When Sima didn't respond, she glanced over, worried her words had offended him, but he looked happy, she she shrugged it off. They got closer to the swing when he spoke, his tone sparking a curious flame. She glanced over once more, and say him staring at the swing. Without a word she released his hand and took off, running towards it. She'd always loved swings, but she knew that as soon as she ran, so would Sima, and she knew he was faster.
But regardless, she ran, not sparing a look behind her. I have a feeling that I am! She yelled back to him, in reference to his question. Her hair was floating behind her in the wind she created, like a silver trail glinting in the sunlight.

Sima watched as she took off so quickly. He felt like giving her a handicap, to be honest he could probably close the gap between him and the tree much quicker than Lilith could react. It was not about beating her though, in fact why not let her win? It was a kind gesture he thought. He sped up rather quickly, easily gaining the distance lost, but timing it just right so that he could look competitive. When he made it to the swing he sat upon it, not even considering hiding that he threw their little race. He rested nicely on the swing, shyly rocking it back and forth. Now their was only time, before he decided to speak. He couldn't help but feel that he was going crazy. The more his feelings for Lilith grew, the more he felt that they should have some bond, something mere words could shy in comparison. He didn't want to start some big serious conversation again, but he felt that he had to do something, because so far it felt that this amazing relationship they had was only in his head. Invisible lines for anyone else. Sima wanted to make that line visible, despite his lack of friends.
Perhaps Sima was raised far too old fashioned, thinking about what their future would be so often then not. He had many urges to think that perhaps they should jump start things, and forget about what is too soon. However, he knew he would only feel like he was pushing something onto himself, because he did also believe a little bit of time should pass. He wasn't sure how long he'd feel was appropriate, but the more she grew on him, the more he felt like he had to act. "Lilith.. Will you sit beside me, and play with my hair.." Sima asked nervously, without any much reasoning. He loved it when people played with his hair, perhaps a bit too much, and wanting to go comatose for at least the moment. It was nice out here too, perhaps a little too nice, but regardless Sima was enjoying the day.
Perhaps he had forgotten about what Lilith had told him, but just realized it now. The world was not like his original, it's not nearly as dangerous. It's neither stereotypical or racist, so far. It had it's own problems, but Sima was making a home here. He wanted to get a bigger house, and then be able to ask Lilith to move in with him. He wanted it so bad he even considered back shuffling the restaurant. He knew that Lilith wouldn't approve, and she was going to pay for his restaurant, so he only had to wait.

Lilith reached the swing not long after she spoke, laughing and out of breath. She collapsed on one end, feeling when Sima sat down, seconds after her. She had no doubt in her mind that he'd let her win. It was a sweet gesture, and she found it very cute. She sat straighter, still gaining her breath back, enjoying the motion Sima was creating by moving the swing. She had her eyes closed, leaning her head into the back of the swing, feeling the soft rays of the sun caress her, wherever her skin was exposed- her legs, arms, neck and face. Her hair was a mess around them, or so she thought, in separate chunks around her and under her. Some was over the back of swing, some was in her lap, and some was now ever on his shoulder.
At the sound of his voice, Lilith opened her eyes just a crack, the sunlight penetrating through them quickly. She raised her hand to shield them as she looked over to him. Without realizing it, she began to smile. The tone of his voice, and the request it's self was just so sweet. She lowered her hand from her eyes and scooted closer to him, until their sides and thighs were touching. She could feel the movement of his leg as he kept their momentum on the swing.
That sounds perfect. She put her arm on top of his shoulder, her elbow resting lightly there, as she softly raked her fingers through his hair, feeling the silky smooth strands against her skins. She'd noticed a few weeks ago how much he seemed to enjoy it, but she hadn't really known how much- but she didn't mind. She loved doing it. She rested her head lightly against her own arm, raised against him as it was, and took in a soft breath.
Today just seems... magical.. Her voice was whisper soft, not wanting to break the serene silence that had seemed to have fallen around them. The breeze was light and calm, only moving the loose grass blades and leaves that winter had left behind. The sky was a beautiful blue - but nothing compared to his eyes, she thought - and the clouds that were scattered throughout it, where small, soft looking and pure white. She squinted her lilac eyes and gazed upwards, watching as the wind blew the clouds around.
Every moment with you seems magical, actually... This time her voice was even softer, a nervous flutter in her chest. She'd noticed that when he said more than he meant to, in regards to how he felt, he scatched the back of his head, out of nervous habit. Quite similar to what she did but keeping her voice almost inaudible, and her the colour of baby tulips, her ears matching. She closed her eyes once more, knowing there was no reason to be nervous, but loving the kind of nerves he gave her. She'd identified the flutter as butterflies in her stomach - such an odd phrase - and felt warm every time something he said brought them to her.

