Lilith got up from the table, noticing that he made no comment on her memories. Maybe she was wrong? She'd have to ask him if she ever wanted to know for sure... But would he tell her? She doubted he'd lie to her face, it just didn't seem like something he would do. She went back to her bed and laid back down, wanting to relax for a few minutes before he got back. She knew her wound wasn't that bad, minor compared to most injuries, but for Lilith it was bad. She usually avoided these things, and for her this was an extreme. She knew Sima was strong, and she wanted to be too. But right now she needed to lay down. Lilith closed her eyes for a moment, but then flashes of that man, grabbing her, groping her, hurting her... Her eyes flew open and she had to sit up, panting, holding her side. Lilith was bad with people, she knew that, and it was because she didn't know how to talk to them, act around them or trust them. She was socially awkward, and it was events like these that only made it worse. Without Sima, she doubted she would have made it through the night without thrashing and screaming due to nightmares, and ripping open her wound in the process. She was sitting up when she heard footsteps heading back towards her door. She quickly calmed her breathing and wiped the sweat off of her forehead. She would be strong.
She looked up when the door opened and Sima walked through, announcing his arrival and she smiled at him. Her smile only grew when she saw the roses in his arms, and she stood to meet him by the door.
Welcome back!

Sima handed her the roses, not really needing to say a thing. He headed over to look around. I certainly felt a lot less lonely in here now that he had been here for 2ish days. Sima just felt happy, in fact it was almost like he had a family again, or at least the beginnings of a family. Sima looked around the place and couldn't help but think of ways to change it, make it more interesting. Not that their was anything wrong with the current place, but Sima could warmly remember the furniture of his own family home. Their was a chair he had this was special, just for the adults, and then the kids would always clamber to see who could get it when iether parent was not in the room. Sima couldn't help but to enjoy the tone in Lilith's voice when she welcomed him back into her home. Sima certainly wasn't aware how fond he actually became of her.
"You weren't too bored were you?" Sima smiled looking at her. The thought of him hurting swam into his head, and he wondered if it would be different here. Sima's powers worked diferently, he didn't seem to lose all of his control, or it was just easier to manage. Sima went to back to his first thought, and then realized just how awkward the thought was. Did Sima think she would be a good mother? Sima blushed slightly, after all this was implying that he thought she would be a good wife too. Sima was rather difficult to make blush, and his own thoughts did it for Lilith, perhaps Lilith had something new to question Sima with now. "I got you these," Sima coughed slightly to hide any deviation in his voice while he reclaimed his original thought process.

No, not at all. Actually I just laid down for a moment. She hid her dream, not wanting him to worry about her more then she knew he already was. She took the flowers graciously, quirking an eyebrow up at the sudden flush of his face.
Thank you, I love them and they're better than the first ones. She smiled up at him brightly and quickly stepped up to kiss his check boldly. She needed to find a way to say thank you for all that he had done for her, without him knowing she knew. It was quite confusing. Plus, she liked when he blushed. It was nice to know she wan't the only one who could get flustered, and she took advantage of it. Lilith turned away from him and walked to the kitchen, looking to put the roses in water. She glanced behind her and motioned for him to follow.
So what were you thinking about just now? He was already flustered and Lilith loved that it wasn't her this time. She liked being in the position to make someone else feel the way she always did- flustered and unsure of how to respond.
It made you blush, and it was cute, so what was it? Having put the flowers in water, she put them on the table, and leaned on the counter, looking at Sima with a playful grin on her face.

