Clothing - Detailed Appearance: Aria is a rather petite woman in vertical stature, reaching only five feet in height though she swears up and down there should be an extra inch in there. She is slender with long well-toned limbs, her whole body is well toned being exercised regularly. When it comes to womanly curves she's well endowed; filling out quite nicely since her teenage years. Her skin is soft porcelain white with a rosy tinge, her face angular in the features almost elf like with full deep pink lips. Blue green eyes stand out among long dark eyelashes. A large flame shaped scar mars the left side of her face. Reaching from her jaw line up past her left eye. Aria's hair once shorter now tumbles down to her thighs. Its color a deep red the color of garnet, its curl only soft waves. Upon her forearm a black throwing dagger tattoo could be seen. Her back held a similar type of a tattoo only of a sword extended into a sharp whip like section which wrapped around her back like a snake. Spells:
Phioric Racial ability:- Divine Spell - Aria presents herself as a phioric angel and with her abilities to shape shift it certainly seems that way. However unlike normal phiorics, Aria does not just have one form, and she's able to communicate with any creature she comes across. The reason this is such a large ability is because this is Arias main ability as a goddess. Or at least its the first ability she learned to use that stemmed from her god hood. She is able to use these forms to fight, lurk, or just hang out. Draw back is although she transforms her clothes do not. So un transforming is always an interesting experience for those around her. She use to be modest about it but after eight years with Ai being the main female role model around her she has lost that aspect much to her father's discontent.
Aria gains a new form when she meets an animal, and molds her mind with it. This ability starts as she allows her mind to take on the aspects of the creature she's talking to. If she molds her mind completely with it she can take on its forms and abilities. This plays off of her to talk to animals telepathically; this includes intelligent beings for example dragons. Also recently found out it works on other phiorics! A draw back to this ability though is it takes her a while to learn her new form, even longer if it happens to have its own abilities attached to it.
Aria since coming to Teair has slowly begun to build up her forms once more. In her arsenal is
Gorge Hound: Aria takes the form of a gorge hound, roughly the size of a dire wolf with longer taller ears, longer snout, and fluffier fur. In this form her eyes have no pupils and are just two large blue green orbs. If someone were to look into these eyes they would be thrown into a powerful illusion seeing their own death. Her Ears allow for super sensitive hearing, which is what she usually uses to navigate with because in this form she usually keeps her eyes closed as to not trap anyone in the illusion. Another ability that the gorge hound comes with is the ability to smell mana.
Barn Owl: This form just takes the natural abilities of a barn owl. It takes its natural sense of good hearing, silent flight, ect. This was Arias first flight form and she is fairly comfortable in it. She seems to shed the feathers when ever she transforms so she often uses these shed feathers as quills, or gifts to the people she favors. They are a very pretty deep red, and hold enchantments well. However the most useful thing about this form is its definitely her smallest; along with the fact she can usually fly by unheard by most beasts and people thanks to the special way that her feathers grow.
Dragon: Aria may not be the largest dragon in this form but its not small either. It is her largest form, and also her fastest. Her body is long and streamlined and moves with almost cat like grace. Reaching up to 26 ft from nose to tip of her tail. Her head is wedged shaped with large expressive eyes that take up most of her face. Sharp shark-like teeth are retractable in her jaws, and she has a large forked like tongue. On her head sit four appendages, they sort of look like the gills found on a mud-guppy, but they are used for her ears. However they serve another purpose, when she flies up really high they act as way to absorb more oxygen in the thinned out air; or if she dives under water they can serve as a means of breathing as well; however not as efficiently underwater. But they allow her to fly a lot higher then most dragons. Her wings make up the bulk of this form, having the largest body to wing ratio of any dragon species. Her wing span is up to 48ft. It allows her to fly at extremely fast speeds, her tail appendages being of great importance for being able to quickly maneuver at these speeds. The dragons natural skin is thick, and fire/heat resistant, Aria could walk through flames and be perfectly comfortable so long as the scales cover her body. These scales dark red coloring come in handy, it makes it really hard to spot her at night. Abilities that come with this form are echolocation, and a plasma blast. The echolocation is a low roar, still at a frequency that can be detected by humans; she uses this when its to dark to see in order to still fly safely. The plasma blast has a very unique sound to it, it emits a very high pitched whine as its charging up. Shorter the charge up time the smaller the blast. Longer the charge up time larger the blast. The blast acts as a very large explosion as it hits the ground, and or object. It is a light bluish purple, and at the strongest charge makes Arias stomach, throat and spines glow in its color.
Basilisk: A new form for Aria, she takes the large form of a basilisk; a giant snake with the ability to turn people into stone with its gaze. Aria's own blood takes on the ability to release people from this stone prison, which is fortunate for her considering she has one living on her property. Aria, although its a painful process, can also remove some scales in order to make the super strength potion.
Shadow Tiger Form: Aria takes on the form of a tiger, one of her favorite forms Aria is very comfortable taking this skin. It was her first full transformation so it holds some special sentimental meaning to her. This form came with the ability to turn invisible, even though she's still fully capable of casting an invisibility spell with out this form it is still fairly useful. Especially since this form stems from her divine powers it can't be interrupted by normal means.
Phoenix Form: Her Phoenix form is the size of a large swan; her dark red plumage is mixed with gold feathers. This is one of Arias forms that she’s actually a natural color for. Bright round blue green eyes peak out a delicate swan like head. Her neck is semi long she has a sharp golden beak that is shaped like a eagles, and large sharp golden talons. She has long feather like plumes on the top of her head much like one would find on a cockatoo. Her tail feathers are extremely long and much like a male peacocks only in red and gold. She has a massive wing span filled with dark red feathers; the only gold markings only appearing on the crest on her head and some in her tail.
A Phoenix has many abilities; one of which are its tears being able to bring a person back from the brink of death. It is also one of the only cures for basilisk venom. Arias tears gain these properties as well; but only in moments of great despair. Another known ability of a phoenix is its song; it can increase courage in the hearts of good, and strike fear into the hearts of bad. Due to an old injury this ability is limited for Aria in her human form; while she can sing for a short period her voice eventually gives out and she has trouble speaking above a whisper for the following day. The third ability that comes with this form is the ability to teleport in a burst of flames; problem with this is Aria can only port herself and Aria has trouble with the end location of this ability, and may find herself in completely awkward/dangerous locations; more often than not she ends up not even close to where she intended to go.
Dire Bear: Aria can take the form of a dire bear, this bear is a very large version of a normal bear. Aria can take on the strength and bone density of a dire bear. This form is large; dire bears being closer in size to a small elephant. She has long shaggy brown fur, and her form is similar to a grizzly bear. Down side to this form is it’s so big, hard to find a space large enough for this form.
Cat Form: Just an ordinary house cat, in this form she’s a petite red cat with long silky fur. Her blue green eyes are large in her small triangular shaped head. Her large ears have small tufts at the tips. While the fur around her neck and chest are longer forming almost a mane like appearance. On her furry little chest a little white tuff is the only thing that differs from the blood red of her glossy coat.
Skunk Form: Hey you don’t need to be a dire to be effective, Aria picked up this skunk form mostly as a joke. She looks like a normal skunk only instead of black its red.
Sea Serpent: A large form in which Aria can only use in the ocean; as the form takes up a massive amount of space. She transforms into a giant sea serpent; 1500ft of scaly red beauty. Her head is long elegant and draconic with massive fangs. Large dorsal spiny dorsal fins arc up over her back in multiple sections; ending at a long flowing forked tail. Bioluminescent spots line her side create a pretty sight however she can send an electric current through her body. She can also shoot large powerful jets of water from her mouth.
Gift of Knowledge- Divine Passive - Aria naturally learns new skills and picks up on things much quicker than most people. Being a child of Saden she was blessed with this natural ability. However as much as she's blessed in learning new skills she is also cursed with horrible luck; such as picking up on knowledge that often gets her into more trouble then it helps. If she's not suppose to know something; somehow she ends up learning whether she wants to or not.
