Louie sighed to himself the moment he emerged from one of the rented out rooms in the Gallows Inn. Practically his home sense the siege at the Outer Wall. Ever sense then Louie had been laying rather low, so low in fact that one would say he was going ‘beneath’ his normal stander of living. Even the workers at the Inn were beginning to believe he had hit rock bottom, but that’s all in perspective. To Louie it was like the world around him was always looking at the bottle half empty. Speaking of which; The bottle in Louie’s right hand was empty. Which brought the ragged looking red head out of his room.
the tired mercenary dragged his feet the entire way down the stairs and into the bar. His hair un-kempt and pulled up into a messy deadlock bun while his jaw was covered with a five o’clock shadow. His attire rather peasantry compared to his norm, but the simple beige tunic with brown vest and matching shit brown pants seemed to fit his current mood.
With one foot in front of the other, Louie swayed as he walked. His right hand held out to guide him along the wall and bar’s ledge until he made it to the first bar stool. Once his ass was firmly planted onto the stool. The rough looking Louie managed to muster a oh so cheerful smile and waved his hand up to the bar tender with two fingers up. A distraction while one of the maiden’s slipped out from the same room he had just come out of. The bar tender an no one any wiser as the maiden snuck her way back into the kitchen and blended as if she hadn’t been gone for nearly five hours.
A shit eating grin plastered upon Louie’s face as he set the empty bottle up onto the counter to have it taken away and be replaced by another flask of what looked to be honey ale. “ Much obliged. “ Louie nodded, sliding two gold noruvian coins up to Calix while swiping up the flask with his other hand. “ So any rumors or jobs looking for a oh so charming hand for hire? “ Louie asked, his ruby red eyes locked onto the bar tender, Calix , discreetly sliding him another 10 pieces of coin across the bar counter.
‘come on shit brain, don’t waste any more coin until you see Money Bags. I’m going to be broke soon if I can’t find her any time soon and I don’t want to think of what the boss will do if I don’t return with some moo`la soon.’ Louie scolded himself, taking his hand off the coins and reaching into his vest pocket to pull out a hand made cigarette. Popping it into his mouth and letting it rest at the corner before lighting it up with a candle that was on the counter. His features rather obvious that he was waiting for answers or something, completely oblivious to everything else around him at the moment.

Roxanne had been staying at the Gallows Inn since her return, unwilling to go back to her room in Haven to deal with Rivers's absence. That and Aria had informed her that Louie came here often and since the half demon was currently looking for him, she figured this was a good place to hang out. Nothing like killing two birds with one stone. It wasn't the worst place she had ever stayed. The bed was alright and the food was decent. Eventually, she'd have to figure something out with regards to money but for now she was fine.
She wasn't sure what time it was when she finally got up for the day, having crashed out after the meeting with Aria had concluded. The little red headed goddess was full of surprises and information, and handy bargaining chips. She had left Roxanne with some of Louie's favorite lunar flowers, just in case. The half demon tucked them into her boots along with her black leggings. She dug through her small stash of clothes in her pack before shrugging into the same emerald green tunic from the night before. Looks like she was headed to the river at some point as all her other things were quite dirty. Roxanne cinched the tunic around her waist with the finely crafted leather belt, threw on her cloak, and went downstairs.
The half demon turned her head curiously as she heard someone at the bar asking about anyone looking for a charming hand for hire. She turned the corner and sly smile crossed her face briefly. The trip to the river was going to have to wait. Roxanne proceeded to make her way to the bar, tossing her long red hair over her shoulder as she sat down one bar stool away from her target. The whole situation was very convenient for her as she had been quite prepared to search the city, possibly even just running around calling out his name if it came down to it. This, however, was much better.
Seeing that Louie had a flask of honey ale, she flagged down the waitress. "I'll have a mug of whatever the gentleman next to me has. That looks like pretty good stuff," she said, giving him a wink if he looked her way.