Sima wasn't exactly sure why he loved it so much when someone played with his hair. It just felt nice, soothing, and an odd way to get closer to someone. It was certainly kind of her to agree so quickly, he was slightly expecting some questioning as to why he wanted that. He just sat there blankly enjoying what Lilith was doing with his hair, and to be frank she could probably braid it, without Sima even noticing. The motion from the swing eventually died down, considering he would not be focusing on keeping it going. He wasn't entirely sure if Lilith knew he enjoyed this so much, nor, at this moment, did he care about it. "Lily.." He mumbled to himself, not really understanding what was going on outside of his own little bubble.

She giggled softly. She doubted he'd heard a word she said after agreeing to his request. She twirled his hair around her fingers, combed through it, and repeated that. She had a feeling, he enjoyed this far more than she, though she loved it. When the swing stopped moving, she made the motions herself, resting her feet on the ground, rather than curled on the swing, and pushed them lightly, enjoying that for herself.
At the sound of her name, and glanced over, only to see him in a state of bliss. She shook her hand, and moved up to kiss his cheek, not stopping the moment of her hands. Actually, she had an idea. Without moving the hand in his hair, she scooted away from him, and with her other hand, took his shoulders, and directed him down, so he was laying on the swing instead, his head in her lap, making it far easier to play with his hair the way he wanted. Plus, way more comfortable for her.
Yes Sima?

Sima found himself once again as she directed him to lay down on her lap. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea, unless she liked a sleeping Sima on her lap. It did certainly make him want to fall a sleep, and he was having a hard time doing it. The warmth he felt off of her lap, as she played with his hair. It was heavenly, and he couldn't help but love it. He laid in her lap, almost forgetting to respond to her words. She was lucky he could even hear them. "Nothing," He responded sounding rather tired, and content with what was happening.
He nuzzled against her lap for a brief moment, before, rather quickly I might add, falling sound asleep. He couldn't help himself, being that the things he loved to fall a sleep with were all presence. Her scent, The warmth, and an addition of playing with his hair. Sima did not last a chance, he couldn't stay awake, no matter how hard he tried to, it was far too comforting. He fell a sleep so silently, in fact, if one did not look in his eyes one would not know of his rest.

She kept them rocking, her hand moving softly, almost in a rhythm, in his hair. She had begun to hum to herself, to make sure she stayed awake. She leaned down again, to kiss the side of his face, but saw his eyes were closed. A smile crept on her face, and she sat back up, continuing to hum. She gazed down at him softly, loving every moment of this. It felt so unrealistic, to perfect. The perfect romance novel, playing before her very eyes.
Lilith was still humming, not noticing that she too, was nodding off lightly. Her head was resting on the swing, her hand playing in his hair until she fell asleep, then it simply rested on top of his head, her fingers entangled in his hair. It must be an odd sight, finding a sleeping elf with a man taking a nap on her lap, her hand in his hair. Odd, yet, beautiful, she was certain. After a moment of them both being asleep, the swing halted, having no one to push it but the breeze.

