Date: 17th of Sato of 747 OD Time: Morning Tag:@alekirrelki It has been less than 24 hours since she last saw Aldkir and today he was coming to visit her at the orphanage. Currently she was in main area with a baby elf on her hips, the little thing had beautiful black hair, and cute little pointed ears sticking out from under the ears. The babe was currently sucking on his thumb and looking up at her with his mahogany brown eyes honestly if it wasn’t for the ears she would have swore that babe was human. She still wasn’t sure what type of elf the boy was but she was doing to do her best to try and raise him she did worry a bit about what she was going to do if boy later showed any signs of magically powers since she wasn’t sure if she could get a teacher from the Arch to come in and show the child how to use his powers. Feeling a tug on her free hand she looked down to see the five-year-old human boy that was also under her care now. “Mommy can we go outside.” His voice still a bit high pitch since he hadn’t hit puberty yet and his blue eyes brightly shining with that innocent light even though his parents had abandon the child at the door steps a few years before she took over this place. Now she was started to see some light in the children’s eyes as she taught them a little on how to defend themselves and help those that are older find jobs with some of her connections. “Sure, just give mommy a moment and she can come outside with you.” Her voice light and motherly and warm compared to when she was dealing with adults. Hearing a knock on the door she walked towards the door with babe in arms and child holding onto her hand. “Kiel darling want to open the door for mommy?” Watching him nod his head she smiled as he pulled the door open to reveal the person she had been expecting. A small blush rose to her cheeks since she must look less threatening and more like a normal female with her children. “Well good morning Aldkir.” Feeling the little on her hip shifting her adjusted her body so that he didn’t slip from her hold as she watched the babe turn his head to look at the new person.

Alekir had been prepping to meet Lily ever since they left the Grand Library. He even went out to get a fresh cotton shirt and some nice pants before meeting Lily. He took deep breaths as he approached the door to the Orphanage. There were definitely going to be at least a few kids in there. He never saw himself as the father type but hey, it was better to learn how to be one now than later. Did a light knock, knowing that it was still the morning and he didn't want to wake up anyone still sleeping. As the door opened Alekir immediately noticed the baby Lily was holding. He was so innocent and beautiful, Alekir almost got distracted. "Hello there Lily. I hope I didn't wake any of you up suddenly." Alekir's gaze shifted from Lily to the five year old for just a moment. Alekir smiled and waved to him "Hello there little one." He quickly turned to Lily again "You surely seem to have your hands full, and I can tell these two cuties aren't the only ones here."

Sai watched the little babe as he kept looking at Alekir almost as if he was silently judging him to see if he was worthy. “No it’s okay I was up a little before you came. The little one in my arms here decided that he wanted my attention early this morning.” She watched as the babe turned his head to look at her with those wide innocent eyes almost as if he was trying to deny that he was not the reason that she was up early that morning. As soon as he looked at her with those eyes she smiled knowing that she could never truly be upset with him. Looking down at Kiel watching as he went to hide behind her leg peeking out from behind here. A small blush rose to her cheeks at the mention of the children not being the only cuties here. “Thank you. Uh… the little one behind my leg is Kiel. The one in my arm is Dirkot, come inside we were just about to go outside since Kiel wanted to play outside in the backyard.” She said as she stepped aside so that Kiel was no longer hiding behind her leg.
Opening the door wider allowing Alekir to come inside once he was inside he was realizing that he was in an open room with only 3 doors lending off minus the one they came though. The room would be seemed bare minus the fireplace that had some pillows and blankets laid down before it. To the right, he would see the kitchen door open as the scent of breakfast came wafting out and he would be able to see tables scattered around with chairs. “Upstairs is where the children and staff sleep. Let’s head to the backyard.” Leading the way Lily headed to the door just next to the staircase, once outside she took a seat on one of the bench adjusting Dirkot so that he was sitting on her lap. “Kiel why don’t you go play a little while Alekir and I chat for a bit.”
Watching Kiel run off a little distance from them so that she could keep an eye on him. Moving a bit closer to Alekir, “You know I wasn’t expecting you this early.”

Alekir smiled softly at the baby, and then turned his attention to Lily once more. "Oh that is good. I didn't want to disturb everyone's sleep. Alekir noticed that the other little one was hiding behind Lily. He couldn't help but chuckle. "Well it is wonderful to meet you Kiel! I am Alekir." Alekir smiled brightly, wanting to leave a good impression. He stepped inside, quickly noticing the bareness of the room. "I wasn't really expecting the room to be so.....bare. Oh well it doesn't matter." Alekir looked around the rest of the room from where he stood. I mean it was rather nice even if it was a little bare. He followed Lily through the building to the backyard. As Kiel ran off Alekir turned to Lily. "I am sorry love. I just couldn't bare waiting to see you for even another minute. I was looking forward to meeting your kids so bad. Plus I really wanted to see what this secret room you had was." Alekir winked at her and laughed.

