Both @lilith and Sima Oratio would feel a spinning sensation that would make them slightly dizzy, but only for a second. As the feeling fades, they would find themselves in an entirely new area. The quiet orchard is empty except for the two of them. They would be surrounded by pear trees and redcurrants, coming into season. In front of them, there would be a trail of rose petals leading to a picnic blanket and basket. Two bottles of wine and wine glasses would already be set out on the blanket. The basket would contain stuffed dates, figs, chocolate, soft cheese, and crackers. In addition, there would be an empty basket for picking fruits in the orchard as well as small book of romantic poetry.

Lilith felt something change around her, causing her head to spin, and she began to panic, not having a clue as to what was going on. By the time she'd regained her balance and opened her eyes, she was no longer in a place she recognized, but was still grasping on to Sima's hand. Was this part of the festival? Lilith took in her surroundings, admiring the garden, trees and fruit, her eyes landing last, on the rose petals leading to a picnic arrangement. A smile spread on her face, and she pointed for Sima to look.
This looks wonderful... Sima, come on! She tugged on his arms, willing him to walk with her to the blanket and enjoy the sun, the beginning of spring.

Sima wasn't quite sure what was going on. This was certainly different, and he didn't often like the feeling of being dizzy. When he finally was able to realize what was going on, figuring it all out simply by the tug of Lilith on his arm. "Wha..?" Sima asked curiously, only getting excited when his nose picked up a familiar scent. Sima let go of Lilith's hand and darted towards the picnic basket. He dug into it rather quickly finding what was tickling his fancy. "Soft Cheese!" Sima shouted rather happily as he dug into the basket rather quickly eating as much as possible. After a minute or two he stopped briefly.
He looked up at Lilith absent mindedly. "Come sit?"

Lilith released his hand, watching him dart to the basket, pulling out cheese quite happy with himself. She couldn't help but smile and laugh, walking after him. She sat when he looked up at her, only causing her to laugh more- the look on his face was adorable.
She was silently thanking the Goddess for pairing them together, loving that this was working so well between them. Hey Siiiiiimmmaaaaa? Are there any strawberries in the basket? She didn't take it from him, as he seemed to enthralled by the cheese.

Sima looked up at Lilith curiously when she asked for strawberries. He chewed the cheese that occupied his mouth currently. He wasn't quite sure if their were strawberries in here. "I don't think that their are any strawberries in here.. If you'd like i can go find you some." Sima offered to search the area for strawberries for her, but perhaps he was too enticed by the cheese to notice any strawberries that may lay dormant in the basket, hidden from his notice. Sima looked at her, patting the ground next to him. "Come sit, " Sima smiled. "You can't back out now, your my match!" Sima laughed happily, glad that she was the one who was chosen for this.
Sima made pulled the basket in front of him, letting himself slow down on the cheese. "Why don't you choose something? Maybe theirs something you like just as much, you never know unless you try." Sima added curiously. He stretched his feet out, looking at the basket blankly, but returning his focus to Lilth. "So does this mean.. " He huffed lightly. "Does this mean we are soul mates?" He looked waiting for her response blankly.

Lilith shrugged, not minding if there wasn't as she was simply curious. She didn't want him to leave their picnic, so she declined his offer to find some. She was perfectly happy with what they had. She blushed furiously at his gesture, scooted closer to him to lean on his shoulder for a moment before looking into his eyes.
I wouldn't dream of backing out. Besides! You have me to thank for us being here at all. I mean, if I hadn't signed you up... She smiled and stuck out her tongue, before kissing his nose. She liked doing that, she felt cute, but she would stop if he found it odd.
She took the basket from him at his request and sorted through it, finding various fruits- no strawberries- some buns, more cheese, and oh? Lilith pulled the bars out of the back, grinning.
Sima... Chocolate. She spoke softly, quite happy with her discovery. It wasn't better than strawberries, but it was quite the substitute. She opened one and took the smallest of bites, savouring the taste. Chocolate wasn't cheap, so she rarely got it. She put it back in the basket and looked for the wine glasses, and bottle, she'd seen before. She handed the bottle to Sima, not wanting to make a fool of herself, but froze when he spoke. So does this mean... Does this mean we are soul mates? It was true he didn't know how the Gods and Goddess worked in this world, and would no doubt have questions such as this, but she wasn't expecting that.
Her face became flushed, and she fumbled with the bottle, dropping it in his lap, and almost dropped the glasses. Um-um... I-I don't know. Um. M-Maybe? She was at a loss for words. She knew what she wanted, but she didn't know if that was really the truth.
I mean, I know I love you... A-and, I want to be with you. F-for as long as p-p-possible.... She put the glasses down and her face fell into her hands. She'd never acted so nervous around Sima, not like this. She was stuttering over nearly every word, barely able to make out a sentence. She did know what she wanted, even if it seemed crazy- she loved Sima, and had a gut feeling that this was right. But no one knew what the future held... how was she to answer that, without making promises she had no way of knowing if she could keep? If she could, she'd make him every promise, to stay with him, and everything else she could, but she didn't want to take the chance that something would happen. It wouldn't be fair.

