What could they do? Mercy kill at best, but there was a clear commotion inside the throne room that they could see from where they were perched and Roland remained seated. In the bloody light she could also spy something curious- a pale woman seated at Noku’s right hand. Now that, that was interesting.
It all happened so quickly after that- the guards were dragging someone to the strange multicolored device and it wasn’t Roland. There was an audible murmur of confusion and curiosity through the crowd as Claire squinted down, shielding her eyes with her hand. It was a woman- thrashing and dressed in white- well mostly. Her white dress was streaked with red. Confusion came over Claire’s face as she looked over to Jeon, wondering if he knew what this was. The woman was too far away to recognize, but the cries of shock from the assembly below made it clear that at least some knew who this woman was.
“What-” she leans forward further, hands gripping the tile tightly before she hears a window open under her. Claire shrinks back, looking back over to Jeon. “It looks like your friend will live. But…” she looks back to the scene at the device, deeply unnerved. What had happened in there?

Serenity had known this trial would be happening for weeks. Working where she did, she now had the advantage of kingdom gossip, so come day of, she was up bright and early, able to get a spot right near the door to the throne room where she knew she’d have a good view. She had dressed simply enough, A black high collared blouse, the sleeves roomy and the bodice form fitting. Over that she wore a worn brown leather corset, a brown belt over that. A plain white skirt was tucked under a brown overskirt, matching the corset. From the belt hung the rapier Kail had made for her. Her long auburn hair hung gracefully down her back and shoulders, stopping just before her waist in loose curls. For a long time, it was just gossip as the townsfolk gathered around the gates, going farther back than Serenity could see, with people on top of houses and trees, all here to see the show.
She kept to herself, knowing no one she could see around her, and more focused on the true facts than the rumoured ones anyhow. After what seemed like far too long, the doors opened and a device was carried out and placed not too far from where Serenity stood. That couldn’t be good. It would seem Captain Walker would be meeting his fate. Serenity dipped her head in respects, not knowing him well enough to be sad, but smart enough to know he was a good man- for the most part. However, when Serenity looked up again, it wasn’t Roland she saw being dragged out into the clearing, but a woman all in white- with splashes of bright bright red where her gown had been stained. Blood or wine, it was hard to tell. Serenity stared at this womans face, trying to place how she knew her.
Whispers ran throughout the crowd, and as usually, she heard them, her body stiffening as a name spread through the people. Lady Severine Zoe… Serenity’s face turned into a dark scowl as memories flooded over her, reminding her who she’d been so afraid of for so long. Remembering who she’d been running from, who’d been chasing her and every other fated who’d arrived here, no choice of their own. It was the awful woman who Rivers had saved her from, indirectly. Satisfaction hit Serenity slowly, rising in her chest as the evil woman was tied up in the middle of that contraption. From the looks of it, all one needed to do was pull one of those loose ropes, and pain would somehow be inflicted on the murderous bitch. Too easy.
Serenity slowly moved forward, Severine already been tied up tight. There was a moment of silence, as though people were waiting for someone else to step forward before they did. Serenity couldn’t possibly be the only one who knew what this woman had done! Before she knew it, she was at the ropes, and she picked on up in her pale hands, wrapping it around her wrists twice. You probably don’t know my name, or my face, but it was because of you that I lived in fear for far too long… Rot in hell. Serenity spoke quietly, enough for the witch to hear, but that was all. Then she began to pull, slowly at first, taking a few steps back as she did, to make it tighter. Then she pulled harder, putting all her strength into it, rage consuming her. Severine had made her afraid to even step outside, so instead she hid, cowering under the bed like a child. In Serenity’s mind, Severine was the type of person who deserved the worst fate possible.

