She shook her head at his comment of her last name. It wasn't the first time she'd heard it, not by far. She finished eating, and stood up to clean her hands. Once that was done, she returned to her seat across from him, watching him, resting her chin in her hands and her elbows on the table.
I remember quite well how we met. She smiled. It was herbs, and I do still need to get more, as I never got any at all. But not today I'm afraid. Besides! You said we could go into town and scope out some places today. She raised her eyebrow, wondering if he'd changed his mind. Doing that, along with going out for dinner, was more than enough for a single day.
Catch a wolf? Sima, no! The colour drained from her face, though this was the opportunity she'd been waiting for. I know you like meat, so I understand hunting, but I would never want to be apart of it. I've been meaning to tell you, I prefer not to eat meat. I mean I can, and it tastes good, especially how you made it, but it's just a preference. She blushed, looking down.

Sima looked at her, almost for a moment forgetting that she said she disliked meat at all. "I meant for a pet!" He huffed crossing his arms. "And, why didn't you speak up about a month ago? I've been feeding you meat this entire time!" Sima felt slightly betrayed, it was not that she had done anything wrong. It just hurt him to know she was eating something be prepared, that she didn't enjoy, or enjoyed less because of the added meat. "Had I known I would have never suggested feeding you meat!" Sima sounded slightly upset about it, as if him feeding her meat made his cooking mean less, simply because she did not like the meat. "So you didn't enjoy those meals?" Sima had to know, it wasn't as if it was going to ruin his culinary 'career' but it was something that he prided himself in, making someone smile just by the taste of his food. If he was feeding her something she didn't enjoy he wanted to know, and he felt bad regardless for doing it.
"I don't want to feed you something you don't like.." Sima sighed lightly. "I'm going to have to re-write the entire list!" He huffed, not becoming too upset about it.

Sima, I'm sorry... I meant to tell you the first night, when you made that dish. And no, I enjoyed them all! As I said, they tasted wonderful, so I never had the heart to tell you, because I know how much you love making things, and how much you like mean... I'm sorry. She felt so bad for telling him so late, and getting the reaction she was. She'd meant to spare his feelings by not speaking, not hurt him.
She took his hands in her own, squeezing them, but avoiding eye contact. I'm sorry Sima...

"Lilith, I could never be mad at you for something so silly.. I just, I wanted to make you something special! I want nothing less for you, and so when I do cook for you, It has to be perfect, it has to have meaning, feeling, love, all inside." He held her hands tightly. "If there's something you don't prefer in it, then no matter how much you like the rest, that piece ways down the dish." Sima groaned lightly. "That means I've been feeding you weight'd down love, something I refuse to do!" Sima spoke seriously, despite a small playful look in his eyes. "As long as you promise to tell me everything from now on, then I can promise you you'll have my best cooking, nothing less.." Sima didn't like the fact that he was feeding her 'weighed down' food. He had hoped that Lilith understood his words anyways.
"Why don't we get ready to go look for places then?" Sima felt that maybe it was ok to get out of the house soon, they had been in it for 1-2 days practically. Although Sima enjoyed this time with her, he would also enjoy time with her doing other things. He knew if they stayed in the house he would be tempted to do more with her, and, he still felt that she felt perhaps he wasn't genuine, not someone that loved her. That was something he made sure to prove to her was true, even if this thought was incorrect in his mind.

She looked up at him smiling. She was glad he wasn't angry. I promise to tell you from now on. And they fact you would even think of it as "weighed down love" makes me love you a little more. She loved how persistent he was in wanting to make her happy. It gave her a warm feeling in her chest, and a flutter in her abdomen.
That sounds wonderful. She was secretly ecstatic that he was allowing her to be so involved in this. She absolutely loved that she was able to help in anyway, from picking out a spot with him, to co-signing and helping pay. She squeezed his hand one more time, before leaning in and kissing the top of it. She got up and ran her hand through his hair as she passed by, heading back towards the bed. She wasn't going to change, she just wanted to find her shoes. They'd gotten thrown around the night before, and now she needed to hunt them down before they left for the day.
She second guessed her outfit, unsure as to if they would be coming home before going out to dinner. If not, she wanted to look far more presentable than this plain dress. She surrendered in her search for shoes for a moment to get dressed again, pulling a burgundy dress out of the closet. It had a tight fitting bodice, laced with a lighter shade of red. The skirt flared at her hips, but was hemmed just below her knees. She knew it was cold, but she was running out of nice dresses after being attacked by a wolf, and stabbed by strangers. Aside from her ball dress that she'd worn to the festival-which was too fancy- this was the nicest thing she now owned.
Lilith found her boots, and sat on the bed, beginning to lace them up.

