Tristan laid his head on the pillow in Alex's lap. He rarely showed his emotions to anybody but he felt that Alex would not judge him. As the sun peaked through the window of the Inn tavern Tristan would find that Alex was gone with no trace. He would see a simple new tunic laid on the bed. With a note written on it saying "Put this on". Alex hoped Tristan could read since many commoners could not. If Tristan tried to leave the room a guard would be outside waiting. "Good morning. I have been ordered to bring you to the Wulfric estate in the first district to meet with Alex Wulfric, the earl." He said "If you choose to accept the offer you will be given living quarters within his estate and talk of a job he said could be spoken of later should you desire it."


The guard awaited Tristan's answer.

Tristan listened to Alex as he spoke, smiling just at the sound of his voice. He chuckled when Alex said that he hated bugs. "I hate bugs too. In fact, I once screamed bloody murder as a child because there was a spider on the floor. My mother came in and squished it for me!" He laughed sadly. Tristan stroked Alex's hair as he laid on the pillow. "I think you're pretty interesting." He smiled. "Pretty damn sexy, too."

[/b]"That's okay. I guess you're right. I don't need to worry about that right at this second." He went to Alex, allowing him to be the big spoon. Tristan grabbed Alex's hand and pulled his arm around him. He brought Alex's hand to his lips and kissed it before shortly falling asleep.

-Next Day-

Tristan woke up alone in the bed. He started to wonder if it was all a very pleasant dream. His thoughts were cut short when he saw the tunic laying on the bed and a note from his lover. He laughed, remembering that Alex had completely destroyed his clothes. Tristan walked over to a mirror in the room and saw that his hair was a mess and that he had several hickeys all over his body. He liked being marked by his lover; it gave the notation that he was not to be bothered with. Tristan combed through his hair with his fingers and smoothed it down so that it was presentable. He then put on the tunic and began to walk out the door. When Tristan was met by the guard, he was at first startled to find the stranger at his door, but when he said that Alex had sent him, he quickly collected himself. He smiled at the guard. "Good morning." He offered a hand out to the guard. "I'm Tristan, but if Alex sent you, I am assuming that you already know that." He smiled warmly. "I will of course accept the offer. Thank you."
