Sima looked down at his arm, which had Lilith on it. It was an interesting feeling. She was so light, Sima bet he would have no problem lifting her. Why did that thought come to mind? Sima often looked at objects and considered the question. "Could I lift it?" The answer was always yes it seemed, but that was because Sima refused to give himself boundaries. In his world, being able to lift anything probably was possible, but here Sima's body had strict limitations, in fact, his muscles were still recovering from the night before. Sima had pain, it wasn't as if he was without it, but to him that was his job. Pain was their to be burdened, and he took the pain as a burden. Sima's pain tolerance was remarkably high, it still didn't mean that he could not be broken by pain, but he was so determined that pain sometimes was a small obstacle.
What was more important to Sima, complaining about the wounds he had gotten, or making Lilith feel better? It was an obvious answer. "No one has welcomed me to Teair, In fact, your the only one that really knows I don't really belong here." Sima spoke admitting this truth. "I'd rather keep it that way, if that's possible." Sima spoke to her with kind words, not sounding mean, but also sounding demanding, authoratative. "Hey Lilith, why don't we grocery shopping together while we are out? I notice your kind of low on variety of what's in your pantry.." Sima spoke his mind, in fact, he was probably a little too comfortable in this place already. Sima had dug himself a hole here, and he was probably not going to get out. So Sima had to put barriers between him, and his powers, in order to keep Lilith safe from himself anyways.

Lilith nodded to him, Oh! I wasn't planning on telling people- who do I have to tell? I just meant that people who are Fated are usually given some sort of explanation and such about out world. A reassurance of sorts, as people usually freak out when arriving here- so I've been told. She smiled at him, promising to keep it a secret, and agreed to go shopping. She wasn't used to having enough food for two, let alone actual means for two, so she had to admit her resources were really low. Being on her own, she really didn't worry about that much. But she wasn't alone anymore. That thought made her smile. It was nothing romantic or intimate about the thought- she knew Sima had a pas he still struggled with, she'd seen the ring and put some pieces together. She knew not to push that, not that she knew what to push. This was strange to her as a friendship, let alone something more, though she knew her mind has already seen it happen, and she admitted it would be nice. It was more about having a friend, a companion. Someone to trust and talk to. She no longer had to be lonely, and she loved the simple thought of that, of just sharing a meal with someone rather than eating some fruit alone before bed.
Lilith directed them towards the market place, thinking quietly to herself about various things. She had a small secret to keep from him, nothing big, just something she knew he would tease her about if he knew. She looked in the opposite direction of Sima now, her cheeks becoming slightly rosy. Sima had been her first kiss, and though she doubted that would be surprising to anyone, she still felt weird about telling him. She just knew he would tease her, try to make her blush as he had been lately. She shook her head, holding in a laugh, as they arrived at their destination. She looked over and up at Sima, gesturing for him to lead.
You pick, I buy. You are the one cooking after all, so you should pick what we get, I don't really know so. She shrugged carefully, still holding onto his arm. She was afraid that if she let go, she'd get dizzy again and fall, and she really didn't want to worry him again.

Sima looked around the market, using his nose to find where items he really wanter were first. He made sure to get a cheap bag off of one of the vendors that were nice enough to let him use it. In return Sima promised to get eggs from that establishment, since Lilith offered to pay Sima simply let her do the transaction in those regards. "So, maybe this time, we could cook as a team?" Sima enjoyed cooking, but their really wasn't any reason he couldn't include Lilith in this past time of his. "It's not as hard as it looks, it's usually just creative thinking, a little math, and love." Sima chuckled at the last bit. "I think it would be more fun to have you cook something interesting with me, rather then me do it by myself." Sima added as he stopped by a meat vendor in order to purchase various types of meat still having no clue of Lilith's defiance towards meat. "Let's get this one!" Sima pointed like a child that was having too much fun in a grocery store. "And this one!" Sima pointed out some more as he grabbed the meats, allowing Lilith to pay.
Sima would have normally paid himself, but he had to save, normally he wouldn't stock up like they were here, but instead Sima would hunt his food. Sima picked up some herbs, again Lilith offered to pay. Sima felt that when he did have his restaurant he would more then pay back any debt he owed Ms.Lilith. "And, you should pick some items too, I mean it's not as if I'd be cooking for myself." Sima told her. "Treat me like your personal chef!" He laughed, actually however, he felt that she shouldn't call him that, or at least didn't really want her to.

