There was a light. It was blinding and breathtaking. Iris had been wandering the cities within Greece, enjoying life, finding her purpose, when the light had taken her. She thought she was being shot or killed, in any manner, and it had caused her brain to shoot a bright light into her eyes, like the light at the end of the tunnel, making her believe the end was near. Many emotions sparked inside her; relief that her battle was over; sadness that she'd never found love; and regret, that she'd never found a home. She tried to fight against the light, pushing it out of her mind, but it engulfed her like she were a speck of pollen floating around the sky. Meaningless.
Iris opened her eyes. It was dim, and kind of cold. She was no longer standing, but sitting, however she didn't remember sitting, or even falling down, yet for some reason she was on her bottom on what felt like concrete. She pushed herself off of the ground, staggering to a stand and looking around. Slowly her eyes had adjusted to the lack of light. It looked as though she had landed in the middle of a street. It no longer looked like the beautiful city she'd been exploring; in fact, it looked nothing like Greece at all. It looked a bit broken down, and quiet. From what she could tell, it was around dawn, which was why everything was so dim. Iris pinched her arm, and felt a sharp pain. Okay... So I'm not dead... She looked around, her hooves clicking as she shuffled down the street a little. There were what looked like shops, and houses, but they were not many. In the great distance her ears could pick up the sound of water, so there was probably a river or lake near by.
Iris dusted the rocks and dirt off of the fur on her torso, and stopped again. Where was she going to go? From the looks of things anyone who would live here was still asleep, so no shops were to be open for a while yet. Iris looked around, finding a patch of grass and a few trees near by. She was beyond confused, and had no clue what was going on, but there was no use in fussing about. There was no one there to answer he questions, so she may as well wait to ask them until later. She made her way to the tree, and sat under it, leaning her head against the bark and falling asleep. She looked like a golden monster, resting under the new rays of the rising sun, with the shade of the tree as her protector. She was no monster, but to the people of this new place, they may have never seen a creature such as herself. She could only imagine what would happen to her next.

It had been a few days since he got back from seeing Mysteria and giving her a new arm. The things he had stored were good but was heading down to a small merchant area to get new materials for his shop. But he took a slight detor to the farming area. Since he wanted to grab some extra fruit as he wanted to make a fruit juice blend. As he walked along though, the blond heard some people talking about a gold beast woman. He shrugged this off as he walked down the path to the place. Kail was dressed in some casual clothes he had, but on his rear waist was his crafted Gunblade weapon. It was a basic black long sleeve shirt and some blue shorts with boots for footwear. His hands though were in some fingerless gloves. Then he got to the farming area and would hear more and more about this woman, until he saw her himself. Kail just raised an eyebrow as people were fretting and confused by a Sayter of all things. But they did not bat an eyelash at a elves, orcs, or lizard men?
Kail figured that he might as well help the lady out, since he was apprenticing for Mysteria. He might as well lessen the load she was dealing with on greeting Fated. So he approached her slowly and saw that she was asleep, Kail could not blame her due to the fact that there was some kind of jet lag from world hopping. "Excuess me miss, are you ok" he called out to her but kept a bit of distance. Since he did not want to get rammed by her. Since that was going to hurt and may kill him from the impact.

She hadn’t really meant to fall asleep. Though, it had been a nice sleep. Her body seemed so tired for some reason, though all she’d been doing during the day was walking. Maybe the light took her energy? Iris woke to the sound of a voice— really, many voices, whispering, pointing, staring. She had been right to assume the people here didn’t know what she was.
Her ears focused on a particular voice that wasn’t talking about her, but to her. Her yellow eyes turned, sharp, onto a man with long blond hair. She cocked her head to the side. Why was this man brave enough to speak to her while everyone else was frightened? She didn’t mind, but it seemed odd to her. Yes… I believe I am.. Iris pushed herself off of the grass, ruffling the dirt from her fur, and pulling a piece of bark out of her curly hair.
However I do have a few questions… would you be able to help me? she took a hesitant step forward. She didn’t want to scare him away like everyone else. She needed answers. She needed to know what happened.

