Sima looekd at her, and realized he was unclothed. Sima watched her noticing she seemed to be rather down, he finished the bacon and then ate it immediately after, taking the pan and throwing it into the sink. It made a lot of noise as it clung around metal hitting metal. Sima glared at her almost with a passion before he looked back at his 'tools'. Sima had purchased a good amount of materials, well Lilith did. He grabbed some flour, as well as some dark chocolate, he had slid that into the bag, Lilith did purchase it, but he was moving rather fast and she probably didn't realize half of the items he decided to stock into her pantry. He then pulled out some eggs, and he took all of these items and placed them on the table infront of Lilith. Sima grabbed a few more items including some brown sugar, a bit of cocoa, and butter. He grabbed one of the pans and put it onto the stove, he took the butter and chocolate and placed it into the bowl, letting it do a slow simmer to a melt. After it melted he began to whisk it using a fork until he got a nice dark consistency.
After whisking it nicely he then took the pan off the heat source, setting it on the counter, he then grabbed a bowl and placed it near the pan, pouring the pans contents into the bowl. He then cracked two eggs into the bowl and and threw in a cup of brown sugar, adding flower as well. Sima then began mixing it until it turned into a batter. Sima then pulled out a sheet and laid the batter into it, making sure to line it with a small trace of butter only to keep it from sticking to the metal. Sima then pulled out some more of the batter, only this was a little bit he had left over before he added the flour to make it into batter. Sima drizzled it on top, adding a bit more of the white egg without yolk, to create a sort of fondant.
Sima then stuck this into the over which he had pre-heated before eating the bacon. He then cleaned rather quickly, as if he had done this a lot and it was routine. Sima then sat across from Lilith and sighed, reaching out his hand and poking her. "Lilith, "

Lilith had kept her head down the whole time, but her ears perked up at the different things he was doing. She had no idea what he was making, but it smelled really good. She'd guessed he didn't care about the clothes - or lack there of- so she tried to not focus on it, though it was a tad difficult. She squeezed her eyes shut, and thought of other things- how the library was doing short staffed, how Kail was doing, or Wayland - it had been some time since she'd spoken to those two. That lead her to think about that drunken night- oh! She'd have to tell Sima that, it would be hilarious! No. She shook her head lightly. She wasn't thinking about Sima, his lack of clothes, or whatever that wonderful smelling thing he was making was. She let out a grumbled sigh.
She could hear Sima sit in front of her, but she didn't move. However, she did jump slightly and look up when he poked her and said her name.
What? She was stubborn, that much was clear.

When she looked up at him Sima simply grabbed his hair angrily. He wasn't sure how to say what he wanted. He angrily returned to the kitchen, which was where he was most home. He entered the pantry pulling out some of the sake. He threw another pan and turned on the heat, he made sure to get it as hot as possible. He then threw the chocolate on the pan and it melted quickly and then began to boil. Sima then took the sake and began to pour it into the chocolate. He then also did the same thing with a higher concentrate alcohol that made it catch on fire. He put so much the flames rose almost to the ceiling. Sima didn't even react to it, other then backing away and flipping the liquid in such a way that it began to keep the fire in check. Sima obviously needed a bigger kitchen for the more complex recipes. Sima stopped the heat from the pan and let it simmer down, he then pulled out the brownie platted, and grabbed a knife. He cut out the brownies, then taking a chopstick he poke holes in the top. He then filled in the holes with the syrupy substance of sake and chocolate he had made, he made sure to drizzle it so that the brownies did not only smell good but looked good as well, but with the alcohol in them also gave off a more flavorful experience. He then grabbed a plate, placing a single brownie onto it and drizzling some of the syrup/sake mix over the plate and brownies.
Sima then sat down in front of Lilith and slid it over to her rather cautiously. He then tapped the plate making a loud ringing noise to get her attention.

