Lilith looked away from him, but not blushing this time. She was leaning forward on her hands, her elbows on her knees. I think that's more for you to decide Sima. I mean, your past, it still haunts you... I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I think you shouldn't decide on one specific thing until you know the reasons why. She continued to look down to the floor. She didn't know what her relationship with Sima was, but it was comfortable and fun and pleasant, and she loved having him around, so she knew it was a good thing. What she didn't know was how and if she should proceed. She wasn't used to this sort of thing, and though she enjoyed having him around, laying next to him, him kissing her, she didn't know what to make of it. All she knew for sure was that his wife was a very prominent part of his life still, and she would never blame him for that, but she wouldn't push him either. She didn't know her choice yet, but even if she did, she'd wait for him to decide as well, it only seemed fair.
She smiled softly at the mention of her skin and actually laughed at the rest. She turned her eyes to him, still facing down, and shook her head. You're right. It is all nice, and you're soft as well. But see.. I'm conflicted. She decided on the spot to start thinking out loud instead of in her head, just so he knew where she was in all of it.
I know that I care about you, but I know that I don't really know you either. But what I do know, is that you have a lot to deal with, and I accept that, and I will help if you ask me to- I have no problem with that at all. But... I don't know much about this stuff, friendship, stuff other than friendship, but I know I don't want to be a distraction to you- and I'm certainly not saying that that's what you're doing- I just.. I want.. if this is going to happen -if!- I want it to mean something. And if it doesn't happen thats okay too! I'm just saying... I don't know what I'm saying- I totally lost where I was going with that. She let out a grumbled sigh and flopped her head into her hands, then decided to flop backwards onto the floor, her arms spread out on her sides.
Ow.... Flopping as she did hurt her side, but it was minor. Well I just sounded like a total idiot.

Sima watched Lillith as she spoke. He wasn't certain exactly what it was she meant. He understood wanting meaning, but in what context did she mean? She had thoroughly confused Sima because their were many different contexts it could have, and he wasn't going to ask, not this time. This wasn't because he was embarrassed, but it was because he was afraid of what the answer could mean. Sima didn't now if she was referring to their relationship towards friendship, or towards something more romantic. Sima was afraid either way, in order for him to trust her with his secrets he was taking leaps and bounds giving her almost all the trust he held.
Sima looked at her curiously. "I'm not entirely sure what the future holds for you, but, I'm sure as long as you are yourself, I'll be in it.." Sima felt that it was a good answer, it wasn't too vague. Sima glared at her as she proclaimed her pain for flopping around so much. "Am I going to start having to hold you down?" Sima laughed, not keen on the idea, but neither against it. "Cause I will if you keep hurting yourself," Sima was slightly serious on that regard, but he was mostly playing around.

Her words made no sense, she knew that, and she could tell Sima didn't understand what she meant. She shook her head, having confused herself. She'd leave it alone for now, knowing in her mind, that if it happened, then it did. If not, the whatever. She raised her head to look at him, raising her eyebrows.
It frightens me that I know you're being serious right now. She laughed, and put her head back down. It wasn't comfortable but she didn't plan on moving. They were supposed to be relaxing, and she supposed this counted, laying down -or rather flopped on the floor- and talking about random things. She felt bad, not knowing what else they could do. Lilith still had her arms extended on either side, and really, she just looked dumb, like she wanted to make a snow angel on her wooden floor. She couldn't see Sima, the way she was laying, but she could guess that he was still just laying on her bed where he had flopped before. My bed... She thought about it, would they share a bed the entire time he stayed with her? Should she look into getting another? And a couch, since he'd clearly wanted one... Perhaps a new house, one with a fireplace? This house simply wasn't suited for two people- the bed was made for one, no doors but the bathroom, no couch, no fireplace, a tiny kitchen... She sighed, realizing how sad she was living, a tiny house for a single lonely person. She thought about all the possible changed she could make in this house- not many- and thought about a new house that she knew she couldn't afford - she worked in a library after all...
She wanted to start a conversation with Sima, but she didn't know where to start. Certain questions would upset him and she didn't want that, their previous conversation had turned into a confused mess... She just didn't know.

