It had only been a day since Nyx well Adrain found Nyx sick in the woods with her friend Selky and returned her to the Arch. During most of the night she would wake up and a healer would be there making her drink some horrible tasting potion along with ensuring that she had eaten. At some point during the night someone had brought her staff down and it was now laying on the bed to her with some of the sheets stained with blood from her unexpected usages of magic before her staff laid under her hand.
Before opening her eyes she left hand moved grasping her staff as her body pushed her into a sitting position only for her to her a female telling her that she should be laying down and not pushing herself too much. Ignoring the woman she did her best to fight her off but her current weaken state she was no match for the woman and was right back to where she started laying down on bed with only her staff and thoughts to keep her company. Turning her head just to the side she looked out the window at all the people enjoying the fresh air while she was stuck inside nursing a cold that wasn’t that bad.
Her grip on her staff tighten as she started to chant under her breath, the air around her crackled with power as she envisioned where she wanted to go the place that she been to so many times since she came to the Arch, the training ground she normally used for her classes. Before the healer could even stop her Nyx was gone her body turning into partials before the woman she heard the woman mention something about having to let Adrain know that she escaped but that was the most that she hard before she was teleported to her new location.
Breathing hard leaning on her staff from amount of energy she just used her eyes took a moment to focus. Her legs gave out under her causing her to crash to the ground the staff being the only thing that kept her from falling face first into the dirt. Her breathing became a bit laboured as she sat there, all the noises around her become one dull sound that she didn’t hear the footsteps or the voice that seem to travel towards the room as she tried to get her breathing under control.