Heart of the Wild - Divine Spell- Aria is able to give a person the ability to communicate with one animal. They may take on some diluted attributes of said animal as well. The companion animal and the person become bonded and know each other’s thoughts and feelings; as well as being able to locate the person over large amounts of distance
Creature of Imagination -Divine Spell- Aria can combine different animal parts of different forms, this is an improvement of her transformation abilities. For example she could mix her tiger form with her dire bear form, and have a very large cat that’s slightly shaggier than normal. She would have the size and strength of her Dire Bear form and the invisibility and looks of her tiger form. Doing this however often leaves her with a slight headache after, along with being a bit nauseous. Unlike just one form, combining forms isn’t second nature for her and eventually tires her out.
Image of Chaos -Divine Spell- Aria’s cast in divine light, her forms are consistently shifting and cycling through; looking at her will cause feelings of vertigo and nausea. If Aria speaks while this affect is occurring you would hear multiple animal calls along with her normal voice, at an almost deafening volume. This voice affect may occur before her body begins shifting. This may occur accidentally when Aria connects to multiple animals at once on a large scale; creating a hive mind effect. This ability has the side effect of drawing animals in the vicinity to her.
Negative affect of this ability is Aria is left feeling sore and stiff for a day or two. That and she may draw unsafe animals into the vicinity. Well that negative affect can either be negative or an extra f* you to anyone she might not like.
Water Manipulation -Lesser Spell- Aria can manipulate the properties of water. Aria can condense water out of the air, or remove it from most substances as long as it’s porous. This includes making it rain; and or causing flooding. This ability is increased greatly in areas with lots of water such as the ocean. Aria is capable of moving water and altering its shape, speed and nature: ice, vapor and liquid.
Spell Ward -Master- Spell will be cast on one's self. Once activated the Spell Ward will stop scrying, tracking, and magical effects that would normally affect the caster. Draw Back, Spell ward can only be played once per in game day and caster's spells are severely limited if not locked for that day. Aria’s own racial ability is not affected by this.
Greater Life Magic -Greater Spell- Aria is able to tap into greater life magic to knit back together wounds or drive out sickness. This spell takes effort to maintain; however once something is healed it stays healed until something else happens. Aria can tap into her divine powers to help power this ability; and at its pinnacle she can cure manna corruption however doing so is very risky, and it has severe implications on to whatever she transfers the energy into.
Fire Manipulation -Master Spell- Aria is able to control fire, it has led her into a jam or to for lack of control over it...but over the years she has learned to gain control over the explosive ability being able to control it to certain degrees from heating a cup of tea to creating a massive inferno. This ability is rarely used and is highly effected by her temper.
Plant magic - Master Spell- Another area she had dabbled in when she was younger, being able to accelerate and manipulate the growth of certain plants. Her favorite use of this magic is incorporating vines into her attacks to trip up opponents. Draw back is she usually needs a seed, or the plant to exist for her to use it.
Subtle Magic -Dvine Spell- Aria main talent for magic is subtlety; her more used spells being silencing spells, vanishing, lock picking. These are just a few of the spells she can do. The main trick is the fact on how she uses this magic. She hides it under existing magic or the natural manna flow, so her spells in this area are a lot harder to detect then normal spells. While certainly capable of flashy show she prefers using magic in a way where it's not as noticeable. < SHE GOT IT BACK BITCHES
Animate the Dead -Greater Spell- Aria is able to summon one very large undead creature, or 12 smaller undead creatures. Aria has no clue she has this ability, frankly she'll find it out on accident. ((Still has not figured out she has this))
The Mark -Divine spell- A branding spell that Aria will put on you if you’re joining the thieves, to accept it is to make an oath to keep the secrets of the thieves. If you try to break the oath your memory would be wiped completely of any information regarding the thieves and who is in it. That and the mark on you will burn like a bitch.
Now this spell stems from her god hood, and it was developed when she was sixteen. It has come a long way since then. Originally it was just a silencing spell that choked off the victims words, now it completely wipes the information from their memory.
Communication Spell -Divine Spell- A spell in which Aria can use to enchant a certain objects to be used as a means of communication. The objects are directly linked to Aria so they only work when communicating with her. The person can talk to her and she can talk to them. When Aria calls the person the device itself will suddenly become warm to the touch. She only gives these objects to the people she favors. The spell itself takes a long time to complete and a very large amount of energy. She can only make one of these objects every couple of days, because it does tire her out significantly because she mixes in some of her divine energy in order to get the spell to work.
Illusions -Divine Spell- Aria can create an illusion, the illusion is a trick to the eye and or senses. Developed from an ability stemming from her gorge hound form; an ability which she gained from using her divine powers, and along with abilities stemming from her subtle magic, she has learned to manipulate these images and project them onto objects. The person will see, feel, and smell, whatever she places. However if one figures out it’s an illusion though it will be disorienting but they can see what lies under the illusion.
Light- Lesser spell- Creates light upon anything it is cast on up to 20 ft.
Purify Liquid - Lesser spell- When cast upon any liquid, this spell removes any toxic properties of it. If cast upon a drink that is poisoned it will neutralize any effect that poison may have had upon the drinker. In addition, if cast upon an alcoholic beverage it will remove any alcoholic properties it may have had.
DISARM - Greater Spell- This spell causes the target weapon to be torn from the victim's hand. The spell does no actual physical damage to the weapon's wielder, just disarm them.
Levitation - Novice- An ability that allows Aria to levitate an object, herself, or another creature. A creature must be willing to be levitated in order for it to work. Aria can move an object that’s within sight by simply pointing a finger and pointing in the direction to where she wants it to move.
Living Tattoo- Master- Really this is a fun spell that Aria came up with for her own amusement. She can creating tattoos that seem alive. They really are not “living” per say. But it’s a work of art that moves in one way or another. If she decides to draw a cat, she will give it a personality and having it do random shit. Such as wind around the leg or randomly travel to go sleep on an ass cheek. The spell is a mix of her illusionary magic and partial of her ability to make her weapons into ink on her body and move them around.
Song of The Siren- Advanced-This is a spell used in conjunction with the special opal flute Garrett has given her. She uses it to play a lullaby like tune, allowing magic to flow through melancholy musical notes. The spell can take hold of a medium sized group of people (10 to 15) or just one depending on whom the spell is directed at. The spell with lull them off into an enchanted sleep; where they will experience different visions depending on the notes Aria plays. The spell can be warded off by simply blocking off the sound; and the person put to sleep can be woken up by smelling salts or they can sleep for several hours before the spell wears off on its own.
Cast Voice- Apprentice- Aria uses apart of her illusion spell to cast her voice in different places, think of it kinda like an intercom in spell form. This can be used to talk to someone say in a different room, or it can be used to give herself a voice while in another form. She cannot hear a response if she's not in the vicinity.
Combat: Aria is a master of her sword of light; much like the man who currently resides in her head she has gained much of his skills through his teachings. She remains quick and nimble and proficient in hand to hand combat and is fairly proficient with throwing daggers. While she prefers to mix her combat with magic there are instances where she feels fighting with magic is just dirty. That and she is a firm believer if your going to do it by magic best learn to do it with your own two hands first. Aria was taught at a very young age that one should always keep ones survival skills at top notch, a lesson which she maintains to this day.

These daggers are shaped just like the obsidian dagger, however made with a different type of metal; ones that are able to withstand extreme amounts of heat. Aria often enchants these with different spells; if a blade contains a spell the gem will glow a blue green.

GIFTS RECEIVED
- Opal Flute- Given by Garrett- The flute fits in the palm of aria's hand and is shaped like a dew drop on a leaf, and is easily played with both hands. The flute when played will chime a beautiful tone that can only be created by the drilled out holes by the water mage's 'water manipulation spells'. The tone matches the tone of the player so its like the flute player is singing without words.