Lilith made a face when he wasn't looking, she couldn't believe she'd forgotten to tell him about the meat. She'd certainly enjoyed it when he'd cooked it for her, but she felt bad about eating even still. She payed for each transaction, not minding it at all. She was just walking around absently, paying when she needed to. She was trying hard to focus on being careful. She didn't want to open her wound- she'd ruined enough dresses these past few days. She was watching Sima. He looked to happy picking out all this food. So far, he hadn't picked anything she didn't like, aside from the meat- which he looked so pleased about, that she couldn't tell him. She wanted to let him enjoy it, it wasn't a big deal.
I would love to try and help, though I warn you, I'm really no good at these sorts of things. She shrugged lightly, and shook her head at his request to get more for herself, because what he'd picked was perfectly fine. But, of to the side, she'd seen a small shop that looked as though it carried minor weapons.
I will be right back. She moved away from Sima, approaching the shop to see if she could buy a new dagger. She missed the bit of protection it provided for her. She looked around for a moment, smiling to the creepy looking guy running it, and picked out a simple one: Blue hilt, silver knife, and it had a swirly pattern along the blade. She liked it. She quickly went to the man and payed for it, wanting to get out of there and back to Sima, that guy was really creepy. Once she'd returned, she took a moment to put the newly boughten dagger in the place the old one used to go, in her boot. It took a bit of effort, as bending down as she did hurt her side.
Sima, She huffed out standing back up. You are not my personal chef. You're my friend. I mean, if you offer, then yeah, I'll eat it, but don't think you have to do this for me. I can cook, just not very well. She shook her head at him. She didn't think of him as the help, or a personal chef, or anything like that. He was living in her house as a friend, nothing less.

Sima glared back at Lilith as she let go of his hand. He wasn't angry at her, but rather angry at the type of place they were in. Sima wanted to keep her safe, and her running over to a creepy man who sold knives wasn't the best picture. So yeah, Sima followed her. He didn't hide this, he just walked with her casually to the weapons shop, looking rather distraught at Lilith, but making sure she couldn't see this. Sima thought it was comical though, and he felt rather embarrassed for actually wanting to keep an eye on her, or at least that him being so near would make it rather obvious, at least when she turned around and noticed anyways. After she was done purchasing her dagger they continued to pick up the rest of the groceries. Sima picked out some items that he thought Lilith would enjoy, when he cooked it was really to please her, make her happy, which is why he wanted her input so badly. Sima felt however that he should say something about her leaving in the manner she did in order to purchase the knife. "Hey Lilith, be careful, you really ought to watch out for your wound, not to mention your well being, that guy could have been just like the ones last night.." Sima muttered trying to hide his so obvious worrying.
Sima stood back a little bit as Lilith responded so boldly to what he said earlier about being her personal chef. Sima sighed lightly at her response, yet he was actually quite pleased with it. "I think we have everything we need, " Sima spoke perhaps a little quietly. "Unless their is anything else you want we should probably head back, and you should let me re-check your wound when we do, make sure everything's ok." "Then we can get started on making some food if you want, or even just relax." Sima spoke calmly.

She looked up when he spoke, confused. It's in the middle of a public place, there's no way- I mean, yeah he was creepy but I doubt it. She continued walking, and decided to loop her arm back on his. It was comfortable and gave the assurance that she wouldn't fall. When Sima decided they were done, she simply nodded and smiled, agreeing to head home.
No no I can look at it. Really. She glanced away from him, her face turning pink. She was happy he was willing to help so much, but unless she put on those horrible purple pants - which she could, if she could find them again- she'd have to take off her dress again. Her face brightened a little more at that thought.
Um, -ahem- Can we relax for a while first? I'm not super hungry just yet. She looked back at him now, the colour fading slowly, and smiled, hoping he was alright with that. They made their way back to her house, and she unlocked the door, stepping in with him. She took the food away from him, and began to put it away, needing something to do.