“Most of us here are up before the sun because of the little ones so you never have to worry about disturbing sleep.” Lily said was she smiled warmly at Alkeir, it was during times like this that she felt more relax and calm. Alkeir for some strange reason brings out this side of her easily compared to other adults that she was around. She watched as Kiel gave a small wave to Alekir before his eyes shined upon hearing that they would be going outside soon.
“Yes the main room is a bit bare. I only recently brought the place from the pervious owner so I got rid of some things but the kids don’t mind it. It’s good with it being bare like this for when we do story telling or on the rainy days for them to play inside.” Once outside she allowed her eyes to watch Kiel for a bit as ran around a bit as first before he picked up a stick and started to go though the basic sword swings. A small smile appeared on her watched this happy that he decided to take his early mornings to train a bit, though it did remind her that at some point she should get him a wooden sword so that he got a better feel of it. Her attention quickly returned to Alkeir as he started to speak. “It’s okay darling. My other kids are currently still in bed. I see now you didn’t want to visit me you just wanted to see that room.” She said with fake hurt, looking away from him, she manage to make a few tears fall as she continued to present to be hurt before breaking character by laughing a bit at her own silliness.

Alekir watched Kiel practice with the stick, which for some reason brought a smile to his face. It was probably the fact that even at such a young age he seemed dedicated to learn how to properly use a sword. Even if it was just a stick. "Like mother like son. How adorable." He muse out loud. He chuckled softly and looked back to Lily. As Lily pretended to be sad Alekir frowned, taking it seriously. Once character was broken however Alekir laughed as well. "Lily....my love....even if it was just a joke. Never ever think that. I came here because you were here. I wanted to know more about your personal life, the room was just a cherry on top. I came because love you enough to care about what you do outside of our relationship." Alekir spoke straight from his heart. He didn't want to make Lily think he didn't care about her. She was the entire reason he was here in the first place after all.

“Something like that, he wants to become a guard so that he can protect the place that his love ones call home.” Thinking on it she when wondering when Kiel would realize that no matter what she would always protect because she was his mother even if she didn’t give birth to him.
“Well my darling minus what you know I do for a living. I have a soft spot for children. I got tired of seeing some many without homes, that I finally decided to do something about it.” Looking at Kiel Lilly’s eyes soften a bit. “He was here before I brought this place. The people before me who ran this place didn’t treat the children right. From what I been told by some of them, many went to bed hungry while other were just used like slaves.” Running her fingers though Dirkot’s hair to calm herself a bit. “Sorry I just don’t like to see children being treated badly.”

Alekir chuckled softly. "That's kind of the same reason I became a bounty hunter. To deal with problems the guards couldn't. To protect the people." He watched Kiel some more and smiled, he saw a little bit of himself in Kiel. It was really comforting.
Alekir looked back to Lily when she started to explain why she bought this place. "That's really sweet Lily. And I know you are doing a very important job here. The owners before you seemed to not know the first thing about caring for children. You however are a natural. Children are quite literally the future of this world, the deserve to be nurtured properly and loved. Even if you aren't their real mother you treat them like you are. And that is what makes you a natural." He looked at Dirkot and smiled at the little babe. So small and so innocent. When he grew up he was likely going to do very important things. But that was Alekir being hopeful. "So I'm assuming most new children are left at the front door or something. But do you also take in orphans you come across in the street? I'm curious on how kids arrive here."

“I wouldn’t say I’m a natural with children.” Lily’s cheeks brighten as she blushed from the comment. She never thought about it but she just guessed that she didn’t want any of the children to grow up without a proper home or even someone they could call mother. Dirkot would be looking between the woman he considers a mother and the man trying to understand some of the words they spoke, before nuzzling his head back into Lily’s chest as he closed his eyes. Looking down at him, she adjusted him so that he was being cradled in her arms.
“Well sometimes they left at the front door. There are times that an unwed mother would come in the middle of the night asking that I take they child since they can’t disappoint they family.” Her eyes sadden a bit, “Those are some of the saddest ones to be honest. Though I do try to take in what orphans I come across on the streets that are willing.”
Looking up to see Kiel still practicing, but his stance was a bit too short. “Kiel darling widen your stance or a butterfly would knock you over.” She said offering him some assistants as she watched him adjust his stances so that he was better stable, nodding her head. “So were you thinking of finding some children and bring them here?”

Alekir smiled "Call it what you want but the kids seem feel like you have always been their mother. And you act just like it. It's quite adorable if I must be honest." He chuckled. Alekir looked at Dirkot and smiled sweetly before looking back at Sai.
"Yes it really is a shame. I've seen a ton of homeless children around Nova as I have hunted bounties. I've tried my best while encountering them, giving them what supplies I could spare. But I sadly could never take one in as my own. A bounty hunter father is never really the best role model. And it's terryifing for a kid to think if their dad is coming back from a hunt. I know from personal experience."
Alekir turned to Kiel as Sai pointed out his weak stance. She was right it was rather short. He smiled when Kirk fixed his stances problems. "Oh yes right. Of course I will bring in any willing homeless children I find. I have to do what I can to make Nova a better place. Give the youth a future. And I already have a few ideas for where to find some of those poor children. Being a bounty hunter has brought me to some terrible places. I have seen some terrible things on hunts.....most involving children. I can go back there and get what kids there are there. Bring them to a better place where they won't be harmed."

