Morning Training (Open)

In the morning light a pink haired girl walked out to the wooded edges of the Arch. As Kaguya had some rather pent up energy or the fact that she could not sleep in a bit more.  Since she was not a morning person, but none the less though. She was up and rather than going back to bed. Kaguya changed into something that would work as training clothes. Her top was a basic peasant's top in a faded white color and something that would work like shorts. These were a brow like color, both simple and something she could work with. Kaguya started to do some stretching as to not harm her while training. For a novian or anyone from this era of time, it would look rather strange almost ritualistic.  After five minutes of this, the girl would train by using a few kata's of several martial arts. While all the while trying to clear her head on trying to deal with a culture and mind set of a truely alien world to her. Even though she could grasp things from anime she had watched or games. It would not be enough so at the moment she was trying to clear her head.

Oh it was way before normal people were up; but Aria had been bored as of late, and her itch to cause some mischief had reached its peak. So up she was, and porting herself to the Arch. Armed with a large supply of dust of tracelessness. One by one she went to every classroom in the arch and hit up the rooms with the lovely dust that covered the room in thick layers of dust and cobwebs. She even hit up some of the hallways. She was finishing up just before the sun began to rise; quickly ditching her evidence into some poor sleeping saps room before quickly making her exit. She poofed back to her place to get dressed; where she would make the appearance of going to the arch for a visit. After some of the fun passed but still with enough time to enjoy the pandemonium it caused.

Aria dressed herself in a simple sleeveless sweetheart neckline cream colored dress. That has white ribbon crisscrossing across her chest. Decorative white roses where scattered across the dress in appearance of a climbing rose; the vine and leaves made with gold lace. Her long red locks were pulled back in a loose bohemian braid with white flowers braded into it which contrasted nicely with the deep red of her hair. Aria wore some jewelry; a gold earring cuff sat high on her left pointed ear. Along with a couple of pearl studs. A simple string of pearls were hung around her neck, along with a couple of gold bangles. She also wore a gold and pearl circlet on her head. On her feet she wore some gold colored sandals; with leather soles. She still preferred to go barefoot, but a duchess was to be dress properly.

Aria used her phoenix’s forms ability to once again transport herself to the Arch, appearing just outside the entrance of the arch. She strolled into the arch looking around; glancing over she noticed a student was awake and doing some sort of, dance? Either way it looked interesting. Aria walked over to the girl ”Excuse me, have you seen your headmaster anywhere?”

Kaguya was so into her training that she almost did not realize that Aria was there. But when she did she accidently chopped a tree cleanly and it fell forward hitting no one. But it caused things to rumble and shake slightly, Kaguya moved her head to the side so that her burgandy eye was glaring at the red head. "Damn, you should be more careful when coming up to someone" she exclamed and then turned fully to Aria. "Or something like that could happen" she said and then sighed. "But...whats done is done" she said and then looks Aria over a few times. The most striking thing that Kaguya saw of the redhead was the massive scar on her face. On top of that she could feel something coming off of her. It was rather powerful aura coming off of her "To tell you the truth I have not seen him. He could be in his office or study. Or he could be teaching a class" she said and then walked over to the fallen tree and looked a bit pissed off. The girl had no intention of bringing down that tree as she did not need anything from it. Perhaps she could ask one of the nature mages to get it back into the ground and rooted back in.

Aria raised an eyebrow as her eyes slowly trailed the path of the falling tree; her expression going to a blank mask as the girl turned to speak to her. Answering in a flat tone Aria replied ”My apologies in the future I’ll try to wear a bell..” She wasn’t even trying to sneak up on anyone; who could with all this jingly jewelry and rustling of fabric as her dress trailed along the ground. ”Perhaps you shouldn’t be destroying school property?” The woman was extremely rude, especially for someone in a public area. Aria walked over to the fallen tree with her chin held high; she placed her hand along the tree’s trunk. It still had enough life in it to force it to grow new roots. A gold glow surrounded the tree, the magic spreading through its bark and into its leaves, lighting up each and every individual vein. The tree began to sprout new growth from its trunk, which quickly sunk into the ground. In a few moments the new roots pulled the tree up right; the only damage being a few broken branches and fallen leaves. Once the tree was upright she took her hand from the plant and looked over at the old broken base of the trunk. If left alone there was a potential for new growth to appear there to. So she would leave it be.