Sima realized that Lilith was being rather quiet. Did she think it was awkward or did she just have nothing to say? Sima felt that it was important and he shosuld perhaps break the silence by doing something. "Hey Lilith, let me tell you something..: Sima felt a little down sharing this story, but it was something to break the silence atleast. "Lilith when I was growing up, all I wanted ws a little place like this." Sima spilled the beans of his older dreams so easily. "I would travel from place to place, similar to what Iwas doing two days ago. Every night I would look up at the stars and think how amazing it would be to hae a place like this and share it with someone special, " Sima sighed breaking up the words his mouth was speaking.
"I had that dream, but only with a bigger house, and however long the dream lasted when it did end it decided to take a large piece of my heart with it," Sima put his hand around his chest, as if holding his heart, almost as if he truly believed the pain they inflicted on him caused physical damage. "I guess what I was trying to say, is that, I may take a little bit of time to get back tot that dream, and it may not be exactly the same, but that does not make it any less of a dream too me. It still has great meaning, and it's something I would die for.." Sima wasn't even sure if she would be able to pick out the great weight his words carried, regardless if she didn't his wording was sublime he flet, and he would be able to walk out with a smile, and carry a conversation despite how tense it seemed earlier.

Lilith sat up, wanting to look at him as he spoke. Her hands rested in her lap, and she looked at him calmly, feeling the emotion behind his words. She wasn't sure she 100% understood what he meant by them, but she knew it was important to him. Lilith smiled and stood up, deciding to sit on the bed again with him.
Dying for a dream isn't achieving it... It was a phrase one of her orphanage heads used to say all the time, when Lilith spoke of being adopted, or being an artist, or anything not regarding the harsh reality they lived it. She spoke softly, holding her own weight in her words, but not bringing down what he said at all. She was glad he told her what he did, and for some reason it made her feel warm. Lilith put her hand back on Simas back, needing a place to rest it, and without meaning to, she felt his wounds through her hand - an effect of healing magic was sensing where the injuries were and how bad. Her hand lifted off of his back and her eyes widened. How long had he been injured? Why didn't he tell her- was it from protecting her?
Sima, where are you injured? Her voice was shaky, and off, not liking that he hid it from her, but wanting to help. He won't let me use my magic though... She didn't care, she'd find a way to help. Why had he hid this?

Sima wasn't really sure how to react when she reacted so straight forward, he thought that she would at least give up. He slunk back into the house, closing the door as silently as he could behind him. He then tried to make as little noise as he possible, he then tried to make as little noise as possible as he tried to walk back to the bedroom. Sima did not know why he felt so comfortable doing this, almost as if it was his home, and he was trying to avoid the wrath of Hotaru. However, many things were different here, and Lilith acted much different then Hotaru did. Sima was going to have to learn what made her tick, that way he could avoid hurting her feelings, and do a better job at making her smile.
Sima slunk back into the bedroom, hoping that Lilith wasn't paying attention. Closing the door behind him he began to oddly take off his clothes, he didn't even realize it. He felt like he was home, really he did, and when Sima was home, he slept in his underwear. Sima kicked the clothes underneath the bed, he often moved things to the laundry afterwards. Sima then hid under the covers of the bed, he thought that perhaps she wouldn't notice this. Sima did want to cheer her up, but he didn't want her to use the healing magic so readily. She didn't ask him, Sima doubted he would say yes, but he wasn't sure, with someone like her he might not be able to say no.
Sima held a piece of the blanket, feeling contempt actually, he felt a lot more like home, but didn't really realize it wasn't home. He had made Hotaru angry like this before, she acted different, but yet similarly. Hotaru gave up when she became too annoyed, thus making Sima worried about her, instead of the other way around. Sima wasn't worried about Lilith in this context, because he didn't know how much she actually felt about him. With Hotaru everything was black and white, but here it was different. Sima decided he could go to bed, probably, at least he wouldn't have to worry about what Lilith thought of him anyways, or at least, try to get over that thought. Sima couldn't sleep could he?

