Kail had a good time at the party that night and was waiting for Serenity and Henry to show up and got a table near the back of the Bloody Mary. They had a bit of catching up to do as they came a few days after the zombie attack. Plus he would need to tell them what there future plans should be. As things were brewing more and more and it did not look like that it was going to be good for them as fated. Since Helena had come rather up front and attacked the city with fated that she killed and then ressed back to life. For right now though he was siping his mead gingerly as he was trying not to get drunk at midday. Plus he needed to get some supplies for his trip back to Gallows bane. He needed to prepare for Helena coming after him or whatever divine creature that would come and hunt him down. The things he learned so far would not be able to help him in general but would have to use those plus his whits to survive the coming trials that were coming. Plus he would need to see one or more two people before leaving.
While sipping his drink, Kail mused on other thoughts if he should find some kind of love. As this thought came rolling into his head, as he had been living alone for awhile now. Although he had friends around but they kept coming and going. Perhaps like dust in the wind. He shook his head and just filed that way for later.

Serenity entered the tavern with Henry, and saw Kail sitting by himself near the back. He wasn't facing the door, so she took this opportunity to tease him a little. She sprinted over to him, quiet as she could be, and attempted to scare him from behind, grabbing his shoulders and half whisper shouting the word "boo". There was a large grin on her face as she did this. She released his shoulders, and moved to sit beside him. Why so solemn? You look like you need a drink. Serenity had few friends left, and she wasn't about to let her very best one be sad, or anything like it. She motioned for a bar maid to come near them, and ordered some drinks.
Okay. Start talking. You've been gone for a while now, what's going on? Serenity had yet to hear about the undead (though Aria had mentioned it but did not describe it), so she didn't know who was involved. You can't just disappear on me like that you know... I know you're busy, but I don't have a lot of people left, so you gotta think about what it would do to your friends if you actually disappeared. Serenity half glared at him. She wasn't mad at him, but losing him would take a rather large toll on her.

Entering the bar with Serenity, Henry watched as she played a game of eye spy, trying to spot Kail. It seemed like they found the brilliant blonde at the same time, because just as Henry spotted him, Serenity had began running over to him. Henry followed behind slowly, taking his time after dancing so much at the party. Henry grabbed a seat opposite of Kail, but next to Serenity, he only offered a small wave paired with a quiet smile, while Serenity took over his ear. He spoke to the bar maid after Serenity, asking for whatever was cheapest, and she went on her way. Henry only understood very little about this world, but from what Serenity had explained, it was not a good time for someone who was like the three of them- the fated, as he recalled. Henry couldn't help but be interested in the subject, he just didn't show his excitement as much as Serenity did. Maybe she was just happy to be around someone else for once- they had been in close quarters with one another for some time now. So, Henry just sat in silence, keeping to himself, but enjoying the company of those he knew.

Kail was taken out of his thoughts when his fellow earthling walked into the bar. He chuckled a bit at Serenity's fire and wanting to know why he poofed rather recently. He then saw Henry sit down and saw that he was dragged along for the ride on this matter. As he saw both of them at the party last night. "Well Serenity, I would have came back sooner but..there was a massive onslaught of the undead. As well as fighting the Goddess of Souls Helena.....Oh and surviving a bolt of lightning coming from the sky. So I am feeling rather peachy right now" he said and on closer inspection of the blond. His apperance had changed a lot. Almost all of the fat that he had on him was gone and had turned into muscle. Plus he still looked rather tired even though he had recovered a lot. He drank more of the mead and set down the mug and looked over the two "I am surprised that the two of you are alright while coming to Nova. I heard some nasty rumors that some of the undead are wandering around in the forests. I am glad that the both of you are a ok" he said showing consern for the two of them.
"I'm still in recovery from what happend, and I am feeling a lot better then I did a few days ago. I passed out and I was out like a light for one entire day. I was able to get around that night for that party. But I am feeling it today though" the blond said as he motioned for a barmaid to come over and get Serenity and Henry's orders for drinks or at least some food. He needed to recover from that encounter though and he was. But he over did it last night, due to the fact that he thought that he was fully recovered.

There have been stories of that already. I can’t believe you fought… What if you had died? Don’t make me start calling you Mr. Lancaster again… Pathetic threat, but it was all she had. Serenity didn’t want to lose anymore people.
Oh… actually, Rivers left a tunnel open for us… I go through it to get to the city all the time… I thought you knew about that! Have you been hiking all this time?!” Serenity leaned forward, hoping she hadn’t been the first to tell Kail about the tunnel.
Well, if anything, I’m glad you’re alright. I saw you at the party, but things were really busy. I’m glad I went though. I got to show Henry what it’s like to have fun in this world. Serenity smiled and nudged his arm while winking. It was meant as a joke but fooling Kail would also be pretty funny.