Sima agreed with her. "Yeah no problem, we can relax for a little."[/b] He noticed her response to him wanting to check her wound and he felt slightly idiotic. Of course she wanted to check it herself. Sima also felt obligated to defend his paranoia, when so easily denied the thought that she could be attacked in daylight. "I have been attacked in daylight many times, Lilith, just because they're a lot of people doesn't make it more safe.." Sima was of course going off the thoughts from his home world where everything wanted to kill him, but to Sima that was how the world was, and you were either powerful and survived those trials, or you were weak. Sima hated the concept, but when he was growing up alone, without any parental supervision, or even the faintest idea of life, it seemed to be the only truth. Sima was here to protect, and that was what he was going to, a little bit of paranoia night have to be tolerated.
"Sorry if I seem to be over cautious, but If I wasn't like this I probably wouldn't be alive today.." Sima admitted a bit more then he wanted to, and if Lilith had good insight she could make logical assumptions about how Sima's home world was like. Sima headed into the house when she opened the door, casually looking around. Sima wasn't used to relaxing, at least he hadn't done it in a while. "So how are we going to relax?.." He curiously asked, perhaps they just lounged around on some sort of sofa? And watch the fireplace? Oh wait Lilith didn't have a fireplace, so what were they to do, SIma wasn't against the idea of casual talk either, but he also wanted Lilith to check her wounds, if she wasn't to allow Sima.

Lilith looked at him, and instantly felt bad. Of course he had. She had so much to thank him for, and here she was making him worry again. Hey, I'm sorry Sima, I guess I just trust to easily... She scratched the back of her head, and looked around her house. What were they going to do? Well first, she had to check her wound, that she knew. But after that? Lilith wasn't one to relax, she was either in the library or at home sleeping, eating or drawing. How was she supposed to keep Sima entertained and such? She really needed to get a couch... but where would it go? Her house was so small.. Lilith shook her head and looked at him apologetically.
Honestly, I have no idea. I've never had to entertain people before, and for myself, well I don't do much when I'm home. I'm sorry, i really don't know... She looked around the house, distraught, and frowned, thinking perhaps they should just start cooking. It was only early afternoon though, and that wouldn't take up a lot of time.
Well, let me go check on my wound, and I'll think of something, I suppose... She shrugged and made her way to the bathroom, knowing Sima would make himself at home. Once the door was closed, She gently took off her dress, and sat on the floor to look at it more carefully. Sima had done a great job stitching it back together, so it was healing alright, it just needed to be cleaned. She stood, wet a cloth and carefully dabbed at it, removing excess blood from how it had leaked since then. It was tender and sore, but manageable, until the cloth caught on a stitch or a scab, she couldn't tell, but it pulled the wound and hurt like hell. Lilith sucked in some air and let out a groan like gasp, her eyes stinging. She let out another breath, and carefully removed the cloth. It had caused it to start bleeding again, but it was nothing major. Lilith started the process over, dabbing more carefully than before now.

Sima did in fact make himself at home. He sat down on the floor in a tiny spot that was relatively empty. Empty enough for a sofa at least, so Sima pretended it was a sofa. He sat there and looked at his pretend his fireplace. "So warm.." Sima put his hands out as if feeling the heat of the fire. This was not as much fun as he thought it would be. Sima dropped his hands as his nosed pick up a scent that was familiar to last night. "She screwed up.." He mumbled under his breath thinking that she should have just let him take care of it, he knew she would more then likely try to hide this, but it didn't smell as if she was bleeding a lot. Sima didn't have to worry about it, hopefully. Sima laid down on his make belief couch, it was really him laying on the floor now. He then decided to look up at the roof, perhaps a larger home was necessary. Sima was sure that Lilith didn't care, but it was almost like he didn't want anything less than the best here.
Sima shrugged laying down, Sima was also trying to find a way to pass the time. He wondered if their was anyways to get that whole romantic like mood going again, it was rather fun. However this was when he realized that perhaps now was the time he needed. Lilith certainly did seem to make him happy, but would it be enough? The question certainly seemed to nag him. Sima took a piece of string that had torn off of his under shirt, he had certainly already started to degrade it, and he seemed to go through a lot of undershirts oddly. He then, in the time he had alone, attempted to remove the ring that adorned on his finger. It was the only appropriate thing to do if he meant any feelings towards the person near him, even if he wasn't 100% sure on his own feelings, if she felt anything towards him the ring certainly would confuse or even hurt her feelings. After all Sima was chasing a ghost, and a ghost that had betrayed him none the less. Sima twisted the ring, and as he did, it was almost as if someone turned on a tap. Sima was having an extremely hard time fighting back his own tears.
He pulled the ring from his finger, and his heart dropped at the thought of losing it. This was really the last item left from his world, and it held great value. Sima quickly tied the string around the ring and quickly placed around his neck, and then concealing it under his undershirt. He wiped his eyes quickly before Lilith even had the chance to leave her room and peer in. Sima was certainly having a fun time on this invisible couch.