She turned to the pink headed student who did eventually answer her question to the best of her abilities. ”Thank you, I’m sure he’ll come find me eventually.” She folded her hands in front of her still taking in the appearance of the student. ”What were you doing just now?” She was curious to the dance she had been doing more so then the fact that the girl chopped a tree in half. Super strength in a kingdom like Nova was something she had seen before.

Aria might as well talk to this girl until she could locate Adrain. It was hard to pinpoint someone’s magical aura or scent in such a heavily magic muddled area. At least from a distance it was difficult. ”Out of curiosity; are you foreign or fated?” She did have to ask considering the lovely greeting she had just received.

Kaguya wanted to wring this girl's neck but desided that would be an ill idea for her. And then saw Aria use her magical abilities to put the tree back into the ground. She was thankful that the tree would get to live and possibly keep going for 100 years or more. It seemed that abilities like these were rather common to this world.  Aria then gave her thanks for at least answering her question and then asked about what she was doing. "Ah that.....its a training routine for martial artists. It can clear your mind or focus it as well as muscle memory for certain combinations of strikes. I am sure that went over your head" she said and then Aria asked her another question. This was a bit trickier to answer as the red head was asking if she was a gaijin or fated. Kaguya knew if things got nasty she could possibly take this girl down if she was quick enough. Since the pink haire girl knew some rumors that some people would actively try and attack fated.

"Fated......and whats it to you" Kaguya said as she picked up a stone while keeping eye contact with Aria. As she was not sure where this person stood on the matter of the fated. Since she looked like someone from this world, rather then something other worldly like herself.

Adrain as usual was awake early when he sensed a familiar yet not entirely familiar presence scurry around the Arch. Serai had also been acting unusual, the large cat seemed restless and eager to leave the room that he was closed in for the moment in Adrain's living quarters. The mana signal coming from Aria was evident going all around the Arch, and about half an hour later when a staff member came to him to report that many class rooms were bombed he sighed, putting two and two together. Extra Dust of Tracelessness was located in a student's dorm but this student he knew wasn't the sort to go about such a prank, Aria having chosen an honor roll student for her throwing under the bus.

This day he wore his Headmaster's robe, his hair loose and flowing behind him in a messy pattern. His mind's eye scanned the premises looking for the 'visitor' locating it just outside with another, newer presence. He walked down, knowing the tiger would want to follow him, giving time for Aria and Kaguya to have their initial 'friendly' greeting.

Shortly after Aria mentioned finding him eventually, a voice familiar to Aria would speak.

"Well, you made sure of that...didn't you?" Adrain said. When Aria turns around, she would find Adrain literally right behind her, a shadow step foregoing footsteps, magical wind causing his hair to float while the sun reflected off his eyes almost menacingly in subtle anger, well anger was a strong word. Perhaps moderate irritation.

Aria frowned; quite simply…..this woman was a bitch. She assumed people were stupid and ignorant before even talking to them. ”I have received no formal training on fist fighting, however I’m adept in sword fighting and other weaponry. So I’m familiar with the concept of building muscle memory.” Really she wouldn’t have become a master with her sword of light if she hadn’t. But unfortunately specializing in such a unique blade meant she was merely proficient in other weaponry such has her daggers. But that would change over the years; or at least till she could get her hands on a sword like the one she use to possess. She had feelers out looking for just a blade. But for the matter at hand; this girl was pretty rude for someone she just met; her guess was slowly moving to fated every passing second….no wonder the locals hated them. ”It would be for your best interest in life to perhaps not insult people’s intelligence when you first meet them; it makes you unpleasant to talk to.” It was fortunate that the noble that this pink haired girl spoke to was Aria. Had it been anyone else the girl might have earned herself an hour in the stocks or worse. Depending on the noble.