Blood pounded in the ears of the doomed woman as she lifted her head to look to the gathered crowd. She couldn’t hear the murmurs from where she was chained and she looked up, bloodshot eyes fixating on the approaching.
The crowd could see the blood-drenched woman twitch then slump, her head falling forward to look down at whatever was inside the device to which she was chained. Her gagged and choked screams had ceased, apparently having been resigned to whatever fate awaited her.
As Serenity pulled the rope something clicked inside the device- the smooth sound of rope pulling against metal and wood, and as the young woman pulled a long and shining steel needle shot forth. The silent woman let out a garbled and piercing scream around her bloodied gag as the needle lanced through her thigh. It pierced seamlessly through the brocade fabric of her dress and into her skin, blood blooming around the needle.
A ripple and cry of shock ran through the assembled, all realizing at once what this device was meant to do. It would be a slow, painful execution. When Serenity had a chance to loosen her grip on the rope the needle would pull out of her thigh, ripping another weakened cry from the old woman, blood seeping down her dress.

Aria having let her illusion drop back to her normal form; fallowed the device outside into the court yard. From here she could easily see the crowd gathered around the gates. The guards securing the ropes to toss out into the crowd. Aria was still curious to what this device was going to do; and seeing how she was on the noble side of the court yard she had an opportunity to get a bit closer. Aria walked up beside the device; not yet grabbing a rope, but curious to see how many would jump at the chance. She was careful not to poke her head over the drum like plat form though. After all she didn’t know what the hell the thing was going to do. She spotted a flash of red from the crowd. It would seem her handmaiden was the first to grab a colorful robe. That didn’t take her to long to get over the fact it was another person who was sitting on the execution block, rather than the person who was expected to be.
With a yank the devices function was soon known; Aria unfortunately was in the splash zone, got a nice cheek full of the splash back. Aria’s nose scrunched up in disgust as she side stepped further away from the splash zone. Wiping the blood off her face with her arm. ”Lovely speech Serenity….” Aria looked up at Severine. Might as well say her final words to the woman now. ”I believe when we first met; I had some words for you the day that I was arrested. If I recall correctly ‘Innocent blood will be shed, but with them the guilty may perish and all who judge will face the final judgment and wait out eternity in agony.’ I believe this has come to pass for you. I have no doubt Mylee’s champions decree will be carried out.” She had warned Severine back then about her path. And if she recalled correctly she had made it seem that the gods had talked through her. As she talked she walked to and throw; her hands eventually casually reaching up to grab a rope; first one, then another, and another until she had a good handful. One for each fated person who stood chained beside her that day. She had stepped in some splattered blood when she started walking. Her footsteps deliberate as she stepped. When she had finished talking a frowny face was evident on the stone ground. ”Not my best piece but you did request one. So long Lady Zoe.” Aria wrapped one set of ropes around one arm, and other on her other arm. With a yank she pulled all of them once before letting to ropes drop. Walking back into the court room.

Kail had not been an early riser but had heard some comotion and had gotten up dressed slightly and heard that there had been a trial. His only set of clean clothes was his fated attire. But it would not be too much of a problem though if he wore his cloak over it. Since it did have a cooling effect it would not overheat himself. He also made sure he was armed and made his way to the castle and to the gates. The blond did converse with several of the locals there. Also spotting some familure faces in the crowd. While waiting for something to happen, he spoke to several locals and found out it was a trial for a former captain of the guard and assumed execution. But as some time passed it seemed that Lady Severine was going to be the one to get the axe in a sense. As the blond saw the woman being put on the daisy. There was almost a thrilling feeling that went through his body as it seemed that he would get some justice here and now. As he walked up he saw Serenity walk up and speak her peace and then pull one of the ropes. A evil smirk was on his face a bit of satisfaction of what the redhead did. Although hearing Aria as she moved up after Serenity and pulled the rope after saying her peace. Then it was his turn the sense of antisapation was growing.
He then walked up and pulled back his hood of the cloak and the rest of it and looked at the marked woman who was going to die. "I was there on that day where you had made that witch hunt for us fated near the gallows. I have lost friends.....some safety, and living in fear. The pain of myself and many others still not have healed.....You wanted us dead, but it seems that Fate is a bigger bastard then me. And has given you the ironic fate of you dieing. I hope you burn in hell and a pineapple shoved up your ass every single night you fucking whore" said the blond as he pulled on a rope. He wanted to see this woman in pain. Today he got some sense of security back today at least with this women dead and in the ground. And that there would no longer be anymore trouble from her.