SIma looked at her curiously, watching her leave. When he had done so he cleaned anything left over still. He then headed to the bedroom, oblivious if Lilith was changing in there or not. He began to make the bed, cleaning up any clothes he might of left on the ground, and then began making the bed. After he finished this he peered under the bed, grabbing the book he had taken from the library. "You can read this, if you want.." Sima tossed the book on the freshly made bed. He then returned to the kitchen, checking the cabinet, making sure that everything was properly put together. He then headed back into the bedroom, looking at Lilith tie her boots up. "Nice legs, " He spoke absent minded, with a tone of play fullness. It wasn't as if he could see most of her legs, but it was just the first thing that came to mind for him.
"I like your dress, " He added to that, noticing the colors she chose. Sima reached his hand out, as if waiting for her to take it. Upon doing so, he would walk them to the door, where he would then open it for Lilith.

Lilith looked over at the book, and smiled, recognizing it. She finished lacing her boots, and stood. Oh, um, thank you She blushed, looking down at how the dress formed to her. Her mind flashed to the night before, where he'd liked a tad more than her legs, and her face heated instantly, turning a few shades darker than the dress. She cleared her throat, and pushed her hair up with her hands, rummaging in the closet for a ribbon to keep it there. She was tired of pushing it away.
Once that was done, she walked over to Sima, not taking his arm, but instead going up on her tip toes and kissing him. She had had the random urge after her thoughts from before. Lilith pulled away and found her dagger in the closet as well, Carefully sliding farther into her boot than usual, her dress not long enough to cover the hilt and hide it. She walked over to Sima again, and took his hand in her, smiling up at him fondly. Today would be a good day.

Sima looked at Lilith as he easily picked out how nervous she became. When she kissed him so quickly, he had to stop her for a moment. Moving his hand from hers to grab a hold of her waist. He pulled her closer, and kissed her on the lips. It was more passionate then a simple 2 second kiss. After a moment, he let go of her waist, and grabbed a hold of her hand once again. "Let's have fun!" Sima smiled brightly. Sima headed out the door, stopping for a second to let Lilith lock the door. "You know, since we do live together, maybe I should get a key too?" Sima doubted he would be returning home without her, or be split up from her, but on the odd time it could happen, perhaps that would be appropriate. Sima looked into her eyes briefly, but what he thought of startled him. His hand trembled only slightly, as he recovered. He huffed momentarily, an easy sign to tell if something was bothering him. However, he did play this off quite well, afterward.
"Hey Lilith, I was just wondering.." He sighed lightly. "How did they treat you, at that orphanage." In Sima's time, in his home. Orphanages were horrible, it was a hardship that he felt no one should go through. In truth, he compared the orphanage with the time he was captured by humans. Sima didn't really understand what an establishment for orphans was meant to do, other than to keep them in one place. He compared it with the time he was captured by humans, because he was a slave. Sima was an extraction, he was chained. They would chain him by slamming metal rods through cuff like devices. The rods would pass through his hands, cuffing them together, and through his feet. They replaced the spikes every night, it was something about that spikes that kept his powers at bay.
He was an extraction when caught, he was a part of a show, a show meant to show humans can overcome demons. It was horrible, each and everyone one of those humans looked at him with fear, but then with pride. As if they were comfortable staring at a caged beast forced to take a beating. He compared this with orphanages because he felt that they were similar, they were places that people went to if they had no family. This place appeared to be safe, with food, water, and shelter, but only damaged you.