Calix was busy wiping down glasses when a red headed male flagged him down and placed an empty on his bar. Knowing what the man wanted he quickly replaced it, the man so far had produced good coin; so he didn’t mind much. He took the coin given and bit it, making sure it was real….Every now and then he’d get a fake one from some patron and end up skinning his ass. Calix raised an eyebrow when more coin was discreetly slipped his way…He moved to wipe down the bar, and the coin conveniently was gone when he was done.
”Well I dunno about that lad; I guess there’s a rumor that there be someone looking for sumthin’ snagged from the castle a few months back. A pretty piece of metal it was; da’t fated woman set to be executed gone off with it during the summer festivities. Pretty sure someone would pay a pretty piece for that but you didn’ hear it from me”
His voice was kept low; and quickly quieted down when another little red head made her way to the table. When she sat he went back to cleaning his glasses.

Louie took a long drag from his cigarette tapping the ash off the end by flicking the butt with his tongue. His ruby eyes locked on the bar tender while he watched him causally bite into the metal. A brow raised in amusement before picking up his drink and downing half of it in what looked like one single gulp. ' What seriously you old bear how many times have I passed coin through your hand? You know my coin is good.' Louie amused to himself, not saying a word as Calix pocketed the coin and finally gave him something worth while.
His lips curled with a devilish grin as he listened to Calix, smoke filtering through his teeth as he took another quick puff. Well it wasn't great news, but it was news that meant a way to make bank if the information was indeed accurate and the 'pretty metal' in question could be worth more else where than the castle. So Louie weighted the option in his head for the time being, taking another sip of his ale before noticing the pretty little red head that had placed herself at the bar near him. He didn't turn his head though, or dare directly look at her. However, he defiantly noticed her 'presence' as he caught the wink she had given him out of the corner of his eye. A proposition? Possibly looking for a good time? Nah, its not that easy. Not with these Novian girls, they weren't like the girls back at his home town in Kanto. Much harder fish to catch and a hella lot prettier too. Louie mused to himself as he took the last sip of his drink.
" You got good taste miss. Best Honey mead in this side of Teair. " Louie commented, finally turning his head to look at Roxy with a cheerful smile. Not quiet sure where he had seen her face before, though he was pretty sure it was around here now that he could place a face. " You from around here? " he asked, deciding to make small talk to pass the time or at least until he could find out more about this fine she devil.

Roxanne's ears were as sensitive as any true demons, even if she was only half. The barkeep's information was not kept between the two men, but she kept a straight face. Calix must mean Claire but she wondered what the girl had stolen from the castle. She knew there was a bounty out for her head. Perhaps she'd check into that later. The half demon started making fire bubbles as she waited for her drink, letting the tiny flames rise a bit before reaching up to pop them with her fingers.
Finally Louie seemed to notice her, though she'd be a fool if he thought he hadn't sooner, and she wrapped her hands around the mug that appeared shortly after. "You don't say?" she commented lightly, expertly downing hers in one drink and ordering another. "Mmm. Well, I haven't had honey mead at every Inn in Teair but it's certainly better than what they're serving up in Kanto or Palico," Roxanne said. The red head grinned when he finally somewhat recognized her. "Aye. You might remember me from a certain incident, a few months back, started out in the forest. Bit of a rescue mission, if you would. Though, I'm still not sure if we were ever properly introduced. The name's Roxanne," she said, turning around on her stool to face him fully and giving him a grin.

Serenity walked in the tavern, dressed as she always was for such an outing; revealing corseted dress that was green in colour, and her hair down cascading around her shoulders and back. She saw Roxy as soon as she walked in, the lady wasn't hard to miss. Swallowing her pride for the first time in a while, she walked towards her rather than away. Serenity vaguely recognized the man she was speaking to, but couldn't pin point how. Hello Roxy. Her accent was unmistakable as she sat down next to the demon girl, and offered up a semi genuine smile.
She ordered a glass of something strong before turning back to them. She nodded to the male stranger, not knowing how to address him. Normally she'd flaunt about and make her name known, but she wasn't drunk enough for that yet.

