Magical Arrival (Open)

[Nyx]

Nyx cursed the light it wasn’t Zepon’s light that sometimes protect his chosen in battle it was different almost as if another God was kidnapping her. It wasn’t unheard of for God’s to kidnap another, but it rarely happened. Panic rose up into her as the left her scream for her sister seem to be unheard even to her own ears. Reaching for her staff as she waited for the light to die down knowing that she might have to fight if it was another God that kidnapped her.

The grip on her staff tightens as light started to fade around her, as soon as the light faded she didn’t waste a moment. “Lights of the world guide this servant with the power to power those she care about. Zepon Guide me!” She said the chant that was natural to her as breathing as the familiar yet at the same time the different magic of Zepon encircle her as if it had changed somehow. Feeling her clothes reform into her armor, the blue gloves forming first followed by her outfit of a blue swimsuit, then her stocking and finally her golden wings which wrap around her body protecting her during the last moments of transforming.

Unfolding her wings she did a quick check still not sure why the magic felt strange. Seeing that her outfit was the still the same she finally took a look around at her surroundings. It wasn't what she was expecting, the crystals that ran along the ceiling of the cavern made it seem as if it was daytime, almost as if it was touched by magic. Giving her wings a small flutter to lift her off the ground as she grabs her bag that was dropped when she first landed in this strange place. A farm not too far off and if she was seeing clearly there was a lake in the middle.

“Father… I believe that you fortune has come true.” Staying hovering above the ground but out of reach of anyone. She finally notices that some people were looking at her in awe while others just seem to continue on with their normal business. Seeing nothing else she made a mental checklist of things that she is gonna need to right away from there she is, where to find Zepon and finally a mirror. “Can someone answer a few questions for me?” Projecting her voice so that everyone who was close by could clearly hear her.

Kail needed to get out a bit and went by the crystal lake and needed to train or get use to his Gunblade weapon he made. Doing several test swings and cuts with this deadly weapon, it somehow became in theory an anti mage weapon. But at the moment though he was boosting its power with the gems he had in his bracelet. Kail had brought along several other weapons to do some training. But changed his mind as he needed to get familure with his own creation. After awhile and then sheathed his weapon. Kail mostly dressed in shorts and a shirt rather then pants when going around day to day. The blond was heading back into the center of Gallows bane as he was going to browse around for new materials for some of the things he was making. As he walked in though he saw someone flying about and landing and he did not pay it any mind. Since he had seen dragons flying and other creatures running around. While walking about he sees someone that was slightly out of place.

It was the same girl that was floating about and was about to accidently look up at a spot where it could cause him to get slapped. "I might be able to answer some of your questions. And you might want to come down on to the ground" he said to Nyx and felt that he was going to regret doing this. As it was a gut feeling he had in his head.

Floating a little closer to the person who called out to her, he seems to be dress in clothes that would remind her of her world. Still she didn’t know if he could be trusted if she was to let down her guard even if he did have the answers to her questions. Deciding that if she did have to fight she would prefer to be prepared, carefully she landed on the ground keeping her distance away from him. Her wings folded on her back as she pointed her staff at him as she took a defensive position. She wasn’t sure how much of her magic she had in this world, but she did pray that she had at least one attack spell.


“First don’t come any closer till you tell if your name and where I am?” Nyx used her other than to gesture to the cavern and everything around them. “I’m guessing I am not in Laven anymore.” Depending on his answer she would have lowered her staff just a little and took a few steps closer to him. Now that she got a closer look at him he reminded her of someone that she went to the academy with but surely whoever brought her to this world wouldn’t have brought another recent graduate.

Kail just cocked an eyebrow when she floated down and aimed her rod weapon at him asking for name. "......Wow really trying to threaten someone that's trying to help you. Things like that can get you killed. Also whatever powers you had originally most of them are gone. So don't think intimidation is going to work here" the look on Kail's face was that he was not impressed and just rolled his eyes at Nyx. He wanted to be ass right now. Since he could over power this girl, but karma could come back on him. Since that would be a rather bad idea right now. Although if the girl got angered and attacked him. Kail did have something including his weapon and a few spells he learned from this world. But Kail did answer her question in a off handed way as she was not in her original world. Nyx would have to pay attention to the large weapon that was on his waist. It did look like a sword but at the same time there was a over sized revolver gun like mounting for the handle.

"So the ball is now in your court again miss" said Kail as he then crosses his arms over his chest. In a action to show that again he was not intimidated by this girl. As well as come at me, since he was confident in his own abilities.

Nyx rolled her eyes at him never once relaxing her stance. “Well sorry that I don’t trust people who come with answers armed,” She said as she pointed with her staff at his arm having taken notice of the weapon. Where she was from the only people that carried weapons were the protectors of the kingdom, which meant one of two things this world either followed the same rules as her or everyone here no matter who there were could carry a weapon. It also meant that the young man if it any of these was someone that she didn’t want to trust right away. The grip on her staff tighten as her fears were confirmed about her powers possibility being less than she was she used to back in Laven, she only prayed that Zepon had not abandoned her in this world.