- Harem Dress- Given by Serenity- Beautiful however on the revealing side, this dress is made of soft silky flowing green material with a halter style neck line that plunges to Arias navel. At the center of her breasts the two pieces of fabric are connected by an ornate metal piece in gold tones with green jems, that matches the metal collar that the dress begins from. The material itself begins as a dark blue green that gradually turns into a lighter turquoise, before finally fading back into a dark blue. The dress has an open back, besides for the gold ornate chain that comes around from the underside of her breast. Its purpose to keep the material firm over her luscious melons. Continuing the risky theme the dress also sports an asymmetrical hem; with two large slits coming up until the upper end of her mid thigh. Above each of these splits another piece of ornate metal in gold tones and green gems is placed. Aria plans on wearing it for Garrett one of these nights.
Biography
History: Aria's earliest memories begin back in the orphanage; but going back even further she had been born into a happy home with a loving mother and a loving father. One glorious week was this little infant held happily in her mother's arms. One week of the gazes of smiling parents madly in love and overjoyed with their precious bundle. Tragedy struck and a choice was made. Alone was little Aria left on the Orphanage step; lovingly wrapped and left with a promise, a red jewel clutched in tiny hands. The Orphanage took the little angel in; not one clue on who left the small child. Only clue was the name scrawled back on the pendent the young one now suckled on.
The orphanage was crowded, being home to kids of all ages. little to begin with and even less to go around. Much of the time it was chaos in those crowded bunks; six or more small children sharing a single bed. Often large outbreaks of knits, or sickness would generally make life miserable. Food was scarce sometimes being nothing more than a stale piece of bread and some cold cabbage soup. Older children would care for the infants, milking goats for their meals, and carrying them around on their backs in slings. Shoeless and often clothed in rags the younger children would be seen roaming around the streets usually adding to the amount of people begging on the streets.
Aria back then was as adorable as they came, at least she was underneath all that dirt. She had dark wild curly red hair, and large blue green eyes always filled with wonder. A smile always on her face despite her lot in life. Often scabbed and bruised Aria was always an adventurous type. Often being on the wrong end of a stick for getting under the wrong sort of persons feet. She was independent, outspoken, and always full of questions. Most of the time she would be found at a story tellers feet, eyes wide open as she was captivated by fantastic stories. Bards in particular caught this young ones interest, finding an escape in the wondrous melodies.
It was at the age of four during one of these wanderings that Aria came across an older boy in the market. She remembers the meeting clearly because it was at the sweet cart; and he tossed her a small caramel. Such a simple gesture, but one which gained the little girls attachment. After all what young child wouldn't fallow a strange man around who gave her candy. Day after day Aria would return back to the market and find the boy; a bond was formed. Afternoons were spent playing with fake swords, skipping rocks, exploring the city, wandering the woods and pranks abound. If there was ever a point during her early child hood in which she was truly happy it would have been during those moments.
One day the visits just stopped; worried the eight year old Aria searched for him high and low. Days would be spent fruitless. Months went by and the poison dripping from the words of her bunk mates in the orphanage began to eat away at her. Unhinged she lashed out; ostracizing herself from her peers. Beatings started as she got into fights; often being ganged up on making her lash outs all the worse. Her food was often spat in or thrown on the ground, chamber pots often chucked conveniently as she walked by. Taught not to take such things laying down Aria rebelled; always fighting back and always with her head held up high. But time and consistency had a habit of wearing even the toughest down. It was during a particular nasty beating that Aria snapped unleashing a sleeping power deep within herself. Seven children were rushed to the doctor for treatment for severe burns.
Realizing she was a danger to the children, and to the general public a plot was made to take care of the unstable child. One evening one of the woman who ran the orphanages, a priestess of Ai, came for Aria. They told her that a person had come, one that said knew the child. Aria willingly fallowed them, but she found it odd that they were being led outside. This night is still a vivid memory for Aria, it was mid-winter the holidays were in full swing. Her bare feet crunched in snow as she eagerly fallowed the priestess. She was led to a small shed out back, confused, but the woman told her to go wait inside. Aria obeyed, she was already feeling guilty enough for burning the other children so she didn’t argue, even if it was strange. When Aria walked in she smelt an odd smell; she couldn’t place what it was. But she took a seat in the corner of the beaten up shed and waited….shivering in the cold.
Aria didn’t know how long she waited there, but she must have dosed off. She woke later however with thick smoke choking her lungs. Her eyes flew open and flames were licking the outside windows, the bright orange stream seeping underneath the floor boards. Aria tried to open the door but she was barred in, and too small to reach the windows. Her tiny fists beat on the doors; her screams for help unheard in the roar of the flame. The smoke and heat searing her lungs, she retreated back to her corner, sobbing.
In her sobbing she heard a scratching coming from outside. She heard the meow of a local stray…with one last try, she turned to the boards and rammed into them with her small body. Over and over, until weakened by the fire outside them gave way. The entire shed came down, right on top of the poor girl. Covered in burns Aria crawled out of the wreckage…on top of the pile the door lay still engulfed…with a single lock barring the door. Aria knew she could no longer stay at the orphanage…She ran that night, disappearing into the city.
On the streets Aria was forced to provide for herself, life was hard. During the summer it was easier, needing only to find shelter when it down poured. She often went to sleep curled up under someone's parked wagon, or in a hay loft she may have snuck into when no one was watching. It became a talent of hers to sneak into and leave places without being noticed. During the day she would attempt to find work, doing errands for nobles or running messages. She became well known as one of the better guides through the city; knowing the ins and outs of every nook and crany of the city. Her knowledge of the lay out even extended to the complicated maze that was the cities sewers. It was this knowledge that she put to good use helping a stray rogue or two out of a tight jam. Making a name for herself among the crooked helped her as a guide. As long as she lent a hand every now and then her clients who used her as a guide were generally left alone. It was a mutual relationship and one that worked well for her.
It was when she first left the orphanage that Aria began to noticed another strange thing about herself. What once was meows, or woofs slowly began to form words for her. At first she thought she had been losing it, that madness had certainly set in. Eventually she accepted she was insane and began to talk back to her new found furry friends. Imagine her shock when she found they answered back...she realized her insanity was reality when she discovered animals would often fallow complex directions. This was a power she found was priceless; it proved to be the difference of surviving on the streets or perishing.
Now sixteen her life fell into a pattern, some days she would get to eat others she wouldn't. Her form was skinny more bone then meat. Obviously lacking good nutrition but such a state was normal for most in the lower districts. When she was too weak to find food, it always seemed to find her. Life was tough but she always managed to get by. One day something most unusual happened, a small pillar of fire shortly fallowed by a very angry red eyed male. A demon it turned out had been banished to this world right before her eyes...so what did she do? She followed him of course. Grumpy as he was she liked the strange fellow. Who would have guessed he would end up playing a large part in her life.
One day Aria was fulfilling her end of the deal and leading some wrong doers to freedom when the need to split up and hide arose. Seeing how most wouldn't brave the sewers that were Arias go to choice for a quick getaway. Usually it was a good choice but this time she happened to drop right in front of the only two freaking people taking a leisurely stroll through the sewers. This was kind of an oh shit moment for her, because the person she jumped down in front of had a giant tigers head and was covered in fur. These beasts were unnerving and made her freeze in fear; only to hear another man with skunk colored hair ask the other to ask if she was ok. The one eyed skunk man not even glancing at her....shortly after she fled.
A clean escape made Aria soon met another person that would play a role in her life; a white haired man with the strangest tiger. The tiger being the one to catch her interest, Aria instantly bonded with the odd beast. Soon gaining the notice of its owner; he offered to buy her a meal out of kindness and pity. A gesture that touched her for such kindness was odd to find. There meeting was brief but it was the first of many to come.