Kail sees that she was showing some caution as well as the sayter woman woke up and got up from where she was resting. He showed no fear as she moved since he had seen enough in this world "Yeah, it seems that its been my unofficial job to help some people with there questions" he said and looked rather relaxed compared to some others that were around. It may have come across as someone in charge or something of that nature. "If you want we can talk at the tavern, I am sure you might want something to drink. And where are my manners, I'm Killian Lancaster. You may call me Kail if you like" he said introducing himself to the blond haired woman.

Iris let out a sigh of relief when he agreed to answer her questions. From the tone of his voice, she was far from the first to go though…. whatever the hell she had just gone through. Perhaps his caution wasn’t from her race, but from how others in the past had reacted. Whatever the reason, she stepped slowly closer to him, her eyes darting around at the others who stepped away. She sighed again. Finding a new life here may be difficult if people couldn’t even be around her in an open area.
A tavern does sound nice, thank you. Thankfully she knew what those were. So far, aside from the scared people, and far less eye appealing architecture, this world was not so different from her own… So far. When the man introduced himself, Iris smiled. Manners were not the first thing on her mind either.
It’s a pleasure to meet you Kail. I am known as Iris. Iris Maedeha. Call me what you wish. By the sounds of things, gold beast woman is the most popular around here. Iris let out a laugh, bold and loud, cause a few people to stare harder, confused even further. At this point she had made her way close enough to Kail to put out her hand, to shake his.

"I think most people are not use to seeing a Satyr. I've seen enough things here that its made me desensitized to some things. Anyway lets head to the tavern, if you have a few questions I can answer them on the way there. Most people are not gona harm you anyway, most see you and don't take this the wrong way but a curiosity then a threat" he said rubbing the back of his head. Kail was trying to get out there and talk with more people. "Anyway Iris I am not sure if the quality of wine is up to your standards at the tavern. Since I have been cutting back on a lot of alcohol" he said and motioned with his hand for her to follow him. Since he wanted to get moving slightly since the blond was in need of something to drink. Kail though was trying to go through where Iris might have came from. Since she could have been any number of unnamed fantasy worlds. As he did think he was already starting to head to the tavern.

Iris looked at him, surprised. He knew what she was? You know my race? Yet everyone here does not seem to… Why is that? She began to walk behind him, becoming more curious of this man. Nice as he seemed, he was very knowledgable, and she hoped that didn’t backfire for her.
Oh, I’m sure it will be fine. I rarely drink myself. Though after whatever the hell I’m going to hear, I may need one. Why are you cutting back, if I may be so bold to ask. Iris’ hooves clicked as she walked, and she noticed how he looked at her curiously as well.
So… where am I?

"To that question I am not exactly sure, I mean I know your race from myths and lores from my world. But here in this one, as I said I don't really know. Either there not common or exsist in this realm or world. This world in question is called Teair Nova, beings such as who have been spirited away from our homes have been called Fated" said Kail as people were less gossiping about Iris and getting back to there daily business. They would pass other people on the way to the tavern. Most doing the daily grind of things, like opening a few stalls and store fronts. They would finally get into the Drunken Kray and it was moderately busy at this time of the day. Kail finds a table and pulls out a chair for Iris and then goes over to the counter and orders a bottle of wine and whatever was being cooked at the time. "I'm sure you have more questions for me since I opened Pandora's Box" he said as a figure of speech. He did not know if this women would get what he was saying.

