Volke finally reaches Nova as the sun just passed its highest point. Casting a reddish hue on the walls as Volke passes through the gates. Walking past the streets filled with people he starts thinking 'How will i find Sai in a place like this. for one i don't even know how she looks like'. As he continues wandering, he walks to what seems to be a tavern " The Bloody Mary" Volke muttered "Guess its as good as a place as any to look for information". As he opens the door, holding onto a sack slung over his right shoulder he walks to the bar and takes a seat at a stool in front of the bartender. putting a coin on the bar "a glass of water please" volke says. After the bartender hands him a glass of water Volke scans the bar as he realizes there are people staring at him. putting the sack down under his feet he then puts a hand on his dagger as a precaution and speaks to the bartender again " hey have you ever heard of a girl named Sai? she should be about in her mid 20s low 30s and extremely tall probably into assassination jobs, and has a piece of silver jewelry with a sapphire somewhere on her body? " as volke shows his ring to the bartender " a piece of jewelry like this?". The bartender looks at the ring then at volke like he was crazy " I don't recall of anyone who matches your description sorry kiddo."He says in loud and joyous voice before leaning close to Volke and whispers "and from me to you, you seem like a newcomer so be careful on what you show people and what you say. this tavern is filled with all types of people. its common for newcomers like yourself to get robbed after speaking or showing a bit to much". Volke finishes drinking his glass of water thanking the bartender before grabbing his sack throwing it over his shoulder as he turns and starts walking out before he is suddenly stopped.

Sai have been at the Bloody Mary most of the afternoon watching the people come on and leave with no new information, at the moment because of the lack of jobs to do she had to fill in with odd jobs and doing things that don't mean her skills. Her mind cross over to Kail thinking maybe she should offer to work for him, it did seem like a reasonable idea. Calling to one of the barmaid she orders another mug of ale placing her coins on the counter for it as she listened out for anyone who might need a hand.
Suddenly the door open and in walked a young man, who she never seen before, A ghost of a smirk appeared on her lips as she took a sip of her ale, new people either mean new jobs or new fated. Lending against the counter she took small sips of her drink as she listen to the young man. Now she had to admit that this was interesting to say the least since he was looking for her. Dusting off her shirt and her pants she quickly placed her hair over her shoulder have decided to braid it today.
Turning to the young man she tapped his shoulder, waiting to see if he would turn and look at her before speaking. “Well young man, I happen to know who you are looking for but it will cost you.” She looked him up and down licking her lips, oh she was going to have fun with this one for sure. “Now tell me why do you need Lady Sai?” Having lowered her voice to not be overheard by the others.

Volke realized that a woman was behind her who started talking to him turning around and hearing what she had to say. 'it seems like this person could lead me to Sai i shouldn't let this lead slip away' I think as i stare at her "My name is Volke i'm her adopted brother. our father sent me to find her to give her this letter " pulling a letter out of his pocket and waves it in front of the girl "and that she would know its not a lie by showing her this ring" Volke says with a smile. Thinking that the girl means him no harm he lowers his guard against her as his mind floods with thoughts on how and who exactly would be his older sister. "i would love if you could lead me to her as soon as possible". He then realizes some ruffians on the table not to far from him staring. Volke quickly lowered his voice and whispers to the girl " looks like the guys over there might look for some trouble soon so we should go somewhere. they been looking at us for i think the whole time we been talking" as Volke holds onto his dagger hoping a conflict wouldn't start on his first day in Nova