Aria went along with her normal business, until one guide job went awry. It was a job for a noble and the person hired her and another off the streets to help guard his precious cargo. When the cargo went missing guess who was conveniently placed to blame. Stealing from a noble was a serious crime; Aria was severely beaten as she denied being involved in any of it. Still claiming her innocence Aria was carted off to the castles prisons. She awoke in her cell beaten and confused, her mind foggy from a set in concussion. She awoke in time to see a finely dressed man come down dragging another prisoner by chains. She called out her innocence like so many those around her. He reacted by stopping at her cell and grabbing the woman whom he led down in chains to the bars of her cell and demanded her to proclaim it again. She did, and the woman whom was beaten black and blue her head shaved to stubble confirmed her innocence...Not that it mattered much for he threw the woman in the cell across from her and left. Moments later a guard came down into the cells and began to release the battered woman. She stopped him and directed him to take her and run. When he turned to do so she was shocked to find the man was the same one she had met in the sewers days earlier. He released her and went to work on freeing the other woman. She spoke to him saying new hero's were arising, and then turned to her and said to never lose the light in the darkness. As she finished two guards came down weapons raised. The one eyed man was quick to react quickly gutting one before turning to the other....To see another man's life leave through his eyes while his guts spills to the floor was one that unraveled Aria. Her powers activated when she was stressed went out in full panic mode; they couldn't get caught and they needed to get out. Reacting to her distress anything that was nearby reacted, mainly the rats which came in swarms. Quickly overwhelming the other guard which quickly met a gruesome death.
A wave of pain, as lives were blinked out into nothingness. She felt herself die a thousand times over as a large wave of energy tore through the cells. As Aria came to her senses there was a large hole in the floor; the emperor Zarious stood on the other side of the small gully with sword in hand. The corpses of the rats who came to rescue her littered the floor. They were caught there was no way they were going to escape...that was until the emperor did something most strange. He gave them a choice; to attempt to get past with the strange shaved woman, or to leave her and go freely. To this day she doesn't know what prompted the Emperor to give them that choice. It resulted with the man reluctantly leaving the woman to the emperor's clutches and taking her and running.
Course he never specified how long free would last; she soon found herself being hunted........and for the oddest reason. Claims that she was associated with the King of Thieves popped up, somehow possessing valuable information. This caused confusion to no end and resulted in her being on the run. It was ducking capture a second time that she once more ran into the white haired man known as Adrain. Concerned for her safety he offered to protect her; but first she would have to change to avoid capture. So there in the back ally Adrain proceeded to cut her waist length hair to a short hair cut that bobbed around her ears and turn it to a muddy brown. It was in this act that once again the one eyed man made an appearance. Aria had put two and two together and called him out on being the King of Thieves; to which he responded with an invitation into the Thieves of Nova. Seeing how she was already being hunted for it Aria agreed.
Aria was no more and a young boy by the name of Alex took her place. She had bound her chest flat and had put on pants and a tunic instead of the skirts which were expected of woman to wear. As a boy jobs certainly came easier, for she was hired to work as a stable hand at a tavern in the lower district. Once more she ran into the demon she had run into in the alley; he was angered to find a boy instead of Aria, resulting in an attack. One which was quickly interrupted by Adrain making an appearance and thoroughly kicking his ass for hurting the young girl, before revealing it was Aria the whole while. So her situation was now known to three.
Her association with the thieves proved to be most fortunate as the man she now knew as Garrett led her to the Bloody Mary. Where he introduced her to an Elvish woman known as the silver maiden. This woman was the third officer of the Thieves of Nova and she had a personality bigger then her breasts. Aria took a liking to the older female whom quickly turned into a role model for her.
Seeing how she had a job now that she posed as Alex she found her free time extended greatly. One which she spent in the market much like she used to when she was younger. It was during one of these afternoons that a jumpy scrawny man seemed to be getting picked on. She stepped in; seeing how he was carrying books and that he announced he was a Liberian she instantly took interest. Aria had always wished that she could read and instantly went to pestering the scrawny man on how one would go about learning. His response was to tell her that little gruddy boys should know where they belong and learn not to over reach their station. Now that had just rubbed her the wrong way, so she took it upon herself to drive this man nuts for the rest of the day. She followed him to his work much to his displeasure. Where she pestered him more for information on how to learn how to read. It was during a point of a melt down on the librarians end that Adrain made an appearance. Surprised to see her there he asked what she was doing. She told him her wish to learn and in another act of kindness proceeded to work something out with the librarian. While the angry librarian changed his toon quite quickly with the foreign Prince Aria was asked to wait by one of the numerous statues of the god Saden in the library. Unhappy and sure her new friend was getting swindled she couldn't help but turn to the statue and ask it to bestow wrathy paper cuts onto the librarian. Hearing the odd request to the statue the owner of the Library, a man by the name of Sand, approached her and asked why she would ask such a thing. She told him why only to see the man do some weird thing with ink....resulting in a terrified librarian. From that moment she decided she like this man. With that Arias education was secured, her new teacher the one she wished wrathy paper cuts to...so a fate much worse than any paper cut.
While Adrain and the librarian were talking Aria was intrigued by the man named Sand. He had a serious if not sad looking face but his humor was evident in his actions. More so when he suddenly began to read to her from a small little red book; titled the girl who dressed as a man.
Things began to look brighter once more; she gained yet another friend a demoness named Roxy. She also gained a new companion; whom she named Briar. Trained as a war horse Briar had a temper; being so hot headed the previous owner was eager to be rid of him. The grand races were coming up at the White Stag Arena and the prize was a hefty sum. The tavern owner whom Aria worked for took a chance and bought the beast. The lad who worked for him was small and light and had a fair hand with animals; so naturally he gave the beast to the boy to train. Aria was delighted to meet the grumpy horse; yes she got nipped at and kicked a few times but she grew on the beast. She named him Briar a name which he found suited him well. Aria learned threw her gift that Briar's temper came from mistreatment from his old owner, who was much to firm on the bit and never checked his saddles for burs. With constant care Aria grew on Briar seeing her as spirited as a young philly and as silly as one as well. He decided he would allow Aria to ride him in the upcoming race, one which they went on to win. The tavern keeper being delighted with the prize in turn gave Aria Briar to keep as her very own. After all it was her or the butcher.
Roxy who began just as an acquaintance became a regular part of Arias life; they shared many conversations and Aria found her very useful in learning about another realms demons...it made it a bit easier to understand her other temperamental friend. However as great as these new found friendships were Arias health began to take a turn for the worse. Her movements became sluggish and painful, and she felt incredibly nauseas, and this feeling only became worse as the week went on. Black spots began to creep up starting from her belly; it was a symptom she had missed entirely. Her friends how ever did not notice the change in the normally hyperactive girls character so her deadly symptoms almost went unnoticed. Sand noticed the girls condition and asked her what was wrong; being the blunt type she honestly told him. It was here that he delivered the most dreadful news; she was going to die. It was a disease known as Manna Corruption; a deadly disease besides for a lucky few. Panicked she was, for there was much she had unfinished in her short life. The mystery of where she came from, the lack of time with her new friends, to know it was going to end so soon devastated the poor girl. Sand not able to see the child in pain did something he wasn't suppose to do; for he had his own rules he needed to fallow. To calm the child Sand read to Aria from the little red book; a fathers last caring words and promise to his young daughter. Aria at this point had accepted she was the character in this strange book; she accepted these words meant for her, but this only raised more questions from the mysterious library owner. Sand while having Aria thoroughly distracted cured Aria, along with removing the source that caused the corruption to begin with. Who would have guessed that something would come back and slap her across the face later that year.
Aria cured had a second chance on life; her close brush with death kept between herself and Sand. Once again things turned rocky on a trip to the hot springs. Creo, Bel her jumpy teacher, Dante her grumpy demon friend, and Roxy all met up at the spring. Aria still being Alex that time chose not to partake in the baths; more of a side line chatter. She had come to the springs with Creo and she found she liked the place. However they were then visited by another being it, a man showed up in the springs with skin as black as night with horns set upon his head. A wicked shark like grin and deep red predator like eyes, he was a man of legend. The gods were said to have left Fey over a thousand years ago, many didn't believe they still existed. But here one was right in the watery pools and heading straight for Aria. He trailed a tongue along her cheek claiming she tasted oh so good. Creep defenses activated Aria did what any teenage girl being licked by a strange creepy man would do. She punched him in the face; flames erupting around her hand. She had just punched and burned the face of a gods... Her thoughts 'ohhh... shit!'