Iris kept to his left, and a little behind him, as was what she was used to when walking with men. Teair Nova… Interesting. You are saying I am in an entirely different world from my own? Who has done this, and why is he tearing people away from their lives? Iris sounded dumbfounded, but not at all caring for the fact she’d been world hopped against her will.
When they entered the tavern, she noticed it was not all to different from ones she knew, save for the people, menu items, and the interior design. The overall idea stayed the same. Iris sits when Kail pulls out a chair, smiling at him awkwardly. She was not used to any sort of care from people. They found her weird - at least her clan did— and humans in her world used her for quests or obtaining things they could not. No one ever looked at her like a person, nor did they do kind things like pulling out a chair.
When Kail returned, she looked at him stunned. You know of Pandora’s box? Please do not tell me you have it in your possession!? That is a wicked thing! Iris flinched away slightly, her hand immediately going to the pack on her side. (O.C. In Iris’s home world, the Mythology of Pandoras box was still very alive and well, and people believed it still existed and could bring havoc to their home. Though Pandora’s box was originally a woman (( the first woman every created in Greek mythology)) the was over time considered a box. The myth was that a man opened it from curiosity, and let everything out, terror, danger, fear, desperation, and by the time mankind managed to close the box, the only thing left inside was hope.)

"I honestly don't know why some of us are selected, some of it seems random. Some are rather deliberate choices to be dropped in here. What I know is that we are to change something in this world. I am still trying to find that meaning. The being that brought us here is the Demi-God of Destiny, Fate" said Kail as he came back over with a bottle of wine and two glasses. When he hears the mentioning of Pandora's Box and if he had it in his possession. He then went over things in his head before speaking "I apologize for the wrong choice of words. I do not have that box and it does not exist here. So where were you from before you got dragged to this world. I mean, I would hazzerd a guess that you were from Greece. Where the gods and goddess like Zeus, Hera, and Hades exist there" the blond said and poured a glass of wine for Iris and then one for himself. This was a surprise for him though, since he did not expect a being from an alternate Earth. Where the greek gods existed and all of those other mythical creatures and beings existing in that reality.

So it was all random. She was not chosen for any true purpose— or at least it was not likely so. A Demi-God is doing all this?! Such power… Why does his elders not stop him? If he is only a Demi-God, I see no reason why he would be allowed to continue. Iris shook her head, taking the bottle and pouring some of the liquid into the glass. She smiled her thanks.
Thankfully, Kail — though she would prefer to call him Killian — changed his word choice, assuring her that the terrible box didn’t exist in this world. You are correct. Though I wandered from both Greek and Rome. Both beautiful and terrible in their own rights. But as to which side I am loyal to… neither. Now, the Gods never did anything for me, but I was raised on the Greek half, that much I’ll admit.
Iris glanced at him curiously. He knew her race, and the names of the gods… Yes, they do exist there. Many of them, and all of the ones ever made. Very much alive and well… Where do you come from? She assumed again that he was not from this world she had landed in, but she did not believe he was from her own...

"That part I am not sure of, its been vauge. But something did cause him to do this again its still a mystery to figure out. I'm just a actor like you are in this play of life in this world" said Kail as he was not sure what the situation was. Actually what was the deal with the gods them selves, he never encountered one face to face. But had seen there influance and presance such as him having the knife of destiny. But other then that, he had seen nothing at all. As they drank there wine he heard Iris telling about her travels of her world as she had went between Greece and Rome. Then she asked him about where he came from. "I come from a simular world that is the same but diffrent. Diffrent in the sense that there is a massive time gap......I come at least maybe 2000 or so years into the future. Plus beings such as your self only exsist in stories. As well as the gods and goddesses in myths and stories, but other things are in my history" he said and then took another sip of the wine as he tried to drink in modderation.
"Technology and science are the main things from my world. But being brought to Nova has changed things, as magic and real divine beings exsist. As well as dragons other deadly beasts from meer stories and fairytales. So I have made do with what I got in this place. Just trying to persavear like many of the heros. Such as Jason, Hercules, and many others, I am no hero but I do what I can" said Kail as for him that was true. Since he had done a few things that were not nice and was flawed in a few areas. But he tried to do better now then he was before.

