But Kail must have the weapon drawn in the other hand. The magical properties were created through a new metal Kail had been working on called *Gem Steel.

Description:During the smelting prosess Kail added gem dust from spent elemental gemstones to regular steel. The ingots that later came from this had a prismatic sheen to them. As if they were crystal like material, and seemed to be a good conductor for magical energies. Either for defense or a offensive usage in arms and armor and is unknown if it can be used for tools for non combat purposes. Kail is still trying to test on that but is focused on making tools for battle then for peace. He is unsure if other smiths or metalergists have made this prosess at all.