Her friends jumped up in her defense; trying to talk the god down. Aria seeing this as probably a onetime chance to talk to a god wanted to ask some questions....Bel quickly shut her up. Apparently it wasn't a good time to satisfy ones curiosity. Creo was the one to save the day as she invited the demon to her home at the Bloody Mary for a meal. Appeased the god Zepon left...for the time being. Angered the other demon named Dante turned on Aria for her stupidity. He exposed her to her friends to be the girl she was, ripping the bindings from her chest. Leaving the young Aria mortified along with a couple shocked friends. Sensing Arias distress Adrains tiger led the white haired man to the springs; seeing that once again the demon had turned on Aria angered him. Once more the demon was faced with a very angry mage.
Exposed and feeling as though she owed a debt Aria began to spend more of her spare time at the Mary. She helped out as a bar maid, cleaning, serving food, pest control, and other odd jobs. A decision was made for her to try to better control over her abilities. After all accidently burning a god in the face was reason enough not to do it again...though she still meant to punch him she won't deny that. Aria approached Adrain for lessons, his first act was to direct her to the library. Aria put her reading lessons to good use as she began her research. Sand once again present inquired to what she was going; him being easy to confide in told him what she was attempting to do. She confided in the incident at the spring and even towards the incident in the cells where she had lost control of another type of power. Sand in turn educated her upon a special piece of jewelry that she always wore; the necklace he told her was called a fire stone. As long as she wore it, she would not have to worry about losing to her powers at least until she gained control over them. Safety ensured and worries set aside Aria dove into the world of magic. Reading every book she could get her hand on and practicing in secret. Adrian provided the base that she needed and she took off on her own after that.
Progress was being made Aria took another trip back to the springs; Serai came with her for the tiger spent its time away from its master with her. Serai proved to be the trigger for her first transformation; at least partial transformation. She allowed herself to get into the large beasts head, experiencing the world threw his eyes. When she opened her own she found fur covered her body, claws on her hands, her ears had traveled to the top of her head and formed into ones much like the tiger her sat by her. She could smell better; hear better, even had a tail. This new revelation was an exciting one, not only could she talk to animals she could change into them as well.
Her job as a stable hand was not forgotten as she continued to perform her day to day duties; she was often finished quickly because she often had help from unlikely places. One day a panicked chicken burst out from inside the tavern; she caught glimpses of a red headed man and something involving a trunk...chickens where always confusing to talk to. Curious on what happened to the poor animal she went inside; only to run into Roxy. Roxy wasn't looking so good; Aria recognized the symptoms off the bat...and so did the chicken man. The man called for someone to summon Dr Myles, and to say the crown and dagger needed him. This man was a part of the thieves; information that was intriguing but placed aside due to the worry for her friend. Dr. Myles proved to be a greater mystery; he smelled of spring and seemed a bit off his rocker. He brought her friend up into a room to heal her, Aria by then knew the process that was require offered to help. Her help was denied as she witness something most curious. Myles had a faint image of wings as he pulled the corrupted mana from Roxy....and considering her experience at the springs Arias hunch did not seem too far off...especially do the fact his name was a letter or two off.. The old senile man cured Roxy, and gave them both a pretty white flower. When he went to leave the horse he arrived on was somehow missing; along with the red head who had called for him. Aria allowed Myles to ride back to his clinic on Briar.
She ran into the red haired man once more at the Mary, well more like he rammed in. Aria was having some girl talk with Creo when her door suddenly got kicked in. There with a bouquet of flowers in hand he boisterously asked the silver maiden out; much to a certain crushing scrawny librarian's demise. More so when Creo agreed to it; however there was a catch and Aria was to be dragged along...who in return dragged Bel along. Her teacher only agreeing due to the simple fact, Aria should never be left unsupervised...or at least that's what he told himself.
A daily routine to the springs was established. After a daily soak she decided to work on her new found form; transforming into the human tiger hybrid. During her run through the forest she happened upon Dante and a strange site indeed. He was working with odd circles filled with ruins; a monstrous demon being summoned forth. She sat back and watched, until she noticed the demon begin to belittle the other whom she considered a friend despite their shaky foundation. Aria stepped out and challenged what the demon lord umbra was feeding to Dante; they exchanged arguments. All while Aria slowly approached the runes; in a sly move Aria began to alter the markings on the ground. Adding embellishments of her own onto the demonic rune. Aria being a firm believer where ever there was evil there was light in it somewhere spoke of such a balance. Where there was destruction soon came new life. She demonstrated this all while directing her speech not towards Umbra but towards Dante whom was struggling with himself. She wanted to get the point across that there was good in him for she had seen it and to not let Umbra poison him with his words. Her actions had an effect as the runes she altered activated, a seed which she had planted in the middle of the runes sprouted. She felt the energy being pulled from her being as the seedling arced up growing as tall as she was. Its bark was white as a birch, and its leaves gold and silver. The tree hummed with her power; the demon Umbra being banished as the runes which connected him to this world was destroyed. Aria would later find out that this tree had an odd effect; allowing her to be aware of the going ons within its general proximity. Aria would later make valuable items from branches from this tree given to her closest friends. Little did they know the trees power carried over to the gifts.
Tragedy struck as Creos offer was finally called upon; Aria just returning from the gorge came back to the Bloody Mary to find Creo and tell her of events that just took place. The site that waited her was horrifying. The Bloody Mary was drenched in blood, tables tipped, bodies littered the floors; it was a terrifying site. Panic set in as she tore upstairs to Creos room; her body being absent from the count gave her some hope. Changing her shape she used her heightened senses to get some clue; the smell of death and decay was setting in; but she recognized two scents. One being Creos, the other the librarian Bels. Along with a strange sweet smell that she was unable to place....but strange aside she knew Bel would have taken her dear friend to one place. Off she went in a panicked run; she arrived at Myles clinic to find Bel shocked beyond reason. His robes covered in her friend's blood. Only thing she could get from him was Zepon had paid a visit. Soon she learned Creo had been doused by a neurotoxin contained by Raul dust and then eaten by the demon...but she would live.
Aria returned to the Bloody Mary, the bodies had been cleared but the gore remained. Rolling up her sleeves Aria got to work erasing the nights marks. The project took her a few days to complete; and the guilt for being the spark of such an even ate away at her. She felt like she needed to do more and in an act of extreme stupidity of the highest caliber decided she was going to hunt down Zepon. What she had planned to do when she found him she hadn't a clue. She tracked the scent of death and decay to the white grove. She took to a tree and looked down at the god of death; choosing her wording carefully. She began to call him out when Sand made an appearance. Zepon called him Mylee's dog and Sand was revealed at Saden. Sand placed himself between the tree she was in and Zepon not taking the bait Zepon was giving him. Zepon quick as he was put a piece of a puzzle together; one which he was so very amused to find. He revealed to Aria that the person who stood below her was indeed her father; the news was shocking to Aria. Zepon seeing the shock made sure to rub the kept secret in like salt to an open wound. She was angry she had to find out via a person she held in such distain, but the situation was taking a turn for the worse. Zepon released a powder ; sweet smelling powder. Aria being higher up had time to wrap the sash she had been wearing around her nose and mouth, to avoid breathing in the fine powder. Angry as she was she dropped down worried for Sand whom had just breathed in the toxins and was being affected by them. Zepon approached and Aria sent up a wall of flames; putting her new training to use. Saden ordering her to close her eyes took his true form and with his instruction Aria increased the inferno around Zepon as he proceeded to banish the death god back to the outer forest. Zepon banished Aria turned to the person she now knew was her birth father....her father and A GOD....course the god part hadn't quite set in yet. Saden looked as though he was a dog that got kicked; Aria had to make a decision right there....to answer to the anger her abandonment left or to forgive and move on. Not wanting to lose the chance to know her father she accepted him for what he was with the simple question of "should I call you Daddy now?"