Staring down Kail knowing that if had to come down to a fight for her to get the information that she needed she would lose in magic but maybe if she was fast enough she could make it up in hand to hand combat, plus she could fly. As soon as she thought of flying her wings spread out behind her flutter a little making her hover a few inches above the ground. “I don’t know who you are, or which Pantheon you follow.” Her voice strong not letting any of her fear show of the possibility of a fight. “Just because you want to help me doesn’t mean you are trustworthy.” Her eyes never leaving him as she searched his eyes for anything that could tell her that he was can be trusted. “So tell me something that should make me trust you. Cause after seeing an attack coming towards my sister as that stupid light took me away from her. Even having been told that this would happen to me three years that I would be taken from my own world and into another.” Taking a calming breath as she was taught, doing her best to calm down her emotions.

"The world outside of this location is dangerious, so I have to have a weapon" said Kail as he watched the girl tighten her grip on her staff. It seemed that this girl was getting too worked up or perhaps he chose his words wrong. More then likely it was the second thing but still a magical staff being pointed at you that could fire a spell off like a gun. It did not set well with him at all and this was turning into a mexican stand off. Then she started to sputter stuff about the parthanon and what divine being he was worshiping. This was rich as it was another person from an alternate Nova. Why did these kinds of people really piss him off? "Oh for very thing that's holy, just shut up and hear what I have to say. One your not in the same world you know. As the god of destiny, Fate has pulled you into this world, like my self. This is Teair Nova, I don't know what freaking year this is. That's all I know" he said sounding very annoyed and angry as he drew his blade. With his other hand he pushed up his glasses. The light in the cave glinting off turning them pure white and not being able to see his eyes.

"But if you continue to hold that magic stick in my face. I will attack and trust me be you don't want to fight me" said Kail as the bracelet on his right hand glowed and the weapon started to glow red hot. While the left one started to crackle with electricity as the left one was glowing. "I might be too prideful and quick to anger, but I am not going to be pushed around by any Novian. I've had enough shit, so let me ask you. Do you feel lucky today because I do" he said in a pretty deadly tone. He was now in no mood for anyone's shit today as it seemed that for Nyx.

Nyx’s thoughts were confirmed with his words of the world being a dangerous place outside of this carven. She never expected that this would happen that she would enter a world that is more dangerous than her own, then again the Gods’ wouldn’t have pulled her into a world that was safe. A scowl made it say to her face as his disrespect to the Gods of her home. “Look I don’t give a rat’s ass about Fate the God of destiny. Hell, where I am from his kingdom, is the most peaceful and doesn’t start wars.” Her angry starting to raise as she remembered back to training to not let her emotions enter into a battle it could be the difference between life and death. “Hell, I don’t care what year it since I can tell you that I have never heard of Nova before. Where am I from different Parthenon rule kingdoms and mine is at war with other kingdoms; if you would shut your trap and listen to what I say, Or did you miss the part about my sister getting caught up in an attack.” She huffed if she wasn’t standing her ground she would have folded her arms and pouted like a child.


“So now my staff scares you. We’re you the one who said that my magic was limited in this world. I will also not stand down till I know you are not just going to slice me into shaved ice.” Watching his movements as his right hand glowed red, she did feel the newly added electricity in the air more so her hair felt it as some of it started to stand on ends. “Men and they pride always even in this world there are the same.”


Her eye started to twitch at him calling her a race that she was, this uncapped the angry that she was trying to keep in. “Do I look like a damn Novian to you whatever the hell that is!! Now you are quoting movie lines I’m damn as shock that you didn’t add 'well do you punk.' Honestly I will fight you if I have to get the information that I need. So far you only answered one of my questions, have threaten me which I am pretty sure is gonna come back and bite you on the ass one and I am hope I am there to witness it.” Feeling into her magic in her veins trying to get a feel what spells she still had access to, feeling only the water in the air and the lake calling to her. Mumbling the chant under her breath letting the water form at the end of her staff preparing herself. “Now I would prefer to end this peaceful you tell me all I need to know and we never have to be bothered with each other ever again, or I swear on my mother Belldandy that I wouldn’t be the only one who will have scratches on their body if we have to fight.” She said not caring how her tone might have sounded to him as she wished she at access to more offensive magic the focus put into it would cause more damage than the water itself.

As Kail was about to make a charge he gripped his head as he deactivated the lightning gem on his wrist. Nyx could see something was a bit wrong. As his face went pale as several thoughts were going through his head. "What the hell am I doing here! She's not Novian, why am I so enraged. Am I taking out my anger out on her since I am not able to do anything against the kingdom" were some of his thoughts. Even though he had been getting rest, he had not been getting a full night's sleep. Something was coming at him when he would dream, none of it made sense as the images were blurred. As well as too many voices speaking at the same time becoming just babble to him. Kail did not know what there meaning was at all. He looked up at Nyx as he dropped to one knee as his thoughts were coming at him and it was getting a bit too much. Kail then looked up at Nyx.

