Both Sai and Serenity Caine would find themselves in a small boat in the middle of the water. There were two oars, one for each of them, to row back towards shore. However, the trip back to land would take them awhile. They would be forced to at least talk to each other. There would be a small basket of fruits and more red wine, but of lesser quality than the one given to them before.

Serenity stepped towards the woman on the bench, but once again found herself going nowhere, light headed and unable to see for a short moment. Once that cleared, she found she was on a boat.
Oh good heavens, please no. She was sitting on the back end, so when she faced forward, she was barely a foot away from the face of the woman who'd tried to leave. Serenity's anger flared.
Look what you've done! You went and pissed her off and now we're stuck on this boat! Serenity moved when she yelled, causing the boat to teeter and Serenity to freeze, really not wanting to fall out. She looked down and saw two oars, most likely, one was for her. This day just got worse. The water looked murky and disgusting, but the shore was within sight, just quite far off. That damn Goddess. Serenity let out and huff, and picked up one of her oars, lifting it out into the water. She couldn't believe she was stuck doing such a thing, at all, let alone with how nicely she'd dressed today, in her lavender floor length dress, white corset and embroidered lace. Her hair was up as per usual, cascading around her face in small curly locks of burgundy.
With effort she began to row, but it made no difference unless Sai did the same.

Sai thought too quickly as she felt herself being drug again, this time recovering much quicker she noticed that she was on a boat. In her opinion, it was better than the garden.
Her eyes turn to look at the woman, narrowing as she studies her face, after all if she was gonna be stuck on a boat she might as well have some fun. "Hey, now you didn't seem pleased at all about it either." She said as she flipped her hair, looking around at her surroundings.
Other than a small basket of fruits and some red wine there was nothing else but the oar. Honestly, she didn't want to leave this peaceful place, closing her eyes she listens to the breathing of the woman until the sounds of an oar striking the water brought her out.
Opening one eye slowly, she saw the woman, trying to row back to shore by herself. Finding it slightly amusing, she decided to have a snack if the woman wanted her help she would have to ask. Picking up one of the grapes popping it her mouth. "So you were expecting a prince based on how your dress. Seeing as how I am dress." She made little notice to her clothes, it was simple knee length boots that she got from a fated with an outfit that makes her almost look like a pirate in white and black. "I'm no prince or princess."
Closing her eyes she picked up another grape popping it in her mouth. After all it wasn't her fault they were now on this tiny boat together it was all the Goddess's fault since she place them on the boat, to be honest Sai would have liked a dungeon cell more over the boat.

I am the furthest thing from pleased with this whole situation, I can assure you. She was grumbling, giving up on rowing for the moment and simply holding the oar in the water. The woman was just eating in front of her, as thought this didn't bother her at all.
And yes, it certainly is clear that you are of no royalty, though it wasn't just obvious because of the rags you consider clothes. You're arrogance is much worse than that of a noble, that is for sure. Serenity's accent only added to the venom leaking in her voice, the rich London tone dripping off of every word. Of course, she doubted Sai would make such a connection- it was clear she was not from the same world as Serenity.

A small smirk grace Sai's lips for just a moment, it was clear the woman wasn't going to asking for help anytime soon. Deciding to make herself comfortable, she continue to eat the fruit enjoying time stuck out at sea.
"Why thank you father did raise me to be arrogance like a noble." The lie coming from her lips so easily. Lending forward looking at her, "Your accent is strange clearly your, not from this world." Reaching a hand out taking one of her small curly lock of burgundy in her hands.
"Your hair is like the colour of the sunset you know that dear." She said as if she was just commenting about the weather. She stayed the close distance to the woman, wondering what her next couse of action would be, after all she was starting to get intresting.

Serenity rolled her eyes, grabbing the bottle of wine. She didn't bother with a glass, simply popped the cork and took a swig. Normally, she wouldn't be so crude, but this woman made her angry, so she decided to not bother with her usual formalities and manners. She swallowed the wine, enjoying the bittersweet taste that lingered in her mouth, before answering the comment of her accent.
Clever deduction, you must feel so proud. No, I am not from this world, that is obvious. If my accent doesn't give it away, my mannerisms must. Serenity wasn't one to hide that she was Fated, she saw no reason to. She remembered being warned by a friend, that people don't like the Fated, but she decided she wouldn't play the helpless card. She wouldn't be the victim.
As the girl took ahold of her hair, Serenity flinched back, not liking how close the woman had gotten to her. She shook her head, and swatted at her arm, removing the hair from her grasp.
Excuse me! How dare you be so forward! You stay in your space, and I will stay in mine. She took another swig of wine, carefully watching the woman.