There was obviously a awkward hush over the crowd as the old advisor was latched onto the colorful contraption the Royals had made. He watched intently as the scene unfolded from his hidden vantage point within the building. He could still see slightly inside the courtroom; Roland Walker’s lower back side still in some what in view. Hell he could see the guards and the lady still beside the well known Royal Guard Captain. If only it was Garrett Blade, maybe he would of been more satisfied of seeing a guard executed. However, that wasn’t the case it seemed. The more Louie watched, the more he was starting to see the guards hand out ropes to the civilians and nobles. The hell was those ropes for anyway?
Then he saw the first tug, he could only see the fiery red hair color of the girl who pulled the rope. The mystery of the device revealed before his very eyes. Quickly he became bug eyed at the sight of the spike running through the old woman’s hip. Well that was definitely disturbing and far worse than the last execution he had witness under Noku’s rule. What the hell was those Nobles doing? Just sitting around coming up with this kind of shit?! This was far worse than the public display of tossing people into a pit.
Louie turned his attention away from the device and the woman being brutally pen cushioned to death. Her fate was obviously sealed; no point in contributing to her death when there were others that deserved the sweet punishment of death. Louie thought looking back into the courtroom; He hoped to see the King or someone of a higher position. However, there was one thought that crossed his mind… Noku would send the Royal Guard captain after him eventually; it would be only a matter of time before he would become the man on that damn stand if he didn’t destroy the threat of being hunted.
It was ballsy, stupid, and most likely rash. However, Louie was paranoid and fearful of his position as the 2nd in command of the Black Daggers. He had Punched Noku, I’m sure Walker had possibly struck a deal to have him walk unscavth. Or at least that is what Louie believed as he drew his bow and pulled a arrow from his halter. The arrow looked normal enough at first glance; though the tip of the arrow head had pieces of Helena’s feather wrapped with spider silk.
He drew the bow string back and aimed for the Royal Guard Captains hip region. His his heart becoming fast pace as he focused his aim. Then he let go of the string, the arrow flying past aria’s head brushing her hair as it flew past. Louie was for sure he aimed correctly, however, the more he watched the arrow he noticed he made a grave mistake…. The arrow was off about 3 feet, its trajectory the ass of the woman standing next to Roland Walker. A look of horror crossing Louie’s features as he watched the arrow fly. “ Fuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccc-” He cursed under his breath, quickly taking the bow in hand and bolted to the other end of the house just in case someone saw where the arrow had came from. He scrambled out the window and climbed down the side of the building to stay out of sight for the time being while still cussing at himself under his breath.