Lilith's ears twitch when he came inside, but she didn't turn around, knowing where he was going. At least he had come back inside though. She shook her head and put her face into her hands, muttering to herself:
Why are you so damn frustrating? I wasn't even trying to use my magic on you, you idiot. She wasn't sure if he could hear her- she didn't know how that all worked yet- but she didn't really care, she was more speaking for herself. She stayed seated, hearing him get into her bed. She let out another sigh, and rested her arms onto the table and her head into her arms. She was frustrated and now a little tired, but she was to mad to go over there, so she just stayed there and closed her eyes. She doubted she'd sleep, but she needed to calm down.
Trust works both ways. I trust you, you saved me. You have to learn to trust me too.. She was still muttering for her own benefit, her mind not good enough to vent in. Her tone was shaky, and hurt.

Sima had his nap, it was certainly interesting. He did miss having an entity there, but it was rather short and he didn't enter REM sleep. Sima made his way out to the kitchen feeling like their was something he was missing. He shrugged and began making food, he was rather comfortable. Sima started the oven, obviously, also forgetting that his wounds were not visible to Lilith due to the lack of shirt and pants. The wounds stung a little bit hitting the air, but Sima healed rather quickly, and they were starting to look like Similar wounds in scope of Lilith's, little dagger wounds. Sima's blood coterized rather nicely, so he often didn't need stitches thanks to how well his body adapted.
Sima yawned starting up a pan and throwing in some strips of chicken, sprinkling on some herbs.

Lilith opened her eyes, hearing Sima enter and start cooking. Her eyes were blurry for a moment, but they soon adjusted, and widened at the site before her. Sima was waltzing around her kitchen cooking, nearly naked. Lilith cleared her throat, still a little angry at him, but her face was rosy non the less. There was a nearly naked man standing right in front of her- a nearly naked man that she had kissed. His back was to her at the moment, but she could still see little places where his wounds where. He healed quickly, she could tell, but that was still no reason to hide them from her.
Sima, what the hell are you doing? She made a face at him that was both confused and lingering anger from before.

SIma looked at her as after she spoke. He cocked his head curiously confused as he looked at her. "What else am I doing? I'm cooking!" He laughed nervously, not really understanding why she seemed so surprised when he spoke. "Is their something wrong? Do you not want me to cook something?" Sima asked curiously to her. Sima wasn't sure why Lilith was being rather odd, but perhaps it was because of the little complaint about his wounds. Sima shrugged, it wasn't as if he was hiding them, he just didn't want her to cast a spell upon him. This wasn't because he didn't trust her, but because he didn't trust magic. So he continued cooking his bacon strips happily, occasionally glancing back at Lilith wondering her response. However the bacon came first, and it was certainly smelling good. Sima was also beginning to realize that bacon wasn't a good enough meal alone and began to think what he should add to it other then simple eggs, this was not breakfast, although Sima did not remember what they ended up having for breakfast, it was probably the stuff he made in hte pots wasn't it? This would be much better.

She cleared her throat again. I'm well aware that you're cooking, but would you like to explain your lack of clothes? She looked at him oddly, wondering how he didn't notice. She shook her head and rested her head back on the table. Whatever he was making certainly smelled good, but she knew it was meat. She really would have to tell him eventually. Without looking up, she spoke; Oh, by the way, I wasn't going to use magic on you. Her tone with still sarcastic, and it was clear she was offended by him thinking she would so easily go against something he asked her not to do.
She continued to sit like that, with her head on the table, her hair falling out of the bun in strands around her. Her blue dress was wrinkled from staying in the chair as long as she had, and her side was sore, achy almost. She felt her stomach complain of hunger, but she ignored it. For some reason, her anger towards Sima made her stubborn.

Sima looekd at her, and realized he was unclothed. Sima watched her noticing she seemed to be rather down, he finished the bacon and then ate it immediately after, taking the pan and throwing it into the sink. It made a lot of noise as it clung around metal hitting metal. Sima glared at her almost with a passion before he looked back at his 'tools'. Sima had purchased a good amount of materials, well Lilith did. He grabbed some flour, as well as some dark chocolate, he had slid that into the bag, Lilith did purchase it, but he was moving rather fast and she probably didn't realize half of the items he decided to stock into her pantry. He then pulled out some eggs, and he took all of these items and placed them on the table infront of Lilith. Sima grabbed a few more items including some brown sugar, a bit of cocoa, and butter. He grabbed one of the pans and put it onto the stove, he took the butter and chocolate and placed it into the bowl, letting it do a slow simmer to a melt. After it melted he began to whisk it using a fork until he got a nice dark consistency.
After whisking it nicely he then took the pan off the heat source, setting it on the counter, he then grabbed a bowl and placed it near the pan, pouring the pans contents into the bowl. He then cracked two eggs into the bowl and and threw in a cup of brown sugar, adding flower as well. Sima then began mixing it until it turned into a batter. Sima then pulled out a sheet and laid the batter into it, making sure to line it with a small trace of butter only to keep it from sticking to the metal. Sima then pulled out some more of the batter, only this was a little bit he had left over before he added the flour to make it into batter. Sima drizzled it on top, adding a bit more of the white egg without yolk, to create a sort of fondant.
Sima then stuck this into the over which he had pre-heated before eating the bacon. He then cleaned rather quickly, as if he had done this a lot and it was routine. Sima then sat across from Lilith and sighed, reaching out his hand and poking her. "Lilith, "