"Let me apologize miss, there have been some things that have been going on in my life. And its cause me to take my anger and frustrations out on you. So I am sorry, if you want to beat the living hell out of me feel free to do so. I do not know if that will ease your anger but its a start" he said as he stood up and he did look sorry on the matter. Perhaps when he would speak with Mysteria or perhaps someone at the Moon Temple could help him. He was getting a bit out of hand with things, was this due to him isolating himself from others? Was he falling into utter madness?

Nyx watched Kail careful as she waited for him to make the first move since she was in unfamiliar territory and fighting without knowing much about this world and fighting style. Seeing and feeling the lighting dying down her eyes forces on his face and notice that he seemed in pain, not caring about her wellbeing she dropped her water ball letting it splash the small space between the two of them.



Letting her wings take her the short distance that was between the two of them she landed just in front of him. Quickly attaching her staff to her belt making a mental note to adjust the outfit for it to be on her back, she place her hand on his shoulder flashing him a smile. “It is okay. Honestly between us I do hate fighting, so I am not going to beat you up.” Thinking for a moment of maybe a way so that he doesn’t feel guilty for what he did. “How about some chocolate or candy and telling about this place a little and we forget that this happened, and you let me do a reading on out.”



Stepping back from him her anger having been defused by a lot because of the simple apologize. “If that doesn’t work then maybe you could help me find a mirror that lets me see into other worlds so I can find out if my sister survived the attack.” Her eyes sadden at the thought of her sister having died because of her destiny taking away from her world. “So let’s start over.” Flashing him another smile. “My name is Nyx I am from Laven, where I am from I am protector of my kingdom which is ruled by Zepon.” Her smile never wavering a bit. “You are if I am so bold to ask?”

Kail sees that his senses were getting back to him and sees that Nyx had some sympathy for him. As it seemed that she herself did not want to fight it out. He took a minute to let her speak before he used his weapon to brace himself and stood back up. "My shop and living space is not too far away from here. I don't have candy but I think I have some dried fruit. Its going to be next to impossible to find chocolate in a medevil era" he said and placed his weapon away into its sheath. Kail then shakes his head and looks at Nyx. "I'm Killian Lancaster, a jack of all trades. And as I said this is Teair Nova, the location your in is Gallows Bane. You might be stuck in the past? Since Zepon does exsist in this world" he said and motioned with his hand for Nyx to follow him. As they started to walk a bit they would see the Arcane Cross building and the sign outside of it.

"Just to let you know, I'm not from this world either. I think I might have a small mirror but its not a full body one....if you have devinitation like powers. Can't you use water or something for that or you need a mirror" Kail asked as he was never sure on that kind of thing.

Nyx let her transformation end as the blessing of Zepon left her in the form of black lights as her armor reformed to her normal clothes that she was wearing when she first came into Nova. Picking up her bag and placing it back on her shoulder she smiled at Kail. “No chocolate and no candy what kind of world is this.” Laughing a little as she decided to find a way to get her sweets in this world. “Stuck in a past version of my world, well I never thought it would be that.” Following him towards the building that he pointed out letting it sink in that could be the past of her own world.



“Well to be honest I never done it before with water and always a mirror. I’m also worried if my powers are less in this world I might not even be able to.” Shaking those thoughts from her head with her mother’s and father’s blood surely she could create a small window to another world for short moment to check on her family. “What is the world like where you are from?”

"I would not know on powers, magic or things like that. Since the world I came from has no magic or divine beings that are real" Kail then opens up the door to his place the Arcane Cross. When they get inside there would be a store front with various things. He then opens the door for the back of the the place. On the far side of the place had a forge and several work tables. There was also a small Alchemic Lab in another section and on the very last area was a living area that had a kitchen, a table, and several couches. "The hand mirror is over there" he said and went over to one of the bigger couches and takes the gunblade and its sheath off and places it next to the couch. The blond then goes to his cooler he made and pours himself a cold glass of water. He then goes over to said couch and sits down and takes a few gulps of water. "Make your self at home, just don't touch the Alchemy lab or the forge and your fine" he said and leans back on the couch.

"I will say that technology from my world is rather advanced we don't have robots or androids but we got the cool stuff" he said and just tries to chill out for right now.

Nyx nodded her head understanding that this world was a bring change for Kail since he was from a less magical one. Other than the fact that this was in a different time period she might be able to find a way to adjust it much quicker. Walking through the door she looked around, it well kept if anything. Her eyes drew to the Alchemic Lab before looking away from it.


Nodding her head again, she moved to where he said the hand mirror was, picking it up she tried to channel her magic into it. Her hopes die each passing second as only a small ripple would appear on the glass before disappearing. Shuffling to the couch the mirror will in her hand as she tried to see into her world. Finally placing the mirror down next to her, she took off her bag and took out her cards, cellphone and the picture of her family.


Looking up at Kail her smile much more faded than before as she listened to him. “No robot huh. How close was your world to creating robots.” She said trying to distract herself from her failure of seeing her family even though a looking glass. Moving her hands based on memory she powered down her cellphone not knowing when she would get a power source to charge. Next her hands place the cards on the table slowly shuffling them. “You said something was troubling you before. I can check to see what the cards tell me if you?”
