Sima watched curiously as she entered the bed, and then got herself comfortable in the process. She was looking away from him, which wasn't bad at all. Sima felt a little better in the thought that he wouldn't be alone tonight. Sima was afraid of the idea of having a nightmare. Ever since Sima left home, nightmares were constant, and their was often never anyone there to comfort him as a child. When Sima got his own family these nightmares seemed to disappear. However, when they all passed away these nightmares returned, and more freqeunt. Sima wasn't afraid this time however, he had Lillith beside him, which would hopefully be enough. Sima turned the opposite way around from facing her and closed his eyes.
-Dream- Sima wasn't really sure what time of day it was. It was far too bright to see, yet their was no sound and it was eerie. "Your evil incarnate!" "Monster!" "Demon!" These voices shouted at him as the brightness of his surroundings faded. Sima looked around to see an angry mob, a sight he was far too familiar with. They brandished spears, swords, whatever they could get their hands on. "No I swear I'm not!" Sima pleaded with the mob, however only got a combination of returns on his horrible appearance. And sure enough when Sima looked at his hands his nails were enlongated in the shape of something more like claws. Sima was in his true form, that of a demon. Sima pushed through the mob, spears jabbing into his skin, but he moved through as if it was no concern. "I don't want to hurt you!" Sima yelled across the mob, only when he came upon a certan person in the ground did he freeze dead center. "Get lose, Monster" Sima was stunned, it wasn't the words that hurt him most but the person. His emotions let loose, and in what appeared to be a flash, the area was silent with nothing but dead bodies. Sima stared at his hands which were now covered in blood, tears falling from his face. "I guess your right.." -End Dream-
While this was happening Sima's body was looking for salvation, in something similar, something to hold onto and calm himself. Without realizing it he found a nice place to lay snuggled up to Lillith, it was rather comforting at least.

Lilith has a dreamless sleep, which was rare these days, and took a deep breath as she woke up slowly. She was so comfortable, she didn't want to move even a little bit. Her body felt warm, very warm, which was unusual in this weather, even with her blanket. She let out a tiny yawn and stretched slightly, letting out tiny squeak in the process. She opened her eyes lazily, and glanced at the room. After a moment, she spotted at plate on the table, and the night before came rushing back to her mind. Her face turned scarlet and she smiled, recalling the evening fondly. She attempted to move, wondering why her body felt so warm, when she noticed a hand on her stomach. Lilith froze, having forgotten about sharing a bed with Sima. She laid back down slowly, turning her head slightly to look at the man sleeping next to her.
Sima looked so peaceful while he slept, Lilith couldn't help but notice. She didn't remember him turning to face her throughout the night, but perhaps she'd been so tired that she just passed out. Her face was still red, but she didn't move him. She didn't want to wake him up. He look so different while he slept, like there was less bothering him, stressing him out. She turned her whole body now, carefully and slowly, trying to face him without waking him up. She kept his arm there, and looked at his face, smiling softly, still somewhat asleep. She lifted her hand carefully, and moved the hair out of his face. Putting her arm back down, she just looked at him a little longer, before falling lightly back asleep by accident, still facing him. It was still early in the morning, so there was no rush for her to get up and to work.