Adrain had been content, well not so much as content as obligated to simply watch as the rest of the 'trial' unfolded. Many people had it out for this woman Severine, perhaps if he were among the court earlier or something he would have experienced first hand the tactics of the bat known as the Archduchess, but even if he were personally impacted, the gaggle of nobles ranging from Melda denouncing her to Lucinda of all people calling for her death played out. The fact that Yuki spoke at least not death wishing earned the baroness a bit of respect in Adrain's eyes.
Then that device.
This was an unusual way to kill someone, clearly meant to send a message. It would have been adequate to simply drop the old bat off on a island somewhere in exile, she likely didn't have that long left to live naturally and in the wild nature would take it's course, at the very least it gave her a theoretical chance to live out her life if she could survive on her own wits. Not that Adrain personally cared about that, but this just seemed...excessive.
The whole trial felt off the second attention seemed to turn to Severine. Deep inside, several things felt off from Breton's behavior, to the old hag herself. He could faintly sense a bit of curse magic working just before she was strapped in, similar to that collar that Roland had on when he encountered him at the falls. The ferocity at which others piled on the woman made him wonder if there was a magic afoot that caused a rise in hostility. Regardless, it seemed evident that this was the intended end result: everything seemed to turn against Severine too specifically, that Roland was just a means to an end. But who would really perpetrate such a plot? Breton seemed most obvious but who really knows maybe Noku wanted a show to get rid of her since her behavior and disrespect for the King couldn't have been just manifested on the floor of the trial room. There was much history here that he was unaware of and he could only accept that no matter what, this was that woman's last day. The mage couldn't help but to feel a slight bit of paranoia at the numerous moving pieces in play at this point, he would rather return to the Arch at this point, but to disappear would probably be in poor taste to the King.
Roland getting off with minimal consequence all things considered was a slight relief, but it made him question just what his role in this was. Was he privy to the plot or was he surprised too? What exactly was the point of this day, to remove a woman everyone seemed to dislike or was there another plot at play? The mage's mind was racked with far more questions than he had answers for and no obvious way of sorting it out.
Aria seemed too enthusiastic to main the woman, others joined in. The mage wondered whether there was purpose to each one who walked up or if it was just the entertainment of the day as far as the other people were concerned. He couldn't hear the speeches of Kail, Serenity, or Aria after all. All the same, there was substantial exposure here of the king and others that he considered friend and ally. He need not focus on the device, it was obvious what was going to happen. Iris would probably detect more tension than she had ever seen in him at this display if she followed him as he stood to the side of the entrance looking out for threats. There were hundreds, maybe even thousands out there for this spectacle, any one of them could throw an explosive or something against the king or another noble.
Then it happened.
The sound of something flying by was faintly heard and the likely scream of the woman snapped his attention to Aveline. An arrow was sticking out of her ass of all things. He snapped his attention back to the crowd, calculating the trajectory from where he thought he heard the arrow cutting the air. At the ground level, the shot would have been too hard to make from the crowds so he looked to the higher surfaces. A pair sitting upon a building noted to him as his eyes glew momentarily as his vision extended. The woman was familiar, he had seen her on wanted posters, if memory serves correct the charge was attacking the king. Next to her was Jeon? Did he get involved in the underworld during his disappearance and abdication of the Headmaster post that was just given to him? Adrain's expression turned to ice as he looked at both. Jeon was a noble at least at one point, he would know the consequence of an attack like this. The woman, he wondered what was the objective here. Was she trying to take a shot at the king again? Regardless, it seemed she may have had a hand at this, and she was a criminal in any case. There was no weapon, but she likely dropped it: it was the play that made sense if she was attempting to assassinate a king or noble: a followup shot would be too obvious for the eyes of guards who would be scuttling about with shields raised before long.
"Iris...stay here and make certain the others I know are safe. You won't be able to keep up with what I'm about to do, or I would ask for your help in this. I'm sorry. Diamond is magical, tell him to try to keep up that a wanted criminal seems to be the perpetrator " he apologizes to his bodyguard as he then tracks the location of the house and disappears into the shadows, rapidly jumping from shadow to shadow of building to building and closing on the house quickly.
As he arrived, he put his right hand to the wall and surged mana from around him to the house of the building as a glyph manifested. Ice would rapidly shoot up the walls to the roof and quickly rise and try to form a dome around the entire roof to capture the pair, though there was a small time before the trap could finish. He kept his eyes vigilant for other threats ready to break off and take cover if need be.