Her face had a look of confusion when he grabbed his hair and left. Lilith rolled her eyes though, and decided to just watch him, not having a clue what he was doing. She jumped and wanted to shout when the fire nearly hit her ceiling, but she knew he must know what he was doing, and it wouldn't make a difference even if she said anything, so she sat back down cautiously, and watched him closer. She was not letting him set her house on fire. A single eyebrow rose to the amount of alcohol he was using in whatever he was making. What was he trying to do? The smell only got more powerful and it was making her head spin it smelt so nice. All the while she watched, her eyes roamed his back, noticing the muscle that was there, as well as his arms and legs. She was quite unused to the sight, but her eyes really didn't mind. She cracked a small smile, but hid it before he turned back around.
Lilith gave him a look of confusion as he sat in front of her, placing a plate down and tapping on it. Yet again the eyebrow rose, and she looked down to find the incredible looking brownie he'd made. No wonder it smelt so good, it was chocolate. Her eyes widened and she looked up at him.
Did you just spend this entire time to make me a dessert you know would make me feel better, without actually knowing if I would like it?-I love it by the way. She was stunned. She was, of course, still frustrated, but she would bug him later. Right now, this was a gesture she couldn't stay mad at. He was just sitting in front of her, with a peace offering it seemed. She smiled at him and shook her head.
You're crazy.

Sima looked at her, why had she not eaten it? Sima grumbled remembering what she had told him when they first met. He got up and went to grab a stray strawberry and the sauce that he still had out. He plopped the strawberry on top and then drizzled the sauce on it. He then put the pan back down, it still had quite a bit of sauce for the rest of the brownies. Sima was pretty good at making baked goods, as well as a lot of his own home dishes, as well many recipes from his home world. Sima the flicked the plate again making that ringing noise. SIma groaned at her and huffed angrily. "Eat!" He pointed it at it, it was certainly easy to picture him as an angry chef yelling at his staff the way he was acting when waiting for Lilith to bite into the brownie. Sima didn't know what he was going to do with the rest of them however, he was used to cooking for a lot of people.

Lilith watched him, and laughed aloud when he added the strawberry. She smiled at him, but jumped when he ordered her to eat. She looked at him cautiously and bit into the brownie, after, of course, eating the strawberry first. She let out a low moan, and closed her eyes. It was amazing, and she honestly fell in love with it right away. She opened her eyes, and looked at Sima, smiling.
Okay, so this is amazing, and yeah. I can't- She continued to eat, not knowing how to express how much she loved it. She just did, and she had no way to tell him. As far as bringing up her mood, he'd definitely succeeded there, though she still planned on bugging him about it later, she would approach it in a better way. She finished the brownie, and smiled at him again.
Seriously Sima, that was amazing...

Sima looked at her as she ate, and he felt better when she took a bite, he didn't expect her to express herself really, he just wanted her to eat, and stop moping. Sima cascaded back into the bedroom where he put his clothes on. "Much better.." he muttered. He then strolled back to the kitchen happily grabbing a brownie and eating it. He then strolled on over to where he wanted to put the couch. "I'm going to make you a couch," Sima spoke non-chalantely. Sima didn't make furniture, he had built houses before, but he had the plans made for him, he just did the labor. Sima wasn't sure how well this couch would turn out if he designed it.
Sima sat there visualizing how he wanted this couch to be, he wasn't sure if he could make it the best, but damn it was he going to try. Sima wasn't perfect, as much as Lilith might wanted to believe he is, he was not. He was still a person, a person with needs, wants, desires, addictions, quirks, and many other flaws or imperfections that just make him Sima. Lilith would learn that he's not the best man out their, but he tried, and that was what counted, at least Sima hoped so.

Lilith was relieved when he got dressed, she'd be less distracted. She stood, grabbed another brownie, and shoved it whole into her mouth. She turned, chewing slowly, to find Sima sitting on the floor again, speaking of making her a couch.
Why don't I just buy one? Her mouth was still full, but the words came out only half jumbled, still understandable. Lilith walked over and sat right in front of him, her feet almost touching his. She swallowed the brownie, and attempted to clear her mouth and throat of the chocolaty residue. She leaned forward and poked Sima in the forehead. Stubborn. She kept her finger there, resting on his head.