She quite enjoyed being pulled back against him, the feel of his lips against hers in a more passionate manner than before. His hands at her waist sent light shivers through her veins, and it was over all too soon, though the connection wasn't lost, as he grabbed ahold of her hand. No matter when, or how he touched her, it sent a fire through her, like all of her nerve endings were exploding. When his touch left her, the spot he had been tingled, every time. It was as though her body reacted to his, without being told to. Sima's excitement was contagious, and she nodded in agreement. Upon him asking for his own key, she felt stupid for not giving him one before. Lilith let go of his hand- though she really didn't want to- and walked around to the side of her house, reaching up to a specific tree branch and untying a hidden string with a key dangling from it. She returned to Sima and took his hand, dropping the key in it, and closing his fingers over it. She looked up at him, her eyes smiling.
You are right, I should have given you this far sooner. We do live together... I guess it never fully occurred to me, because of how impromptu it all began. She reached up, kissing his cheek. But I wouldn't have it any other way. She pulled away, taking his other hand in hers, and they began to walk. She hadn't noticed his moment of hesitancy or nervousness, too busy untying the key. When he asked her a question of her past, she looked at him curiously, uncertain as to what brought this on. She hadn't a clue as to what went on in his head, how he related her orphanage to his tortured past.
How did they treat me... Well, most people were void of any emotion towards me, paid me no mind- I didn't mind them... But some were mean, poking at my ears, making fun of the colour of my eyes. There it wasn't okay to be weird for some reason, though a moon elf wasn't the most supernatural race there, but for some reason it made me the odd one out. Many of them teased me, well all except the ones that just ignored me... It wasn't a pleasant experience to say the least. Even the adults, they were off as well. They acted as though I were fragile, because of my parents, but at the same time, expected so much of me, to be the bigger person in so many situations, to never act out, talk back or stand up for myself. After a few years I simply didn't. It was easier that way. She sighed, her eyes staring ahead, yet looking right through everything, into her past.
There was one person though. My only fond memory of being there. There was this boy, sweetest boy I'd ever met. He was just younger than me. He moved in shortly after me, and immediately tried to protect me, shield me from so many types of hurt and words. We became best friends. I trusted him more than anyone in my life- until I met you of course... I haven't seen him in - oh what is it now... five years? When I left at 16, we promised to stay in touch, but I never heard from him. I learned he left shortly after I did. So now, I have no idea where or who he is. But out of everything there, he's the only thing worth remembering. Lilith blinked, coming back to the present, and looked at Sima with a sad smile. She didn't relive her past anymore, thanks to him, and it felt nice to talk about. She hadn't thought or spoken of Dimitri in years, it was a nice revelation at least.
Lilith squeezed Sima's hand and continued on their way, as though nothing she had said should affect him negatively. She'd come to terms with it years ago.

Sima looked at Lilith curiously, he wasn't quite sure what to say to all of that. Sima didn't want to respond by telling her he knows what it feels like. He didn't want to burden her with his past. He looked down at the key she so casually dropped into his hand. He placed it into his pocket, his eyes glancing over to how Lilith held his hand now. He could remember the torture that he was put through, the only thing he had to compare to an orphanage. "Don't get to close to the Monster! "Horrible creature, " "Glad someone stopped it, just wish they killed it." Sima only compared the harsh words of his torture, feeling that Lilith's was roughly the same. Just thinking about that put a bad feeling into his stomach. "I'm just glad that your with me now, Lilith." Sima began walking with her, heading around the district and looking for spots that could be appropriate.
After about twenty minutes, when they had gotten quite far from the house, Sima was stopped. His heart beat faster and faster, he could have sworn he had a heart attack. His hands shook uncontrollable as he smelled something in the not too far distance. "Lilith, I.." He couldn't explain what he was smelling, nor did he want to explain this to her. It would only make things complicated. He began to jog, following the scent he picked up. "Follow me Lilith," Sima thought that figuring out what this was, was better than to explain his actions. A few minutes of taking turns he found himself towards that of a dead end alley way. He walked forward, letting go of Lilith's hands to search for what he was smelling.
He walked a good distance, stopping near the end of the alley. His eyes looked down to meet the source of the scent that irritated him so much, or more or less, scared him. He bent down, picking up the source. "It's nothing," Sima groaned sitting on the ground exhausted. All that worry for nothing.

