She smiled, glad he would agree. She did however, recognize the name he said, but once she realized why, she let him have that, choosing not to call him out on it. Of course he would like that name, and she had no reason to make him feel awkward about it. She felt his hand against hers, and took her wine glass in her other hand, so she could hold his without interference. She saw how careful he was with wine, and noticed she'd never seen him buzzed or anything. She smiled to herself, laughing at her own thoughts.
So... What's the weirdest thing to happen to you since you've been here?

Sima looked at her curiously. "What's the weirdest thing to happen since I've been in teair? I don't know, I guess, falling in love all over again. It's been the weirdest experience of my life." Sima admitted bravely. "It involves a lot of trust that's for sure, " He laughed nervously. "But, there's no one else I'd rather give that trust too." He responded happily. "What's the weirdest thing that has happened to you?" He asked her the same question. "And please don't tell me I'm the weirdest, although I guess I understand that, being from another world, and what not."
"I hear I'm pretty emotional for a demon anyways," Their was a slight resistance in the word demon, but the rest of wording was flawless. "I have to admit, I've never seen an elf before you. That was kind of weird. I'm glad your the first elf though, and damn those ears of yours are gorgeous," Sima laughed, scratching the back of his head nervously.

Lilith watched his face as he spoke, aware of her own flushing with colour. She was thrilled that it was falling in love with her, that was a strong memory, though she understood it's weirdness- for one, she was quite odd, and two, she couldn't deny the odd fact, that he was able to fall again, after his wife- but she would never question it. He spoke of trust, which only made her smile more, due to recent events. She was learning to be content with the trust she did hold from him, regardless of the fact that it wasn't all of it- she couldn't blame him for that. Upon him asking her the same question, she smiled broadly, looking up at the beautifully clear blue sky.
Hmm... Well that's quite the time span for me to look back on, I've lived here my entire life... She hummed softly, thinking. Her life really wasn't eventful until Sima had appeared in it. Yet, suddenly, her eyes shot wider, and her face plunged into a burgundy colour, as she averted her eyes from him, focusing on her wine, and how is moved in the glass.
Well.... There was this one time, not to long ago actually- just before I met you. I had been invited to the Winter ball, thing, and I had had, well, to much to drink- I wasn't aware the juice wasn't juice. She laughed nervously, continuing to avert her eyes, running the tip of her finger along the rim of the crystal glass. I had decided to explore the castle, out of curiosity and boredom - I knew no one at the time. After a few minutes of roaming the hallways, I came across a blonde man, heading towards the other end of the castle, and not to far behind him, was a larger man, and it seemed one was following the other. Me, being a buzzed idiot, decided to follow them both- these two complete strangers, men, I didn't know. Okay, I was more than buzzed. Eventually it turned into follow the leader, and we decided to attempt a raid of the castle treasure. But, we ran into a guard, so we ditched that plan, and went and had more drinks at the Mary. She coughed, looking embarrassed.
I learned that the blonde one, Kail, was a Fated- you've seen him, he's the one in my book that you saw. The other was Wayland, both such kind men. Once I came down from the alcohol though, I was so shy, Kail had to walk me home, because I had no idea where I was. She blushed again, tucking hair behind her ear, and glancing up at the man sitting close to her- she hadn't noticed he'd moved closer.
Other than that, it would have to be meeting you, and falling in love with you... Seeing as you've completely changed how I act, and how I view certain things. I'm sure you've noticed how I'm not an awkward mess, only with you. She sipped her wine and heard his next words. She felt the slight tension in the word demon, but noticed how flawlessly he moved on from that. He stated he was pretty emotion, for a demon, but who was to determine what a demon was to be like? Clearly they were not all bad, so why stereotype it? She kept this to herself, however, not wanted to start something she couldn't back up. Her ears twitched lightly at the mention of her race, her having being the first he'd ever met. She could see how that would be weird- she was well away of the stereotype she set for herself; Tiny little blonde elf, shy as could be, working in a library, and very emotional- she didn't blame him for finding that weird. She did however, feel quite flattered at his compliment, and her ears turned beat red to prove it.
You actually like them...? She hesitantly raised a hand to touch the tip of one of them, a worried look on her face. She accepted the compliment, but she would always remember the teasing and mean words she'd heard growing up. Her ears had often been the point of interest, and she'd never forget them being pulled and poked, pointed out for their tapered tips. The fact that he found them beautiful- no, gorgeous, made her heart swell, and a happy felling flutter and bubble inside of her.