Sai laughed she rarely laugh since she started being trained to be an assassin. The girl was clearly feisty it just made her wonder why the Goddess paired them together now.
Throwing her hair back over her shoulder, "What space. It is clear that the Goddess wanted us together for a reason. Now you don't want to go upsetting her now do you." She said, with amusement in her voice. Keeping her hands to herself for the time being, after all, sooner or later they would have made they way back to shore.
"Would you liked me better if I was a man?" She asked already knowing the answer based on the girl's reaction. Yes, she now saw her as a girl, almost childlike in her eyes. "If you like I could become a man just for you." Sai winked at her, as she return to resting on her side of the boat.
An idea came to her mind, as she decided to mess with the woman a little. Studying her face a little more knowing that it wouldn't be a perfect copy just needing it to see almost like a perfect copy. Closing her eyes she let the image of the woman's face appear in her mind's eyes, feeling the familiar pull and stretch of her facial muscles, next hearing the bones cracking and shifting as she started to take on the facial features of the woman before her.
Feeling muscles and bones setting, she open her eyes smiling at the woman. She didn't change her hair colour or her ears since it would require much more time, than just changing the face. "Don't I look pretty now." She said as she undid her hair letting fall framing her face.

Ignoring her as she laughed, Serenity looked out at the water, thinking about how dirty it looked. This world was simply gross, and aside from the glimpse she'd gotten of the palace gardens, she'd seen nothing to prove her otherwise. Serenity barely heard the annoying woman as she spoke, deciding to tune her out for a few moments, to regain her sense of calm, and lose the anger that would otherwise make her kill the twit. She'd done it before, and she had almost no reason to stop her from doing it again. She could tell the girl was going on about nothing, something concerning the Goddess she'd already ticked off.
At the sound of a question, Serenity turned her eyes back to the woman, her mind registering the words. Would she like her better, if she were a man? Perhaps at first glance, but after a moment, she would be no different- annoying, arrogant, and plane rude. She rolled her eyes, not understanding the second comment enough to say a word, though the words were rather curious to her. She could become a man for Serenity? The girl must be mocking her.
Serenity took another sip of the wine, the bottle almost half gone now. She let it linger in her mouth, using its flavour to calm her nerves against Sai. She had glanced away, but at the horrid sound of cracking and breaking of something that could only be assumed to be bones, she looked back, her mouth dropping open and her eyes widening. What on earth was this woman!? Serenity used the hand that wasn't holding the bottle to cover her mouth, her brow furrowed in conferment and shock.
What on earth are you?! She leaned as far back as she could, not liking this at all, as the girls face finally stopped moving around. It took her a moment, not recognizing the face to be herself. The hair was different, as were the eyes, but once she saw it, it was unmistakable. The girl had taken her face.
You are absolutely insane! She jumped back more, realizing it was herself, and nearly fell out of the boat. Once more, she contemplated jumping and swimming. The boat on it's own, had begun to drift slightly towards the shore, so they were closer than when they started, but it would still be quite the swim, in such ugly, polluted waters. She sat back down, clenching the bottle tightly in her fist, taking yet another long swig. This was going to be one hell of a day.

The girl's reaction was priceless if she could somehow capture this moment. This just made it even more fun for her, it was clear the woman never met a shifter. "I'm an elf clearly but I am also a half shifter. I think you might call them shapeshifters." She said, as she was about to reach out and grab the woman's hand and pull her back into the boat, but decided against it, if she wanted to jump and get eaten by the monster that lives in the waters then so be it.
After all, if anything she could row home on her own, or just wait for the tide to send her back to shore. "You fated people are always so shocked by the shift." Tucking her hair back behind her ear.
"To call me insane, when I currently have your face is calling yourself insane my dear." She sighed wishing that she could do the full shifting, ut it would take too much out of her to remind like that for the remainder of the time with the woman. "You also shouldn't drink the whole bottle, we after all do have to row back to shore at some point. Unless you would rather swim in the waste." She said as she eyed the water, chances are the girl didn't know that this water was polluted for a reason not only because of the ores being mined but also the waste and everything else people get rid of end up in these waters.
"Now how about you relax and tell me about yourself. Just maybe if I am feeling up to it, I might make a request that you truly want happen." She said as her eyes continue to roam the waters, wondering how many bodies has been dumped in these, along with how long will take for the tide to change. "Just pretend you’re talking to a mirror."

She couldn't look in her eyes, it was to creepy. She settled back in, staring out to the water, stiff as a board. This was just mad. Everything she said was being thrown back at her, it would almost be better to remain silent, but she knew that wouldn't work out to well. Ignoring her comment about the wine, she took another sip. It would take more than this bottle to affect her to much, it would only ease her annoyance at this point.
She knew she shouldn't jump; it would be disgusting, wrong, she may even drown due to the pollution, and it would feel like an eternity getting back to the shore- but boy did she want to jump.
A mirror? Please, your murky eyes and matted hair make it clear you're not me. Serenity forced herself to looked at her face, through narrowed eyes, pursing her lips. She couldn't wait to get back home.
But if you insist on pestering me, talking may be the only thing to shut you up. She sighed, looking at the almost empty bottle of wine. She would have to savour her next few drinks if she wanted it to last much longer.
Clearly, I'm Fated. I'm from 1854 London England. My name is Serenity- I don't recall telling you that to be honest. She didn't know what to tell Sai. She wanted to avoid personal facts, but perhaps talking about Earth would work.
Where I'm from, is quite different than here. No magic- thankfully- and no freaks like yourself. Just regular people, in a government. Our biggest problem was politics, murderers, not dragons, beasts, demons, or the lion witch and the wardrobe. She shook her head, finding herself clever, but knowing the girl wouldn't get the words she said.