Sima moved slightly farther away from Lilith. Her words at first were enticing. She made him feel happy. But the more he thought of what she said the worse it made him feel. Sima knew that she should be acting like this on such a serious question. However, the shake in her voice planted seeds of negative thoughts in his mind. He couldn't help it, he had lived a whole life worried, and his worry only festered the more entangled, the more involved he was with a person. It was only natural for him to worry this much over something so simple. He tried not to make it show, but for him, it was like experiencing a solar eclipse. Something that made him worry so much it affected the way he spoke to others. "Lilith, I uhm.." Sima's heart beat ever so faster only by speaking. Why did Lilith make him worry so much? He couldn't explain this feeling he had in his gut, the feeling of rejection, not entirely from Lilith, but a rejection of her true feelings.
Sima didn't belong in this world, he didn't belong with Lilith, he was truly alone. Despite all the feelings he displayed towards Lilith their was still a giant elephant that Sima just couldn't remove. The devastation that ruined his heart previously. It had ruined his heart in such a way, a way that made it almost impossible for him to trust someone romantically. It was a plague, he couldn't help but be worried over minor things. Her stuttering only made him feel that perhaps, she was not so sure of herself. He knew this was all a figment of his imagination, but it still worried him. He couldn't help but feel absolutely horrid at the thought of once again being alone, alone without anyone their to be with him. This thought drove him mad all the time, and he knew, even if Lilith did not, that she could destroy Sima with a single sentence, a power many men had searched for, the power to destroy a monster with nothing but words and emotion.
"Lilith.." Sima sighed lightly. "Your amazing, and I can say that I truly do love you." Sima paused for a moment. "Because of this, I can say, you absolutely terrify me, and I'm trying my absolute hardest to trust you." For a moment it seemed like he was going to cry. "I know without trust a relationship can break quite easily, but, it's hard to trust when your so easily broken.." Despite the anger Sima could have, the strength, the animal like outbursts, he was just as weak as Lilith. "Everyone I ever trusted this way, used that leverage to hurt me." "I just want to tell you, i'm trying my best. I know nothing that happened to me in the best is related with you, but it does not make me any less worried.
"I have a feeling you know exactly what I mean Lilith, I just wanted to say this because I don't want you to think because I don't always give you my trust our relationship isn't going well. I wouldn't change our relationship for anything, and I only hope you can find a way to accept me, even if I'm not always trusting. And I wanted to tell you.. there literally is, no one else, I trust more then you."
Sima knew that if he spoke all of his feelings to Lilith, she would probably feel rather responsibly. She was his family, his friends, and his partner. He had nothing else in this world, and admitting that to her would only make her feel bad if things did go south. Sima knew that he would never be able to tell her the sad fact that, she was all he had, and he wasn't sure if he could return to wondering the world alone without her. He couldn't quite remember what brought this train of thought.

