Lilith was hurrying around the book cases, weaving in and out like a cat. As she went her stack of books got smaller, then bigger, and smaller again, as she put the books away, found some in the wrong place, and had to find their homes. It had been a few days since the events at the castle, and she was trying to get back into the swing of things. She was, of course, no longer dressed in the extravagant dress from that night, and was now in something she considered much more simple; A deep pink dress, with a blouse like bodice, and a plain skirt. She wore the same boots from before, and though she wouldn't tell anyone, her dagger remained hidden within them. Her long platinum hair was brained smoothly down her back, coming to an end around her lower waist. The library had opened about two hours before, and it was finally almost in order. So many books out of place, and she had no idea why or how. She certainly wasn't the only one to work there, that she knew. After about another ten minutes of bustling about, she walked over to a enormous oak desk, empty handed, and slumped into the chair with a sigh. She looked up at the ceiling and walls, and took a moment to just appreciate the amazing art that was scrawled upon them. She could never be tired of this place. It was like a second home to her. After a moment, she reached underneath the desk and pulled a journal out from her bag, along with a quill. She opened it to a page that looked like it had been worked on previously before. She was trying to visualize the world that the Fated one, Kail, had described to her. She was sure it was nothing like the real one, but the image in her mind was coming together. She started working on it again, adding small shadows, and details, and after a few more moments, she flipped to the next page and wrote down more of the details she had remembered from him, next to a small portrait of him that she had sketched out. Anyone who may see her journal may find it creepy, but she liked writing down things so she remembered them, and drawing the faces of people she'd met, to remember them as well. With the way things had been in her life, she never knew when someone may disappear, and she didn't want to forget. She remained at the desk, her ordering the books done for now, and awaited people to come to her, and ask for help. Most of her days here consisted of mornings of rearranging books, afternoons of sitting around and helping, then nights of stacking the returns, and putting them away in the morning. It seemed like a healthy cycle for Lilith.

Aria had slipped in shortly after the library was open and had headed towards the more secluded parts of the library. This place was as good as a second home to her, it was the same as it was a thousand years from now. She paused a bit to wave to a statue of Saden before continuing her nonchalant walk to the back of the library. Aria was very simply dressed; her long wavy red hair was pinned up in a coiled braid. Soft curls falling out to frame her small face; bright intelligent eyes looked out from long thick eyelashes. Her clothes were simple she wore a white wool dress with long bell like sleeves that came to a neat cuff near her wrists. Over that was a simple fawn brown tunic that fell to her ankles. A simple brown belt cinched the fabric off at her waist…it wasn’t the most figure flattering dress but it was comfortable and very sensible. Dark brown wool lined boots also covered her feet; she had finally gave into the demands that she get some. Aria had her hands in pockets sewn into her dress, she had pockets sewn into random parts of her dress; they contained her lock picks, a couple of her daggers, and a small red leather book. However none of these were visible to the naked eye, so all and all her appearance was fairly plain. One feature however made her stand out; that being a large blazing scar that etched itself across one side of her face. However if the girl was ashamed of it she certainly didn’t let it show.
With a spot picked out in her head Aria plucked a book that seemed to have an interesting title and went to her old haunting spot where she preferred to do her reading. She climbed to the second level of the library and used a well-placed Saden statue to hop up on, using its head as a spring board, Aria mounted the top of one of the book cases. Snugging herself into a niche with the wall to her back she got comfortable to read.
Now she had learned about these lovely comfy spots from her father; who in her time owned the library. She would often find him up there with her; or at least find him whenever he wanted to get away from the consistent nagging. After all people never did usually look up.

Lilith looked up as a young man walked up to her, asking her where to find a certain type of book. She smiled, and stood, offering to lead him there herself, leaving her book open on the desk. She was the only one working, so she knew it would be safe. Her quill marked her place. It was a silent journey, as most people never like to converse with the librarians, for whatever reason, she didn't know. While they walked towards the second level, her eyes, as usual, wandered about the beauty of the place. She was always finding new details that she hadn't noticed before. She knew the library was old, but with each newfound detail, she began to realize how old it was. They climbed the stairs, and at a complaint, she reassured him it wasn't much further. Her eyes continued to wander absently, and she caught a glimpse of something bright red. That couldn't have been right. She'd been up there a hundred times, she would've noticed such a bright colour. She brought the man to his desired isle, and left him to see what the colour was. Her bright purple eyes narrowed, trying to see further than she was actually capable. Once she got closer, she was able to make out the shape of a girl reading, on top of one of the many ancient bookshelves. She rushed even closer, to get within talking distance, wanting to warn her. Oh goodness, Miss! She called out once she was in front of the case. Miss, I'm so sorry to bother you, but you really shouldn't be up there! I know they look solid, but really these selves are many years old, and could tip depending on how you move! Her face was wrinkled with worry as she stared up at her, her hands brought up to her chest. She'd never seen her before, though she'd worked here for a few years now. The girl seemed to know the place well, as Lilith hadn't seen her enter, or ask for help, so clearly she'd been here before. She looked so beautiful, perched carelessly upon the shelf, reading away.