Sima was shocked when she kissed him on the cheek, he wasn;t sure how he was supposed to react to it. She made him blush yet again, and was slightly irritated. In fact the way she spoke it was as if it was a challenge. He stood defiantly to her. He had gotten her the roses not to come home flustered. Sima flustered himself yet again, had he called this place his home? It was the closest thing he had to home, but he doubted he had many rights here, or equal rights to Lilith, this was after all her home and Sima was guest. Perhaps this challenge was going to put his stay here in jeopardy, but for some reason Sima felt like he was supposed to raise his best on that. Sima looked at her where he forced the embarrassment down into his stomach. When Sima was confident and made a decision, he was going to do it. Besides, Lilith had started this fluster match, and Sima would more then likely win. Sima stepped forwards with a rather confident grin, which appeared rather quickly, despite him being flustered a moment ago.
Sima grabbed her hands gently enough as to not cause a stir. Sima wasn't sure what he was thinking, but he knew that it would certainly panic Lilith as far as an embarrassment goes. Sima didn't even know if he was ready for such a huge leap of faith, but if he wasn't, then he would figure it out. Their was no turning back at this point at least. "I was thinking about this," Sima responded calmly as he leaned towards Lilith and attempted to give her a kiss. Well that just about did it, Sima didn't know if he was going to survive this, but it certainly was interesting. Sima was still rather sore from earlier, but he had no complaints about what was going on. Sima hadn't kissed a girl for at least a few years now, and it wasn't as if he didn't care for Lilith. The problem in all of this was really how Lilith reacted about this, how she responded, and how Sima felt about it in correspondence afterwards. Sima wasn't very retional in thought, he acted first and thought later, which meant he didn't really understand the heavy gravity behind this action.

She had been staring at him, waiting for a reply, when he just suddenly approached her. Her smile faded quickly, wondering what he was doing. He grabbed her hands and she glanced down at them, then back up at him, her cheeks turning pink. She'd picked a loosing battle. She spoke but she barely heard him, mesmerized by the blue of his eyes. Her eyes widened a decent amount as his lips touched her. She'd known he'd take it as a challenge, but she never would have guessed he'd jump this far. She was just being fun, cute even. This, this was... She lost her words, her eyes falling closed. Her heart raced in her chest, but she didn't want to stop him. She was nervous, scared even, but she admitted to herself that she liked it. She raised her hands and placed them both on his chest, letting him kiss her. Her face was flushed entirely with the tips of her elven ears, so he'd clearly won the battle, but she really didn't care. She leaned her head up a bit more, to reach his height compared to her, and kissed him back.
She really had no experience with such things, none at all actually. Her mind raced with thoughts like What if I actually suck? She could imagine Sima feeling bad for her, not knowing how to tell her. She knew he'd never actually do such a thing, but she imagined it anyway. It took a lot to pull her mind away from such thoughts and just enjoy the moment before it was over.

Sima was suprised, and wasn't entirely sure how to act. It was almost like a scene out of the movies. Sima was interested in her hands, which held so softly in his own. She had brought them up to her chest, and he could see her face full with embarrassment. Sima was embarrassed too, but he knew that he had to deal with the actions he took. Sima pulled away from her, and the sound around the two was silent as the night. Sima could continued, but he chose to hold himself back. Sima didn't want to use Lilith, he wasn't even sure what he wanted out of her. Sima just knew that she was something special and he would be a fool to let that slip through his fingers. He looked her in the eyes and spoke calmly. "How are you feeling?" Sima of course wasn't talking about the kill, but was talking about her wound. Sima was still worried about it, the fact that they kissed didn't change it one bit. Sima couldn't smell blood coming from it so he assumed that it was doing ok. Sima felt obligated to tell her now, he couldn;t have anything continuing without her knowing. He was afraid that she would be afraid, to even look at him, he was afraid that she would gaze at him differently, treat him differently. "I'm a demon," He sighed rather uncomfortably, yet despite the change of pace from the kiss Sima refused to let go of her hands.
Sima pulled her in close and wrapped his arms around her, this way if she was terrified she could at least calm down, and not run away from him screaming for the guards. This was probably not the truth that would happen, but Sima still feared for it.

Lilith was lost in it, the kiss they shared. Even when he pulled away from her, she swore she could still feel it. She opened her eyes, wide and bright and looked up at him, like lilac orbs. Her face was a light pink but the embarrassment had left it. She gave him a small smile and looked down.
Fine -ahem- I'm fine. It doesn't hurt right now. She liked that he was still hold her hands up against his chest. It felt warm, intimate. Though the red in her face had gone down, the tips of her ears were still glowing, visible to him with her hair up as it was. She was smiling softly like an idiot, and it didn't fade when he spoke again, confessing to her that he was a demon. She looked up at him, right into his eyes before he pulled her closer to hug him. She could tell he expected her to fear him, or some sort of bad reaction. She wanted to prove him wrong.
Lilith rose her arms, one around his back, one holding the back of his neck/head lightly, and she brought him down closer to her to hug him tighter. She didn't want him to think she was afraid, because she wasn't.
Sima, I know. She spoke softly, quietly. I know what I saw, and I told you I knew who saved me... Mr. Hero. And before you tell me to stay away or something stupid let me just say that I'm not afraid of you. This is a different world you're in now. I'm not going to run away from you Sima. I care to much. She let out a small giggle like twinkling bells. It's been what? Two days? Already you've saved me from wolves, from horrible men who are the real monsters by the way, from my past, from myself even, making me promise not to cry. Two days and I care. She held on a bit tighter, not knowing what his reaction to all this would be.