Sima hadn't notice much of the movement in the morning. He was having a hard time waking up. Sima often woke up early in the morning to get a quick start off the day, however, after many years of neglecting sleep perhaps his body was telling him to stay in. Sima also found the movement of Lillith's breathing rather soothing. Sima couldn't help but hold her tightly and feel her skin. Sima was doing this all while asleep of course, or at least being 90% a sleep anyways. He fell mostly back a sleep again where he was bombarded with something different. Sima was hit with a dream that felt extremely real, however, it was a happy dream.
-Dream-
"You usually don't sleep in so late" Sima looked up in confusion to a woman with long braided hair that was in the same shade as her eyes, purple. "Hotaru?" Sima felt a wave of relief hit him. "Was it just a dream?!" He got up and grabbed her shoulders. The woman responded by hitting him gently on the head with some paper from a sort of soft cover novel. "Your making no sense" She smiled brightly sticking her tongue out at him. Sima spent most of the day doing what he did back in his home world. Sima spent the morning circling his territory, making sure that his fences were properly fixed to prevent anyone from entering. Then Sima checked stables to ensure the animals were properly fed and kept after. Sima had his home in a remote location, so having your own farm was the only way to survive. Sima did what he always wanted to do, which was have a family. It wasn't a very exciting life, but it was a very rewarding one. Little did he know this dream was only a nightmare in disguise. Sima spent the rest of the night doing what he enjoyed, spending time with his children, making dinner for the family, and then getting everyone ready for bed. Sima then spent the rest of the exhausting night cleaning the rooms up, and then heading to bed with Hotaru. When Sima headed to bed, and fell a sleep, for what seemed to be the third time in the day he slipped back into reality.
-End of dream-
Sima was still rather quite sleepy, he felt as if he had an extremely long day previously. In fact when he first opened his eyes everything was quite blurry. Sima felt relieved, he almost believed that he was in fact back in his home world. Sima looked at the blurry face infront of him, without even realizing to check scents. This was probably because he felt so comfortable here. Sima placed a soft kiss on her fore-head and spoke as his eyesight began adjusting. "Hot.." Sima froze up in shock as he realized his dream wasn't reality. Sima perhaps reacted a little too boldly as he shot upwards from the beds in embarrassment and terror. The first question came to mind, was she up? Probably after he so quickly reacted to what he had done. Sima attempted to get himself out of the room, however his feet were tangled among the sheets of the bed. As Sima stepped forward to leave, in his haste, he slipped forward and went tumbling off the bed hitting his head first against the ground. He didn't yell nor scream, he just groaned in displeasure.

Lilith felt a movement around her, and as she wasn't 100% asleep this time, it woke her up. She felt something warm against her forehead, and a voice not to far from her, it startled her into awareness. Her eyes flew open, seconds later, and saw Sima jumping around in front of her. He seemed so startled, and it looked as though he was trying to figure a way out of the bed, when he toppled over and out of it completely, hitting his head. Lilith stifled a giggle, before realizing the actual situation. Her face started to burn, and she reached up to touch the spot on her forehead that still felt warm. She was looking at him intently. What had just happened? Had Sima just... kissed her head? Why? It wasn't long after this, that her mind finally registered the words, or rather, word, he had spoken before he had fallen. Hot...? Her face turned a brighter shade of red, yet again, and she was utterly confused.
...Sima? She sat up now, pulling her hair out from around her, so it was over one shoulder, though it was still a raving mess around her, puffy and bed ridden. Her face was flushed and her eyes bright, wide and refreshed, and even more confused. Sima what just...? She cocked her head to the side, barely able to speak. She wasn't sure why she felt it, but her stomach was fluttery and weird again, as it had been at some point yesterday. She put out her hand to help him up, her heart beating quickly. Everything was so weird around this man!