"Murky eyes you say, then you are clearly not seeing. My eyes are the colour of the sunset, as for my hair." She undid the ponytail letting her hair fall down in waves around her, as she brought it onto her lap to keep it out of the water. "It is the colour of starlight and not matted just long and easier to keep up." Sai just shrugged her shoulders, she didn't care too much about talking but it would bring some sound to the otherwise dead place. Plus if the woman was going to give her information then why stop her, after all, she made a living on getting information that she shouldn't.
"A world without magic. It must be rather dull, also a world without elves, orcs, demons, and even angels must be rather boring. To be honest, you should count yourself lucky to be in this world, who knows maybe you might become a princess here." She spoke as she let her fingers brush through her hair, as she took some in her hands and starting to braid it. She only recently started to braid her hair as a way to keep it out of her way, looking into the basket she notices a pear.
Reaching into her boot she took out the knife that she always carried with her. She eyed The Girl as a small smirk came to her lips, clearly it would seem like she might have plans to kill the girl. Then again, if she did want The Girl dead she would have done so a long time ago.

Serenity rolled her eyes. This girl was simply full of herself- though, so was she, but she'd never see it that way. Sai's personality ruined her looks for Serenity, regardless of how pretty she might seem- it made her wonder if people did the same about her.
Not dull for someone like me, who is from it, but I have no doubt anyone from here would find it dull- well. Except for the mass murderer running loose. I've been told by another Fated, that they never actually catch the man who killed hundreds in my world- it stays a mystery. Sure, no magic, but not so dull either. At least, not for those who get killed. She shrugged, remembering a time when she would hide in the shadows when walking alone at night- which a lady never should. She used to be so fearful. It now seemed so dumb, having gone through what she had- she'd never consider herself lucky, but at least she no longer feared the streets at night. She no longer resented being a woman.
Serenity looked up and she the gleam of a knife. She stiffened slightly, raising an eyebrow. Just who had the Goddess paired her with, an insane murderess? She eyed the dagger, becoming aware of the one hidden in her boot. She wouldn't take it out yet. If the woman had wanted her dead, why wait this long? Serenity sat still, and once again sipped the wine.
Well, I've spoken. How about helping me get back to shore? Her voice was tight, her accent becoming thicker and harder to understand, from forcing herself to remain calm.

Sai shrugged, still a world without magic did sound dull to her. A mass murderer now that was interesting, who knows if they were magic in that world then maybe the murderer would have been caught and hanged for their crimes.
Hearing the woman ask for help, she asked for help getting back to shore she eyed her. Did she think that she was going to kill her if she did she wouldn't have waited this long, heck pushing her over into the water would have been easier. Picking up the pear, she started to peel it with the knife before cutting it to half and handed the other half to The Girl. "Here you should eat. Your gonna need the energy for when we start rowing."
Taking her half, she proceeds to eat it, after having placed her knife back on her lap. The sweet juices were enough to give her a little energy plus it didn't help much that it did taste good. Picking up her oar, she placed it in the water since The Girl did ask she didn't see a reason not to offer her help.
"Ready to head back when you are. Also, if I did want to kill you, I would have done so before we got stuck out here on the boat." She stated as a matter of fact, since the hurry to come go back to shore seem to come out from seeing the knife.

She watched as Sai cut the pear, letting out a silent breath. She took it gratefully, and ate it. Once that was done, she finished off the wine, and tossed the bottle back into the basket before grabbing hold of her oar. She didn't think the woman would so easily help her but she was going to take advantage of it now- no second guessing. They began to row, still quite far from land, so there would still either be silence, or awkward conversations.
Forgive me for not assuming. As I said, there was a mass murderer roaming the streets when I left, I'm still a little cautious. There was slight sarcasm in her voice, but her tense ruddiness had definitely been dialled down.
So, why do you think the Goddess paired us together? She spoke, filling the silence.

"You're forgiven." Was all she had to say as she continued rowing. As she rowed she took notice that they wasn't too many boats docked in the harbour, the holiday season.
Sai attention was brought back to The Girl, honestly she didn't know why the Goddess paired them together. Other the two roses that were given to her and the blonde woman saying two flowers who have more in common most before she was drugged. "I guess, we have more in common than we know. At least that's what I understand when I was given the roses."
Looking at the sky it seems like there was still some time left, in the day. Maybe once they get back to shore, if The Girl was up for it, Sai could sneak her into the castle or something, if not then she would see if she could find someone and go for a drink. "Do you did the Goddess was right with this match?" She asked, deciding to keep the converation going.
