After Amiee pulled Leon into the doorway she reached up and quickly pulled on her hair ribbons taking them out. As she did her hair fell behind her in a curtain wrapping her ribbons around her wrist she peek out the door and saw that the guard was almost gotten by the cats. Looking up at Leon she took a deep breath and reach up wrapping her arms around him as she stood on her tippy toes. Moving her face closer to his, "Just go with it." Was all she said before she captured his lips in a kiss, using her hair to hide them and prayed that the guard just thought he got the wrong people when he came to they little-hiding space.

After being dragged into a room leon was surprised at what Amiee did as she took her ribbons off before embracing him, shocked he went along with it since he was not able to react to anything else, wrapping his arms around her back he pulled her up to him subconsciously as they kissed. After a few moments getting over the shock leon though felt bad about kissing a girl he just met, though he hoped the ruse would work and cause the guard to leave them alone.

    Following the disappearance of the Noble guest Leon, guards were summoned from the castle within the first district. Guards were dispersed among the merchant district dressed in their formal uniforms. Guards paced through the district, over-looking the stands and covered most parts of the merchant district. One guard noticed one of his superiors, Garza, and approached him "Sir, has there been any progress in the search for Master Jaeger?" he said with a stern voice. If Garza were to instruct the guard on the whereabouts of Leon, and where he saw him go, the guard would walk over there in a hurry, and would be nothing short of surprised on what he would walk into. 

    The guard would see a young couple embracing, their faces being cloaked by the woman's abundant hair. "Excuse me! Please, refrain from this nonsense in public." he would take a step back, disgusted at this public act, would look back a moment and continue. "We are in search of a man whose run away from the first district, if you see anything please inform one of the men in uniform." following his reassurance, he would walk away, looking around the area for Leon.

Amiee cheeks turned a bright pink hearing a voice telling them to refrain from showing affection. She was about to turn and face the voice when something shiny caught her eye, it was going she notices Leon’s necklace and the crest on it. She wasn’t sure but if she had remembered right nobility has items with they family chest on it in the case of anything. Quickly tucking it into Leon’s shirt pretending to be fixing his clothes, she turned and face the guard her cheeks still pink, as she brushed away her hair from her face. “Someone ran away? That is strange for sure sir. I haven’t seen any strange people today.” She said thinking for a moment, turning to look at Leon, as she looked at him her blush brighten. “Honey, did you see anyone on your way here?” After waiting for Leon’s answer, she would nod. “I promise if I see anyone who looks out of place we will let you guys know.”



Waiting until the guard had walked away and was in earshot she turned to Leon and wiggled out of his arms. “Um… thanks for playing along. I guess you must keep a low profile. So, um…. Is there anything you want to do until the guards figure out they looking for you?”

Leon hid a smile while turning slightly red as he heard the guard address them, realizing what could happen he tried to hide by using Amiee as cover. Noticing that Amiee turned pink he was going to turn her and laying his head on her hair to make sure the guard wouldn’t notice before feeling her hand move his necklace which had his family crest into his shirt preventing the guard to see it as he answered her “ N..n..no I haven’t seen anyone on my way here dear”.

After the guard left Leon was stunned for a second as he noticed Amiee wiggle out of his arms “ Thanks for the help Amiee, and well I don’t think there is much we can do. Should we just walk around and talk and get to know each other more? Then if anything catches our eyes we can go to it?” Leon honestly said as he did want to spend more time with this girl he just met.

“You’re welcome, Leon. I don’t mind us talking and getting to know each other more.” Her cheeks still a little pink from earlier. “Um… we can should that way and we can make it back towards the market.” She pointed in the direction that one of the guards that gone in since it would be easier to follow behind a guard than go towards a guard who knew who he was looking for. “Uh… so why did you want to visit the city?” Amiee asked as they walked down the road heading back towards the marketplace where it would be easier to blend back into the crowd.

Leon walked alongside Amiee as she said they would go back towards the market, taking glances between her and behind them during the stroll “ Well I was sent here to learn how others outside of the city I was from acted. And being stuck in the castle all day or have guards accompany me would get in the way of learning” Leon said though it was only half true, the real reason was that he wanted to get away from the stuffiness of the castle.

As they continued to the marketplace they began to see stalls in front of them “looks like we arrived Amiee, is there anywhere in specific we should go?” Leon honestly asked Amiee since he figured she most likely knew the place better than himself . “After all the running should we go get a snack?”

Amiee nodded her head as she listened to Leon on his reason for wanting to visit the city. It made sense since up in the castle one wouldn’t be able to see how the common folk lived or even struggled since there were still in a richer part of the city compared to where she lived. Looking up at him she wondered what he would do if he saw most of the city really lived in overcrowded houses, worried about getting robbed and some rumours been going around of girls disappearing in the middle of the night or some parents selling some of their children into slavery to support the rest of the family. Shaking away those thoughts she decided to worry about that stuff later if it ever came to that.


