After registering for an arena battle, Adkir would receive a letter with the time and date he should arrive at the Arena for his battle. When Adkir arrives at the participants entrance he would see a Guard wearing some worn out armor that seemed to be dulled and dented in various areas waiting to give the signal that he had arrived.
The arena was filled with individuals who were excited to see another match, though most of the crowd were usually from the third district. Excitement filled the air as the announcer walked forward. “Today we have a new challenger in the Arena! “ His voice boomed “Let’s welcome Adkir Frostbeard to the Arena!”
As that was said the gates opened, the crowd would cheer and bang as Adkir came into view. The arena was a large and spacious area with no cover in site, the gate behind him would then close and the gates on the opposite side would slowly open. Two red glowing eyes would shine as a minotaur slowly made its way through the gates holding a double headed battle axe.
The Minotaur would tower over the the dwarf at 7 feet tall. Raising the in the air the minotaur cried out before charging at Adkir preparing to swing the battle axe when he got in range.

Adkir had been more or less wandering around just taking in the sights and getting increasingly annoyed as his time in the city increased. He entered the arena prepared to fight a natural creature. Like a lion or bear. But nope. Something nearly twice his size stepped out. A bastard child of a man and bull. The crowd cheering and making noises was quickly drowned out, or at least ignored as he got himself into the proper mindset to fight the minotaur.
Hefting his axe into both hands, Adkir inspected that the mandible was properly attached before widening his stance slightly, placing himself into a combat stance with a low center of gravity. Well, lower for a dwarf. He adjusted his grip on the axe so he was wielding it singlehandedly, bringing his shield around front and prepared himself. The shield covered roughly half of his body. He looked this creature over. It was near twice his height. Adkir would need to be fast to avoid it. He couldn't stand there and absorb the blows as they came. One swing from that monster axe would probably near destroy his wooden shield. So he would just need to avoid it like an annoying fly.
Shield raised, Axe held firmly, and stance lowered, he waited. He would need to play defensively.

The Minotaur continued to charge towards Adkir, whom he had saw raise his shield. As the Minotaur got closer the battle axe would slowly move to the side as the minotaur prepared to swing it. Once the minotaur was in range he would swing the battle axe horizontally towards Adkir from left to right.

As the Minotaur drew close, Adkir shifted his weight on his legs, preparing for a quick push off. Drawing his axe back, he dove to the left beneath the axe as it swung, his own axe half-assedly swung as he dove aimed at the thick upper leg. Skidding as he hit, his shield digging into the dirt and bringing him to a stop, he rolls over onto his back to see where the beast is.

As the axe missed its target the Minotaur felt a sharp pain on it’s left leg. he would then quickly turn around to where the dwarf should be located. Taking a few moments to see the dwarf on his back, the minotaur began lifting the axe in the air before he began swinging the axe down with the weight of its body. As the axe was aimed at it’s vulnerable target the pain on the minotaur’s leg caused the axe to sway to the right causing it to miss as the axe drove into the ground. With the minotaur falling on one knee.

Adkir began to scuttle backwards away from the Minotaur before rolling to the side in order to avoid the axe. He pushed himself up to his feet quickly, lunged forward and jumped onto the Minotaur's back. Instead of wrapping his arms around the beast's neck, his body quickly shifted. His body quickly grew and became rather hairy. He more than tripled his weight and almost doubled his size. Within a few moments he was a full size grizzly bear practically hanging off the Minotaur.

The minotaur struggled to get the dwarf off as he would violently turn trying to shake him off. As his leg continued to worsen the minotaur would be forced to stand on one knee as the weight on his back continued to increase. The minotaur grabbed the dwarf's arms and with its strenght began to pry himself from the bear before getting away and closer to his axe thats stuck in the ground.

Adkir released the minotaur and took a few bear-sized steps back before lunging forward with all his bear strength, mouth open aiming for the meaty bicep. If he missed he'd still ram the beast, but should he get a grip on the arm, Adkir would begin to trash and tear, attempting to pull it away from the weapon.

The minotaur cried out as his arm was bitten, sticking out his hand to reach the handle of the axe. Right as he was about to grasp the handle he was pulled just enough to not be able to lift it. Turning his head towards the bear, the minotaur lifted his free arm before desperately punching the face of the bear as he tried to escape.

Getting struck in the snout, Bearkir released and took a step back. The strike gave him a slight daze but the adrenaline was coursing through his veins and he was able to mostly shrug it off. And by shrug I mean shake his big bear head and body with a quick sneeze. Once recovered, bear roar and all, he threw a massive paw forward intending to dig his claws into the ribcage. Or better yet, the tender belly.

The minotaur backed up closer to the axe as the bear roared. With one arm mauled he would not be able to lift up the axe properly. The minotaur would then move his good arm in the way of the paw, though his arm would have a large gash where the paw connected. The minotaur would then cry out before as a last resort lower its head and try to hopefully be able to kill the bear by piercing him through the chest with the his horns.

Adkir takes a few steps back, outside of a lunging attack range, and begins to circle the minotaur. It would seem that it was effectively useless. One arm had most of the meat ripped off, the other now had a large gash across it's forearm, not to mention the axe wound on the leg.
Bearkir stood up on his hind legs and sniffed the air, followed closely by a loud roar. He was attempting to hype up the crowd. They were here to see a bloody show and they sure got one. But it's not quite done yet. Returning to his original form, Adkir slowly approached the beast. He dropped both his shield and his axe, and smacked a fat fist into his other hand, cracking his knuckles.

The minotaur took a few paces back as the bear seemed to rile the crowd, trying to get the strength for one last attack he would withstand the pain on his leg for some moments as the bear changed back, taking a last chance the minotaur began charging at the dwarf forgoing the pain on his leg for a few moments as he would shift slightly side to side unable to run perfectly straight towards the dwarf trying to skewer him with his horns.

Knuckles freshly cracked, Adkir reached out at the approaching beast and grasped it's horns, dug his heels in until the beast had stopped moving forward, then yanked the horns off to the side and down in order to throw it off balance. Following it down, Adkir buried his knee into the inside of it's elbow and held it's head in place with one hand, his free hand going for his dagger, intending for a fast, but rather vicious, ending to the fight.
"Your fight is over." Adkir states between breaths in his native dwarven tongue.

The minotaur would continue to struggle but with the injuries it sustained in the fight he was not able to struggle free, especially since with every move he made caused extreme pain at this point and with his arms and leg in tatters he could barely move besides from his head. As the dwarf spoke, even though it could not understand the words itself the minotaur knew the meaning as he slowly stopped struggling.