Sima looked at her as she seem to question his words. "Of course I life them, I wouldn't lie to you." Sima smiled happily, glad to see that she was happy with his compliment, although feeling that he had to re assure her when she asked. "I've never seen you drunk yet Lilith, although the sounds of your 'adventurers' make you seem like a 'fun drunk'." He shook his head after his words however. "I don't care to see you drunk though, that's not really you. I like the way you are now, the way you are without any sort of drug in your system." Sima laughed. "As I am sure you would rather have me sober then not, "
Sima attempted to pull her closer to him, enjoying the way her warmth, and scent, cascaded across his body. He knew that Lilith wanted him to trust her more, and he really did trust her a lot. However, the more he spoke about his past with her, the more comfortable he was talking about it, which meant the more he trusted her in the long run. Perhaps it was a little out of context, but it was technically what Lilith wanted right? "Hey Lilith, You know what. When I was a kid, I, I thought I was human." It was an odd thing to admit. "I mean, I was raised as a human. It's ironic that my father, my teacher, was a demon slayer too don't you think?" Perhaps Lilith would understand why he disliked referring to his race now. "They taught me a lot, but when I started becoming of age, my body was growing in ways that I didn't understand. And not just the ways that most boys don't understand around that time" Sima laughed nervously.
"My demonic power starting showing, and I wasn't quite sure what to do." Sima sighed lightly holding Lilith. "At first the clan seemed to be ok with it, but, one day my father took me to the masters lake. We were supposed to do training, he however, given orders I assume, attempted to drown me." Sima was rather surprised how calm he was talking about this. "I, blacked out, and when I woke up, his head looked like a split open watermelon." Sima could still remember the definition quite clearly. "After that every day of my life was an adventure though! A loney adventure.." He chuckled. "I spent most of my days learning how to control my powers, or trying too. I have to be careful about getting too emotional, because if I do, I lose control of my powers, black out, and, my body then reacts on, I would say animal instinct, but it's more like demonic instinct."
"It's why I tried to leave you, I tried to leave you so many times Lilith. I just can't," He laughed. Sima remembered a few times when she became upset because he did not share, or completely trust her. Well now Sima was giving her, pretty much the complete story. No half truths, no half tales, the full thing. "Don't get me wrong, I still love you. I was just afraid I could hurt you. I however, believe I'm much weaker here, it seems much easier to control when those sort of black outs happen." Sima was telling Lilith 99% of everything, however, he did not want to tell her he was technically conscious through these 'blackouts', he felt far too horrible for it.
"So after a while of training, and exploring, I eventually found my way to a woman. Her name Was Hotaru Honoo, and she had a oddly intelligent horse. She was cooking a rabbit, if I recall, and I couldn't resist the smell. So I went over and asked if she could share, an odd and upfront request of a stranger, but she agreed. The horse was protective, always trying to butt in when I was trying to talk to her. We figured that we could travel to the next town together, and I tried to leave her, similar to how I tried to leave you. I couldn't do it, something about her made me want to help her, stay for a few more days. I found excuses to tag along, and she didn't mind the protection."
"I carried on doing this for about a month, and then, a large storm hit. Hotaru, she disappeared. I was worried out of my mind, and I couldn't smell her scent because of the rain. I eventually found her, but it was in a place I am not supposed to enter. The church." Sima sighed. "I decided it was a good idea to enter, and as I tried, the church tried to purify me. I decided to bear with pain, especially since I realized that Hotaru was so afraid of Lightning. I could not allow her to lay huddled under the pew, in fear. However, I could not hide myself in the church. It revealed what I truly was. So as the night went on after making sure she was safe, and the storm, died down, I left, finally having enough strength to do so. "