Hearing the voices of vendors shouting as selling they goods to anyone who passed by. When he asked if there was anywhere in specific she wanted to go. She didn’t have to do any shopping for the tavern so she didn’t have to get, At the mention of a snack she thought for a moment and knew which stall they should go visit. “I know the perfect snack.” Taking Leon’s hand, she started to lead him through the people until they came to the amber sweetgum stall. She wasn’t going to lie she loved sweet things and this was one of the best parts of spring. Getting to the stall she saw that the merchant had the fruit but also little bakery rolls made from the amber sweetgum. Buying two of the rolls she handed on to Leon. “Here takes a bite it is really good.” She said as she took a bite of her own roll and walked along with Leon stopping at the window of the bakery as she looked fondly at the cakes.

Leon being pulled by Amiee to a stall tried to stay in pace with her as he continued to move. After reaching the first stall and seeing how excited Amiee was for after whatever snack she wanted leon had a smile on his face. Seeing the excitement on her face as she bit into it made him smile before biting into his own” mhm it tastes really good Amiee” Leon said after swallowing the bite. He then walked along with Amiee until she stopped to look at the bakery with some cakes lined up on the windows “ Did you want one Amiee?” Leon asked curious.

Amiee was happy that he liked the sweet roll it was one of the few treats that she was allowed to have now and again. Hearing Leon asked if she wanted one of the cakes from the bakery she blushed a little she didn’t mean to stop and stare at the window display. “Uh… you don’t have to, plus there are pretty expensive.” She said forgetting that Leon was a noble and his idea of expensive and hers were two different things. Normally she would only get to see and eat a cake like the ones in the window once a year three if she was lucky. “Uh… we can go inside and look if you want.” She said as she quickly finished up her roll, trying to pay down that she wanted to go inside and look at the cakes herself even if they don’t buy one.

Leon smiled “ Dont worry about the price Amiee its not too expensive for me anyways “ He said as after hearing her ask if they wanted to go in “Lets go in and take a look then “ Holding Amiee’s hand he opened the door and pulled her in with him. And started looking around the area as he continued at looking at all the cakes from the simple one layered cakes to some of the more decorated 2 layer cakes further down the store. “ Come we can take our time looking for one” Leon said with a smile holding onto Amiee’s hand as they slowly moved around the bakery.

Amiee didn’t get much time to respond when Leon decided to pull her into the bakery. She had never been inside since she normally just admired the cakes from the window. Breathing in the scent of the bread, the sugar and all the heavenly, giving a small wave to the baker as she followed Leon. Staying closer to the one layer cakes she fell in love with the one that little flower design on it reminding her of the flowers currently in bloom. Slowly making her way to the two layer cakes saw some more white with what looked like a bride and groom on top. It was sweet but given the design she knew only the wealthy families would be able to afford something like this, compared to someone of her status who would have to save up for months to even afford the cake.



Turning back towards the one layer cakes a simple one with pink icing and small purple flowers. “Doesn’t this one look pretty Leon.” She said looked up at him, wondering if he would even like this cake with it being so simple compared to everything else, but it was the one to catch her eyes.

Leon enjoyed the sights of looking at the cakes since even though he was a noble he never really took the time to go to bakeries on a regular while in his own city, looking back at Amiee as she would smile and look extremely happy while looking at the cakes made his heart skip a beat though he himself didn’t understand the reason. After hearing Amiee mention one of the more simplistic cakes in the shop he looked at it with a smile “ Yes it does Amiee, it looks pretty even though it is a fairly simple cake” Leon said as he turned his head towards her “ By chance did you want this cake? We can go and hopefully find some hidden place to enjoy it “ Leon said hoping she agree so he could spend time with her.

Leon would continue to look around the store for any other cake to see if there was any similar ones though with no luck. Though he knew he was positive that he would afford the cake he did glance at the counter to see if there was any sign that would show the price of it before looking back at Amiee waiting for her to answer him.

Amiee smiled when Leon said the cake looked pretty, she did like the see the cake. It might be simple but it was pretty no matter what plus no one said simply wasn’t a bad either. Nodding her head when he asked if she wanted the cake plus the thought of going somewhere to relax and enjoy the cake without having to worry about the guards finding them. She did notice that he looked around the store more, not wanting to check out any of the other cakes she did look out the window wondering if guards had noticed them yet. As she stared out the window for a bit she wondered if the guards had gotten information on what Leon looked like and was now on the hunt for the two of them.



Once Leon had brought the cake Amiee would wait for it to wrapped up and lead him outside the shop. Thinking of the best place to go where they would be hidden but still, can see if something was happening. “Leon how good are you at climbing. Also, thank you for the cake.” She said before giving him a quick peck on the cheek, before a light blush rose to her cheeks.

After buying the cake one of the workers in the store took the cake and wrapped it before handing it to him. Leon walked alongside Amiee as they left the store before getting a surprised kiss on the cheek blushing slightly from the kiss as well he began to speak “ Umm well I climbed a fair amount of trees when I went hunting so I should be fine. And your welcome Amiee” Following Amiee. Leon would continue holding onto the cake Leon looked around for just a moment to make sure no one was following them before continuing with Amiee through the district.