Sima had rested their for god knows how long.Enjoying every last moment of the almost restless slumber. However, even with moments so comforting, he found himself dreaming. Sima was a man with many burdens, fears, and most of all stress. He didn't share any of it with anyone, it was his alone to face. He never let go of any of it, it was not how he was raised. Every man, woman, child, that has ended life near him, it was always their, and it only stacked his stress, and fears, of what he was. These dreams were a way for him to cope, with these things.
-Dream-
The room was a pristine white, behind him, many benches, sat a whole crowd of people he didn't recognize. What was this place? As his vision regained itself he realized found this place to be a chapel of some sort. He quickly remembered what today was, it was his wedding day! He had been waiting for many years, but finally he was able to marry her. "Hotaru, " He spoke to the woman across from him. He looked across, only a veil covering the woman's face. He took her hand, casually looking across to the priest somewhat nervously.
When the time did come for him to lift the veil from the woman, he was surprised to see someone not Hotaru. This was when his memory seemed to pop back into place. "Lilit?" He immediately felt horrible, as if somehow he thought this wedding was somehow his previous one. He couldn't imagine how Lilith would feel. "I'm sorry Lilith, I swear I didn't mean to...
The more he spoke, the more sound seemed to be muzzled. The room began to fade from its seemingly pure white to a more darker tone. This was when he was forcefully shoved by someone from behind. When he was turned to see, Hotaru was holding onto him. "You can't forget about me!" Her voice was angry, stern. Sima's heart dropped yet again. "I slept with another demon!" She screamed out, grabbing Sima's face, in the same area Lilith had done. However she did so with harm, grasping his face as if trying to pull it off. Sima couldn't help himself, he almost couldn't live with the fact that those words, despite never being uttered by Hotaru in her life, were true. And he knew that, it was something he worried about with Lilith, and that it wasn't natural. How could he not be worried about it, considering what had happened? It only burned a whole in his heart.
The more he thought about it the more Hotaru seemed to hold power over him, her hand seemingly getting hotter and burning his face. "You can't love, your just a demon.." Sima knew from these words, this was nothing but a dream. Hotaru would have never gone that far, he knew that much. When he realized, everything seemed to fade away. It was clear to him that his body certainly was having a rough time forgetting Hotaru, but it had to be done. He needed to trust Lilith fully, and that meant forgetting something so painful as a betrayal.
-end dream-
Sima woke up rather calmly, realizing that it was in fact a dream before he woke up, made him that much easier about it. In fact, normally a dream like that would have freaked him out. However, he felt that it was a sign of chance. He slowly moved Lilith's hand, allowing himself to get up. He yawned lightly, looking at Lilith sleeping. "That must be uncomfortable.." He thought out loud, feeling a bit bad for it actually. He poked Lilith lightly. "You ok?"

Lilith felt as though she were asleep for only a fleeting moment. A moment of beautiful comfort, modest breezes, the perfect sighs. Her eyes had fluttered shut, for what felt like no time, but next she knew, they were fluttering back open, the hot rays of the sun piercing her irises. It took a moment to open her eyes fully, raising her head from the wooden swing backing. She'd begun to register Sima's voice, as well as the fact that his warmth was no longer on her lap, as he had sat up. Lilith raised her hands up above her head, interlocking her finger, stretching lightly, a small squeak escaping her lips.
She glanced softly next to her, her eyes focusing on the beautiful man before her. A small smile formed on her lips, and without thinking, she raised her hand to lightly caress his cheek, just wanting to feel the softness of his skin against her palm. She still wasn't awake from her small nap, sleep hindering her mind, blurring it softly as it left her slowly.
Yes, I'm quite alright. She let her eyes roam his face lightly, watching as the wind floating within his hair, the way his eyes gazed at her, the small indents on his face from where he'd been asleep on her legs. She traced the lines on his cheek lightly, barely allowing their skin to touch. She felt completely in bliss.

Hey looked at her as she awoke from her slumber. Perhaps it was time for them to leave the swing, lest risk the tempation of sleeping all day on it. t was probably not very comfortable for Lilith, but for him, all he needed was her lap, and perhaps a little bit of coaxing with the hair. "Come on, let's go." He laughed getting up. "I have an idea, Lilith.." Sima looked around the areas cautiously. "And, it can only be the two of us." Perhaps Sima sounded a bit like he was asking her to something naughty, but that was not in the intention at all. "I can only have people I trust with me, if I so decide to do this." Why did he go through such lengths to attempt and make this woman happy? Even if it meant doing something that would put him in total horror.
Of course Lilith didn't know what he was going to suggest yet, but, was that really a big deal at this point? He'd rather have no one know where they are, in case of listeners. Of course, it's not as someone was following him. However, he could swear he could smell something faint, around the town recently. Something familiar. Lilith kept telling him it was much more safe here, so he really was trying his best however to keep his thoughts smooth in the worried department.

Lilith blinked herself awake as Sima stood. She joined him, not sure where they were going. She swept her hair over her shoulder, and attempted to braid it to keep it out of the way, but her fingers wouldn't cooperate so she gave up, flinging her hair back over her shoulder with a huff.
Well, I'm fairly certain it's only us here Sima... She glanced around with her words, feeling like she was right. She arched an eyebrow in his direction. What did he plan on doing? She walked closer to him, covering a yawn with her hand and hugged him silent. Lilith was still waking up.