"When I left however, Hotaru thought it was a good idea to chase after me. I had already 'removed' my demonic 'features' and they began to heal back properly, I healed almost instantenously in that world. She wouldn't have been able to catch me, if it was not for me stopping to remove them. She talked me down from leaving her, telling me that she didn't believe in the books of human lore, and that I was not horrible."
"So we continued our adventure, she was looking for special orbs, each with unique properties. She explained it to me, but to be honest I forget most of it. After about 5 years we decided to give up adventuring, and by that time our relationship had grown exponentially. I proposed to her, and she refused." Sima laughed. "I asked I think 2 more times, I guess, I just, love the idea of having a family, a union. Hotaru had our first child, Reimi. She was adorable, I loved every moment with her. However, as Hotaru aged, Reimi aged slower, and I didn't age at all. This is where things went bad, but I didn't know at the time. Hotaru made a deal with a powerful demon, a demon who used souls as tools. She made a deal," Sima's lip quivered speaking these words.
"She made a deal to bear the demon's child, in order to gain immortality. However, this demon made sure their were great limitations on her 'immortality'. She would only be ageless, she could still die from lack of food, water, or blood. The only thing that was different was that her age matched mine, and if I died, then she would as well. So she was pregnant with what I believed to be our second child Kai, and I loved him, and I guess I still do, as much as my first. Kai however, had a few odd tendencies."
"When Kai turned 18, he, attempted to hurt me. I, he wouldn't stop. So I restrained him. He was not like a human, he wasn't so easily to restrain. After some thinking, we decided to let him leave, however, a year later he returned. He returned with a man named Kuro. I hadn't realized it, but I had harmed his parents before hand, many years ago, and he wanted revenge. Kuro had been tailing me all those years, learning my weakness', learning Hotaru's weakness' learning what Hotaru had done, before I even knew. Kuro, with demon blade, with my son Kai, and an army of mages. Each wanted Sima the demon, dead. n that world, I guess an army was needed to stop me."
Sima's tone was drastically different now.
"Kuro, the entire time, had been following me, learning both Hotaru's weakness', and mine. Kuro had learned what Hotaru had done, before i had. He used this to push me past my emotional boundary, and lose control. He pitted my own.. son.. against me. When I came to, almost everyone was dead, and I, i, was a monster. Kuro, and Hotaru, both were the only ones that seemed to have any movement, both, close to death. Kuro recovering thanks to the demon he held in his hand. I knew it right from it's sent, a demon, hidden as a blade. Hotaru, however, their was no way to save her. She knew that I would not be able to live with what happened, so upon her deathbed she made me swear to keep living, and I promised her. Despite the pain she caused me, I promised her. I could not smell anything but blood, and, Kuro only taunted me as a distraction. Using this time to allow a few mages to perform a forbidden spell. A spell that killed all within it, only, it brought me here.
"I spent at least 2-3 years in isolation here in Teair. When I woke up, I knew it was different, or everything before was a dream. I knew it was different because everything had a different scent indicator, and it didn't seem to add up. I couldn't talk to anyone though, I couldn't, so I stayed away from everything. I hid in the forests, I only got what I needed, spent little to no time with anyone. It wasn't only until a year ago did I decide to actually venture into cities, and only recently did I meet Aria, as I know you've met her too. I could not spend much time with Aria, for the same reasons I've tried so many times to leave you.. And then, I went back to what I do best!" Sima laughed nervously. "Hiding in the woods, however, a certain wolf didn't find it too amusing, and decided to take my lunch."

