Xander had found himself realizing that finding the individual in question for raising him would be particularly easy. He was after all a well educated man, and mage. Understand spell structure, and the ways that certain spells worked meant it was much easier for him to realize the truth that he would be one of a short list of items that lead directly to the spell user that resurrected him from the dead.
Xander had to share a lot of truths with a magician well knowledgeable in tracking spells, but after a good 500-800 coins later Xander had a few specific locations to start looking.
This was the type of adventure that was best done alone, and even if he would be better off making the trip with another person, it wasn't as if he really had to worry about dying right?
Xander made sure to bring plenty of sources of light with him, travelling in the dark was the only real 'dangerous' situation he felt strongly about. However with enough light Xander kept his sanity from escaping him during these dark times.
It was still quite dark out, and Xander could hear the noise of the falls nearby.
"I must be close by" Xander thought out loud raising a lantern, which in such a dark place stood out like a beacon welcoming in any people to his location.
Xander knew it was dangerous holding this thing, but if there was no light he knew he would lose track of his location, time, and what he was doing prior.
When he made it to a clearing by the falls Xander set the lamp down, the light cascading against a few rocks nearby. He sat down, looking around with a look of despair.
"All of that walking and I'm still going to have to wait until the morning to find anything," Xander groaned, knowing that he wouldn't be able to effectively search this forest in the pitch black.
He sat down by a rock, watching over the falls. He kept his mind at attention listening for signs of intruders. Xander had hunches about whom his Necromancer would be, a short list of individuals, and even if one showed up did that immediately mean that it was in fact the correct person? Perhaps the look on their face would tell it all, or perhaps they would not want to see him out of guilt. There was a few possibilities.