Lilith looked at his face, her own completion turning pale as she watched his reaction. She'd offended him? But how? The area around her eyes turned red as she held back tears and she looked down, away from his face as he spoke. She could tell her was upset, and now she was racking her brain to figure out what she'd done wrong. She heard him call her amazing, say he loved her, and at the sound of him saying her terrified her, her head snapped up and she caught his eyes, mortified. How could she possibly scare him? Her, of all people. The girl who hid in her books, barely spoke above a whisper half the time, drew portraits of random people, never ventured to new things, and only wanted to help him.
You don't trust me..? It was barely a whisper, spoken while he still explained himself, looking up to see his torn face, on the brink of tears, shattering her thoughts. She never wanted to see him that way, so... broken. She listened to his words now, her eyes gleaming, the light of purple shinning into his, scared for what he was to say next. They had been paired together because the Goddess thought them to be true together. Did that upset Sima? Was this not going as well as she'd thought? So many negative things ran through her mind before he spoke again.
His next words made her want to reach out and hold, take away his pain, make him feel better. But she couldn't and she knew that, so she remained still, her eyes becoming blurry with water, that she refused to let fall. He still believed, deep down, somewhere, that Lilith intended to hurt him, to betray him. She knew it wasn't his fault, that he was trained to think that way after so many years, but it still stung. She'd never do that, but she knew no matter how many times she repeated it to him, it wouldn't change his fears.
I know you're trying... Thank you for trying. Her words were cracked, her voice failing her, revealing how she felt inside, and she scolded herself for being this weak. His worry was natural, she had to tell herself that, but it was only normal that she would feel discouraged after being told that he could never fully trust her... it could still hurt. His next words sent her over the edge, because she did know, and he seemed to know her thoughts exactly, picking up where she felt self conscious, how she worried that she was doing something wrong, and that she would lose him- thats where she thought this conversation was headed, so his last few words made her collapse, falling into his chest, and gripping onto him. She couldn't hold in her tears, though there weren't many. He scared her, she thought so many bad things in such a short time span. She knew, that even if he never trusted her completely, she would never stop fighting for that last bit of trust. He was all she had.

Sima knew that Lilith was going take the words slightly harshly, and because of that he was extra careful, and listening, wanting to hear any mumble, or sound, that she made. His heart sank as he heard her words. "You don't trust me?.." He turned to face her immediately, holding her arms at her side, almost in a way to force her to look into her eys. "I never said I didn't trust you! I trust you, a lot, a lot more than I trust anyone else." Sima did trust her, however, he had a history of his trust being broken. Sima was drowned by his own father, so, he felt that even trusting love ones a challenge. So, if anyone was to consider having his trust, Lilith would be it. Sure he didn't trust her with everything, but much more than anyone else in this world. Was that not enough trust for her? Sima would feel a bit pushed if she kept pushing about this trust issue, but he did love Lilith, so there was a chance he could give in.
However, letting Lilith have her way, and letting her know everything about him, was not the same as him actually trusting her, and telling her because he wanted to.

She remained where she was, sobbing lightly into his chest. What a date this had turned out to be- barely 10 minutes in and she was crying her eyes out into the man she loved. She began to second guess if she Goddess had chosen right, but stopped herself immediately. This meant nothing really, things like this happened- it didn't need to affect how she saw him, or their overall relationship. They would be okay. She heard his voice not to far from her ears, reassure her that he trusted her, more than anyone else. She knew there would never be a "I trust you completely," so she felt rather bad with how she trusted him. Without pulling away, she spoke.
I know, that we are under different circumstances, but I want you to know, that I trust you with my life... She spoke softly, with a shake in her voice, and it made her feel guilty.

Sima looked at her, pulling her closer as she spoke of trusting him with her life. "As I with mine, had I not, I doubt I would ever let you use magic on me." This was not meant to console her, but rather an absent minded response to her words. It was something he was surprised by, he hated how much power mages could hold. He knew that he had a surprising amount himself, but he never asked for it. He tried for years to banish most of it, to be less of a monster than he was. Sima got his wish granted when he came to Teair, at least most of it, but it seemed to come at great cost.
He breathed deeply trying to figure out exactly what they would do here, on this special 'date' that the 'gods' have chosen for them. "I don't think I really trust the gods, I just don't know them.." Sima laughed. "I guess, maybe it's because in my world, the gods and I had a candid relationship." Sima shrugged, he had never met a god of this world.
"Are the gods nice here?" Sima didn't really think they were gods at all, just beings with great power. The gods of his world certainly were not god-like, in his opinion, differed greatly from the fairy-tales. Though the tales did not lie of their power, they did lie of their personalities.