She raised a single eyebrow at his explained his reasoning behind finding her, it was a new one for sure. Normally her father would send one of his men to fetch her for a job but sending someone to claimed to be another child of her father that was new for sure even for her. Her eyes quickly moved to the letter seeing the seal of her father on it for sure, meaning that wasn’t a trap or a trick, but she still had to be on her guard.
Taking another sip of her drink as she let her mind process everything that she just been told. So her father had another child but he seem what was the world less trained in the ways of life. Placing her mug down she looked at the ring for a moment closely it did seem to resemble her own necklace. Unconsciously her hand moved to her necklace playing with it for a moment before her hand fell back down to her lap.
Her eyes moved towards the people Volke was talking about she knew them a little from some encounters but not personally. Sliding off her stool she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ears. “Don’t worry about those guys they harmless unless you annoy them. Let’s go I know where you can meet your sister.” Turning on her heel not seeing if he was going to follow her or not, giving one last look at the men before she pushes out the door.
Stepping to the side she lent against the wall watching the people go by as she wonder what her father wanted this time that he couldn’t have sent his normal men. Looking at her supposal brother from the corner of her eye she wondered if he truly was trained by her father because he is too open and naive to have been trained by him, then again the ring did prove that he was. She swear she was gonna murder her father next time she sees him. “So do you know what is in the letter or are you just in the dark about it.” She said as she pushed herself off the wall and started walking down the path heading to the third district.

"Im in the dark on what the letter holds as well" Volke said, "all I know is that I must give this to Sai. Father said the letter will explain everything." As Volke walks side by side with this woman. They continue walking down a path unknown to Volke. "So where are we heading to?" Volke asked.
As they continue walking Volke had a since of nostalgia realizing the further they walked down this path the worse the condition of living is for people. Seeing people down sitting down on the street, small disputes on the road, people in rags or cloaks caused Volke to show a look of disdain as he keeps walking with this person.
"How long until we get there? its getting darker as we walk" he asks hoping the woman would say we're almost there. he quickly moves a hand down onto his dagger as he notices the noise in the area became significantly louder. which he thought was weird since it should be close to night time already. "where are we?" Volke asked in a quiet voice right before the woman just stops.

Listening to him as she spoke wondering what her father told him about her surely the boy couldn’t be that slow, and her father would have told him about her strange eye colour. “So what do you know about your sister.” Honestly, she wanted to see what he knew about her before she told him anyway.
Passing some of the homeless people she took a few coins out and gave it to them. These people the children mostly were the ones that she used to help transport information since people don’t truly see homeless people are a threat. Plus she liked being in this area of the city it reminded her of home in a strange sense. Casting a look towards her brother she notice that he seem a little distress walking down these streets.
Stopping in front of a house that she calls her homes for the time being until she gets another job and find herself in a better home. It wasn’t much just a small single floor home with two windows in the front. Pushing open the door she was greeted by one of the children that she normally let stay with her. Patting her head, “Hello Rose, this guy is my friend. Would you tell the others to stay out of the common area while we talk.” Watching her nod her head she led Volke down the short hallway which open up to a common area with a kitchen off to the right.
Moving she took a seat on one of the chairs and gestured to the other one. “Would you like anything to drink, eat or do you want to get straight down to business.” Speaking to him as she crossed her legs watching him trying to get a true feel on him.

"Hmm not much, father never really mentioned much about Sai. only that she should be around her mid 20's and low 30s show she's extremely tall, is an assassin like me, and has a piece of jewelry similar to my ring." volke says clearly. he then sits down on the chair. "some food would be nice, i haven't eaten since i got into nova."
After answering the woman he finally notices the place he's in and starts looking around noticing how the place seemed rundown for a girl like her. Putting his sack down in front of him he looks at the woman wondering what was going to happen now. " I guess this is your place then? Sorry i never did ask for your name. Mines Volke " he said as he extended a hand for a handshake.
As he was talking he notices that the kids were eavesdropping from behind the door but didn't think much of it so he just let it go. Still waiting for the woman to tell him her name and to shake his hand he stared at her " you know your eyes are pretty i never seen anyone with your eye color before. are you perhaps not human? sorry that might have seemed a bit rude. " volke said with a smile as he wonders what will happen next.