Sima clambered, his head hurt, but it was the least of his worries. He eventually wrestled his feet out of the blanket and clambered up against the wall. He sat their leaning against the wall breathing heavily in his realization that scared him deeply. "I didn't mean to call you hot!" Sima blurted out without thinking. He quickly realized what he had done and hung his for a moment resting it on his head in his nervousness. He popped his head back up quickly. "I just uhh I mean I.." Was Sima getting out of this through rational thought? doubtful. It was very difficult to Sima blush, and it was certainly a rare occasion mostly, but low and behold Sima was blushing. Sima took a deep breath and gripped his hands tightly. He slowed down for a moment and decided that perhaps the best solution was to come clean. Sima moaned in an unpleasant way not wanting to share this information. In fact saying her name was a little hard for him to do, but he was determined that he needed to get over what the past was if he was to move forward.
"I, thought that," Sima needed to say it, although, he was afraid their was a small chance that this could hurt Lillith taken the small consideration that she could have feelings for him. Sima wasn't sure how to put this, but bluntly seemed to be the more approachable manner.
"I thought it was all a dream.. I thought I was back home again before it was all taken away, before they died, I thought you were my wife.." Sima was having an extremely hard time holding himself together just discussing the topic of his wife. However Sima buckled himself up, and he was prepared. If you looked into his eyes you could tell he wanted to cry, but refused to.
"Her name was Hotaru.." Sima sighed calming down a bit, but this time it was really as if he was more or less opening up to her then shutting down. "I'm sorry this may have been a bad idea but.. ever since she died I have been running, I haven't slept in a bed without her beside me for years, the ground is usually more comforting." Sima meant that in a physical sense. Although Sima was holding himself together rather nicely their were cracks in his voice, obvious points of strains that he was having a hard time with this discussion. "Sleeping on that bed, at least without you there, it felt like I was just alone, my family gone, my home gone.." Perhaps all this information was something Lillith was curious about, however, Sima was only trying to explain himself. Sima got up from where he was sitting and entered the bathroom, he grabbed his clothes which he had washed earlier by now dried. He closed the door briefly for changing. When he came back he was dressed in his usual attire. However there was un-easiness to him.
"I'm sorry Lillith, It won't happen again I swear" Sima decided that making her breakfast was the only way to make up for the situation, so Sima headed to the kitchen to clean up from last night's meal, and then begin to cook breakfast.

Lilith lowered her hand, knowing he wasn't going to take it. She watching him, worried, as he struggled to find the words. She didn't respond when he blurted things out, not wanting to make things harder for him in anyway. Though, she made a mental note to cheer him up later with the So you think I'm hot? line, though she couldn't imagine when she'd be able to use it. She gave him all the time he needed to speak, adjusting herself so that she was sitting, her legs hanging off of the bed, the blanket at her torso and her hands folded neatly in her lap. Once she realized he was going to tell her about his past, she leaned forward, eager to listen, to know what has been haunting him for so long. The more he explained, the more she felt like crying. Not for herself, but for him. Crying had always seemed like such a selfish act to Lilith, when the situation was not about oneself. So she did her best to keep them in. When Sima looked up at her, she almost lost it. The look in his eyes was in a word, heartbreaking. He'd been through more than she could ever fathom, she knew that now.
His wife..? Her heart sped up, finally putting the pieces together in her head. Hotaru The name rung in her head. She knew now to avoid the subject. To avoid the use of the name if the situation ever arose. She could no longer imagine his pain, his suffering. She'd thought that they shared a similar past, understood one another, but she was wrong. As hard as she may try, she could never be on the same level as Sima, ever imagine to know the pain he'd been through, but she did know she would always want to help him. There was a nagging feeling in her chest that wanted her to comfort him, help him, like her heart was cracking each time his voice did. Her chest started to hurt, but she didn't move, didn't want to startle him. She more than understood why he wanted to share the bed now. It was a more than logical explanation to her now, as sharing it for him, meant not being alone. A sense of happiness of the best lingered along for him, and he took that chance. She knew what that was like. She was startled when he stood and left for the bathroom, and the jump made her tears start flowing, her control flying away from her. Her body was frozen, but her eyes moved freely. Why did she always cry around this man? Sure, she cried from time to time, but this often, and hardly for her own reasons... what was it about him that triggered such an emotional pull in her? She didn't understand and it only frustrated her.
When Sima emerged from the room, dressed back into his clothes, her tears had slowed, but not stopped. Her eyes followed him as he moved back to her kitchen, she could only assume he intended to make them breakfast. Food seemed to be his gratitude, and his apology. Though she didn't want either, she would always accept food.
Sima... Her voice cracked, barely making its way out of her throat. Yesterday, when you told me one of your conditions, the one where if you ever needed to talk, I had to be there? I'm taking that to heart. I'm here. You can always talk to me. Never apologize. What happened this morning, it isn't a big deal - I mean it is, for you, I know that, but never apologize to me. I don't mind it... helping you. If that means sharing a bed, because it comforts you... then fine. I-I can do that. I know what it means and feels like to be lonely. I understand. But please, Sima, Her voice cracked again, but gained a bit of volume to it. Never apologize for it.