Sima walked with Lilith for a few moments before realizing that it probably was not the best time for what he had thought of. "Uhm, never mind Lily. It wouldn't be the best idea right now. I was thinking, i could try my hand at, learning to swim, if it was just us. However, I guess we are not prepared, so it wouldn't be the best idea." Sima couldn't help but feel that their routine was somewhat lax and routine. He was getting the idea, that perhaps he was boring. Their was only so much he could talk about, and, when his mind ran blank, he just felt nervous. This was especially true when they were not very touchy, but it was more based on conversation and communication. SIma felt that if he was going to have any sort of long relationship with her he's have to find a way to make things interesting, not just talking about the bare minimum, or staring at her blankly, no matter how much he enjoyed to do it.
Sure, it certainly seemed that she was not bored of all of this, but as he stood there with nothing on his mind, nothing in sight to seem to do, he was nervous about it. Here stood this wonderful, adorable, woman. She decided for whatever reason to be with him, and, Sima was not the most captivating person by far. He however tried, even if it was goofy or awkward, he wanted to try is hardest, he wanted to make Lilith happy. "Uhm, " He refrained from scratching the back of his head. "Do you want to.. go to the library? We can pick out some books, or, prod your co workers." Sima looked at her awaiting for some sight of denial or acceptance.

Lilith shrugged, he was right, they weren't prepared, and to be honest, she didn't want to get into that just yet. She was happy he was allowing her to help, and be apart of it, but she didn't want to start yet, on their date. She moved away, interlocking their hands together and smiling up at him. She was getting an idea in her head, but she wasn't 100% sure he'd be okay with it.
I have a better idea... Instead of jumping right into the water, why don't we go to the springs, and just relax there for a while- out of the water. Being around it seems to be just as much as a challenge for you, as getting in the water. Step by step? She went on her tip toes to kiss his cheek, as he was a great deal taller than her -which she secretly loved- before leaning into his side, resting her head against his shoulder.
We don't have to, I just thought of it. If not, the library sounds perfect.

Sima looked at her curiously when she spoke of having a better idea. "What idea is that?" Sima was glad that something was brought up, he didn't want to be sitting around with nothing to talk about. When she spoke about her idea however he thought for a moment. He couldn't help but feel a bit of worry being at the edge, in case he got pushed in. Realizing this worry that he seemed to have perhaps baby steps were a bit more proper, like Lilith said. "Ok, that sounds like a great idea." He responded, however slightly cut off as Lilith reached up to kiss him. Sima wasn't sure which direction the springs were at. Because of what had happened, and the water washing off scents, on the return trip, it was a bit iffy heading in that direction, not to mention he avoided areas like that. "Which way is it again Lily?"
The tension in his voice just from the thought of heading near the springs seemed to mount through his body, making ever more nervous of being that close. his heart beated ever so quicker, and he tried to calm himself down. Gripping Lilith's hand, harder than he ever had before, it wasn't enough to hurt, but it certainly would grab her attention. He didn't do this realizing it however, but for the last 1-2 months Lilith was the only thing he relied upon for stress, fears, help. So, perhaps things like gripping her hand didn't register all too quickly considering how comfortable he was around her.
"You don't mind leading the way?"

She was glad he agreed, and she easily picked up on the change in his voice. This is why she thought just being around the water was a good step. He'd been so ready to just jump in and let her help, but she knew that was really a horrible idea. Well, let's stop at home first, I'd like to grab my book. She smiled, referring to her sketch book- she might as well get some drawing in while they were there. They wouldn't be doing much else, seeing as he would be trying to get comfortable around the water.
She looked around, trying to remember how to get out of the garden, when a sudden change of pressure on her hand caught her attention, causing her to look to their hands. This was stressing him out more than she'd originally assumed. She was more than sure she was right now- there would be no going into the water for quite some time yet. Lilith brought her other hand to their interlocked ones, resting it softly on top of his. With a grip of her own, she tried to reassure him.
I don't mind. And I also don't mind, that this is scary for you. I understand that. We will just go for a while, sit on the rocks near by, and relax. Listen to the sounds of the water, and the nature combined. Try to forget the water is even there, and we'll move on from that point, very slowly. She caressed his hand, desperately trying to be there for him. It made her nervous to see him like this- normally she was in his position, it was odd being on the other end.
Come on, let's head home first.