Sima listened to her words, and he was surprised to say the least. She knew and she was okay with it? Sima held onto her tightly, "Alot has changed in 2 days hasn't it?" Sima chuckled llowly. Sima didn't know any relationship that grew as fast as theirs seemed to do. Sima looked at her ears noticing their shade. He chuckled slightly at it, and he almost decided to do something that would make her even more flustered. Luckily her her the coin landed on the other side. Sima just pulled back a little bit so that he could see her face properly. "I.." He blushed slightly. "I guess I care about you, and I want to make sure your safe, but please, do not call me a Hero." Sima felt that it wasn't appropriate. "I am not a Hero, I am only doing what is right, but that doesn't make a Hero." Sima thought he wasn't any were close to being a hero, but apparently he was a Hero in Lilith's eyes. Sima kept his arms around her yet still. "I am.." Sima was beginning to get a little bit sick of this deep talk, he enjoyed talking to her of course, but explaining himself wasn't his strong suit. Sima decided to go back to a previous thought, making her more flustered. Sima could end this deep conversation hopefully and make her more flustered. Sima quickly realized a way to make this possible, and he was fairly confident that he wouldn't get in too much trouble, however, if he was to get in trouble he wouldn't mind too much.
Sima moved one of his hands from around her waist to end it on her rump. Yes, Sima put his hand on her butt. Sima was a bit nervous about doing this though, even a bit embarrassed himself, but he felt that the look on Lilith's face would be enough reward for being embarrassed. Sima just placed it their, with an odd look in his eyes, curiously wondering what her response would be. Sima pulled her closer as he tried to get her uncomfortable.

She smiled from over his shoulder, and nodded lightly. A lot has changed… but I like it… Her voice remained soft, nervous as she spoke. This was very new territory for her. She let her grip on him go when he pulled back, but kept her arms around his shoulders, looking up at his face.
I guess I care about you too Sima. She chuckled lightly. He didn’t get it did he? He was so pure hearted it made her sad he couldn’t see it. You may not think so, but you’re kind of my hero now. I could have died twice now, and its because of you, both times, that I didn’t. That means something to me. I won’t call you a Hero, but that doesn’t mean I don’t believe it. She stuck her tongue out at him defiantly, working around what he had said carefully. She could think it all she wanted. Point Lilith.
She felt so comfortable in his arms, it was odd. She could feel them around her, moving slightly before-
Hey! Sima! Her face instantly blossomed a ruby red, her ears almost flaming in colour. She knew he was doing it on purpose but she couldn’t help but be mad, he’d ruined their moment. She’d never had someone touch her anywhere before, aside from that awful man from last night- she held back a shudder, not wanting to offend Sima. This was completely different. She couldn’t relate the two and she wouldn’t. Instead she hit his chest with her fist. It was firm but playful.
You are crazy. Absolutely and totally crazy. While she spoke, a stubborn look remained in her eyes, but her voice was only slightly annoyed, and she’d yet to move, aside from pulling back a little. She narrowed her eyes at him, raising an eyebrow.
You walk a thin line my friend. You think it’s okay to just waltz in, kiss me, start a deep conversation then completely stop it by touching my butt? I mean I barely object to most of that but still. Mean. A small smile cracked on her face, unable to take herself seriously. She was still beyond embarrassed, and she could still feel the warmth of his hand there, but this was all so new to her that she wasn’t sure what to say or do. She was actually incredibly flustered, but she managed to play it off well, just to spite him. She raised one of her hands from his shoulder, and poked his nose again.
You are a lucky man. Normally I may have freaked out and tried to hurt you. She meant this in a purely joking way, as if she could ever take on Sima. She smiled again, putting her hand back on his shoulder.