Her cheeks redden a bit more at the mention of it being adorable with her being so good with the children and treating them as her own. “An assassin mother isn’t the best either you know. There will be times where I’ll be given jobs and who knows how long I’ll be gone from these little ones. Plus who knows if something wouldn’t go wrong and I might never return to them.” As she said that it reality of it finally set in that no matter how much she loves these children that something minus natural causes might take her away from them permanently.
“I would love them but if you do I might have you stick around and help. Raising kids of different races is hard enough with only four people helping. Plus I’m sure the kids would love to have a father like figure in they lives.” Smiling softly as she looked at Alekir remembering why she started to fall for him. “Who knows maybe one or two would follow in your steps and become a bounty hunter.”

Alekir nodded softly "It's a risky job to be sure and definitely not the best job for a parent....but it does feed hungry mouths and keeps the kids with new clothes and toys. At least here you have people that could look over the kids while your gone." It wasn't much but it at least helped the disheartening fact that Sai had to be away from the kids for long periods of time.
Alekir's face also reddened when she spoke of the kids loving a father figure. "W-Well then. I mean I would be happy to help around here. It's not like I have much to do outside of hunting. I would definitely love to help these kids. Bond with them. Always thought of having kids....even if they weren't my own. Would likely need to get used to people calling me dad though. An assasain for a mother and a bounty hunter for a father. These kids sure are going to have an exciting childhood ahead of them."

“I think that they already have an exciting life with me as they mother.” Lily said smiling warmly that it reached her eyes giving them a bit of a sparkle. “I’m sure with you in they lives as well it would enrich their lives.”
Before she could say anything Dirkot started to wail a bit, looking down at him. She bounce him on her lap trying to calm the babe. He still didn’t stop crying, picking him up she cradled him in her arms. “I think the little one here is hungry want to come inside with me I can give you a proper tour.” Shouting to Kiel telling him that it was almost time for breakfast and he needed to wash up a bit before he ate.
Standing up as she rocked Dirkot a bit so that he was a bit more quiet as she leaded them back inside. Compared to when they first were inside it was now filled with children running around, laughing some were sitting on the pillows with a few handmade. A few bassinets were brought down and some of the older children could be seen rocking the babies as they waited for the few adults to bring in breakfast for everyone.
As soon as some of the kids saw her they ran up to her hugging her leg, before looking at Alekir almost with approving eyes. Some of them wanted her to play with them until they saw Dirkot in her arms and asked if she could play with them later. Nodding her head promising that she would play with them later, after she and Alekir talked a bit.
Leading him to the kitchen her eyes soften as she looked at her oldest daughter who been with her for a long time. “Good Morning Mother.” Seeing Alekir behind her she raised her eyebrow. “I see you made a friend, does he know.”
“He knows don’t worry Taya, but can I get the bottle for Dirkot here.” Watching grab one of the bottles from the shelf that had the goat milk from the deliver that came from one of the merchants that she was able to secure a deal with thank to her father so at least the babies wouldn’t have to worry about fresh milk.
“So darling would you like go upstairs.” She said as she took the bottle from Taya after saying thanks. Offering Dirkot the bottle she watched as he latched onto the nip of the bottle, as she led them back through the open area upstairs towards her office. Taking a small breath of relief, “Sorry about Taya she…”

Alekir felt genuinely happy when Lily smiled. It gave him a warm feeling that slowly engulfed his body. It was a beautiful thing really. He looked down at Dirkot disturbed, wondering what could be causing the poor baby to be so upset. He was glad it was only just an empty stomach, but he realized something then. If he was going to be a father figure for these kids he was going to need to know more about them and how to properly raise them. He might have to stop by his mothers after this to get a few questions answered. Alekir nodded to Lily and got up to follow her. He was surprised how quick these previously empty halls seemed to fill up with children. He smiled back at the kids that hugged Sai's leg, waving gently to them. Alekir didn't know how to respond to this Taya girl. He didn't quite know what she was referring to but he assumed it was about Sai's profession. " Pleasure to meet you Taya, name is Alekir." He was a little worried on what Taya thought of him as he didn't want to make a bad impression on the kids but he also didn't want to be focused on it. "Hm? Sorry about what? Taya seems like a lovely young lass."

Taya looked at Alekir only nodding her head, her eyes scanned him over wondering what her mother had saw in the man. Seeing nothing special she just turned her back and when back to work after handing her mother the bottle.
Once in the office Sai relaxed a bit for once she was thankful that Taya didn’t attack Alekir on sight but it didn’t mean that she wouldn’t in the future. Adjusting Dirkot in her arms she smiled at Alekir, “I’m sorry that she isn’t the most friendly person and she is once you get to know her. If she allows you to get to know her.” A smile lit up her face thinking of how Taya would get to know Alekir it would most likely come down a hand to hand combat with either one or both needing a healer at the end.
“So my darling anything you want to know or see since it’s not often we get time like this together that doesn’t involve fighting.”