Lilith blushed once more, lowering her hand from her ear. She knew he wouldn’t lie to her, she just needed a little reassuring when it came to her elven deformities; her ears, her eyes and her hair. She was aware he was fond of her hair, and now her ears, but she’d never really figured out how he felt of her eyes- she’d ask another time, as he continued to talk.
I suppose I could be considered as such, though, it’s only happened once, and I could have been killed because of it… But I prefer the sober me- smart choices, and natural reactions… She left out the part that she became incredibly flirty when drunk- as Kail and Wayland witnessed that night.
I love the sober you, I love every version of you. True, she’d never seen him drunk, but she had seen him as a demon, even if it was a blurred, painful memory of watching someone fight for her, as she laid bleeding on the ground, fading- but it was a memory none the less. She hoped he’d hear the implication, as it went hand in hand with what she heard next.
When Sima tried to pulled her closer, she complied immediately, putting the wine down a few feet away from them both, and nesting into his side, happy for his warmth and the immediate comfort that came with it. She’d never felt so at home as she did in his arms- and what a marvellous feeling it was. As he spoke, she did her best to follow along, putting the bits and pieces she already knew, into place. The fact that his father was a demon slayer made a few things make a lot more sense to her, as well as made her understand where the root of his hatred lay, in regards to his other self.
When he spoke of his father attempting to drown him, the flashback to the springs, a time not to long ago, with Aria and Rivers, popped into her head, making it quite clear why Sima had been so horrified to have fallen in the water. Had she known then, there wasn’t much she could have done, but she was grateful to know now. She was proud at how calmly he spoke, knowing how much of a toll this could be taking on him.
The image of Sima losing control, and waking up to his dead father, it wasn’t a pretty one, but she couldn’t imagine how he’d felt. True, the man had tried to drown him, but it was his father none the less- that must have been painful. At the mention of him trying to leave her, more than once, Lilith glanced up to his face, a difficult feat in the position she was sitting in. She heard him laugh, after saying he couldn’t leave her, and she felt her chest tighten. She wasn’t upset, she wasn’t hurt. She understood. He loved her, and didn’t want to hurt her- even before, not knowing how he felt, he knew he wanted to protect her, and that filled her with an emotion she was unable to understand in that moment.
As he moved on to the topic of his wife, Lilith’s ears perked up, wanting to know more. She was never jealous of the woman - that was something she would never feel, for it would be shameful to feel such a thing towards a woman who no longer lived, except in the mind of a man who loved her. No, she felt saddened by the pain he endured for her, but she never once wished to be in her place, as that, was what Lilith saw jealousy to be. She listened to his story carefully, noting the detail in her mind. Sima then, was not to different from Sima now, traveling with Hotaru to protect her, finding excuses to say- she would predict he do something now if it came down to it. She noted the similarities - though small - in their situations. He felt the need to leave them both, to protect them both, and therefore, loving them both.
Lilith smiled to herself, once again seeing how selfless he could be, and how he was completely unaware to it. Forcing himself into a place that only hurt him, simply to check on a woman because she was scared of a storm- such a little thing, out of context, yet she had a feeling it had meant so much more then. She noticed how she and Hotaru seemed to have a few things in common.
One; neither found Sima to be evil, or horrible, the way most people viewed demons. Two; both wanting to be around him, regardless of how he viewed himself. And three; they both loved him.
Lilith did feel the need to question how he “Removed his demonic features”, but she wouldn’t interrupt him- she didn’t feel right doing so. She found the story of his proposal cute, and it reminded her of the ring he wore under his shirt, and the night she’d almost received it- understanding now, what it had meant, but not wanting to take from him, what he so clearly needed to keep.
As the story changed, Lilith felt sorrow with him, learning of Hotarus deal, and how his son betrayed him. She couldn’t imagine what that would do to a father. Yet, she could so easily see Sima as a father, and a brilliant one at that. She quickly knocked that thought from her head- she couldn’t handle children, she could barely handle herself.
The thought of someone hunting him down, an army, hunting him, to kill him, appalled Lilith, and she felt wounded for him, angry that anyone would try to hurt him. He was not evil, he was kind, and pure- she again, kept that to herself, knowing he’d argue. She had more understanding now, as to why he disliked magic so much, though she had guessed as much before, and didn’t blame him. She hoped he knew she was incapable of such magic regardless, but it still meant quite a lot that he let her heal him at all.
At the thought of him living here for so long in solitude, her heart seemed to squeeze itself, not liking that idea at all. It seemed so lonely. But, she was glad he knew Aria, though reckless, she did wonders on the way one viewed things. And clearly, she did something great, as it seemed to put certain things into action, as he tied the story together, leading up to when they met, causing her to smile and glance up at him once more.
Sima… I… There are so many things I want to say right now… Firstly, thank you, for trusting me with that… I never would have asked that of you, but it thrills me that you did. Secondly, may I ask, how you “remove your demonic features”? I don’t believe I fully understand what that means… And finally…. Thank you so much for not leaving… After you revealed so much, I think it’s only fair of me to admit this, but you’re all I have now… Clearly, I didn’t have much before, and I hope you know this is pressureless, but you are such an important factor in my life now- I can’t seem to imagine what life was like before you, except as dark and lonely… I hate to imagine you the same way, hiding in the forest for those years… it just makes me sad…