Lilith had kept her head down the whole time, but her ears perked up at the different things he was doing. She had no idea what he was making, but it smelled really good. She'd guessed he didn't care about the clothes - or lack there of- so she tried to not focus on it, though it was a tad difficult. She squeezed her eyes shut, and thought of other things- how the library was doing short staffed, how Kail was doing, or Wayland - it had been some time since she'd spoken to those two. That lead her to think about that drunken night- oh! She'd have to tell Sima that, it would be hilarious! No. She shook her head lightly. She wasn't thinking about Sima, his lack of clothes, or whatever that wonderful smelling thing he was making was. She let out a grumbled sigh.
She could hear Sima sit in front of her, but she didn't move. However, she did jump slightly and look up when he poked her and said her name.
What? She was stubborn, that much was clear.

When she looked up at him Sima simply grabbed his hair angrily. He wasn't sure how to say what he wanted. He angrily returned to the kitchen, which was where he was most home. He entered the pantry pulling out some of the sake. He threw another pan and turned on the heat, he made sure to get it as hot as possible. He then threw the chocolate on the pan and it melted quickly and then began to boil. Sima then took the sake and began to pour it into the chocolate. He then also did the same thing with a higher concentrate alcohol that made it catch on fire. He put so much the flames rose almost to the ceiling. Sima didn't even react to it, other then backing away and flipping the liquid in such a way that it began to keep the fire in check. Sima obviously needed a bigger kitchen for the more complex recipes. Sima stopped the heat from the pan and let it simmer down, he then pulled out the brownie platted, and grabbed a knife. He cut out the brownies, then taking a chopstick he poke holes in the top. He then filled in the holes with the syrupy substance of sake and chocolate he had made, he made sure to drizzle it so that the brownies did not only smell good but looked good as well, but with the alcohol in them also gave off a more flavorful experience. He then grabbed a plate, placing a single brownie onto it and drizzling some of the syrup/sake mix over the plate and brownies.
Sima then sat down in front of Lilith and slid it over to her rather cautiously. He then tapped the plate making a loud ringing noise to get her attention.

Her face had a look of confusion when he grabbed his hair and left. Lilith rolled her eyes though, and decided to just watch him, not having a clue what he was doing. She jumped and wanted to shout when the fire nearly hit her ceiling, but she knew he must know what he was doing, and it wouldn't make a difference even if she said anything, so she sat back down cautiously, and watched him closer. She was not letting him set her house on fire. A single eyebrow rose to the amount of alcohol he was using in whatever he was making. What was he trying to do? The smell only got more powerful and it was making her head spin it smelt so nice. All the while she watched, her eyes roamed his back, noticing the muscle that was there, as well as his arms and legs. She was quite unused to the sight, but her eyes really didn't mind. She cracked a small smile, but hid it before he turned back around.
Lilith gave him a look of confusion as he sat in front of her, placing a plate down and tapping on it. Yet again the eyebrow rose, and she looked down to find the incredible looking brownie he'd made. No wonder it smelt so good, it was chocolate. Her eyes widened and she looked up at him.
Did you just spend this entire time to make me a dessert you know would make me feel better, without actually knowing if I would like it?-I love it by the way. She was stunned. She was, of course, still frustrated, but she would bug him later. Right now, this was a gesture she couldn't stay mad at. He was just sitting in front of her, with a peace offering it seemed. She smiled at him and shook her head.
You're crazy.