As Lilith had thought about Kail he walked into the massive place and gave a wissle of shear surprise. It was a massive place as he saw several stories of book shelves. He had to give more credit to the elven woman to take care of such a place. With a little remaining power of his device took a picture of the massive place. Before someone questioned him and stuck it inside his denim jacket. As he tries to make his way around to find Lilith. He hears her voice and follows it to the second floor and spots her. And caught the tail end of the conversation and looks up. To his surprise he spots Aria all of the way up in some kind of perch. "Well.........that's not surprising. Hey Aria find a normal reading spot why don't cha. Well anyway....Lilith.....eventful day so far" he asked and then looked at her. Seeing that she was wearing a normal dress. He hoped that he did not spook her when he spoke up to her.

Lilith jumped at the voice, not expecting to find Kail when she spun around. Goodness Kail! You scared me. She shook her head and turned to look back up at the girl he called Aria. This is not surprising? She was stunned to know that a girl reading on a book case nearly 15ft in the air was normal, but she took a breath and tried not to question it much more. She turned back to Kail for the moment. Actually, until this, no She laughed. Until now, I had been just sitting around really. But welcome! I'm glad you were able to stop by. A permanent shade of pink was in her face, as she'd told him before, she was awful with people, even one's she knew.

Aria was engrossed in her book when she suddenly heard a voice below call up to her. In cat like grace Aria detached herself from her niche and looked over the edge of the bookcase down at the woman. One leg swinging casually off to the side; completely at comfort up on the tall bookcase.
”I am quite comfortable, if it makes you feel better miss the ones on the second level are usually spelled to stick up straight. Not that they can’t be tipped with some effort though.”
As a familiar blondie strode up Aria gave a lopsided grin and waved. He had first met her when she was climbing a bookcase to get at a certain floaty gem.
”But Blondie my dear, this is normal…for me anyways. Usually it’s a fairly quiet spot, no one notices or usually complains….I’m afraid my other normal spots are a bit more upsetting to people if I use them.”
Aria moved over to the edge of the book case, with her book tucked away in the crook of her arm. She dropped down to once again use the head of a Saden statue as a way down. She stood on the head for a moment perfectly balanced before hopping the rest of the way down. Aria took the time to eye the woman up and down; certainly a jumpy thing. At that thought a fond smile appeared on Arias face; she knew another fairly jumpy librarian. This one however didn’t have so much sour to her.
”Hello, Lilith was it? My apologies for frightening you, and yes this is quite normal for me. I practically spent a good couple of years on these book cases. However much much much later; like blondie her I’m quite fated to this time. It slipped my mind people may not be use to the site yet, so once again my apologies”
At this angle the woman could see Aria was not quite human, though not quite an elf either. Her ears were tapered off in points that was usually hidden by her masses of dark red hair.

Lilith watched in awe as Aria made her way down the case, using the statue. She had to admit, Aria was certainly graceful in her movements, and it left Lilith nearly speechless. She couldn't imagine what her other reading spots might be, if this was the least upsetting to the public. Lilith pushed that from her mind, certain she'd find out someday, no doubt. Her blush deepened for a moment, when she noticed the red head eyeing her up and down, and when she was finished, smiling. She looked at her feet, not really knowing what to say. That is, until Aria mentioned that she was Fated. It was a different kind of Fated than Kail, as she was still from this world, or so Lilith assumed. It intrigued her immediately, turning to look at Kail for just a moment with a half smile on her face, as she remembered how she had bombarded the poor man with questions of his world. Oh it's no problem. If it is normal for you, who am I to stop you? Lilith took note of the woman's ears, but didn't question her on it yet. Because she herself was an elf, she could tell that Aria was not. They had made it obvious, Kail and Aria, that they knew one another, so Lilith didn't bother to introduce them, as she normally would have. Well then welcome to Nova- Well, past Nova, as it would seem. She let out a nervous laugh, hoping she assumed correctly and glanced over to Kail for confirmation, though it wouldn't matter, as she had already spoken it.

Kail watches Aria move around like a acrobat and coming down to floor level. Which made him chuckle a few times. But it did seem that the red head was very familure with the library. "Yes yes, I'm sure that they don't want to be flashed" he said and would more then likely get it then the other two women. He slightly raised an eye brow at that Aria seemed more from a mirror world of this one or something close to it. With Lilith though it seemed that her normal face was showing then the one he saw at the bar "So Lilith, are there any books on plants in Nova? I don't want to accidently eat a poisonious plant if I go out into the woods and eat it. Plus see if there some things that are similar to where I come from. I hope that's not too much to ask for" he asked. If he was going to be here for a long time. He would need to know some local stuff. Kail did hope that it would not be too much trouble for the elven lady.