Things began to calm down and Aria made the decision to switch to working at the Mary full time. Creo was back although understandably shaken, and was ready to see the lighter side of life once more. Creo organized a Bloody Mary trek up to the springs. Decked out in there skimpy glory Aria was also dragged into the festivities. Seeing how her secret of being a girl was out it was time she started to learn the art of if you got it you flaunt it. Creo was sure to give the girl a crash course in that lesson. Dressing Aria up in a tight purple two piece then out into the open Aria felt more than exposed. When they got to the springs she instantly took to the trees, preferring to avoid public eye. One by one people she knew appeared, Garrett, Ratty, Bel, Roxy, and even Dante made their appearance. Creo threatening if Aria didn't get down there she would make her do something far worse than mingle. Dante seeing the cowering Aria was happy to oblige the older woman and quickly yanked her out of the tree and dumped her into the springs. Down and exposed Aria took her place next to the one person she knew wouldn't be staring at her. Thank the gods for twitchy female phobic males. Aria began to enjoy herself while observing an interesting development between her teacher Bel and Creo. The two made an interesting pair. During this Garrett took the time to kindly answer some of her questions, like how Ratty was associated with the thieves. He quietly filled her in on Ratty and his and Creos relationship. Apparently the site of Garrett talking to a girl without stuttering like mad was a site that shouldn't last long. Ratty took it upon himself to cause the most awkward moment in Arias history. With a well placed landing of a slippery rock launched, Garrett liquored up as he was lost his footing. Down came the one eyed King of Thieves his lips crashing against Aria, and a badly placed hand on her breast. All before Aria herself was knocked back into the springs; she came up sputtering her face as red as her hair face to face with the mortified Garrett. To make things even she tackled Garrett upon immediately afterwards asking for a bottle of whiskey....she needed a drink after that.
With things going from odd to awkward with Garrett Aria turned most of her focus to her studies. A welcomed distraction. She poured her studies into all sections of magic discovering her own unique gift for the subtle arts, creating listening spells, sound blockers, charms and such to prevent lock picking, even spells that would hide weapons by molding it to one’s skin. She got well enough to channel her magic to the natural flow of manna, to the point which even the gorge hound she had for a companion had trouble detecting it. While those tricks were certainly kept less noticeable by the fact she also put effort in studying the arcane and elemental arts. She worked on her fire magic, and fine-tuned her ability with plants. She also quickly got the hang of her own transformations.

When the war reached its peak her father being worried for her safety brought her to live in the glade of hero's. Aria continued her education under her father, along with furthering her control over her magical abilities. While not working on the magical or education aspect Aria was working on combat training with a certain special companion. She came back sporadically during the holidays to visit friends mainly because she hitched a ride with one of the old ones.

Aria actually has a talent for wood working; in the past she would make small carved animals for the emperor. She would also do any wood working repairs around the Mary. If she wanted to this could actually be a viable trade for Aria. She can do all this work by hand but she likes to enchant her work as well, that and she can make some super fancy stuff using her magic to shape the wood.

Her adventures suddenly took a change when she found herself pulled from her time and into the past…Below you can find a series of Journal entries she's kept since being fated over.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- Midwinter Day 1
Perhaps it wasn’t year 734, for me it was year 1722. It was midwinter and we had been back in the mortal world for some while. We had gathered, my family and I, to celebrate midwinter, little did I know this would be the last time I would see them as I knew them. If I had perhaps I would have stayed a little longer.
As I left I felt myself pulled through space and time; only to be dumped into a strange ornate room. It was average sized with ornate walls; the most noticeable thing was the view the window provided….A castle in which in my time was known to very few as a ruin deep beneath the empire built upon the land on top of it. A voice stirred me from my realization, and brought me for another shock. For I knew the face that stood by the fire place. It was the face of the very woman whom I had watched perish in the halls of that looming castle in the window.
She confirmed my fears as she stated I was now in Nova, ruled by King Noku Noru. A man who’s very body I buried in flower pots in my room when I was sixteen….I must admit in my shock I was not as eloquent as I could have been. I believe the words plant fertilizer and twisted titties was used. I also believe I threatened the ‘god of Destiny’ with a good paddling.
The situation changed as yet another male was fated; he was a blonde and unlike myself from a completely different world. Also unlike myself he seemed more than happy to be torn away from his family and immediately asked for money and something to do. I also had made the unsettling discover that my magic had been sealed off! Where a dagger should have been, at the sudden startle of a man appearing behind me, there was nothing! It was here that I learned that my magic had been sealed off.
Well Daddy taught me knowledge is power, with or without my magic I immediately wanted to gain any information I could. I asked what Fate was using to bring fated over and I was directed to a large crystal, which of course I had to go try to touch. I was immediately hit with visions, a hanging man, a tower, and a pair of vibrant green eyes. When I came to the woman whom was from my own past seem to crackle out and turned out to be a mere puppet…I suspect it wasn’t her at all.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar – The Beginnings
I’ve been here for a short while now, I was extremely pleased to find out a couple of my dear friends were fated over. Garrett has already made himself a nice niche here as the Captain of the Civilian guard. Man always did work fast. It seems he wants to try to start a new chapter of his life here; thus as his third I relieved him from his title as King of Thieves…Not sure if that’s how it was supposed to work but the title is now passed to me as I begin building this organization from the ground up. Core has been helpful in his instructions so perhaps I might make a half decent one. Rivers I was surprised to see as well; though apparently this hasn’t been is first world hop…so nice for him. However he has been a support as I make the transition to this world.
I did have the pleasure of meeting a woman from both Garret’s and Core’s past, however she was not fated. It would seem her personality is slightly different then how Core remembers her, but he instantly had warm feelings for the woman. Personally I find her a bit pushy, a bit obsessed with getting me to wear shoes, but for Cores sake I’ll see what I can learn of her.
There are more Norus in this time; I met and drugged a man by the name of Jeon Noru. He seemed nice enough even if he is a bit of an eavesdropper. We ran into each other in the temple and he injured himself; so I gave him some of the lunar potion I was carrying with me. I learned that giving something to a magic user that could possibly make them trip balls was not the wisest of decisions. I will note this for future use.
While I have been here I have been listening to opinions amongst the locals; it would seem the plant fertilizer is very much an adored King. Besides for the sudden influx of fated things seem peaceful here.
The plant fertilizer had an announcement put up in regards to a ball in celebration of Midwinter. It seems he’s opening the entire castle for one night for the general public. There is much excitement…Core insists I go. I admit I do not do well in large parties as something ALWAYS goes wrong. However Core has threatened to destroy my innocence with awful mental images. The man can be so pushy. Rivers has generously picked out a nice dress for me to wear to the ball; though he had to be persuaded from a gaudy form fitting red one….I really do prefer not to stick out as a sore thumb. Especially when in such close proximity to that man…
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar – The Plant Fertilizers ALLLIVEE!
As I said something always goes wrong! And right I was; things did go horribly wrong. I arrived at the ball dressed proper; I did my best to dress my rank and to blend in with the other lower class patrons. I admit I was highly nervous; jumpy even. I was disappointed to see that the Captain of the Civilian guard whose presence would have soothed my rattled nerves was not present. Instead made best with blending into the walls. Core spotted his main interest not long after we arrived. The woman by the name of Claire. Somehow we ended up dancing, Core for a moment while I was distracted took advantage of the situation and took control of the dance. Really I hate it when he does that, but it’s one of the adverse side effects to having a possessed sword spelled to mold with your skin. Embarrassed I broke off from the dance to disappear back into the crowd.
The party itself seemed to be going well, people mingled and they had fun. Both fated and native alike. It was a brilliant move to create good will among the masses, and so far I hadn’t seen hide nor hair of the plant fertilizer. I will admit I did have quite a few misgivings on what type of man this one was. After learning the many cruel acts he committed in my own time and growing up with stories of the twins, it was easy to mentally paint an image of a monster in one’s head. But the man didn’t have the same upbringing as he did in my time, and things certainly did seem more joyous.