Sima felt her poke him and felt that it perhaps was time to step away from her. "Well If I make it myself you save money," Sima spoke confidently. Sima wasn't quite sure how to talk to her right now, especially when she spoke with her mouth all jumbled. "You keep talking with brownies in your mouth and I will be forced to take them out." Sima spoke that in the nicest way you could possibly say something straightforward, of course his technique for removing the brownies from her mouth was a little more artistic then by yanking them out by hand. Lilith didn't have to know the technique though. Sima was having a hard time forming words now, he wasn't quite sure why he wanted to tell Lilith this.
"Uh, Lilith." He spoke quietly. "Lilith, I, I don't mean to put you on the spot, but, I like it here.." This was hard for Sima to admit. "I never have to be alone here, and, even when you are mad at me, I can't help but want to be around you." Sima laughed blushing. "I just feel like I'm using you, staying here for free while not chipping in at all, I could help pay for things!" It was true Sima didn't have a job, but he could find one. "I could also help pay for a real doctor if you wanted, you know my stitch work isn't the best!" Sima laughed nervously.

Lilith shook her head as he spoke, trying to interrupt, but waited until her finished. He really was crazy, wasn't he? She liked helping, wanted to help! This was nothing for her, if anything, it helped her as well. She knew what she was going to say next might be upsetting, but she felt he needed to hear it if he were to understand why she didn't mind. She hoped he understood.
Sima! Sima, stop, okay? I like that you're staying here. I like being around you as well, even when I'm mad. And like you, I never have to be alone either, and that feeling, I-I can't describe to you how much I love that feeling. Sima, you are not using me, because I am using you. When you suggested staying here, I was wary, but jumped to the chance, because it would mean I would no longer be alone. Not at the night when I scream awake from my nightmares, to in the day when I pace the house with no one to talk to about troubles or memories. Having you here means I can talk to someone, almost at anytime, and I know you will listen! I've been alone my entire life, and I've hated it. But how would I turn to? I don't trust anyone, how could I? But you, for some reason, I trust you. My parents died, and even while being in that orphanage, I was alone. I wasn't human... I'm used to being alone... I can cope with it... but I don't like it. So please, don't think you need to chip in, or help by paying for things, like doctors or furniture, -food maybe, seeing as you actually cook, as opposed to the crap I make- but really, you don't. Because you staying here is helping me more than you could ever fathom. It's opened a new world for me, and there are many things I really don't understand, like the feeling I get in my stomach when you look at me a certain way, or the comfort I feel when I woke up next to you, or watching you walk around my kitchen, basically naked, and only noticing how good you looked, or the complete ease I feel even now, spilling all of this to you, but I feel it, all of it, and it's new, it's scary, but its the best I've felt in as long as I can remember. So please, you're not the burden. If anything, I am to you. While she was speaking, she had subconsciously reached out and taken his hands for a type of support to keep talking. It was more than she had intended to say, but she didn't regret any of it. She looked at him now, her lilac eyes softly glistening and gave him a pathetic half smile, almost as though she were apologizing to him. She squeezed his hands lightly without even thinking about it.

Sima was surprised at her response, it was a lot to process in one sitting. Sima knew what he had to do now, he had to do something. Most people had a hard time changing their goals, but Sima did not if it involved someone he loved. Sima only looked into her eyes, and for a moment wanted to grab a hold of his ring that was around his neck. Sima held her hands, and he held onto them tightly. Sima regretfully held his breath letting his mind talk without thinking first. He smirked, "Continue," Sima liked the way she was talking, he was just teasing her though, he knew she had already said her piece. Sima had already made a few decisions, all without thinking what Lilith would want. He firstly decided that he would no longer share his past with her, she would only feel sorrow about it, and that wasn't necessary. Secondly he decided that he must do something proper in this world, start a proper business. Thirdly he decided that he would grow his relationship with her, despite the pain he felt from his previous relationship.
Sima wasn't sure it would be a cakewalk, the three of those things, but he would try none the less. Sima pulled her hands quickly towards his chest, this was to get her to stumble towards him, so he could wrap his arms around her and give her a hug. "Your a burden that I want, so don't fret over it.." Sima wasn't sure what else to say, but he felt that would get his message across enough. Sima held her tightly, if he didn't he would be shaking. Sima was actually terrified at coming to his new conclusions. He was terrified at being hurt again, terrified at being turned in again, terrified at this chance at a real life. Here Sima could grow old, die, would he be able to do so happily from here on out? Sima couldn't help but get the feeling he was going to die alone, and at the hands of someone close to him, maybe not specifically Lilith.