Diamond did his part in all of this and was rather pleased at this. As justice was being served on a rotten soul like hers and knew he was going to pay a slight price for what he did on Severine. But in the long run she would never be allowed back into the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. But the white haired captain of the rose court was very alert as this would be a prime oppertunity for a assassination or some kind of attack. He barely watched those down at the daisy but his eyes kept a vigil for something. Then a feeling he had and almost saw something coming at the nobility area on where he was. As it got closer it seemed that it was an arrow that hit Averline in her ass. The white haired male was going to step out until he overheard Adrian say something about him following to a house and a criminal. Diamond stepped out and walked out a bit and then pulled out a green colored crystal an emerald. He consentrated on the crystal really hard drawing apon its sealed elemental energies it shattered but the dust flew around and centered on his back with four green spectral wings that were akin to a dragonfly.
He had not trained with his crystalmancy at all for something like this and was not sure how it would last. But he kneeled down for a jump and then sprang forward with enough momentum by running. Diamond started to fly for a bit and was able to get over the crowd and land on a house. The wings vanished as it seemed that he needed more work with this. He then started to run from roof top to roof top and saw two people. One of them he had no idea about but the other did strike him by surprise and a bit of shock. The lover that Shy had been with was the woman at the gallows! He had placed Vennessa in there care his eyes for the second time that day were full of rage. It seemed that today was Claire's bad day as he had entrusted her to them. "Yeld Coaxoch Fynn you are being placed under arrest for several counts of assassination of the king. As well an assault apon a noble. If you do not I will be forced to use lethal force" said Diamond and then drew one of the few weapons he had not used in a long time. He drew his Muramasa katana. The amount of death eminating from the sword was emence and it seemed that the weapon wanted blood. As well as Diamond being serious and was no mood to play around.

The Civilian Guards stood sternly at their posts before the gates, monitoring the overwhelming crowd of townsfolk who gathered to observe the execution of the, as they had recently discovered, Lady Severine Zoe. The guards pushed the crowd back as The Daisy came forward with an intimidating presence, the guards made room for the fearsome contraption. Curiosity seemed to get the best of the crowd as one by one individuals came forward and pulled on the jewel-colored ropes, which impaled the woman at fault.
While this went on, four Royal Guards were stationed around the still-captive Captain Roland Walker. They surrounded him, preventing anyone from coming near him. When the woman Aveline approached the guards, they would stiffen, creating a barrier around the captive Captain. One of the royal guards spoke, emotionless and stern. “Madam, under the law of the court of Nova, if you do come any closer to the felon, there will be consequences for you to be decided by your peers.” The guard was prepared to take action if necessary, and the seriousness was evident in his tone. "Until these chains are removed, he is a criminal under the eyes of Novurian Law." The guard looked at Aveline with darkened and intimidating eyes. “I advise you to step back.” The guard looked at the Daisy, then back to the woman who would hopefully be aware of the impact her actions would have, considering the circumstances.
Suddenly, an arrow shot through the air, hitting Aveline in the gluteus maximus. Following when the arrow struck, one of the guards acted immediately to escort Aveline off to the side so that she could be offered the help she may need. The royal guard would grab her by the arm, with hopes of getting her out of the line of site of the attacker.
Meanwhile, the remaining three guards would grab hold of Mr. Roland Walker, one holding down on the chains that bound him still with a tighter grip, and the two others each holding an arm in a stern and unescapable hold.

What followed happened so quickly that she couldn’t quite comprehend it all at once.
Whoever had bright idea to let that arrow fly would surely get away with it- after all she was sitting on the roof. And in a city as pale as Nova, any brown woman sitting on a roof would attract immediate suspicion. Even if she was in disguise, with her head covered and wearing Novian dress. As the screams started to pierce the morning air Claire swore, tugging her cloak up over her mouth and sliding back, crouching on the other side of the roof and out of direct sight of the castle. She tugged Jeon with him, the poor bastard.
“You have to get out of here.” she hisses to him her heart racing. “If they catch you, you tell them I was holding you hostage. Got it? If you need sanctuary, you can always find me in the forest-”
Magic. Claire’s blood ran cold, realizing they were out of time. Without another word and only a cursory glance in the direction of the shouting at her she shoved Jeon in the direction of another roof and ran off herself, swinging off the edge of the building and trying to climb down as far as she could before the ice shot up under her hands. She had to let go further up than she would have liked, dropping into a pile of garbage behind the building. As soon as she found her footing Claire began to run into the streets, disappearing into the crowd.

