Lilith listened carefully, understanding it all, and feeling the same way. She sipped her wine and glanced at him.
What if we got paired together? I heard the Goddess ships you off on a date of her choosing. What do you think would happen? She simply liked imagining at this point, all of the different romantic and fun options that they could go through. It was fun and kept her mind occupied. She did however, glance up at his last comment.
Of course I would! Sima, trust is so important to me, as is telling the truth.. I could never lie to you about someone so important, as I know you would tell me. She reached across the table once more and held his hand. You would tell me, right?

Sima looked at her curiously. She would tell him if she no longer had feeling, in the other case. Sima sighed lightly when she held onto his hand. He perhaps brought this up. "I won't have the opportunity to tell you, unless someone in this world has the ability to resurrect the dead, from another world." Sima held her hand tightly. "In other words, there is no one on this earth more important than you, and I don't think there will ever will be someone important enough to pull me away from you."
Sima drank his wine, releasing her hand to do so. He wasn't sure why he felt so boldly tonight. The waiter soon returned with the two meals. "Here you are Sirhum.. "[/b] He placed two plates down, tempura, and steak. "Maddehum.." He placed down Lilith's plate. "Please enjore meals M'kay?" He left abruptly, not wanting to spoil and 'mood' going on around the dinner.

Lilith smiles, blushing down at her drink retracting her hand back into her lap when he released it. He made her feel so special, though she was not blind to his past. She was quite aware of the ring he wore around his neck, reminding him of what he had lost. But she was not at all bothered by it. Sure, it made her sad so think of him sad, but there was no jealousy, no pain. Sima had a past of loosing people to death, including a family he loved. How could she be jealous over someone who no longer lived, but haunted him? That wouldn't be fair to either of them.
Lilith took a sip, and put the glass down upon the arrival of their food, smiling at the waiter without a thought, forgetting how he previously acted. Something about this night was giving her intensive butterflies.
So... when we're done here, would you like to go to the edge of the forest, by our house, and see if our constellations are anything like the ones where you're from? There was something so light about the way she spoke, as if she were floating in the air. She had a very happy feeling about how this night would end, shocking herself entirely that she would look forward to such behaviour, but she didn't regret it at all. There was something so romantic about the way they treated each other, giving her a permeant fluttery feeling.

Sima looked at her reaction, glad that she took his words the way she always seemed to do. Sima did not think he was the best worded person in the world, but he tried his best to get his thoughts across correctly. "I don't mind, It's not a big deal." to be honest Sima didn't want to stay up too late tonight, he liked to be at home with Lilith, he enjoyed spending time else where too, however home was safest. Sima raised an eyebrow at her, a smile coming across his face at her words. It was something so little, that she probably had say all along, but just noticing it made him feel better. It was when she referred to 'her' home as 'ours' instead. This made him think that perhaps he had a place in her life for much longer than he anticipated.
"I'm fine with whatever comes naturally, " Sima responded. "Albeit, stargazing, relaxing, sleeping, or even jogging." Sima did prefer to go home, but he didn't mind if they stayed out a bit longer. Sima looked down at his plates for the first time, deciding to start strong. He began cutting his steak into small squares, doing this since they were in a fancier establish, not to look like the bore of a man he sometimes ended up being. After completing this task he began to eat them one by one. He did finish it rather quickly, like most of the time.
"It's not bad.." Sima added, however un-realizing that he had picked up some attention with that line. "Not bad URHUM.." The waiter spoke angrily. Sima groaned lightly, the first time showing distaste for this waiter, but also that he could have sworn he left. "You think you could do betturhum.." Sima yawned. "Your a waiter, not a chef. It's not like you personally cooked the food, so you shouldn't be so upset about it.." Sima liked the food, he was just stating that it was 'good' not superb.
"Well urhum.." Sima sighed. "Well, urhum, nothing, urhum, can we please enjoy our meals? URHUM!" The waiter glared at Sima's mockery of his accent. "I see.." The waiter left abruptly.

Lilith nodded, hoping the sky would be clear enough when they got home. She looked at her food, and felt her stomach demand she start eating. It tasted wonderful- nothing like the food Sima had cooked for her, but still very well done. By the time she was half done, she put her fork down to take a sip of wine, noticing that Sima was already done. Her eyes widened, though she should be surprised by him. She was however, surprised by the waiter, once more scaring her out of her skin. Hadn't he left already?
Lilith put down her wine as she watched the encounter between the two, trying her very best not to laugh. She hadn't expected Sima to have an outburst as he had, but it had served as comedic relief for her, and she needed it. When the waiter was gone, Lilith snorted out a laugh, her hand overing her mouth as she tried not to double over.
Well that was fun. She cleared her throat and shook her head, picking up her fork to finish eating.