SIma scratched his head nervously. How did he speak for so long? "Well, It wasn't so bad." Sima added to Lilith's last sentence, if him being alone in the forest. He took a few more drinks of his wine, and then realized his glass was out. Perhaps he should slow down a bit with the alcohol. "I have to admit however, I do miss having a family. Here in Teair, I have no blood ties. It's, a little bit depressing." Sima wrapped one hand around her waist, or attempted to. Removing the hand holding hers to do so. He could then grab a hold of her other hand, but Lilith would have to switch her wine holding hand once again.
"So, now you know everything about me." Sima chuckled lightly. He rested his body against hers, not with much force, only to feel her against him if anything. He enjoyed this time, but he felt that this little 'date' of theirs, from the matchmaking 'god' whatever her name was, was a milestone in their relationship. He felt this because of what he told her, and because, perhaps because of this god, Lilith also believed that they 'were made for each other'.
"So, Lily. Maybe after this we could plan a trip," Sima laughed. "Or, well, I guess It's time to start our restaurant isn't it?" Sima certainly thought it would be fun. "I was hoping to get it into the more secure districts, I know they are more expensive, but I feel that it would make for a nice restaurant. Location is important. "

Lilith rested against him as well, enjoying the warmth it bought. Spring was just beginning, so the air was still crisp, but far warmer than that of winter. She had set her wine glass done a few minutes ago, so she held no restraint to him holding her hand. She glanced up at him, attempting to imagine the things he must be feeling.
In a slightly different circumstance, I know what you mean. I don't have any blood ties here either, but I was not transported from another realm, simply orphaned. She said this normally, not a single change in her tone. She was happy he'd told her so much, and perhaps she truly did know everything now, and the thought of that, made her giddy. She sat straighter for a moment, no longer allowing them to rest their bodies against one another, and faced him. She kissed him after a moment, a smile in her eyes, before returning to their previous position.
Our restaurant? And the location is entirely up to you- but I thought you wanted it to be affordable for the people coming in to eat? Not to say a higher district wouldn't be, but I was under the impression you wanted something different?

Sima looked at her, watching as she pulled away in order to kiss him. It was odd how much they had grown together. "Yes, our restaurant. You are co-signing are you not?" Sima spoke rather eccentrically. "I did want it to be affordable, and it will be. I just know I have to start lifting my own weight, " Sima laughed. "As far as I'd love to run the business by myself, for non-profit, I know it will be hell to deal with. I'll be making no money, and the restaurant could go down." Sima didn't seem to have any attitude changed towards his dream, he spoke as if everything was the same.
"This way I can make money, help pay for food, which I KNOW I eat the most. Pay for my own cooking supplies, this way, I don't have to use the small stove you have, for when I'm home. I can help do things, I can establish a line of credit here. Right now I'm simply me. However, I can often be viewed as a joke." This was the way it felt. To someone with a job, stability, they often viewed Sima as a child, someone without responsibility. When in fact, Sima took sole responsibility for a great deal.
"Trust me, I still get my dream. in the end, but at least this way I'll be able to have stability."

She nodded at all he said, having made complete and perfect sense. You have it all figured out, don't you. She smiled with her words, happy that the things he wanted, were very likely to happen, and even more happy that she would be helping achieve them for him.
And of course I am, I just didn't think it would be referred to as anything but yours, it is after all, your dream. She reached over and grabbed her wine, finishing what was left in the glass. There was still food in the basket, but Lilith was content siting, or laying, on the blanket and just talking.

Sima listened to her, glad that she agreed. Although he was slightly curious about one thing. "Well, of course it would be 'our' restaurant. You are a part of my life, for a long time I hope. Don't you want to be in my dreams? Not just the inappropriate ones either." Sima chuckled. " I wonder, how long it will take to get things for the restaurant prepared for. I need employees, other chefs, ingredient supplies. Tables, chairs, candles, rugs, the list goes on.." It was true, starting something like a restaurant was an interesting process. "Maybe you can help me screen employees.." Sima wondered what questions Lilith would ask them, and how it might be interesting to see her screening people.
"I guess i will have to make menus, so I will need an artist, maybe we could have new menu backgrounds every month or so." Giving Lilith more parts to play in the restaurant just seemed right. He stretched his legs out, then looked at Lilith. He pulled her in closely, and kissed her lips. "It doesn't matter, whatever happens happens.." He was speaking of course about the restaurant. "So what do you want to do? We could go for a walk, or maybe, " Sima groaned. "Nevermind, " Sima had no idea why he thought a boat ride would be applicable, it wasn't like they could even find one, and it wasn't like he would be comfortable or confident in a boat. He would not. "Do you have any ideas? Maybe we can just sit here and eat cheese" SIma laughed.