Before she could even open her mouth to speak to the guards before her, Aveline felt a sudden sharp pain that lanced through her, her dark eyes going wide. The shock was so sudden she couldn’t even scream, reaching for and sinking against the guards intending to block her in. Without thought she reached down, yanking the offending object clear from her body, a sharp gasp of pain escaping her. She could feel it now, dull and hot, and the blood seeping down her leg. Her slipper slipped against the pooling blood, her eyes growing hazy with unshed tears of pain, unable to hear the screaming around her. What had even happened? She didn’t even look at what had hit her, but it had felt like an arrow. An assassination attempt? Meant for his Majesty surely and missed, striking her instead.
Aveline’s eyes rose to Roland, then to Noku, then back. She blinked hard, her voice still stolen from her, still holding onto the guard and frozen in her spot, completely unable to comprehend what to do. Her mother was dead. She had nearly been killed right there. Someone had tried to kill the King here, of all places. And Roland- he was still there, still chained. She tried to find her footing in the slowly pooling blood but failed, gasping for breath and holding herself upright only by the grace of the guards flanking her.

As Aria walked in the unexpected happened; the familiar whoosh of a fast moving object rushed passed her head. She saw a couple of red strands hit the floor; having the arrow narrowly miss hitting her in the back of the head. Aria hopped a bit in surprise; after all who the hell wouldn’t jump at almost having an arrow lodge stuck in her head. ”ZEAPONS TWISTED TITTIES NOT AGAIN!” She hiked up her skirts and bolted the rest of the way inside, she ducked and belly slid underneath one of the guards legs and to a stop behind Roland. Placing herself so he was between her and the door just in case any more arrows flew. He’d act like a proper human shield if they did. She got off her belly however stayed in a crouch; more than ready to bolt in another direction if need be. She poked her head out into view and immediately started scanning the crowd looking for the blonde trigger happy monkey who shot her last time. Instead she caught red; she looked up at the roof. Shifting her eyes to that of her phoenix forms; being a predatory bird the phoenix had excellent eyesight. From here she was easily able to identify Jeon…..and Claire.
Her face blanked….Really REALLLY how many times was that woman going to get by security. Aria watched as Adrain took off soon followed by Diamond. Though not a word to anyone else. The smell of blood suddenly hit her nose and her attention immediately shot over to Ave…. who was being carried off by a guard. Arias brain was processing a mile a minute. She got up and darted up towards where Noku was. ”Claires up on the roof; I believe Adrain and Daimond already spotted her and are heading …..” Aria’s eyes narrowed in the direction of the building ”Correction Adrains already there….” There was a deep frown on Aria’s face; Jeon was up there with her...”Umm; I hate to mention this but there is a man with her.” She kept her voice hushed; hoping in the commotion that she wouldn’t be heard. She’d let Noku deal with Jeon. ”It’s Jeon…..annnd now she’s pushing him….and off the roof she jumps…how she got high enough to jump over Adrains ice dome that is forming is beyond me.. ugh excuse me for a moment”
Aria placed her hand on her throat; her eyes glowing gold as she activated the spell casting her voice. Her voice could be heard speaking normally next to Noku, but be heard loud over the roof where Claire had just jumped. ”Claire, you have not one, but two skilled mages after you, not to mention the guards. And I do believe I just saw the new Royal Guard Captain Lionheart take off after you as well. If you do somehow miraculously escape you will soon be finding yourself finding the entire cities rat population turned on you; I personally will hunt you like a dog. There will be no safe place for you to run. The forest will no longer be a home to hide; every animal in that forest you will find can be my eyes. It’s done Claire; you only have three options.”
Aria let the spell drop and turned back to Noku; only reason she wasn’t flying out there to help catch the waffle twat was because if she got shot he got shot....and it was driving her mad. Aria sighed ”Please let me know if they don’t get her; I rather not cause a city wide panic by getting all the rats you have in this city onto the streets. As for right now I think my abilities would be best suited to aiding Mrs. Walker. Lilith can you help me come tend to her?” Aria turned and waved to the servant who had brought Mrs. Walker the tea from the last time. ”She’s going to need another cup of whatever you brought.” There was very little chance that all the stress and now the butt trauma DIDN”T cause an issue. She’d be more then shocked if this didn’t send the woman into preterm… Aria went to go tend to Aveline and noticed an arrow shaft on the floor….Her face blanked ”Who was the ijit who pulled that out!” Aria picked up the pace her brisk walk turning into a jog as she rushed over to Ave. ”I’m going to put pressure on that wound; that arrow shouldn’t have been removed right away. Who knows if it nicked an artery or something?” Aria ripped off the hem of her skirt; not really putting much stalk in material possessions. She quickly folded up the fabric to place pressure on the wound; ignoring the fact she was indeed touching the womans butt. ”Ohhh this is going to be sore in the morning” Aria looked back "Lilith do you want to handle the wound and I can monitor the baby; I should be able to hear the change in heart beat if there is one.”