Lilith finished cleaning her wound and carefully dried it off, not wanting a wet spot to appear on her dress. She put it back on, fixed her hair agin, and stepped out of the bathroom. So. I screwed up. She laughed nervously, showing him the wet cloth and the bit of blood on it before putting back in the bathroom, where she'd wash it later. She then looked back, and cocked her head to the side raising her eyebrows.
So.... why are you laying on my floor? She couldn't help but laugh at the site. It was both cute and odd, seeing Sima lounge around on the wood flooring. She walked over and laid down next to him, putting her arms at her sides. Well this isn't comfortable at all. Why on earth are you doing this? She laughed again, turning her head to face him. She looked at his face curiously. Perhaps she was imagining it, but his face looked red. Not blush red, but that red that one gets from holding in tears and thus, holding in your breath momentarily. A colour she knew quite well. She could tell he was hiding it, which made her sad, but she didn't say anything. If he didn't want her to know, then she would not ask.
So! She smiled brightly for him, Is this how we're relaxing? By laying on the floor, cause I have to tell you, the bed is far more comfy, really. She giggled again, and stuck her tongue out playfully. If he was upset, then she was going to be a slight goofball to cheer him up. True, she wasn't good with people, but in her heart she was a goof, and it only came out when she trusted someone. Infact, she hadn't acted this way since she was a child. It felt nice.

Dima groaned, she was obviously confused to as why he was laying here. "I'm imagining that their is a couch here" Sima chuckled, her comments about the bed caught his attention a little. What was she asking? It seemed a little too playful, an odd reminder of the way his ex acted. Sima couldn't help but make comparisons, especially after doing something so memorable. Sima shrugged, not really sure the meaning behind her words. Sima felt that if they were towards something he was uncomfortable with he could simplt move things in his own direction. Lilith certainly was someone special, Sima could tell that regardless of the amount of time he had spent with her. Sima got up from where he laying, his comfortable imaginary couch. Sima then started to head over to the bed, he flopped on top of the bed laying his head downward. Sima wasn't expecting anything but conversation at this point, and that was a good thing. Sima wanted to talk to her about all sorts of things, he wanted to show her things, wanted to be human. Sima knew that was physically impossible, but his heart was more human than most people out there, Sima just had to realize it.
"My restaurant needs a name.." Sima muttered. "Got any ideas," Sima had certainly browsed through some name suggestions, but he was never good at deciding.

Lilith laughed as he got up and flopped and she sat up as well, sitting crisscross in front of him, staying on the floor. She's realized how her words could have been taken wrong, and she was glad he didn't seem to take it that way. Lilith looked up to the ceiling, and tapped her lips with her finger while she tried to think of an answer. She was awful at this type of thing, but she could certainly have fun with it. She loved talking to him, about anything really. She could probably stay up forever to talk if they found good topics.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. She let out a breath with her words, and it sounded like a sigh. Sima's Palace? She giggled, it sounded so fancy. Kickass Food? Again she laughed, this time harder. She really like his food. She put her hands on her hips, still sitting. She looked odd, sitting cross-legged on the floor, her hair in a big mess of a bun, hands on hips and a squished up face while she thought. She was being silly, and it just felt great.
Simply Sima's? She thought it had a nice ring to it, but she shrugged, after all, he'd have the final say, and she was mostly joking. She blew a puff of air up and out of her mouth to blow away the strands of hair that had fallen into her face while she was laughing.