Well, well! This was a new turn of events. Louie’s eyes flashed with amusement as Roxy downed the mead in her cup like a champ. Not too bad, perhaps he could have a little fun yet with this one. His eye brow quirked as a smirk escaped and replaced his smile. “ You don’t say indeed. Now where have you been hiding all this time?” Louie chuckled while leaning onto the bar; His head resting on his wrist while his arm propped him up in a leisurely fashion on the counter top. His eyes sheepishly glancing over to see a bar maiden walk by with a tray of what looked like two mead flasks. Quickly, while still making eye contact with the she devil he swiped the flasks from the tray with delicate and precise balance not to spill what was in the mugs. This startled the maiden as she quickly jerked her head around to stare at Louie with flustered cheeks. “ Lou! “ She managed to bark before five pieces of noruvian coins flipped through the air and landed onto the tray with a healthy clank. Her eyes blinking at the coins, flipping the tray close to her chest not the loose the coin while she snaked through the crowd of customers.
With both flasks in one hand, Louie carefully settled the flasks down onto the counter. His other hand that he was resting his head on had moved to be settled down on the counter as well; a single coin still nestled between his index finger and middle finger as he watched the maiden exit from the background of Roxy. His ruby eyes eventually returning to Roxy as she began to mention where he might have seen her around before. So they had already met? This was curious indeed, his smirk turning into a cheerful grin. “ Ah so thats where I’ve seen your pretty little face. An a cute name too, rolls off the tongue quiet nice. “
Louie was curious, she was part of the Fated group that he had rescued. A possible lead back to Bane, which was what really was important along with the sword that COULD possibly be the solution to all of his problems.
“ Where are my manners, The names Lou, but you probably remember that from our first encounter was it? “ Louie sheepishly grinned, trying to be slightly coy while picking up one of the flasks he had stolen and lightly sipping at its stout alcoholic beverage while another red hot beauty suddenly approached. This one knew Roxanne too, which intrigued him. The other girl was shy; Something he could tell right off the bat just by looking at her, but he was subtle as he sat his drink down on the counter. Not missing the nod she had given him and in response he gave her a wink back out of good curtsy and a to be a little flirtatious to bring her out of her shell.
“ Well looks likes its going to be a bar of wild ones tonight. Three red heads all sitting in a row, my thats a recipe for disaster. Don’t you agree ladies? “ Louie jest, trying to break the ice of the obvious developing tension or at least so he believed.

Roxanne gave Louie her best coy grin, batting her eyes a bit as he asked her where she'd been hiding. She didn't miss the amusement in his eyes when she downed her drink either. "Oh, around. Mostly outside the city," she answered, watching as he snagged the two glasses from the barmaid while still maintaining eye contact with herself. Her amusement at the maid's reaction would likely not get by him, but she didn't try to hide it regardless.
She laughed as he seemed to finally put two and two together, and dropping her a compliment to boot. "You're too kind," the half demon said, leaning forward on to the counter. Once he properly introduced himself, she grinned. "Lou hm? That does seem to ring a bell. It has been quite a while though and I haven't seen you around since. Small city, that this is, that's quite a feat. What have you been up to lately?" she said, making conversation. Roxanne picked up her second mug and drank half this time, not wanting to get drunk on the job.
The half demon's ears twitched as the hinges on the door creaked and a familiar smell hit her nose. She knew without turning that who it was and cringed a little inside when Serenity called to her. This was certainly going to complicate things but she turned, smiling at the other woman. "Serenity. My, fancy meeting you here. Have a drink with us?" she greeted the other red head and waved to Calix. Roxanne grinned at Louie, laughing at the obvious red head joke. "It's shaping up to be a fine night indeed, Lou," she agreed, not sure what to expect of the other woman. She down the rest of drink and ordered a third, knowing it would take quite a few to stir her demon blood.

Serenity smiled awkwardly and accepted. Thank you. I will join you for a while if you don’t mind. I come here semi-often these days, so it was surprising to see you. She cleared her throat, and nodded as Roxy said the mans name. Lou, it sounded familiar.
None the less, she’d met him at the Gallows incident as well, though she didn’t have a want or need to say so. A recipe for disaster? I don’t know about that. We red heads can be lovely people if treated right. Though drunk… well you may be right. She laughed lightly and accepted her drink when it was brought to her.
Serenity looked back and forth between the two for a moment, Are you sure I didn’t interrupt something?