She laughed. You've had inappropriate dreams about me? Why am I not surprised? She shook her head. I would love to help you, to be apart of it in any way that I can. She left it at that, and kissed him back. She sighed against him after he spoke again, not really sure what to do.
I think, we should stay here for a while, maybe lay on the blanket, talk, who knows, perhaps we'll fall asleep. She shrugged, never one for planning things like these.
And you can have all of the cheese if you'd like.

SIma looked at her curiously. "Wouldn't be good cheese if not shared with friends, now would it?" Sima asked her casually grabbing cheese with his free hand. He then brought over the cheese, almost showcasing it infront of Lilith. "Do you waaant some cheeese?" Sima moved his hand, and spoke in a way to attempt to entice her. "Cheese is good for the soul, I swear it is." Sima laughed, obviously joking about that part. Sima rested the cheese on her lap, almost as if he was giving it to her, regardless of her answer.
"I know you love it when I trust you, so I had an idea.." Suna spoke oddly casual. "But, please, swear not to be careful!" He almost pleaded about that part. "Why don't you teach me.. to swim?" Sima's heart pumped quicker just at the thought of being in the water. "It's not going to be a cake walk I tell you, but it will be something that only someone I trust will be able to do. And, I dunno. At one point my whole family was swimming, Hotaru, Kai, Reimi. They were all having a blast, but I was left out, 15 meters away from the lake. I guess, I don't want to be left out, if I have that chance again, I guess I wish I could swim with the family" There was a very subtle tone implying that he could see making a family with her, but that was the future. This was only preparing, if at some point, he was in that situation again.

I'm fine, thank you! She laughed, removing the cheese from her lap and placing it on his shoulder for comedic value. She shook her head, turning to face him when he began to speak more seriously than before.
Sima... He wanted her help to swim? She remembered him at the springs, and how he'd reacted... He was right, it certainly wouldn't be easy, but she'd love to try.
Sima, that's a beautiful thought, and I would absolutely love to help you. She smiled, reaching up to hold his face for a moment, loving the sentiment, when his words seemed to kick in more. If he had the chance again, to swim with his family... Did that mean he wanted a family with her? She knew they could never replace the one he had, nor did she want to, but she'd never thought of having kids before- before recently, she'd never thought of having a family period, nor a partner. But would it be so bad? She'd have to really think. It was clearly something he may want, so it was important. But did she want kids? She didn't know.

SIma was glad that she agreed with him, though not looking forward to the time, where he initially have to get into the water. Today seemed so surreal, it was quiet, warm, despite the season, and he felt so comforted with Lilith's presence. "I'm glad that your the person I sleep beside." Sima didn't explain his words, it was because he thought the meaning was crystal clear. He yawned rather delicately remembering all the times Lilith's hand decided to touch his face. He didn't mind, in fact he felt rather connected when she did so. It wasn't like looking at her, or having a connection through her hand. But when their eyes met in such circumstances it seemed that a formal silent connection was made. He could hear her heartbeat, feel her compassion, all through the connection they shared. It was really wonderful, and he felt sad for anyone that wouldn't be able to experience this kind of relationship.
He could only remind himself to the comparable feeling that Hotaru made him feel. The two, being great in their own right. Sima sighed, a small small appearing on his face. It really was amazing how much had changed between the two of them, and he really couldn't see doing that with anyone else. Hotaru and his relationship developed slowly over many years, and it made it feel deep and rich. Despite the short time they had spent, it almost felt as deep and meaningful as the relationship he had with his wife. He couldn't help but shake the smile on his face while thinking of such things. Despite thinking of his wife, who he cared deeply about, and he would never truly stop loving. He had Lilith their to help him shoulder those feelings, help him start a new life, like Hotaru had always wanted. He laughed quietly to himself over a new thought. He wondered, because, he knew, just by the way Lilith made him think, that he would want to marry her. He knew that timing was oh so very wrong, and that he still felt nervous about his previous relationship.
He knew however, that in time, he would want to ask her. This rose the question, could he convince her to take up his name? Hotaru never decided to so, keeping her last name her original. This wasn't to say he wouldn't like her keeping her last name, he just always felt it would be something extremely special, and he had always tried convincing Hotaru to take his name. Sima was rather old-fashion in some of his views, more or less learned from his own 'father'. He turned to look in her eyes, enjoying the silence. However, noticing that he felt quite nervous, realizing the actual topic that was on his mind for the last 5-10 minutes or so, he blushed, and looked away from Lilith.
Over the years, or well, at least from his adventures with Hotaru, that this topic wasn't generally the manliest thought to be thinking. He was raised upon the stereotype that woman were the one's gushing over the last names of their partners. He felt slightly idiotic and tried to bring up a different train of thought.
cheese, that's right there was cheese. He grabbed the basket and began diving for the cheese, stuffing as much as he could fit into his mouth, taking his hands away from Lilith to do so. After devouring the leftover cheese, the basket seemed quite empty.
He set the basket back down, realizing the only way to think of something different was perhaps arise another topic. "Lily, " He groaned, "Do your co-workers still talk about me?" Sima looked at her curiously, it was a reasonable question considering how he introduced himself to them. "Maybe that's not the best thing to talk about, uhm, What do you think your life would be like today, had you not me?"