I had skirted around the large tree, feeling a bit peckish when around the corner a man ran right into me. Wine went flying; and so did I as I fell back. I was sure to fall flat on my butt, my attempts to remain inconspicuous ruined. Instead of hitting the ground I found myself caught in the arms of the very man I was hoping not to run into! I admit to my great embarrassment the shock caused me to faint….me a woman who’s punched Zepon in the face, fainted at the sight of the king…I don’t think Core will let me live that one down.
Things had certainly changed for the worse, for when I came to it was chaos! The king had been attacked and the would be assassin was still in the room. Frankly as bad as it sounds I was relieved the party turned into a shit show because at least I was back in an element I knew how to react in. Ilta another fated woman seemed to have the situation well under control as she trapped the assassin with the very floor he was standing on. It was an impressive display. Melania the Kings advisor and the woman’s whose image I met when I arrived in this world appeared shortly after. During the chaos I took my leave and marked the night as a complete disaster.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- Champions Calling
Champions calling; such an event didn’t exist by the time I was born. The gods had gone into hiding and hid themselves from man…but here they have a tournament to which those fight in order to gain the title of champion of their chosen god. The whole idea of choosing one god to represent bothers me, but none the less I think I must participate. I do question though why fighting? Why is it a feat of strength that determines whether you are worthy to represent the god…shouldn’t it be the person who best represent the ideals? I find the championship a joke; the gods work in a balance…when it is off things go horribly wrong. Surely they know this as they did in my time yes?
Well I showed up and signed up to be my father’s champion, I only have one other opponent. Others have signed up to battle for the title of their chosen god or goddess. It was interesting to watch the others fight; and I was well prepared. However as I watched my opponent, Jeon Noru, approached me in good will. He was a kind man; I am ashamed to admit I did use that to my advantage. I went out on a limb to ask why he had chosen to participate, and then he asked me the same. I have him a pity story; I will spare the details but I ended up talking the man into forfeiting the fight. He did so however in order to give a newly fated girl a chance in this word. Really it was fairly kind of him; and fairly sneaky on me. Because of it I will try not to bug him as much….I believe we are even now for him running into me at the winters ball.
I was pronounced Sadens Champion; and admitted to the next round. It would seem the final fight would take place in a few weeks after the champions got use to their new role. Though that never came to pass due to later events.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar – The Blossom Festival
Vens is still just as bat shit insane as I remember; if you come across that woman you should run! Really…nothing quite strikes fear into your heart as that blonde woman coming up to you with a face that promises bad things. But let me explain why I had such a lovely encounter. A couple weeks prior at one of the temples there was a sign up. The blossom festival, Ai and Vennessa’s holiday is known for a time of love and passion….really there is a whole other holiday that ends up having to purify you from the fun that this holiday is supposed to have. Anyways there was a sign up list to sign up individuals for matchmaking for the festival. Knowing how my dearest friend Garrett feels about woman…I decided to be a little ass and signed his name….along with Rivers and Adrain as an afterthought. Wait now that I think about it would signing the Captain of the Guards name be a punishable offense? Well almost a year too late to realize that. Though who ever signed up Noku is in a worse spot then me because he also got signed up for this crazy event. Now I was pretty proud of my little joke, and had shown up on announcement day just to see the look on their faces…and also hear who got signed up.
Now at each Blossom Festival Ai and Vennessa bless the union of a couple on that day; those who signed up got that honor. Of course as you would have it the first words out of that damn woman’s mouth was Garrett’s and my name. I was dead for sure!...and who the hell signed my name on the list! Of course like any sane woman who knew the mans temper, I ran like a scared little bitch!
Course Vennessa caught me; and knocked me out. Not before telling me that my match with Garrett was meant to be. I came to with a sharp sting on my butt; Garrett had thwaped my ass with one of his daggers to wake me from my slumber….I tried to punch him in the face.
Unfortunately our date wasn’t as romantic as one would hope, as in that moment the King was attacked on his own date. He was injured and shockingly and most horrifying my date and I received the same wounds. I didn’t know it at that exact moment but I experienced the Noru curse for the first time that night; Garrett transformed, as did Core who resided in sword form in my back along with another. Despite the overwhelming set of emotions, my largest was I thought I was losing my dearest friend. I ended up restraining Garrett despite the now sharp pain in my head and the excruciating pain that came with a cursed soul transforming within yourself. To me the pain was little compared with the fear of losing Garrett….
I used my amulet my father gave me in hopes that it would help him gain some self control; and I begged him to stay with me. Something about my pleas got through the overwhelming nature of the curse; for my Garrett came back.
Later Core explained to me about the curse, and what must have happened.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- Meeting The King….Again!
Considering the curse was active and strong, I thought it might be time for me to start poking my nose into the castle scene. My original goal was to see a certain purple haired witch when I had wondered into the palace gardens. I did have admittance since I was champion, so it wasn’t like I was breaking any rules. Course I wasn’t dressed for any castle visit, my feet were bare, and my pants rolled up to my knees. So really I can understand the mistaken identity when I was suddenly grabbed by palace guards….none to gentle they were. Turns out I had wondered into close proximity to the king.
For a man who was the king he was certainly polite to someone whom appeared to be a commoner wandering his grounds. In fact his guards talk down to me more then he did. He seemed reasonable and nice enough. Even ordering the guards to release their hold on me. During our small chat he noticed a wound upon my head that mirrored his own….Impulsive he pressed his thumb to the cut on my head and I’m more then sure felt the twinge of pain of his own. At once he gave the orders I was to be removed from the castle grounds until the woman whom attacked him was executed.
Course I left but after the whole thing with the emperor in my time I didn’t trust to shits worth that I was ‘free’ to go. I was right to be cautious for not long after I found I had a trail of watchers. But a spy known is a better then one that you don’t. I played it safe and mostly stayed in the city and let them fallow me doing mundane things. I found the most boring medial jobs like weeding gardens, taking care of stalls, ect. I’m more then sure I bored quite a few of them. Every now and then I would make sure to loose them.
Course while I was running about I met a few interesting natives. One in particular was a young elf, timid, but she has an inquisitive mind and a small talent for healing. My acquaintance with her proved to be beneficial after I felt called to the moon temple to find a grievously injured angel cast from her goddess favor. I brought her to the young elf whom went above and beyond to save a woman she hadn’t ever met before, for a woman whom she just met. In the end it all worked out.
I also got to catch up with the man whom was fated over the same night as me. He seemed to be doing well for himself; he survived at least. But he was lost, unsure of his path within the world. My observations of this man told me that although he put up a large front was fairly insecure of his own worth. In my opinion he was looking for his self-worth in the wrong places; trying to see it through the eyes of the masses. I feel my advice to the boy unfortunately fell on deaf ears; in time he may figure out what I said himself, but until then he’s just going to fallow a hard path in life. Though I must admit he more then had talent when it came to inventing things; it was unfortunate he didn’t see the self worth in that… He showed me an impressive set of weaponry that he had made.
The weapon itself raised my concern; this man wasn’t inventing things to make his life easier…no this weapon was definitely for something bigger. He confided that the weapon indeed was built for a darker purpose, specifically to take out guards. At the time not one of us fated had been targeted…Claire had been captured yes but that was her own dumbass fault for attacking the King. But the weapon had to have been made prior to that. I admit that night Kail was added to my set of concerns.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- Proclamations
Words cannot begin to describe what a shit show this day turned out to be, Claire’s attack on Noku spearheaded a nobles vendetta against the fated. Seeing how the first assassin was fated, it was easy to assume the second one was as well…after all we fated are not particularly held with the fondest of views by the locals. Claire’s execution was announced by a nasty thing of a woman; she was working the crowd into a frenzy that was sure to break out into a mob at any moment….now mobs here are a dangerous thing. Often they lead to many pointless deaths; I hate mobbings….
It was announced that Claire would be executed and all those whom were in contact with her to be arrested. It wasn’t a hard leap for a mob to instantly suspect all fated…after all Claire was just deemed a fated woman. Even if she wasn’t. Lady Severine also had just given them an excuse to get rid of something that frightened them….and the crowd did not seem to be questioning it. As of late the fated people had an ugly face painted onto them by the actions of others. This was going to end badly, very badly unless something was done to cause the crowd to pause and question.