Sima pulled back when she hit him in the chest. He giggled slightly like a child that didn't really understand. He moved in a way that expected her to hit him. It was almost as if Sima had done this before, and it was surprising how similar she was to Sima's wife. She was much different too, but that reaction was just so similar. Sima popped back up, almost as if he hadn't done anything wrong. To Sima, he wasn't doing too much wrong. He didn't consider what had happened earlier however, and if she didn't seem so playful Sima would more then likely feel horrible. "Your right, I'm crazy, I told you that from the beginning remember?" Sima spoke calmly, almost as if he had something to prove. "I'm sorry I guess it was a little mean, but I wanted to see you so flustered yet again." Sima admitted to her once again. He scratched his head nervously. "I didn't mean to offend you sorry, I had to find some way to get you to do that cute look of yours.." He spoke muttering under his breath in a way.
Sima was a bit happy at her response, it was something he was familiar with and he reacted very similarly. Sima had nothing there that needed him anymore, so Lilith naturally became that. Something that he could pour his soul ito and keep safe, even if what he had just done didn't seem to be the best of intentions, Sima's only goal was to make her flustered. Sima took action, and often thought later, this was an example of this working badly. His ears almost perked up as he heard her last bit of wording.
"You are a lucky man. Normally I may have freaked out and tried to hurt you." Sima stopped for a moment as he recollected his thoughts. He sighed slightly not really wanting to tell her this. "Your right, I'm lucky" Sima chuckled slightly. "I'm hurt everyday" Sima admitted. "You get attacked by wolves and I have to worry about you, you cry I worry about you, you share your story and I worry about it, you get stabbed i worry about it, it's a surprise that I haven't had a heart attack yet. Sima chuckled playfully. "But it's worth it, isn't it." Sima looked at her curiously. "I'm not a Hero, because if a Hero had a choice, that Hero would always choose what is right, and that's not me." Sima mostly chose what was right, but he was not perfect when their was something he cared about. "If I had to choose between saving you, or saving 100 other people, I would choose you, a Hero would choose to save the other 100." Sima explained rather upset at this realization, yet extreme passion in his words.
"This is why I don't want you to call me a Hero, because no matter what your the priority..." Sima muttered embarrassed, but also used his hands to illustrate his thoughts. "Lilith, That's a Hero, but I could never be that if you were around..." Sima did not have the resolve to be a hero, to put the well being of 'everyone' over his own. Sima would be selfish and make Lilith his priority.

Lilith laughed with him, agreeing once more to his craziness. She felt so odd, so free. Lilith had never been one for social things, people, friends, or family. The fact that she was in this situation right now, and she wasn’t freaking out about being nervous, or constantly questioning what to do in her head was so weird for her. She was questioning why she wasn’t questioning. He made her feel so comfortable, safe. She didn’t feel like she had to be nervous, like she had to worry about what was going on: that would happen later. She shook her head at his response, hitting him again lightly in the chest.
Oh! So it’s okay when you try to fluster me, but as soon as I try to get you back you swoop in and stop me- She stopped, blushing again, but still laughing. He kissed me. She still wasn’t sure that actually happened. She rolled her eyes at him though, at the mention of her look that he found cute. Yeah, well I find it cute when you blush too! She shrugged, not really hearing how that didn’t help her situation at all. She was looking away from his stubbornly until her spoke again, her eyes widening slightly at the change of tone.
She felt bad, hurting him so much as he said she did. She didn’t mean to make him worry, she was the way she was. She was looking down, feeling sorry, when he said it was worth it. Her head rose slowly, and her eyes met his, wide with curiosity as to what he’d say next, and wonderment. Just yesterday she’d been going on about how she’d had no family, and thinking to herself that no one could ever want someone as timid and weak as she… What was happening? He spoke of Hero’s, of making the right choice, and Lilith felt her breath catch in her throat. No one had ever said something so beautifully strange, so meaningful and so honest to her before. She didn’t know what to say, but he’d continued on his definition of a Hero, and how he could never be one with her around… She couldn’t speak. It was a bittersweet moment, as she still saw him as her Hero, but she understood his words completely. She didn’t think, her mind was to flustered of words she was repeating in her head, over and over, waiting for it to register completely. Without thinking she leaned up to him again, her face a soft glowing pink, and her eyes glimmering with unshed tears and filled with an emotion she couldn’t describe, caused by his words, and touched her lips to once again. It was soft and quick, her heart beating to fast to make it last longer on her own. She knew she shouldn’t be nervous, but she could not control her heartbeat.