Aria’s gaze fallowed the woman’s hand as she picked up a rock; she just cleaved a tree and now was picking up a projectile…lovely. Her eyes narrowed, it would not take much too super heat that rock that women held in her hands. However unlike the pink haired woman, she was not one to be making threatening gestures. ”What’s it to me? A trivial fact I suppose?”

Just then Adrain made an appearance behind her; she tilted her head backwards and looked up at him with a goofy smile on her face. She supposed he was speaking of when she mentioned that he’d come find her. ”Indeed; I wished to talk to you, and I wanted to be sure you’d have the time and not catch you in-between lessons.” She straightened up and turned around.

Kaguya's right eye started to twich a bit, who was this entitled woman? The pink haired girl had assumed that this woman was not a fighter or knew combat. The way she was dressed and such, made her look like a noble woman. I mean sure the scar on Aria's face could have cued her a bit to that fact. "Wow really and I thought I was being a bitch. Your taking the cake here. You could have given me the benifate of the doubt here as well. But noooooo you want to be then one that looks down at people with a smug look. Get off your high horse" she said very much with irritation in her voice. Then the trival fact hunt was the other thing that irked her. "There would be some point to that question. What was your point in asking" she was going to go into another rant. But Adrian had showed up and it seemed that the red head had some kind of history with the headmaster. And it seemed from Kaguya's point of view with Aria. Was that she was a total pain in the ass for a lot of people.

"Uh sir is she always a smart ass with people. And I do appologize on the tree, that was a accident" she said and point to the area where there had been some disruption from the falling tree.

"Well, well...if you want to talk it will have to wait until after you've cleaned up your little mess. This is an institution of education as you know, and I'm afraid I can't simply allow even a Duchess trying to frame students for mischief." he says, having to keep up appearances as the Headmaster and Duke of the Novian court. When Kaguya made a comment to Adrain, he looked at her with a sight tilt to his head.

"Well, she has her quirks...but in my dealings with her she usually doesn't go too far unprovoked." he says with a small sigh. When she pointed out the tree, he looked around and could sense that there was a tree recently mended by magic. He walks over to it and sighs, looking at the mending job and seemingly content with how the job was done, turned back to Kaguya.

"You must remember that our home and sanctuary is the First Tree. Nature is to be respected as is magic for they are one and the same in many cases." Adrain says, then sensing the tension in the air and looking at the two.

"Now...I can sense some hostility. What exactly is the problem between you two?"

”You are, you became hostile and rude without the slightest provocation. I’m only responding to the tone that you have set. So if you’d kindly give a yank on your ears and pull your head from your ass, it would be greatly appreciated”’ Arias tone was a matter of fact. The girl clearly had to be on her womanly cycle. ”I asked a simple question and instead of just answering you felt the need to add an insult to my intelligence. If we go further back in our conversation you felt the need to blame me for an action you did. You broke school property and without skipping a beat you automatically blamed me for an action you did without accepting responsibility. I just cleaned up your mess; try a thank you” Really the woman was extremely hostile, one might assume she was up to something and was just caught.

”The point of me asking was like I said to simply gain a trivial fact. It also satisfies my curiosity. As it seems that beginning a conversation on the wrong foot seems to be a common practice among fated. It tends to make us less…..liked, by the general population.”


Aria just smiled innocently up at Adrain; ”Frame? Me? Nonsense, I was just getting rid of evidence. But the fact you figured it out confirms you still have the ability to look back into events. As for the mess, think of this as a learning opportunity for the students. How to tell magic dust from regular dust. Send them to older rooms in the arch to see if they can identify the magical properties. Think of it as a practically magic application pop quiz. After all Dust of Tracelessness isn’t cheap and its unlikely they will come across it often. Seems a shame to pass up such a learning opportunity.”

Aria nodded when Adrain explained the importance of the tree. ”Now that the one who created this place is loose, I would exercise more caution than usual. Out of curiosity have there been any odd visitors other than myself poking about?” Aria shrugged when he asked what the problem was between the two. ”I can make a copy of the memory of what happened, or you can just look back to see the details yourself.”