Sima laid in the bed listening to her words, and laughed at the mention of Sima's Palace. "Sima's Palace?!" He laughed rather loud, you could tell he had a good set of pipes in that neck of his. "That's crazy, " Sima laughed. "You know how many times I have been chased out of things!" Sima was rather surprised he added that information, in fact he was so surprised he even covered his mouth. "Uhmm, I mean prayed at those things!" Sima added laughing afterwords, deciding not to care too much about his words. Perhaps Lilith would take that as a joke, most preferable anyways.
"I'm not sure what I'll call it, I want it something reminiscent, something that people always feel comfortable returning too, yet distant and different if you haven't been there a while.." Sima shrugged, "I'll figure it out!" Sima turned over to look at Lillith. "Hey Lilith, " Sima felt a little embarrassed asking this, a little scared too. "Do you think I'm a monster for killing those men!" Sima hadn't discussed this, but it ate at him. "I mean, I just took their lives because of what they did to you, but surely I could have let them live, I just, when I get like that I can't control myself, I didn't want to kill them!" Sima gripped his hand in stress. Lilith promised him she would be there to talk to him, perhaps this was the first time he was going to use it.
"Their lives are on my hands, and, I could have let them live! Instead I took their lives without mercy! That can't be right can it?" "I don't want to be a monster, not anymore, not in your eyes..." Sima did his best to avoid eye contact .

Lilith laughed with him, and she could imagine Sima being legitimately chased out of a place by and old man with a broom or something, which only made her laugh even more, so much so, she couldn't speak right away. That is, until he asked her a question. Her smile faded and she looked down. She had been trying not to think about it, but how could she? He must have been tortured with the thoughts... He killed a group of men... She looked up at him, knowing what she thought differed from what she felt.
Sima... I know for a fact you are not a monster. Want to know how I can tell? Your eyes. When I see them, I instantly know how kind hearted you are. You didn't want kill them, I know that. If you could have you would have just spooked them away, protecting yourself and me, just like the wolves. No, you're not a monster. Control is a hard thing, especially in a form like yours I imagine... I wish they didn't have to die, but I'm glad that they're gone... does that make me a monster? For being happy that they're dead? She looked up at him sadly, understanding that even though them dying wasn't the best option, that it was completely out of his control. She was grateful, but should she really be happy? The thought frightened her. She felt and odd feeling in her chest, when he said he didn't want to be a monster in her eyes, it was oddly endearing. Lilith stood up slowly and walked to the bed, sitting on the edge of it while he was still laying down. She put her hand on his back softly.
You could never be a monster in my eyes Sima, that I can promise you. She knew that things had been rough for him before, people scared of him, attacking him, and she knew that some people probably betrayed him once they saw his demon side. She wouldn't be one of those people. She knew what he was, but she also knew who he was, and that was what mattered to her.

Sima couldn't help but feel happy at her what her words meant. Sima had spent years with other people, but as soon as they found out what hey was those years didn't matter. Sima was just a monster, something that could be used and then discarded. The reason why people could do this, it was simple, because he was not human. Sima laid on the bed wondering if her words were the truth, oerhaos they were, but Sima had spent time with people he trusted far more then Lilith, and they ended up doing horrible things to him. Sima didn't take their relationship lightly however, if you could call it that. Sima did trust her, but he just was being cautious. Sima was beginning to think maybe he should do something, say something, tell her more about himself. The first time Lillith spoke of her past it disgusted him so much he tried to forget, but he knew he shouldn't. Sima had hoped he was doing the things that no one else seemed to for her, but he didn't treat this like a shore, he enjoyed it. Sima didn't know if he was her first kiss or not, but when he first kissed her in certainly was a thought to stay in his mind.
"Lilith, I'm not really sure how I should act around you, with most people lines are clearly defined, but with you I feel comfortable doing things I often don't feel comfortable doing with almost anyone else." Sima looked into her lilac eyes, almost for the first time not picturing Hotaru when he had done so. "I have to admit, your quite soft too." Sima was talking about her skin of course, "It was certainly a fun night waking up next to you anyways," Sima of course was talking about how they ended up cuddling together, despite nothing going on, Sima almost accidentally made it sound as something did. This was purely unintentional however, and was an odd coincendence.