Sima glared at her, realizing she found his reaction to the waiter comical. "As long as your having fun," He responded absent mindedly, not really sure of what else to say. He finished the steak so quickly he decided to slow down a bit on the tempura. "Do you like it?" Sima asked curiously, wondering what exactly she ordered, forgetting what it was entirely.
"When we are done here, I'm sure the stars will be out to meet our eyes." Sima had faith they would be, they didn't need a special spot to see them anyways, and he was contempt with looking at them while they walked. "I used to love jumping as high as I can," Sima explained. "Back in my world, it was almost like I had no boundaries. I wanted to go higher and higher, especially on clear nights." Sima smiled remembering some of the few happy memories.
"There was no one telling me I was different, and, it helped me get to my destination quicker. But when the moon was out, it almost looked like it was watching over me" When Sima said he jumped, he quickly realized the better word would be leap. He did show some small leaps, when defending Lilith against the slave traders, small to him at least, so these leaps he spoke of was what he used to travel then. He could get extremely high, and go for huge distances. He was ashamed that he could no longer do that to the full extent.

Lilith ignored his glare, choosing to not be offended by it, and continued eating, nodding her approval to him as her mouth was full.
I'm sure they will be... But I think we should sit outside the house for a short while, and look at them. She didn't know why she was so determined to do this, but she wouldn't let it go. She smiled as he spoke of the freedom he'd had in his world. She loved watching him speak of his world, it gave a light to his eyes that wasn't often there. She'd never ask him to become a demon for her, but she admitted to herself it would be a wondrous site, to see him leap around Nova. It must feel like flying... She shook her head, taking herself out of those thoughts.
You could always do that here... I doubt people would mind at night... But as long as you always come back to the ground, where I am, I don't mind what you do. She smiled, and finished her wine, nearly done her food.

Sima was curious when she spoke, allowing him in a way to once again do that here. Sima shook his head. "You don't understand, I can't." He didn't wish to explain anymore then that. Sima looked at his now empty plate with a smile. He chuckled. "Let's not get dessert here, let's make our own, together!" Sima was pretty happy with that idea, because he knew what Lilith liked. He could make something different, something she would enjoy. More or less a dessert including strawberries. "Don't worry, we will include strawberries! Sima placed his fork and knife neatly on top of the plate. Eventually the waiter did come along taking the plate away, unsure if Lilith was finished her plate he continued off and left without saying a word.
Sima sat there playing with his fingers waiting for some sort of reply. He gradually became more intrigued in the hue of Lilith's eyes. He was both start struck, and terrified when he looked into them. Not only was he reminded of the person he was with before, but it also filled him with warmth. It was an odd feeling to explain, it was filled with pleasure, fear, love. A mix of all these feelings that confused him, yet despite this he couldn't help but look into her eyes.

She looked at him curiously when he said he couldn't. It was clear by his tone he didn't want to elaborate, so she looked down and ate her food instead, almost finished. She understood that there were some things he wished to keep to himself, about his past, his demon side, but she wished he would allow her to know, to understand. Or at least try to. Hadn't she made it clear she wasn't going anywhere?
She nodded when he suggest they make desert when they get home, not wishing to order it here, and smiled softly at the mention of strawberries. She was working on her mind, trying to push her questions and bothers out of her thoughts, at least for now, and just enjoy this time. But there were so many things he'd kept silent about, times when she didn't push, and they were starting to add up. Lilith sighed and finished her food not long after the waiter left, so they'd have to wait again.
Lilith had been so focused on clearing her mind to seem and feel happy, that she'd been oblivious to him gazing at her, until now. she looked up from her empty plate and caught his eyes with hers, falling hard into the ocean of blue. She lost everything she wanted to say, everything she was thinking, as she looked into his eyes.

Sima looked away from her eyes as she noticed him gazing into hers. He whistled innocently as if he was doing something wrong. He looked at Lilith once again when the receipt came by with the price. He reached for it rather quickly, not wanting Lilith to even suggest paying. He looked at the price, expensive, like he assumed. He knew that they were making a killing on every customer, at least, the way he prepared his food, if he was to charge prices like this, he would be making a killing. Sima could prepared things expertly, you would have swore that AA beef was AAA. Sima felt that the way people graded certain foods were incorrect, and he graded them with his nose. If it was tough beef, he tenderized it. It was almost that simple, really. Sima waved for the waiter and he approached rather hesistantly.
"Yes surhum.."
"I'd like to pay please,"
"Your total~"
Sima cut him off by dropping some coins in his hand. The waiter counted and nodded, writing another receipt confirming that they actually paid.

Lilith looked down, blushing furiously. Her breath felt like it had been knocked out of her when she looked into his eyes. What was that? It felt like there was nothing but him there, not even her. It was like he was all around her, and she loved the warmth it brought to her. She glanced up at the waiter, noticing Sima swipe the check, and pay. She didn't contest him, not having the will in her after what just happened in her mind. It was like everything fell out of her in that moment. She felt exposed, but she didn't mind- it was to him.
She stood when he did, aiming to leave the building and head home. Lilith remained completely silent, not having the words. She'd looked into his eyes many times before, but she couldn't place the experience she'd just had.