Aria stuck her tongue out at Kail when he mentioned people not wanting to be flashed. Her skirts were well long enough not to be flashing anyone. Aria turned her attention back to the librarian, whom was shockingly easy going. Her eye brows shot up at the fact she wasn’t going to try to convince her not to be climbing bookcases or statues….usually she had to break in the librarians before they learned to just give up.
”Well then I’ll keep more out of site then. Most people don’t usually look up to begin with”
Aria chuckled at the welcome.
”Past…sort of…Things don’t quite line up to my knowledge of how things originally were…which is both a point of confusion, and a blessing.”
She would like not to be around the city if things did take a turn towards certain significant events. Aria looked towards Kail with amusement when he asked about plants.
”We have quite a few useful plants on Nova, speaking of plants I need to go on a little hike to restore my supplies when the spring growth is done. You’re welcome to come with me when it does and I can teach you some hands on knowledge. While illustration in some of the books here are amazing, it’s one thing to see it as a drawing and another to see it alive.”

Lilith nodded at Arias explaination, and agreed with her when she spoke about the plants. I would reccomend going with her Kail. I'll still show you the books- we have plenty- but the best way to learn would be experience, and she clearly knows what she's doing. Lilith smiled, and pointed. of course I can lead you to them if you like, but just in case, the general section is another floor up, and about... 15 cases left of the stairs. she was going off of memory, as no one really checked out those books anymore, but with more dated coming, she knew she'd have to relearn that section, along with many others.

Kail nods at the sudjestion by Aria and Lilith "Yes that's always the best experience to learn it with your hands. Then reading about it, but for right now though. I just want something to keep my mind preoccupied. Mostly see if I can make some treats and other things I have from where I came from" he said but did hear something from Aria about somethings were not adding up. Either with time or place and he was thinking about it. "Honestly Aria it sounds like you might have come from an alternate timeline. Like if there was a major event that caused things to split between this world and yours. Things like this are theorized back in my world as well as other things........Er sorry if went over both of your heads" he said not sure how either woman would take this.
As he did not know if he was growing a third head or something else. Since it did not look like he was the smart one. But he did know things that would some how be critical here then back in his home world.

Aria listened as the librarian gave instructions to Kail, and not for the first time couldn’t help but think she was so much friendlier then the other librarian she knew. She really wondered how Bel would handle all these new people coming into the library. It would probably send him twitching. Aria shrugged when the woman commented that she seemed to know what she was doing.
”I learned from some of the best; plus I learned from trail an error….the errors were not really pleasant….Though if you ever find a small plant with white glowing flowers, I suggest you eat a petal.”
As Kail went on to put is two cents in, Aria took a thoughtful expression. Finally Aria nodded it made more sense than it didn’t.
”It would seem I did, my only fear is that somehow this time line with correct itself and form into what I know…It’s partly my concern that is the plan that this Fate has for us….and don’t be sorry it made more sense than it didn’t. ”
Aria then turned back to Lilith.
”So how did you and blondie meet?”

Lilith listened to both Kail and Aria, and it did make some sense to her, but she couldn't comment on it, because she didn't know how. She didn't know enough to speak about it. She could only imagine the "errors" Aria had to go through with finding the wrong plants. She'd read enough of the books to know it could be really bad. While they spoke, Lilith could feel Aria watching her from time to time, but she guessed it was because she was used to someone else running the library. She couldn't blame her for that. Lilith narrowed her eyes when Aria spoke of the time line correcting itself. By the sounds of it, it couldn't be good, Lilith made a mental note to ask her later. Lilith cleared her throat and shuffled her feet a the question of their meeting. It had been such an odd night for her. Well... It was at the ball. Sort of. None of us were actually at the party... We were rather, on an adventure of sorts... She trailed off, her face red, as she didn't know how to continue. How to tell someone she attempted to raid the castle with two other strangers, while drunk, then running away to get more drunk. Kail! Why don't you tell the story. You did start it after all... She looked at him with an awkward smile, and her lilac eyes apologized to him.

Kail rubs the back of his head a bit when Aria did say something positive. "It does question on Fate here. I come from a world that has no magic at all. So it does question why I am here, unless that other fated with ill intentions that are using technology to do evil. So honestly I don't know why I was brought here to this world" he said and then he really wanted to give a death glare at Lilith but kept his cool. Thinking quickly he also wanted to read up a bit on the gods. Or some local legends since he was considering doing a adventuring in the spring. "Say Lilith, while I'm telling Aria this story. There are a few other books I am looking for. I need something that might help me with this world" he asked. While waiting for a reply he was thinking on how to explaining on what happened.

Though Kail kept his cool, Lilith could feel the glare behind the mask, emanating from him like a creepy aura. She took a breath and held in a shudder, while also trying not to laugh at the situation. She cocked an eyebrow and spread out her arms from her sides.
Name a topic, I guarantee we have it somewhere. She let her hands drop and pushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Unless, of course, it's from your world - that I doubt we have. She let out a small laugh and looked around before settling back on him and Aria.
I can -um- get it, while you tell the story of our adventure. She attempted to hide her smile, but half failed, bowing her head instead.