As they wandered, Lilith pointed out various options through the district. If they found nothing here, there was always other districts, is what she kept telling him. She didn't let go of his hand until he pulled her along, telling her to follow him abruptly. Without a word she followed, feeling like she shouldn't break his concentration or anything. When he dropped her hand and headed down the ally, she felt her stomach drop, like a pit of worry formed inside her. She ran after him, and kneeled beside him.
What was that about? Not letting on about her worry.

Sima looked at Lilith, getting up from where he was crouched. "It wasn't anything, I just thought I smelled something familiar." Sima stood and began walking over to Lilith. "Don't worry about it, It seems to be nothing.." Sima reached his hand out to Lilith's about to grab hers once again within his own. Sima walked out of the alleyway abd headed back out into the crowd. He sighed lightly, "Sorry about that. " He responded lightly, continuing on their walk to find the most appropriate spot for the restaurant. "Lilith, are you sure you even want to do this?" Sima asked her these questions because he was slightly afraid, afraid that she may leave one day. This would lead to some odd implications over the restaurant, but he knew if something like that happened he would give it to her.
"I just, I mean it's a big step, more so then just simply moving in together, I know I forced that one, but.. We will actually be holding land, food, tables, everything together. Before it was all yours, but now, in the restaurant, it's ours. This means that, if we were to ever split, then things could get complicated." Sima scratched the back of his head nervously. "I love you, but I'm your first anything remember? I just, the odds aren't in my favor.." Sima sadly admitted what he felt about it, it was true. Sima was her first, that meant she didn't really know her preferences, and could find out she didn't like Sima a bit down the road. It was something he didn't want to feel, heartbroken, despite that, it would make things even worse by them actually owning property together. Sima was fine with it of course, but he wanted to alert Lilith to all the things he felt she should know.

She took his hand grateful to be out of the ally. Of course I do! Sima, yes, you are my first everything... But I have liked people before. Not this strongly- obviously- but I know what it's like to like someone. You are the first person I've actually been with, but I don't know why the odds couldn't be in your favour. We're not teenagers, or children. We're grown adults... But... if we were to, well, split up... Don't think for a second I would take this away from you. I'm helping you because I want you to achieve your dream. Believe it or not, it's not because I love you. This is for you. She squeezed his hand and glanced up at him as they walked. Her eyes filled with the emotion her words had just portrayed.
She stopped them now, and turned him to face the building they stood in front of. It was a decent size, not to big, not to small. It was fairly well built on the outside, a stone exterior and arched doorway. It could visually use some work, that was for sure, but the over all build of it was sound. She had no idea what the beige building looked like on the inside, but the outside could definitely be worked with- if he chose too. This was just an option. The building also had a large window on the left side of the door, but it was too dusty to see through completely. Just a dark window.
I've seen this place a lot, never been inside though. It's been vacant for years now...

Sima heard her spiel, and for once he could say he was speechless. He still found his odds quite low, that they would be 'together for ever' but that wasn't going to sway him from trying to do just that. Sima kept his mouth shut for the time being, he felt weak in a way. He was worried about something he more than not never cared about. He knew it was only because he didn't want Lilith to leave him, but it was only the second day. Sima knew he worried far too much about these things, but, because of what he's been through, it was hard to blame him for it. Sima sighed, looking at her resolve in the situation. "I can't say that recently I've done anything without love. I put love into everything I do, even more so with you."
That was the last Sima was going to throw on the subject, he felt that Lilith would be around him for a while anyways, and he had a bit to wait before he was ready to ask her to spend the rest of her life with him. Still, the statistics said he had a 75% chance of failing, but he would try regardless, because that was what his heart would tell him, at least in the future anyways.

I'm putting love into this as well you know- how could I not? But I'm not doing it because I love you. I planned on helping you as soon as I heard about it. Call me crazy I guess She shrugged and gestured once more to the building before them, nervous that he wouldn't like it.
So.... What do you think? It would need some fixing, but it would be do able I think! She was trying to sell it, but would understand if he didn't want it. This was his dream, and it needed to be perfect. She waited anxiously, holding his hand and glancing back and forth from Sima to the building.
It's just an option though, so yeah. She let out a small nervous laugh and pushed some loose hair from her face.