Sima had cleared up the space already, he was oddly fast at doing all of this. It was true that in medieval times, the time period he was raised, woman were often portrayed to do the cooking and cleaning. Sima didn't care for that at all, he often found it as a labor of love. Sima wanted to do the cleaning because he wanted that person to enjoy themselves, Sima did the cooking because he wanted to please that person, he wanted to see their face light up like the fourth of July. Cooking did help him feel much better, when he first light up the stoves. Sima didn't make any Venison, however he did steam the vegetables. Sima knew a good technique for steaming the vegetables to make them really tender. Personally Sima liked it with a little crunch, but most people enjoyed it steamed thoroughly, so that was what he was going to do. It wasn't the traditional bacon and eggs, but Sima thought it would suffice. After setting up the vegetables to boil.
Sima could hear her from the other room, her voice, he could smell the tears on her face, the softness of her skin. Sima was rather surprised when that thought entered his head. Sima even compared to it his own skin briefly, and found it rather hard to not miss cuddling with her. Despite it being only for a few moments in full consciousness, and a lot more in sub-consciousness, it was nice, and warm. Sima could hear her crying as well, and he thought he specifically told her not too. Sima came out of the kitchen and back into the bedroom and walked up to her with an angry look on his face. "Shut up!" He sounded genuinely angered at her, although this was a ploy. Lillith needed a little bit of scolding, but she really needed a hug, and Sima was going to surprise her with it. So when she would likely not be expecting it, because of the tone of his voice, he went straight for it. Trying to wrap his arms around her and feel that comfort once again, and to comfort her, although Sima felt like he was being a little bit selfish, it was true he knew this would help her, but he was more concerned on how it made him feel. "Your not supposed to cry remember," Sima held her tightly for a moment, and gauged on her reaction.

Lilith sat, staring at the wall in front of her, not expecting Sima to reply to her. She'd understand if he didn't But when he stormed into the room, and yelled at her, she nearly jumped out of her skin, and she felt as though her heart dropped out of her body. She'd only wanted to help him, yet he sounded so angry. Had she crossed a line? Of course she did, didn't she always? As she cried more due to his angry outburst, she was stunned entirely when he rushed up to hug her. She felt his arms around her, holding her close to him, and she felt herself slowly raise her arms to do the same. She couldn't help but cry. Lilith felt so selfish, so rude. Yet she couldn't control them as the flowed down her face and now, into his shirt. She heard his voice near her hear, reminding her of her promise to him, but it only made her feel more selfish. Lilith griped onto the back of his shirt tightly with both hands, crying into his shoulder. She no longer knew the reason for her tears, only bits and pieces. She was so frustrated! Why was she crying!? Who was she crying for!? Why did she feel the need- the compelling need- to do everything she could to help the man before her!? She didn't know, and she hated not knowing.
After a moment, she was able to calm down and stabilize her breathing. I-I'm so sorry Sima. I'm being so selfish. Her voice came out in small hiccups, her hands still holding him tightly, as though she was leeching off of his strength. She honestly found him to be so incredibly strong.
I just want to help you, yet I can't even begin to know how. I can't even try to understand your pain, I can't even stop crying! She was becoming so angry with herself, so frustrated. This man, Sima, has stumbled into her life not even a full day ago, and already so much had changed. She just didn't understand.