Lilith smiled at his words, and leaned happily against him, feeling the calm serenity that came with this moment. She looked up at the clouds, watching them float and sway with the fresh and brand new spring breeze. With the change in season, came the change in life, and she had a feeling things would only continue to change from here on out. Sima would want to begin on the restaurant no doubt, and she would be quite involved with that- at his request. She had her current job to worry about, including the fact that she may have to look for a new one, or another on the side at least. Once she cosigned for the building, she would have to find a way to make back the money, not that she minded. Being a librarian really didn't pay much, but up until now, she'd never worried, only having to buy enough fruit for herself. Now she was supplying food for two, and much more of it, due to the things he cooked. She knew that once the restaurant was up and running, it wouldn't matter as much, so long as Sima and herself stayed together- she wasn't worried about that oddly enough.
The way she felt about Sima, was something she'd never before had to describe to herself. It was brand new, fire hot, nerve wracking, yet more calming than anything else in her life. He was her best friend, her family, and now, her partner. It was a romance in her mind, that she had only ever read about, dreamed of feeling. Some might say it was happening to quickly, therefore they were jumping to their feelings, and they couldn't be real- but that was what made it seem so real to her in this moment. Their love just seemed to appear in thin air, dangling before them. Neither of them were really ready- what with his past so fresh, and her being so new. Yet the only doubts in her mind were the ones brought up by others, including him. She knew he believed the odds were against them, as she'd never been with anyone before, but she found that to be a good thing. No one else had seen her as he had, physically, or mentally. No one had touched her as her had, spoken to her as he had, or understood her as he had. She didn't mind that he'd gone through this all before, but for herself, she found herself lucky. Like all her life she'd been waiting for him.
When Sima jumped up unexpectedly and began stuffing his face with cheese, Lilith jumped, having startled her. She laughed at the sight, shaking her head at him and his love for cheese. She laid on the blanket, her legs out in front of her, arms resting on her chest. Her hair, however, decided to splay out around her, framing her delicate body like a shield, Some strands fluttering lightly in the soft spring breeze, others firmly on the blanket like thick blonde ropes.
Every now and then, to ask why I'm lying about being engaged. They simply don't believe me. I've been told a couple dozen times to "just wear the ring to work and get over it." Apparently I'm to much of a shy mess to wear "my ring" in public. She shook her head with a light laugh, turning her head to face him slightly, still laying down.
If I didn't have you? Well, I would still be the way I was when you met me; the quiet librarian, who stays to herself, reads in corners, only eats fruit, doesn't socialize because she stuttered to much out of nerves, and has never experienced love. Now, most of that is still the same, aside from only eating fruit... And of course, love. I've definitely experienced love now. She sat up for a moment, to kiss his lips, smiling softly as she did. It was true, she hadn't changed all the much. If someone were to watch her at work, see her socialize with the people who asked for help, read alone on her breaks, and overall, didn't seem like much, they would assume she was what she appeared to be; a quiet elf working at the library. But, if someone watched her then, then continued to watch her with Sima around, they'd see a large change. They'd see someone passionate, someone who was energetic, and bubbly, goofy and sweet. Being around Sima changed nearly everything about her, yet she also maintained that sweet shy side, that she had a feeling he really liked.
May I ask you the same question? She moved away, going back to her position from before, laying on the blanket softly, looking at the clear blue sky, and the soft white clouds, comparing the blue of the sky, to the blue of Simas eyes, making her wonder- would she ever tell him how very much she adored his eyes?