Sima grabbed a hold of herh and getting ready to lead her out of the building and get ready to head home. It was already getting rather dark now, the streets being light by the dim light of candles from within homes, emanating out of the windows and cascading across the stone walkways. Sma held her hand silently for a moment but then began to speak. "Lilith, " Sima sighed lightly, exhaling out anything that made him feel nervous. "I want to thank you." He stopped for a moment to elaborate. "I mean, for helping me purchase the restaurant. It's extremely difficult starting all over in a word that is not your own, and with.. with you it seems quite easy." He almost admitted to her something that he promised he wouldn't, how much she actually meant to him. "I'm able to do things now, with you, that I swore I wouldn't be able to with anyone for another century." Sima spoke in long terms because he used to have such a large lifespan.
"I made a promise to my wife, roughly before she, before she 'ended' our marriage. I thought I regretted that promise, at least until you showed up." That was all Sima was willing to tell her at that point, and he continued to walk abruptly afterwards. That was Lilith's present to her help, even if she did not understand what he meant behind those words. Sima continued walking until he made it to the door of the house. He pulled out his key and unlocked it. It seemed after he explained this 'promise' to Lilith their was a slight weight to the way he moved. It was almost as if he regretted telling her that, and it weighted on his mind. After opening the door he entered the almost pitch black house.
Sima didn't really need light, using his nose to get around, but he forgot that perhaps Lilith needed the light to walk around, it was something rather simple he seemed to overlook.

She didn't follow him inside. She was to frustrated. She knew he meant something nice, something sweet by his words, but they only proved her point before. She knew there were things she didn't need to know, things he wanted to keep in his past- the got that. But bringing things up and stopping half way- it got frustrating. Instead of following him in, she left the door open, not going in at all, and walked around to the back of the house, sitting in front of an old tree that lived there. She'd loved coming back here- the branches parted in the perfect way, that she could look up to a perfect view of the nights sky. She knew it wouldn't take Sima more than a minute or so to know where she was and come check, but she needed that minute to calm down. He didn't deserve her anger. She wouldn't stay angry- she just didn't like half comments that only confused her- cute or not. She could take a lot, she could refrain from pushing, but dangling them in front of her face was too much.
Lilith dropped her head into her lap and shook it for a moment, trying to shake out the thoughts. She looked back at the stars, almost pleading for an answer. She found it funny, Sima had gone inside, seeming to forget their plan to watch the stars at all. She loved this man, but he frustrated her.

Sima, instead of completely chasing after Lilith, like he so badly wanted to. Instead, he began preparing something. Sima wasn't always good with words, but sometimes words weren't needed right? He pulled out some strawberries, when he was shopping he made sure to supply an ample amount of them. Sima cut the green tops off the strawberries and cut them each strawberry into 4's. He took about half of them and put them back into the bowl. He then began to mash them, adding a bit of sugar, and then looking once again into the cupboard. He pulled out a small tray that had a closed top, he opened and a white poweder was inside. Similar to sugar in appearance, but nothing like it in taste. He added that too the strawberry mush, and began mixing it thoroughly. He pulled out a pan and threw the mixed mush into a pan. He made sure the heat was quite low. While it was heating he began to stir it, only stopping in brief intervals to pull out more dishes.
He pulled out another bowl, and some flour, eggs, and a few other ingredients. It was as if he was doing all of this off of instinct. He mixed the ingredients to make a cake, using soft pants to form 2 small cakes. He threw them in the oven, and then pulled off the strawberry mush from the stove in order to cool. He then walked outside, following the scent trail Lilith had left.
He looked at her blankly. "What's wrong?"

Lilith remained seated by her tree, her head leaning against the trunk, her hair scattered around her, strands surrounding her. In the pale of the moonlight, her hair seemed to actually shine, giving off a soft glow, as the platinum like colour, reflected the light from the moon. Her eyes didn't remain open the entire time, closing here and there to think to herself, and opening to gaze at the stars as she'd wanted to. There was no sign of Sima, so perhaps she'd been wrong about him coming to get her- or perhaps she'd been wrong about him noticing she was gone at all. No, she wouldn't think that way- she knew he was aware of her presence in the backyard, yet for whatever reason he remained inside. It was probably for the best.
Lilith let out a sigh, crossing her arms against her knees as she leaned forward, resting her chin on them. She loved Sima, with every fibre of her being, though she still didn't know how this happened. But there were so many things she didn't understand, and she wanted to badly to be okay with it. As she thought, tears welled around her eyes, but she wiped them away before they got the chance to fall. And the sound of footsteps coming towards her, she leaned her her back into the tree, glancing over at the man, she could barely see him in the dark.
Nothing. I'm fine. She spoke softly, looking back up at the sky. It wasn't fair to him to burden him with troubles he couldn't help.
