“Does this mean that if we do wed i would have to learn to fight?” Her voice was a meek as she thought about it. Amiee realize that it was hard for her to do, she had hard time killing the monkey in the arena the thought of learning how to fight to kill it was something she didn’t think she could handle. Taking small bites of her food as she listened to him talking about his family, it sounded like he had a happy family with siblings. “Your elder younger sister Kristen. What she see like?”

“Yes you would have to learn how to fight, though it doesn’t mean you would have to use what you know. At least you would have to learn some form of self defense.” Leon said as she thought about her sister for a second. “Hmm my sister well she somewhat like a cat. Though she’s younger she carries an air of refinement with her. Shes really skilled with spears, and daggers. Lets see, since she’s the youngest she does what she wants. At times she could seem tomboyish though she doesn’t look the part. Its somewhat difficult to keep her occupied on the same thing for long periods of time.” Leon went on and on about her before realizing he was rambling a bit. “Oh, sorry about that” Leon said and looked at Amiee. “Was there any other questions Amiee?”

Amiee smiled as she listened to Leon it was nice to hear him talk about his family. Hearing about his sister it sounded like she might have a hard time getting along with his sister. Waving her hand a bit when he said sorry. “It’s okay… um… what is your elder brother like though?” She wanted to know a much about his family since if things worked out between them she would be become a part of the family and she didn’t want to make a fool of herself.

Leon looked at Amiee and smiled “hmm my brother is somewhat I guess you could say fit the role of the first child, He’s reliable, really strong with a sword, extremely refined. Hes also kind and loves playing with me and my sister on his free time. I don’t think he really has any visible faults that I know of. My brother is a person everyone expects great things from” Leon smiled as he talked about Kaiser.

Amiee reached across the table taking Leon’s hand. “You are still lucky to have sibling even if you guys are bound by responsibilities as a noble. Um… do you think that your siblings would like me?” She asked softly her voice expressed her worry and concern of the possibility of his siblings not liking her or even approving of her because she was a commoner. “Uh… what do you like to do for fun around here Leon?”

“Thank you Amiee, I’m lucky to have you as well though, and i'm sure they would like you, though they might try to tease you a bit” Leon smiled and laughed a bit as he told her. Taking a drink he smiled then looked at Amiee “well hmm I visit you, and when I can’t I go hunting or practice my bow, it's a bit repetitive but it's fun” After he finished he held onto Amiee’s hand “What about you Amiee? What do you do for fun?

A small blush rose to Amiee’s cheeks on the mention that he visits her during his free time. “Wait you go hunting? Would you take me one day?” She asked as she looked down so that she was looking at him from lower lashes. “Well I normally dance or sing during my free time. Though most of the time I am working so I don’t get much time for those anymore and well papa said that I get more time off from work to spend with you to learn how to be a noble.”

“I wouldn’t mind taking you hunting Amiee though you would need permission from your father. It might be a bit dangerous though.” Leon said as he thought about his hunts for dangerous game as a child and the times he almost got injured because of a missed shot. “Oh that sounds nice, though maybe you’ll have some fun learning how to dance like a noble?” Leon smiled “At least we can still spend a bit more time together now, and its not like you’ll be spending all your time learning how to be a noble right?” Leon said as laughed slightly knowing that though it wasn’t a lie she was learning to be a noble it wasn’t the whole truth that she spent the entire time studying.

“It can’t be as dangerous as when my mother and I traveled around the country with some normans.” Amiee said before taking a bite of bread, that seem to melt on her tongue it was heavenly but also made her realize how different Leon and her were. She was born a commoner her mother never told her who her father was and they travelled a lot almost like her mother was trying to stay one step ahead of someone at times. Then bad things happen and she met Calix when she was going through a half transformation and now being here with Leon as she eyes looked around the room she wondered a bit what he saw in her when he could have someone who fit into this world much easier.
“Don’t you guys normally dance those couple slow dances. There is no fun in that it’s too formal too strict on the steps compared to my dancing.” Giggling a bit as she tried to imagine herself doing those dances she could see it but some of them were not that fun. “I love that the most being able to spend time with you.”

“Normans?” Leon said as he heard her say she traveled the country “exactly how long did you travel the country for Amiee?” Leon was wondering since from what he knew she was a commoner and usually would be unable to travel like that.
“Usually we’re taught the slow dances first since they’re enjoyed more compared to fast dances during balls. Afterwards it is possible to learn faster dances but not many people do it” Leon told the truth to Amiee as she listened to her speak about dances. “I’m glad i can spend time with you as well Amiee” Leon said with a smile

Amiee nodded her head confirming that she said normans. “Um…” Lifting her hand in the air she started counting the major events that happened in her life including the day that her mother died. “I traveled for 125 years from the moment I was born. Is that strange that I travelled the country most of the time?”
Reaching over she took Leon’s hand, “Then would you dance with me after our meal you did promise.”

Leon stared at Amiee for a bit before shaking his head “125 years? Umm wow. I didn’t know it was such a long time.” Leon was in shock hearing how old Amiee was, though he knew she had some form of superhuman abilities he didn’t think she would actually be a different race. “Umm Amiee if you don’t mind me asking, What race are you? I know you're not human especially if your 125 years old”
After hearing Amiee answer him he would smile, stand up and move towards her side of the table before putting out a hand “Shall we dance then Amiee?” Doing a short bow and holding his hand out for her to grab. Once she had grabbed it though he would gently pull her up before speaking “Sorry about a few moments pass Amiee, and do you mind if we do a slow dance? I haven’t really done any fast dances since i only learned what was required of me during that time” Leon said in a apologetic though cheery voice.

Amiee smiled nodding her head, “Mama died when I was 125 years old she some bandits killed her. “ Tilting her head to the side, flashing Leon another warm smile. “Oh I’m not 125 I just travelled that long I am currently 142 year old.” Scratching the back of her head since she had kind of forgotten that she did look human for the most part. “I am a Phioric even though I am old compared to you I am still considered a child in a sense.”
Taking Leon’s hand she did a small custry to him using her free hand. “I would love to dance.” A light blush appeared on her cheeks from the closeness. Placing one hand on his shoulder and the other one they fingers laced together. “It’s okay I don’t mind a slow dance.”

“Sorry to hear about your mother Amiee” Leon said apologetically before hearing that she was actually older than 125. Leon was suprised since he wouldn’t have ever guessed she was anywhere near that age. Though he knew asking a person their age was rude so he dropped it for now and instead pulled her up close to her.
Making sure not to knock over anything she then held her by the hand and waist as they slowly danced side to side. Though there was no music playing leon enjoyed the dance as they seemed to be dancing in rhythm to a song.

“It’s okay mama wouldn’t want me to be sad about her death forever.” Amiee said with a sad smiled.
Resting her head on Leon’s chest she listened to his heart beat as they moved through the steps. Soon there were moving around the room in perfect rhythm as if they had been doing it forever, she sighed happily as she enjoyed the dance. “I could do this forever.” Her voice was a bit muffled since her head was on his chest. Closing her eyes she allowed herself to enjoy the dance to the fullest.