Lilith fell into him awkwardly, but changed the position of her legs so it didn't hurt. When he wrapped his arms around her, she slowly did the same, clinging to him, and keeping her no crying promise best she could. It was a lot for her to say, and it was surprised she got it all out, but her eyes were stinging, threatening to give way to the flood she felt in her chest. She felt him hold her tightly, and couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. She laughed sarcastically over what he said, admitting that she was a burden, even if he did want to keep her around. She shook her head in his shoulder, and felt terrible for burdening him with what she had said. He didn't need to know, yet she told him anyways. She held him a little tighter, and held her breath for a moment, making sure her tears stayed put. She would not cry, she couldn't- she made him worry enough as it was. She couldn't help but think, how was he to deal with her on a constant basis if she was always hurting him with worry? She didn't want that for him. She needed to become stronger, more selfless and less weak. Better. She made that decision right then and there, setting her mind to it. She wouldn't tell him, he would only tell her that she was fine the way she was, and she didn't want to hear that, not now.
Lilith had calmed down some, and was not relaxing into his arms, nuzzling her face lightly into the crook of his neck, where his shoulder meets. She didn't know why, and it slightly embarrassed her, but it just happened, and it felt comfortable, like a reflex she was unaware of. Her hands still gripped his shirt, but not nearly as tight, though it didn't lessen the emotion she felt of the hug. The intimacy was still there, and she was enjoying it now, letting it sooth her. She wanted to speak, but didn't have the correct words, so she simply held him in silence, hoping he would interpret the correct things.

Sima held her closely, he was going to do something that he knew he was going to regret later, but when Lilith rested so easily on him he couldn't bring himself to do it yet. Sima looked down at her, her breathing so closely in tune with his. It was a feeling that was soothing. Sima was quite fine the way the way the two were now, he just felt a little horrible for a few things that constantly popped in and out of his mind. Sima was fine as is right now however. Sima found her warmth quite addictive, he wasn't sure if this was supposed to be awkward, but Sima found it rather comforting. "Lilith.. " Sima asked her curiously.
"Are you keen on the idea of being around a demon? I mean they are supposed to be quite dangerous.

Lilith stayed where she was, not feeling like moving just yet, but she shook her head into his shoulder. She thought to herself for a moment, before speaking, wanting to make sure she chose the correct words. Sima, I'm not sure what world you're from, or what it was like... But here, in Nova... It's different. More accepting. We've adapted to accepted the Fated in any forms, and unless they attack us, we've no reason to hate them or attack back She shrugged lightly, knowing she could only speak for herself, but she felt it was a common opinion.
Besides. I don't believe you are a true demon. You certainly don't act like one. She needed to correct that statement. What I mean, is you don't like it, you control it, and you care. Those are aspects of a person, and a kind person. Being a demon isn't a bad thing, not the way you seem to do it. And to be honest, it hasn't made me think any differently of you.
She said all this still hugging him. She let out a small sigh and accidentally took in his scent- well her face was almost on his neck, so.- He smelt really good, and her face became rosy at the thought, which she immediately dismissed.

Sima shrugged, he wasn't looking for any specific answer. These questions he directed at Lilith were really to answer questions he had, and without noticing it Lilith was answering these questions. Maybe Lilith did know, Sima was unsure, he was just happy with how things were going overall. Sima groaned slightly not really sure what he was supposed to say to her, "Well," Sima was really not good at keeping this conversation going was he. "At least I know you have that view Lilith, but I disagree, I am very demon like, as much as I'd like to not be, your just haven't seen that side of me yet" Sima yawned. "But at least you won't be afraid of that 'version' of me I know." Sima looked over at the brownies he had made. "I made a little too much," He spoke to Lilith.
"You know, you've seen nothing yet.." Sima smirked. "Most of the things I make you isn't from Teair, so I guess your the first person in the world to try it, other then myself, you quite lucky." Sima laughed shyly. "I'm sure it will be good for a restaurant though." Sima wasn't sure how he'd do with a people from Teair. "I used to work in some big kitchens. It's different then doing it all by yourself, I wonder if I will be able to train some to actually cook my worlds food.." Sima stretched. "Can't be too different right? I guess I could practice with you, but we might need a bigger kitchen" Sima chuckled.