“So you pretty much don’t know anything about her huh.” She wanted to rest her head in her hands but resisted the urge to do so. Surely her father would have given him a better description of her but apparently not given what he just told her. “I hope you don’t mind a simple stew.” As if on cue one of the older children came around the corner with a tray that had bread, cheese, two glasses of milk and an amusement of fruits on it and place it between the two of them. “Thank you, Kevin. Can you make sure the others get cleaned I’m making dinner tonight.” She said in a soft voice as she watch him nod his head.
“It is one of my places.” Taking his hand in her she shook it. “It’s more of a home for some of the children that don't have anywhere to go. I provide what little I could for them.” She said noticing that he seem to notice some of the kids eavesdroppings and not getting ready for dinner. A ghost of a smile graced her lips as she thought about them getting some food before heading home.
Avoiding the question on her name for a moment she laugh a little when he finally noticed her eyes. “Well thank you. You are right I am not human and nothing to be rude about.” Thinking for a moment if she would tell him the truth since it can’t be avoided any longer. Reaching behind her neck she unclasp her necklace taking it off and holding it in front of him for him to notice the sapphire gem stone on it. “My name is Sai, but I guess you can call me sister.”

"Wait your Sai!?" Volke shouted in confusion. "But I thought Sai was alot taller. And well human since father was human. Guess that means your adopted as well?" Volke continues to ask questions as he was looking at his so called sister. "I have so many things to ask but first, why didn't you tell me earlier instead of right now. " Volke hands Sai the letter "here father wanted you to read this"
After handing Sai the letter he starts eating his food. 'I wonder what sister thinks of me, what she actually is, and why did father ask me to find her' as questions start filling his head he wonders what will happen now.
"Umm sister? Are you perhaps an assassin? Why are you taking care of kids?" Volke asks in a quiet voice hoping he didn't offend his sister. He continues looking at sai confused why she looked and seem so much different from what their father described her as. Unknowing to himself he had a look of doubt on his face as he continues to look at his so called sister. Though the necklace proved that she could be his sister. He knew stuff could easily be stolen. Without realizing it he slowed his eating pace down as one of his hands moved lower towards his dagger.

Nodding her head she picked up the glass of milk taking a sip of it honestly she truly wondered what kind of description their father gave him. “I am normally taller. Well for me I was his servant girl before I became his daughter because of my gift.” She said as she took a sip of her milk before reaching for a grape and plopping it in her mouth. “I wanted to see how much you knew about me.” Taking the letter, she quickly opened it.
Dear Lily,
I am guessing that if you are reading this you brother found you. Guess what he is your responsibility to take care of now. Also just an added bonus you are now betrothed to him I do want grandchildren and an heir. Anyway take care of him and remember to have fun with him as well.
With love and poison, Father.
Sighing out loud after reading the letter, she looked up at her brother and future husband according to her father. Honestly, what did her father see in him for him to make such a decision. Folding the letter, she, carefully placed it on the table. “You can read the letter if you want it considers the both of us.” “Hm… I am but not too many jobs. As for the children they part of how I run things and blend in. Didn’t father teach you that much? You can’t stick out if you are going to be in this kind of business.” Standing up she moved her neck around before letting her body does its normal thing, feeling her bones breaking, stretching and reforming until she was at her proper height. “Also I am part elf so I don’t age like humans I might be older than you but I will look a bit younger.”
Sitting back down her eyes watched him for a moment as she notice that he started to slow down his pace in eating. Closing her eyes and sighing she reached down into her boot pulling out a dagger, holding it with the point in her hand she looked at him. “Surely you don’t think I would poison you?” Now even waiting for a response she threw the dagger being sure to keep her aim so that it just flies past his ear, making him feel a simple breeze and the dagger sticks in the wall. “Also if I wanted to kill you it wouldn’t be around children.”
Standing up she dusted off her clothes not caring that her back was turned to him, as she walked towards the little kitchen area. “Now you can either believe me or you can leave. Even if you are my brother and father said I have to take care of you he never said you had to let me.”

"Dont be silly sister, I would had noticed if the food was poisoned or not. And father only taught me combat skills and usage of poisons. I was basically self-taught on how to be an assassin." Volke said confidently with a laugh "Sorry Sai is just i had my doubts if you were my sister since father didn't give me any information about that you could shape shift, or that you were part elf.
After telling Sai the truth he moves his hand from his dagger and picks up the letter to read it. Blushing at the comments filled with embarrassment. "What was Father thinking. We're supposed to be engaged.Bu-bu-but your my sister" Volke stutters as he looks from the letter and Sai multiple times.
"well... looks like im under your care now sister. i dont really know much besides fighting and killing though" as he stands up and move towards Sai. "Is there anything i can help you with at the moment? I believe your my sister now just its a bit much to take in at once i guess" Forgetting about the food he walks closer to sai until he's in arms reach.