Lilith pulled herself together. This was a special day. The Goddess and decided that they should spend this day together, and she was done ruining it for them. She sniffed and pulled away, happy he didn't call her out on breaking the promise once again. She'd been doing well, right? She shifted away from him, going back to the food they had before been going through. She dug through the basket, finding more of the cheese he'd been so fond of, and tossing it his way.
The Gods and Goddess's here, well, some of them are nice. You'd think, that working at the library, as I do, I would know more on the subject but I do not. She poured some wine into the glasses and carefully handed him one, sipping from her own. Her had her legs curled to the side beneath her, leaning on one arm on the blanket. Her face was still a tad red, and her voice a big thick, but she was recovering quite quickly. She found herself to be a drama queen lately, not that she'd share that thought.
From my knowledge, the Goddess Ai, is who set up today, and is quite nice. Mylee, from what I know, isn't bad, he's the God of Creation and Life. Zepon, from what I gather, is not so nice, as the God of death. Um, Saden, is God of knowledge, I'm not sure what he's like. Vannessa goes hand in hand with Ai, but on a different platform. One is Love and desire, the other is passion and lust. They kind of blur together for me... As for the rest... I'm sorry, I don't know. But over all- oh! There is also Fate! The demigod of Destiny. He's the reason you're here, in this world. Most say he's awful for tearing people way from their worlds into this one, and I mostly agree... but he brought me you....so... She blushed and looked away, down into her wine glass.

Sima looked at her, he would love to agree with her. He really wished he could believe these gods were above himself, but he knew that the ideal was more than likely wrong. Perhaps this was because of his viewpoint from his world. In his world, humans followed gods blindly. Sima did the same thing, but, being alive as long as he had, he learned much more. Sima was confronted by gods, fought gods, gods not so benevolent. Perhaps however, he was treated differently, because he was not human. The gods certainly loved 'their' humans.
Lilith response to him arriving here, Sima couldn't help but think of how cute she was being. However, if this god was really the reason he was brought over here, than Sima needed to thank him. His wife had died, his children had died, all before he was brought here. This way, he didn't have to live in a world that hated him. "I'm glad I was brought here, I doubt I'd be alive if I hadn't been." Sima didn't really elaborate much, but he had survived for years in that world. The only reason he would have died there, would be if he had given up, which he almost had.
"So, what names do you like?" Sima asked her curiously for a moment. "Do you like my name?" He laughed nervously.

She sipped the wine, deciding not to eat at the moment, and gazed lightly a Sima as he spoke. All evidence of her crying was gone now, aside from the slight dampness of Sima's shirt, that she knew he could feel. He said he was glad he was brought here, or he may not be alive... those words stuck Lilith, and she lowered the glass she'd been holding, so it rested on her leg. She looked down for a moment, not sure what he meant just yet. He doubted he'd be alive? But from the information she'd gathered, he was immortal in his world? How would he not have survived? She thought of this for a few minutes until something clicked. The promise he'd made his wife, before things changed for them. He'd never told her what that promise was... What if it related to this? He couldn't have meant that, could he?
Lilith raised her hazy purple eyes back to his deep blue once, understanding clicking into place. She didn't move, nor did she comment just yet, but she knew , that if he looked into her eyes, he'd know she understood.
What names? Well, I've always been partial to Dimitri, as well as Aurora. But, I do like your name quite a lot actually. I believe I've said that before, I find your name quite beautiful. She smiled softly, bringing the glass back to her pink lips.

Sima moved a bit towards her, not liking the space that seemed to have some how grown between them. He grabbed the wine, looking at the chocolate. He sipped it, than glanced back at the chocolate. He moved his free hand, moving his gaze from the chocolate to Lilith's eyes. He didn't notice anything different yet, nothing that he thought she knew. This was because he had not realized what he had said, not yet anyways. "I really like Aurora, that name sounds great." Sima did really like the name Aurora, now that she mentioned it. "I'm kind of fond of Reimi. It's just so original, " Sima laughed, knowing full well that was what he named his daughter. He only hoped that Lilith didn't notice it.
He moved his free hand to meet hers, trying to grab a hold of the one closest, despite it having a wine glass with it. He held his own in the other hand, and sipped it casually, knowing full well, if he had too much, then he would be a bit more, random.
