A strange Dream

(( Note everyone in the world of Teair Nova will see this in their sleep. ))

The air is warm against your cheek; the sky splashed with colors of oranges and reds with the setting sun dipping past the horizon. The smell of rain could be picked up in the air, with the sight of black heavy rain clouds slowly drifting over the town of Nova and their half built outer walls. Slowly the clouds begin to over cast over the less massive city than what most would remember. The capital kingdom you all remember was just beginning to grow. The hard at work civilians that were outside enjoyed the overcast, not fearing for the rain that was desperately needed for their crops. No one thought the clouds to be odd; With Their lives peaceful for the time being. With their newly appointed King, Drakan Noru, the 1st king to build on Teairs soil.

 A odd man, but his presence was always pleasant to be around. His fascination for Caster Sorrow and the Kray people who first harnessed of magic was no secret. Drakan Noru, was a open book when it came to his obsession over so the Krays. He even went so far as to adopt one of their greatest beliefs as his families Royal emblem. The God Dragon, that the krays and other races had also called the ' Deyu' which was a Golden massive dragon that guarded the skies as its domain.

The golden Deyu’s emblem could be seen all over Nova; and even with the overcast of what looked like rain. The town still shimmered with purple and gold flags of the dragon.
Finally the rain would begin to pour down, but still it would feel odd; forcing most indoors or to find shelter that wished not to be drenched.... The thousands of droplets that splashed against the roof tops and buildings were much heavier sounding than normal. Those who looked out to investigate or even look at their clothes would see that the water was not of normal color; In fact, it was black almost like tar or ash.

Civilians began to panic; No one had seen such a phenomenon before. Then a loud booming roar shook the ground; The sound coming from above within the thick black clouds. No one could see what was making the roaring sound, however, after another ear shattering roar. The creator of that sound emerged from the clouds over the town. A massive Black Dragon emerged from what seemed out of nowhere. Its wingspan stretching from one end of the town to the other as it hovered over the town.

People began to scream in panic. Never before had they seen such a massive dragon. The beast’s head thrashing as it fought to stay in the air while caught in the rain. However, its eyes were not on the town below, but on the horizon. The Golden Deyu had heard the roars of its intruder; angered by its invasion and the beasts intent on its territory. The Deyu began the first attack. Defending its territory over the dragon that had appeared in its domain over the town. The two dragons fought for days. Their breath and bodies shaping the land as they clashed and gnawed at each other. Blood splattered the land below.  Most civilians had already begun packing up their belongings in order to leave in case a dragon were to fall.

 Finally after 5 long days of fighting; The outcome was one that all would remember.. The black dragon latched its jaws around the golden Deyu’s neck and finally pierced its teeth through its scales. The Golden deyu body crashed against the mountain side of Heavens pass, Its body driven into the rocks by the black dragon. Which left the Black dragon to claim its victory and new title. Fear swept over the people of Nova again; The Black Deyu’s attention was now turning back to its prize... The settlement it had fought so hard to claim and destroy.

However, before the dragon could even react from after its kill...The Gods had another plan….. They called forth their champions; brave men and women who left their homes to drive back the Deyu to Morgg Mountain. Exhausted, battered and nearly defeated the champions did what they could to keep the dragon in place. While  Mylee, Zeapon, Ai, Saden, and even Caster appeared to help seal away the hostile beast within the volcano known to those familiar to this land as Morgg. However instead of a roar being the last thing the beast breathed out before being sealed….. Was not exactly a roar… But words.

" I will be free."

Its gargled voice hissing out those words in your mind, Just before everything around you goes pitch black. Nothing can be seen at first, however a males voice suddenly speaks out to those of strong minds and able bodies to fight.

" You're all in danger. The Goddess of Souls has lost herself and has decided to awaken a terrible creature onto this world..Those brave enough to answer the call. Go to the north outer wall in Nova; you'll find allies to help. Your champions will also have answered this call.  " The voice spoke in a demanding tone, however, the scent of sulfur alarms you; leaving you to awake on your own accord. The sight of Morgg mountain silhouetted in the distance within a pitch black sky backdrop. Its ash-filled clouds stretching over parts of the Forever Forest and heaven's pass; Noticeable almost anywhere in nova. it looks as those Morgg mountain might erupt.

[Noku Noru]

The King of Nova is puzzled with the dream he had seen; the court is in a panic with the reports of people having the same dream. If matters can't get any worse; Rumors have been reported of strange men and women in gray robes being seen asking questions about whereabouts of 'fated'. Along with people disappearing off the streets at random. The civilians of Nova are in a state of fear. Hardly anyone adventures out into the woods of the Forever Forest without a body guard or a pack of dogs to help protect them. Now fear of a volcanic eruption and the vivid imagery of a terrifying black dragon haunts the minds of the people.

What did that dream mean? Plus the following morning posters began to appear all around Teair in the kingdoms and towns. the title reading 'Champions Call' and leaving a time to meet at the northern wall in 4 days time.

Four Days have passed since the vivid image of dragons had played out in almost everyone's dreams. The entire kingdom of Nova hanging on the gossip and rumors of the massive phenomenon. Plus all eyes seem to linger on the horizon towards Morgg Mountain; fear seeping in with every mile the black ash-filled clouds creep over the Forever Forest. The people of Nova are becoming panicked with the thought of 'death' lingering at their door step; Some seek guidance from the gods by prayer, while others have taken to the streets shouting out at the top of their lungs " End of Days, The gods have forsaken us!"

To those who had heard the voice, but wished not to risk their lives would begin to gather at the Northern Gate to watch. It was like an event itself, with crowds of people surrounding the gate to see the brave souls that answered the call. Some would cheer; while some would offer gifts of food rations and prayer to the brave men and women that would show up at the gate as part of the call.

For those that followed the command of the voice in their dream. The four days prior to meeting at the North Gate would seem like eternity each night. Your dreams would be haunted by visions of Morgg Castle and a dark silhouette of foul creatures and undead. It is some what unclear what is going on at the castle. However, constant sounds of metal on metal have been heard clashing in your dream state each night. The voices ringing out in your head " Find the rest of the seals!" "Two are open where are the others! We must release the Deyu." constantly being shouted over and over in the background of your dreams.

Whatever the undead were trying to find; they were desperate. Their reason of desperation would appear at the end of each dream. .. A dark figure sits upon a throne of black grungy metal and ash. A woman; one that sits in all crimson-black armor and eyes as black as night that would peer into your very soul. The goddess of souls to some, but to those who did not know her name would remember the image of soulless black eyes staring them down. Just before waking up each day, until now.

Note: a mile before even reaching morgg castle the ground is barren with everything is covered in a ever thickening layer of ash. The Castle has several viable entrances; A entrance through the main door, a secondary entrance at each end of the castle, A busted out drain gate that is up near the mountain. Choose wisely which entrance you want to use when entering Morgg.