Henry smiled at the blonde, just happy to see him alive. He couldn't imagine what he had to go through during that battle, it was probably nothing like the mobster scares he had back in New York. He couldn't believe that there were undead roaming the forests near where they live. This whole thing was a mess that he was still trying to learn.
"We's just happy to see ya still kickin'." Henry smiled at Kail. Although Henry knew that Kail had taken a lot of damage, he still looked like the Kail he knew, except a bit more rugged.
Henry listened to Serenity as she joked about the party. After she nudged his arm in both a joking and kind of flirtatious way, Henry was wondering what her game plan was. Obviously she was trying to convince Kail of something. Henry didn't really take to it. He just brushed it off a bit.
"Yeah tha' party was tha' bees knees, completely on the ritz! It's just noice to get outta' tha' house ev'ry once and a while." It was true that Henry did enjoy himself, it was just nice to get out of the house. Nova from above ground was just as nice as underground, just with a few more people.

"I have more luck then a fox on a fox hunt and thanks Henry. I honestly perfer traveling on foot or horseback. I perfer a adventure, plus you never know when a mage could close it up. I rather not be caught in a limbo, or not trust something I understand. Its that I am very weary of the man Serenity" said Kail as he drank more of what he ordered as he just relaxed in his chair. He chuckled slightly at the party that they both enjoyed them selves at the thing. He remembered the last party he went to in this world and remembered he was drunk off his ass. That and tried to break into the castle vault to get a bit of something for himself like a late christmas gift. Although he had heard about the assassin that tried to take out the king. Some had claimed that it was done by a fated person. He just shruged but now he did not want to bog them down with serious or grave matters but it seemed right at the moment. Since he would be busy on trying to get things together on the way back to Gallows Bane.
"I hate to say this to the two of you......but there some serious matters I need to tell the both of you. I am telling you this since pretty much we are looking after other fated. As I said the Goddess of Souls Helena, was behind the attacks here. Whats more disturbing though.....the undead that attacked were all fated beings that were brought back as those monsters. I don't know if they were all killed before we came into this world or not. As the amount that atttacked were insane.....it also makes me worried that things are going to escalate to a degree that I don't know whats going to happen. First it was that execution grounds and now this.....I am not having much faith in this world" said Kail as he looked rather frustraited at the fact that even though they had tried to do everything right to try and survive in this world. Even he was getting fed up and wanted to do something as subtlely trying to do things was not working. Did they have to make a large statement like the Gallows to make things appairent that enough is enough? How long was the king going to be silent as some people were getting killed within his own kingdom.
The just and unjust were being slaughtered indiscriminantly, as there was still some hate. But it seemed that discrimination was growing more and more. Since now the goddess attacked it made most of the people in Nova to be fearful as it seemed that they were evil beings or something. Even though Helena was not a good or evil goddess to some she was still apart of the beings that were worshiped. The thing was, if he had the guts to do make a big statement and get this stuff stopped. It was something he was very much contemplating.

Serenity's face was solomn. She knew Kail got into shit all the time, it was his nature to seek danger or whatever. When he said he was weary of Rivers, she basically snorted. Well it's not like you have to worry about him anymore... She turned her face away from him, only turning her face back when the horrible look on it had left. She didn't like bringing him up.
We've always known something like this was coming... it was always a matter of time... She looked down at her hands. She was no help in that regard; keeping people safe was the one thing she couldn't do. While they were talking the barmaid returned with their orders, and Serenity quickly picked up her cup and took a few gulps. This conversation was giving her a migraine.

Henry could see the discomfort that grew on Serenity's face. He could tell that when she spoke of whoever this man was, it made her uncomfortable. Seeing that, he put a hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her. In all his time in Nova, she never once mentioned him, maybe that was a good thing in the long run. Henry didn't want to step on her toes, especially with what Kail had to say.
Henry looked at Kail sternly, concerned for the safety of his friends. He hadn't realized how bad the situation was in this world. Apparently it was far worse than he could have imagined seeing as he had only just arrived in recent months. Obviously his two friends had more experience here than he does... Quite frankly they probably have more experience with the beasts and whatever else lurked the land of this world too. They might also have more fighting experience than he does... Henry didn't realize how much he would need his friends in battle until now.
"So what happens now?" Henry asks cautiously, "We just wait for whatever fate decides to do to us?"