Roland felt conflicted as the guards closed in and cut him off from Aveline. On one hand he had been determined to not be a traitor so it seemed excessive and almost cruel, the ember of anger burned, but there was not as much heat as there would normally be. Because they were doing exactly the right thing, following orders, keeping the prisoner separate from anyone who could potentially assist and compromise the situation. All that being said, Roland did not want to see Aveline's distressed expression, but as his gaze scanned the room he saw her, the woman who had attacked the castle.
Roland tensed, but before he could react to seeing the foreign criminal he saw something far worse, a glint as someone fired an arrow at...
Then Aveline was hit and the guards moved to further restrain him he looked towards Aveline, but she was being tended to and years of training caused him to look at Noku and be filled with rage. Not a single guard had moved in front of their King. "Sniper! Lilith protect his majesty!" He shouted, voice filled with the command that had been there for years. Only later would he remember she was not a part of the guard any longer.
"Davin, where are the guards defending his majest-" he began to ask them Adrain moved and Roland growled.
"Kaiaru! The sniper shot from lower down they're fleeing!" He walked to move, to act, but there was nothing he could do in this situation and his impedance made him burn. He'd spent the last two months feeling powerless, and now that he was finally about to be free something happened moments before he could actually do something to help. He turned to Aveline, his eyes were dull and brown, but his mind was racing, the wound wasn't fatal, it looked worse than it was, but it was bad for her to be losing blood.
He locked eyes with her and nodded, everything was going to be okay.

The commotion stirred the crowd, and the energy of the large gathering grew panicked. The heads of the crowd turned towards the building behind them following the flying arrow, only to see two figures on top of the building. People pointed, some screamed, but most were in complete shock and terror. The crowd began to panic. People watched as two men approached the building in pursuit of the two figures. People ran away from the building that began to be coated and covered by ice. Individuals ran from the scene in fear of the assassin at hand, fearful of the stake of their lives. In running away, a ring of people were made around the building.
People were shuffling around the crowd, trying to run from the scene. Others were staring at the woman who had been shot. The remainder of the crowd watched as the woman jumped down from the building. People scurried in fear, blocking the way of the criminal and making it excruciatingly difficult to navigate the crowd. People were blocking any way to exit, and were in extreme panic and anxiety. No one would be able to leave the vicinity due to the sheer panic and fear of the crowd.

The guards surrounding Captain Walker tightened the chains. The one who held a tight grip on the chains that bound him to his spot, pulled them closer to the ground following Captain Walker’s attempt at orders. “Mr. Walker.” He said in a harsh rough tone. “You are a prisoner, and still at the mercy of the king.” The Guard pulled the chains closer to him. “Know your place.” He said hissing his final words.
Following orders from Nicholi Lionheart who had a delay to the trial due to the commotion of the event, Royals guards made their way into the castle’s trial room to protect the nobility of Nova. Four guards made their way over the king to protect him, and two guards made their way over to Aveline and Aria to protect them while they tended to Aveline.