Sima was a little surprised at her actions as well. He couldn't help but feel bad however, he still had a huge burden on his heart, and she knew that didn't she? Sima tried his best to hide this, he would try to do what was right, but not in the context he mentioned earlier. Sima was after all enjoying her response to his words, to him this was embarrassing, but he wasn't afraid in any way. To Sima telling the truth was something extremely powerful, and he told the truth only to the people he truly cherished. Sima did his best to live life truthfully, but the way he was raised in a world that wanted to kill him, meant lying was necessary, and now Sima did it almost subconsciously. Telling the truth was a powerful way for Sima to show his trust with someone. "What are you talking about, I don't blush" Sima spoke defiantly, but he was obviously joking around. Sima was still surprised at how her face light up at his words, it was confusing, and when she moved in to kiss him he was even more confused.
When she pulled away Sima was not blushing, he wasn't even flustered. This wasn't that Lilith was doing anything wrong, but Sima had far too much on his mind. He was thinking of things like, what if Lilith was hurt, left him, ran away, what if she somehow lost her home. Sima was thinking of scenarios he had to fix, to make sure things were absolutely safe. This was the type of thinking he did, he was so paranoid of something going wrong, that it was affecting how he rationally thought. Sima had lost people close to him, he was making sure that Lilith wouldn't be on the list. "Uhmm.." Sima spoke softly. "How about that walk?" Sima felt that if things continued like this Sima would again do something he would regret. "It's nice outside, but I want you to be careful still.." He muttered, thinking that she could find a way to hurt herself.

Yes you do. I saw it went you walked in the door. Don't lie. She laughed at him, noting his reaction when she kissed him. She had to keep in mind about his wife, and all he'd gone through. This couldn't be easy for him, any of it, so she wouldn't take it personally, not this time. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, and smile at him, acting her normal self, aside from still being quite close to him.
I would love to go on a walk. It's weird being inside all day. She took the opportunity to pull away from, and walked towards the other room. Not the forest okay? She looked over her shoulder, and laughed at him. She was enjoying her time with him, she just needed to remember to keep it light and fun. Serious conversations seemed to weird him out, and she could tell intimacy was starting to as well. She sighed. She had no idea what she'd gotten herself into, but she wasn't about to give up either. She grabbed her coat and turn to him, smiling.
You coming?

Sima looked at her confused for a moment, how was he not the one ready to go? Sima headed over to the door and opened it for her, reaching his hand out in a way for her to take his arm. It after all was the gentlemanly thing to do right? "Hey uhm, Lilith? I was wondering about something.." SIma said worriedly. "I never really asked because, well, It isn't something that I feel is important, but I'm curious regardless, what race are you?" Sima had never seen elves, so he had no idea what Lilith was. Elves didn't really exist where he lived, so her eyes, which were rather cute in his opinion, still made him curious, and he wondered what exactly she was. He held the door and awaited for her to take his arm, if she so chose to, if she did not than he would simply close the door behind her.

Lilith smiled and gently placed her arm in his, thankful for the support. She laughed at his question though, a soft laugh, nothing mean about it. She shook her head at him, finding him very cute. She supposed the land he was fated from must be quite different. Ahem. Well. I am a Moon Elf. With her other hand she gestured to her ears as the began to walk, closing the door behind her. The air felt cool, but nice on her skin, as she hadn't stepped foot outside all day. She took a breath in, closing her eyes for a moment, enjoying the breeze against her face.
We're not uncommon, but some of us have more subtle traits than others. My ears and eyes are usually the give away, but my hair is actually a trait as well. She flicked it out of her face, speaking about it begrudgingly. She really didn't care much for it. She squeezed Sima's arm softly for a moment, using it to hold up her weight for a split second when she felt faint and he side throbbed, but it passed quickly, and she continued on like nothing had happened.
So, I wonder, has anyone welcomed you to Nova? I know you've been around town, but how long have you been here for? She was curious now, not knowing how long it had been since Sima had been pulled out of his world and into this one.