She only looked at him for a moment before throwing some the logs near having decided to make the kitchen more camp style with a small window to let the smoke out. Preparing the area she started a fire before moving to cut up a few vegetables to start the stew. “Father trains people, but he is tad forget full on details. How is he anyway is he eating well it’s been a while since I last saw him.” She said as moves to stoke the flames of the fire waiting for it to get a little bit hotter.
Having brushed off his comment about them being siblings earlier, she turned to face him only to find him standing behind her. “We might be brother and sister, but we are not by blood. Second I guess if you are going to be living with me it means that I will have to get a bigger place. Which means that you will have to pull your weight about here. I can not be the only person who brings home food.” She said before walking away and getting the pot placing it careful over the fire having had one of the children earlier filled it with water.
Deciding to leave the water to boil she placed her hands on the counter. “So what other skills do you have then fighting. How well can you blend in and what other jobs are you willing to do. We will have to set some ground rules. Is there anything you want from our partnership that we should settle down.” To anyone it sounded more like she was making a deal than having a conversation then again she never really had what others call normal conversation unless she was drinking or had to pretend to be someone else.

He listens to sai speak while wondering what are they doing with the water " Uhh father's good he is getting old now so he's been really forgetful lately. probably why he never trained me on assassinations.he says while smiling.
"I guess that makes sense but still does father want a grandchild that much? and yeah i'll try to help out. I never really did any normal things though" he says as he backs up a bit from Sai getting embarrassed. "well I can sew a little bit, my mother taught me before she died. but most i can do right now is just sew back some rips and tears. Besides that i was an assassin in a town far from nova. id say im fairly adept at killing things, besides that im good at making different poisons, and the antidote.but in a normal household I'm sorta useless. I'll catch on quick though if someone shows me. he said as he sits on the counter feeling a bit pressured from sai. "um id prefer if we dont try to kill each other you know. or poison each other for fun. father used to do that a lot. he starts turning pale as he remembered how father would test various poisons on him and forget to give him the antidote.
"well for the time being looks like I'll be under your care sister. Hope i don't push any of your buttons. But hey sai? should i call you sister or sai. and well can you tell me about yourself? father never really said anything about you." waiting on sai to respond volke lightly taps on the counter with his finger.

She continues to chop up some of the veggies while waiting for the water to come to a boil. Thinking for a moment she walked off to heading to the small cellar she grabbed a piece of beef deciding to use it in the stew for tonight since it was a cause of celebration, coming back upstairs she placed it on the counter cutting it into small chunks not truly paying much attention to her brother. After finishing chopping it everything, she notices that the water has just started to boil.
“It’s not that he want a grandchild. It’s just he knows I would never settle down on my own. That’s why he has you now. The sewing will come in handy you can mend some of the children’s clothes I am hopeless at it.” Turning to look at him she raised an eyebrow honestly she had enough poison training to know what he was talking about it was horrible but she learn each poison that way and gain an immunity to them as well. Shaking her head promising never to try to kill him or poison him for fun.
“I guess that means we will be moving into a bigger place soon then. Nothing too fancy but something so that we blend into the area much better.” She said as she gave him a look over before turning and putting the veggies into the more boiled water stirring it before adding the meat to it. “How well is your cook?”

"ah so father wants us to marry? I wouldn't mind though sister" he say as he start moving towards the pot wondering what you were making. realizing after seeing everything you cut that it was a type of stew."I wouldn't mind doing some of the children's clothes, I can't sew complete clothes though so keep that in mind please."
"a bigger place would probably be good but where would we find the funds for that? And eh Im okay at cooking, never really spent to much time focusing on that. when you lived in the slums for more the half your life you eat what you get" He says as he gets up and goes to his sack unpacking it. "I been wondering but how many kids are there here?" having nothing to do now he goes and sits back on the counter and stares at Sai captivated by her looks. 'Sai's really pretty now that I calmed down and had a good look at her.' he thought as he continues to stare at Sai.