Iris shook her head when Kail said he didn’t know. The Gods really could be dicks now couldn’t they? Iris downed her glass of wine, not realizing she should be acting more polite, like a woman. She flung her arms in the air and stretched them above her head, causing her already short shirt, rise a little higher, her toned belly coming into view, as well as parts of her ribcage, Once she lowered her arms, her shirt fell back on the middle of her ribcage, and she turned her neck in attempt to crack it. Damn that tree put a kink in my neck! Iris rubbed the back of her neck sorely, feeling various strands of hair under her palm. She didn’t even want to know what she look like right now. It wasn’t her primary concern, as she was a fighter first and woman second, but she was still a woman.
Huh. So you’re from my future? Odd. The gods, my race, we don’t exist for you anymore? What about hippocampie? Nymph? Minotaurs? Iris narrowed her eyes, a small pit in her stomach appearing, making her feel uneasy. The thought that in the future of her world her race would no longer exist… nothing by a wives tale. She reached for her cup, bringing it to her lips to drink, and a single drop fell onto her top lip, dissolving over it. She lowered the cup to the table, having forgotten she’d already finished it.
She listened curiously as he spoke of his world, putting her elbows on the table and leaning forward, eyes lit with curiosity. At the mention of Hercules, she laughed and leaned back into her chair. Oh, Gods. Heracles? Hercules? Does the future meddles with our titles? And though he was a hero, you shouldn’t strive to be him— trust me. Iris wiped at her eyes, shaking her head. Quite the man he is. Like father like son.. Iris chuckled, not thinking to explain that Zeus was the sleaziest of the sleaze. Damn man slept with everyone and is son followed in his footsteps. Now, that wasn’t what made her laugh, but the ignorance, the absolute arrogance that they both held— that was her problem with them.
Iris calmed down, her bright yellow eyes studying over Kail slowly. His build was decent, though he was a tad lanky. Tall, probably muscles hiding in there somewhere. She focused on his eyes, finding them a bright green. There was passion there. He really wanted to help this world. You can be the hero they need. Give it time. Her voice was dead serious, her eyes still boring into his for a moment longer, before blinking and breaking the spell, taking a deep breath while looking down at her body, a little dust covered from sleeping under a tree.

"Woah woah woah.....hold on I said my world is simular not the same one. And the time I came from is much farther along then yours. I am sorry if I caused you panic, and confusion" said Kail as he did not mean to freak Iris out like that. He did remember about the crick in her neck and the blond gets up and first pours another glass of wine for the woman. Then gets right behind her. "Don't get alarmed but I am going to do something that will ease that away" Kail said and activated the fire gems on both bracelets. But set them on a extremely low heat and gently applied his hands on the part of the neck that was aching. Using the heat and massaging that area to remove the pain, using at least some knowlage from his world and using it there. "Huh......I guess my moddern world either edited the stories of that man. Or just did not include those parts when telling these stories about him to children" he said and gently tried to get that kink out of Iris's neck.
"Thank you for that vote of confidence, is your neck doing any better" he asked since he did see her gaze at him intently. Kail was not sure if he was going to have enough room at his place now. Since he was having a few guest coming in and out. Perhaps it was time for him to get a better place just for living rather then just living out of his shop. Since he had a feeling that Iris would be coming back with him back to his house.

Kails words did slightly ease her worry. No, it’s fine. I jumped to conclusions… She looked at him carefully as he stood, smiling as he poured her more wine. She picked the cup up, but as she raises it to her lips, she stops, noting he had moved behind her. He told her not to worry, he was going to help, but her body tensed all the same. What was he doing?
In an instance she felt the warmth, creeping into her shoulders and neck as his hands worked into the muscles there, heat prenatrating her pain. Oh…my… She relaxed, the cup going back onto the table with a small thud as she was unable to hold it up. Whatever he was doing felt like magic on her skin. What spell is this… Her tone was muddled, lost in the movements of his hands as she leaned back into them without thinking. She didn’t comment on his words of Heracles, not feeling the need to explain further as of now.
Don’t doubt yourself Sir, or you will never achieve your high power. She murmured softly her eyes closed. She could tell just by talking to him this short time that he wasn’t uber confidant in subjects concerning himself. Not the way he ought to be anyhow. And yes, Yes my neck feels great, thank you Killian. She turned her neck to look up at him, smiling brightly, amber eyes glowing in the dimly lit tavern.