Sima didn't understand it either. He was still recovering from the events that had happened before, but, even so he had changed a lot in the last 24ish hours too. It was remarkable, and it only made him curious. Sima knew however that this would be bad, Sima always found a way to make people around him come into contact with danger. Sima became attached easily, and he knew, that if anyone hurt the person in front of him already, he would be angered, he couldn't imagine if someone did that down the line. Sima was afraid of the possibility of himself hurting her, that was what scared him most of all. "Your going to have to try cause you said you would," Sima could feel her hand on his back, and to be honest, it was comforting for him probably as much as it was for her. Sima loved the feeling of attention, of being wanted or needed, and when she held onto him like that he had that feeling more then he could think of. Sima couldn't help but look at his wedding ring over Lillith's shoulder. Sima had tried to remove it so many times before, tried to toss it away, never was he able to stomach it. Sima was now thinking of an even more worried thought. Sima was a demon. It was true that this was a new world, but he hadn't learned that demons were accepted here. Demons were still creatures made from pure evil, so that meant that he was meant to be alone.
Sima looked at her, not wanting to let go, but knowing he had to. "I have to go check up on the food," Sima released his hands slowly, but the way she was holding onto him was tugging at his heart. He didn't want to let go, but if he had not then would the food become over cooked. Sima sighed, not really sure how he was supposed to approach any of this anyways. Sima waited for her to get a bit more out of her system before he decided to get up, he then headed back to the kitchen to get the food ready. He then prepared plates for the two of them and set them out. "The food is ready," Sima sat down and awaited Lillith. For the short amount of time he had been there he already changed the smell of the place, it didn't smell lonely anymore that was for sure, but it certainly smelled of salty tears.

Lilith nodded into his shoulder, and did her absolutely best to end the tears that were soaking into his shirt. She knew he had to go, to check on the food before it burned. She knew that, and yet she didn't want to let go. But she did. She felt him try to leave, and she released her grip on his shirt, and removed her arms from around his back. Hugging him was comforting, soothing for her. She felt so odd. Lilith wiped away the tears from her face and cleared her eyes. Once she was fully stable again, which took a few minutes, she stood and joined him at the table. Her face was red, but not flushed, just red from crying to much. She made a promise to herself to stop crying in front of him, and then at all. She wanted to keep her promise to him, and she was going to do everything she could to make sure she did from here on out.
She took a bite from the food, and her body instantly warmed up, becoming ready for the day ahead of her. Sima's food seemed to have that charm, that quality to it. It could instantly make someone feel better - yet another reason she wanted to keep him around her.
Thank you Sima. It's amazing. She spoke softly, not wanting to meet his eyes. She wasn't going to cry, nor was she still dwelling on his past, knowing it would do neither of them any good, but she was nervous. She'd just clung to him like a sad child, and it made her feel really dumb. How odd he must find her, how weak. She continued to eat, quietly, doing her best to keep her eyes down, though she found it difficult, as she was aware of him watching her.
You know, I'm going to have to get ready and leave soon. My shift starts in about an hour... After all that had happened, she didn't say this because she wanted him to leave, she said it because she didn't want to. But she knew she would have to, and didn't know what he was going to do. Would he go back to the forest? Would she see him again? If so, how long would it be until then? She shook her head, feeling stupid again. There was no reason to be asking these questions. She scolded herself, and went back to the food, finishing it.

Sima knew she had to go work, and that was his plan anyways. He was going to tease her. Sima already had some of his day planned out, it wasn't like he had absolutely nothing to do. "Don't worry I have some errands of my own I need to take care of" Perhaps this was meant to happen, he could browse the town for an area for his restaurant. Sima wanted a big enough space to build it himself, he had been around for a long time in his world. and he knew his own architecture. The building certainly would stick out around here, and it could be positive. Most places weren't big enough to build upon, other's were close. Sima was going to have to find something that was usable, but may not actually be what he wanted. Sima kenw he wanted the best kitchen money could buy, one so large he would need to hire staff to help. Of course Sima was going to make his local dishes, but hiding the fact he is fated made all of them seem like he made them himself, when only a small amount of recipes were actually crafted from Sima's mind.
"I'm sure we will see each other later, I'm going sight seeing today to see about locations for my restaurant" Sima admitted, "Maybe I'll find a place" Sima wondered. Sima began eating the food he had made, he liked the vegetables like this, they tasted extremely fine.