We were in a lose lose situation, the fated could run for their freedom and their lives and appear like the guilty party. Or they could be arrested and sent like lambs to the slaughter. The first option being for the lucky few who hadn’t gathered for this cursed announcement.
I knew in that moment that my decision was not going to be a pleasant one. But I still stand by that it had been the right one. Rivers I could trust to take action and get the others to a safe place; unfortunately my decision would be placing a great burden on him. One that he had expressed he hadn’t wanted. I stepped forward and declared I was involved with the woman sent to the chopping block. By now I was known as Sadens Champion; in fact I had lent my hand to many in the past months and I hoped my words would make them pause. I specified that I had indeed talked with the woman and that even my own interactions hadn’t been all too pleasant. I took a chance and hoped people would see that this was mad!
A fated girls word meant very little….and I admit I did something next that honestly I’m still waiting to be scolded for. I spoke with all the voices of the gods behind me and I spoke a warning…a warning to those who would persecute blindly. I finished by declaring my loyalty publicly for I knew all attention was on me in that moment.
It would seem my plan had worked; Rivers had gone above and beyond and had taken the cue to get everyone to safety; and the mob mentality had been stopped in its tracks for at least that moment. I can only hope I changed a few hearts that day….cause really being that dungeon sucked!
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- The Cage
Have I mentioned how much I despise cages….This was no exception. I was immediately carted off to a highly guarded anti magic cell and ooohhhh boy did they go overboard. I hadn’t even used any magic at the championships but after speaking in all of the gods voices I guess they were jumpy. Not once did I have just one guard, but several leading me to my cell and I knew more would posted at the doors. I had shackles on my wrists, ankles, and I was even chained to the fucking wall by my neck. They chaffed like a bitch to; it wasn’t long until I could feel them become slick with my blood. I admit I took some satisfaction in knowing my predicament was shared by another…I felt bad for Garrett, but the other….Well in this case I hoped it would paint a picture.
Now I don’t do well in cages, I hate them…and I knew Garrett wasn’t going to come see me while trapped in this hell hole…at least I hope he wouldn’t. The more distant he seemed from me the safer he would be. But I was hungry; being on the streets I had been rationing food like I had in my younger years….I hadn’t eaten in a day or so, and there was a snow ball’s chance in hell I would eat anything these guards would give me.
Soon the man I knew as Grumpy Guard came to see me in the cell; he tossed a piece of cheese into my cage and some bread, as hungry as I was I didn’t trust it not to be drugged. He started off with stating as far as he knew I was guilty of no crimes….yet here I was; chained up like I was going to burn the whole fucking kingdom to the ground. I admit I wasn’t the easiest person to question; I may or may not have been a wheeee bit difficult considering the situation. Oh I made sure to make my opinion on the over kill clear and his response was he commended his men with showing as much restraint with me as they did. I was being punished for potentially being able to kill them, though I hadn’t harmed a soul since being fated over…. I admit this is still a sore spot for me.
He figured out my spell which kept Core stuck in my back; along with my other weapons; the idjit wouldn’t remove the chains to allow me to remove it nooooo he had to do it. He botched it and almost that the sword solidify in my back. He did get it right; but it was not a pleasant experience. He gave me his word if I cooperated that he would return Core to me after the execution, and after some more questioning he left.
I was left to my own devices after that; still chained like a dog…nice thing was being in an antimagic cell, it doesn’t work on divine magic. I was still able to communicate with a select few. Rivers was pissed I had myself arrested; understandably so for my decision put a larger burden on him…I had faith that he would perform the duties he needed to do. He already knew my orders to not do anything that could be directly taken as rebellion from the king….it would go against what I was trying to accomplish by being in the godforsaken cage. Unfortunately things don’t always go according to plan.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- Hellfire
We were led in chains off to the gallows the next morning, myself with a few other fated that had been turned in…there were not as many of us as their could have been but it was a good number of people…I wondered if everyone here had contact with Claire… but seriously they must have thought me a monster for I think there was more chains then there was me. The pit in which Claire was to be executed in was large; and the sounds coming form it foreboding. I could sense beast down there…not normal ones…but ones that felt like the ones trapped in my basement back in my time. Things looked promising; or at least not as bleak. I mean after all they were going to just push her into a pit…
Frankly what happened next was I admit a little blurry for me; there was an explosion and all of morgg seemed to break loose. I could feel the beasts that were below suddenly break free. From my spot chained to the wall I watched panic unfold. People trampled people, men, women, children, didn’t matter which….in a panic or mob like setting the children were always trampled first…I had been one of the lucky ones that hadn’t been impaled by flying shards of caster’s sorrow. Smoke began to fill the air; as a fire spread throughout the hastily built amphitheater. I remember from my spot chained to the wall I could feel the wrong points below in the bit begin to move further away; the explosion had set whatever was down there loose.
To my horror during the chaos, Roxy an old friend of mine kicked Garrett into the pit; I remember tugging on my chains and not being able to get loose. Garrett thank the gods caught himself; but it was obvious he was a target. I had been contemplating on revealing my transformations worked in antimagic chains when a semi familiar bird alighted upon them and began to pick…I left that work to him as I contacted Roxy to tell Rivers to gather the healers I had tracked down since being fated. We were going to need all of them by the looks of this mess. The bird at this point had finished one chain; Claire having been freed finished the others and shoved a weapon in my hand. My main focus was not on the woman but to get to Garrett; and to get the flames under control…if they hit the wrong caster shard directly the whole lower city could have been blown to bits. I partially transformed and used my wings and body as a shield for Garrett; while I turned my attention to controlling the flames. Caster shards are dangerous, they either could cause manna corruption, or react in unpredictable ways. Only way to stabilize them is to concentrate a strong element of magical energy near it. I hoped to do that with the flames in order to minimize the long term damaging effects of the damn crystals.
It wasn’t long before I heard the tell tale whistling of a certain trigger happy fuck monkey’s weapon. If blondie hadn’t tested that weapon in front of me I’d probably would have been a goner. But it gave me a split second to react. I tried to slow it with a blast of fire and used my wing to shield both myself and Garrett as I was hit hard with the charged spike. I almost passed out from pain right then and there; I gave the orders to Rivers to get out…It’s around this time that things begin to get a little fuzzy…I vaguely remember Mylees champion showing up and taking over the fire which I had been slowly losing control over…and then an odd pull that I knew to be Rivers tunnels.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- I’M TRIPPIN BALLS
Rivers had ported me and Garrett to the tunnels under my cottage in the woods. I was losing blood fast but I knew I had supplies down in the tunnels. I led Garrett to the center of the tunnels and collapsed there. Garrett went on to remove the spike and pack the wound with lunar flowers and tried to keep me awake….I remember bits and pieces…I think I confessed my feelings for him….or was it the pink dragons that were floating around…and why did I hear that trigger happy fuck monkeys voice?....and was Garrett crying?
This Journal entry is short due to the fact my memories like shit at this point.
Year 734 of the Sun Calendar- Still Trippin, sort of…
Garrett had carried me back through the tunnels; just like a princess! Felt so giddy should have had a tiara. Anyways he was making his way through the forever forest, no small feet, especially with an injured me weighing him down and him being injured himself. Halfway out and we ran into Mr. Grumpy guard. I was relieved to see he had Core with him. So when he healed us, naturally I thought he had come to return it to me.
Apparently that wasn’t the case but I had absorbed Core back into my skin and they humored me by letting me keep in for the time being. I apparently drifted off, as I did so Core filled me in on some interesting details about Mr. Grumpy guard….and the suspicions I might be a Noru?

Aria actually has a talent for wood working; in the past she would make small carved animals for the emperor. She would also do any wood working repairs around the Mary. If she wanted to this could actually be a viable trade for Aria. She can do all this work by hand but she likes to enchant her work as well, that and she can make some super fancy stuff using her magic to shape the wood.