Lilith nodded, and stood to clean her plate, putting it away after. Well I hope you find a place. She was utterly sincere here, as she didn't want to live without his food. it was too good. She leaned against the counter for a moment before heading towards her closet.
I need to change for work, so I'll be back in a few moments. She left the room, and picked a lovely crimson red dress. It had long sleeves, and a lovely tight fitted bodice with black ribbon instead of yesterdays' white. The skirt went down to her ankles, as most of her dresses did. She left the room completely closing the bathroom door behind her. While there, she changed into the new dress quickly, and then attempted to tame her hair. She brushed all of it, which took a couple of minutes, and then decided she wanted it up today, mostly. Lilith braided a section of both sides of her head, and then brought them both around her head to create the look of a braided crown. She then picked up two more sections on each side of her head, and braided them as well, but this time she brought them to the back of her head and created a rose looking bun, intermingled with unbraided hair and the braided crown. She brushed the rest of the hair that was left down, and left the room.
She found her pair of boots, and went to put her dagger back in them, but remembered she'd lost it in the woods, and made a mental note to pick a new one up after work. She walked back into the kitchen to say goodbye to Sima. She didn't really know if he was going to leave with her, or if he would just leave her house when he was ready to, but she supposed it didn't matter- she knew she trusted him.
Okay, so. I have to go now. She wasn't sure what to do. She kind of wanted to hug him again, but she didn't know if he would like that, so she just stood in the door frame awkwardly.

Sima cleaned up the plates that he had used, he washed them, and then put them away. Sima thought that he was a rather productive person, at least, in the kitchen. The day was rather young, yet Sima slept in more then he usually did. This could be attributed to the bed of course. When she left to get ready for work Sima headed back into the bedroom and thought he would be kind of enough to make the bed. Sima was used to doing all of the housework, his work was was making food, hunting, planting, seeding, Sima even built his house from his bare hands. Sima wasn't someone afraid of labor that was for sure, and he missed the small menial tasks of the past. He wondered if his house still stood back in his home world, it was a curious question that nagged at him. Sima left noticing that Lillith was in a new dress. Sima was surprised he was never asked about his one set of clothes, usually Fated only traveled with one set, but he was happy that she kept her questions at bay.
When he noticed her he simply gave a nice compliment. "You look great," Sima added after she spoke about her needing to leave for work. Sima understand that, so he went over to the door and opened it for her. Sima already had everything he needed for the rest of the day. "I hope you have a fun day at work," Sima was only going to exit the house with her, he did have to prepare for earlier in the day anyways.

Lilith blushed and thanked him, ducking her head down as she did. She was startled when he opened the door for her, but once again thanked him. She realized he was going to leave with her, so that question was answered, one of many.
You too Sima, have a good day doing, whatever you decide to do. She laughed a little and turned away, heading towards the library and away from her home, and Sima. She felt oddly happy, refreshed. Lilith simply couldn't imagine that someone like Sima, she could consider her friend, yet here he was. Lilith smiled as she walked, in more than a good mood. She would make today a good day, no matter what.

Sima turned pretty much in opposite direction of Lillith's. He knew she worked at the library, finding it wasn't any difficult challenge either, Sima would just follow her scent from the house, she probably took the path many days, so her scent would be all over where she traveled. Sima headed to where he could smell a gathering of people, usually full of scents of food. Sima could easily find this and look for something he was interested in finding. Sima looked around the markets briefly for vendors to purchase from, Sima wasn't sure if he wanted to purchase food from vendors. Maybe it would be better to start a farm and grow his own produce, but one step at a time right Sima! Perhaps he would start with the vendors and as his restaurant grew he would expand into his own farm land. Sima headed around scoping out the different fresh food vendors looking for those more appropriate to his taste.
After about three hours of scouting Sima thought that perhaps it was time to check in on his newfound companion. Sima headed over to a florist shop and asked the patron their a simple question. "What would be the best to gift to someone in hopes of embarrassing them at work. The woman selling the flowers thought for a moment. "White is usually taken as a serious sign, perhaps asking someone to get serious in a relationship. I can guess that would cause quite a stir in the workplace, but their is also Orange which is often taken as a sign for that persons attractiveness, your saying their beautiful, and their is purple which is often almost a request, or dare, for someone to love you in a relationship sense." Sima thought about it curiously, but he knew the one that would best get a rise out of Lillith was white. So Sima chose a set of white roses and had them wrapped. After doing so Sima headed off to the Library, he was going their to tease Lillith in front of her workplace, but also to read about how the loaners think about handing out money out, Sima might need that information.
