A distortion of mana ripples through the air and a rock emerges from thin air, followed soon after by Rivers and Serenity. He helps her to land properly as they hit the ground and he looks around making sure they were in the right place and that they were in no danger. When he was comfortable with this, he closes the 'tunnel' behind him and takes his dominant hand from his gun. Then he releases his hand from Serenity's waist and lets out a long breath.
His eyes glaze as if he is staring off into space. "Damn, the others aren't where I thought they'd be, I'll need to go check the castle soon." He murmurs before turning to Serenity.
They just outside the cabin, Rivers had temporarily set up a pair of tunnels that would move one into or out of the house before they could reach the knobs of the doors to prevent anyone from accidentally touching the Zepon poison.
"Alright ground rules, don't go into the basement there is a Basalisk there, there is a portal in front of the door that will let you into the house to prevent any unfortunate accidents related to the door and poisons. Do not wander too far away from this place without someone who knows what they are doing. There is a girl with long brown hair and the red headed guardswoman from the spring around here too so don't worry about them, they are allies, or at least not enemies." He instructs trying to think if there was anything he was missing, he would be back soon enough, hopefully, so that would probably be fine.
"Do you know where any of the other fated are? I am going to keep collecting them." He asks as he turns back towards where he had made the tunnel to get them here.

Serenity couldn't say she was exactly prepared for Rivers grabbing her and walking right through a portal, or whatever it was. In fact, it caught her completely by surprise- firstly how easily he seemed to grab her -once again forgetting this land had different mannerisms than her own-, and secondly, how quickly the portal trip was over, and he was releasing her. Her waist felt oddly warm, and Serenity moved to fix her hair - which was fine- and clear her throat.
She looked around, taking not, or trying to, of where they were. The house was cute, she'd give it that. Was this where the grand Mr. Rivers lived? Serenity hid a small smile. Looking back to him, she cocked an eyebrow in confusing at his first words, not knowing at all what he meant. His next words made a little more sense. She attempted to note down all the rules he set, in her mind. No basement. Don't leave without someone familiar to the surroundings. Don't touch the door handles...? She would save questions for later- the seriousness of the situations trumped whatever she had to say, and she knew that. She nodded her understanding, and he moved on.
To be completely honest, Sir, I really don't know many people yet. I've met Lady Aria, Mr. Lancaster, a few others vaguely, and yourself, but not enough to know if they're fated... I apologize. I wish I could be of more service to you. She wasn't faking how she felt, but she did leave out a name- but the bastard could die in this riot for all she cared.
However, I may be able to help with Mr. Lancaster. She suddenly remembered the instructions Kail had given her. Mr. Lancaster has a farm like home in the farmlands. He said he's most commonly found in the barn or the house itself, and that he doesn't live alone... would that help perhaps? She really hoped he would be home.

As Serenity explained the situation Rivers nods, though his expression tenses suddenly as his eyes come back into focus. "A new fated, now?!" He growls with a stressed expression on his face, "why am I getting involved?" He found himself asking before ignoring the question completely and preparing to head out.
"Alright, I will go check on Kail once I get the new fated out of that death trap of a temple," he says with a grim expression, this was getting bad he hadn't used his tunnels this often before and it was getting increasingly difficult to think clearly, but as the tension grew and he created another tunnel he found himself baring his teeth in a grin.
Then without a word he twisted, kisses Serenity hard on the lips before pulling away and grinning. "A kiss from a pretty lady for luck," and vanishing from sight through the tunnel.

Roxanne wasn't really sure what she'd find at the other end of that guy's 'tunnel' when he ushered her through. He gave her some brief instructions concerning a basilisk, poisons, and not wandering off. Oh, and to play nice. She rolled her eyes at the thought. There wasn't time to argue though, seeing as Rivers had been in quite a hurry so for now she had to trust him.
Stepping out of the 'tunnel' she had taken from the temple, the half demon found herself in the middle of what used to be a small village. There was only one small house left standing, everything else was in pieces: half rotten wood piled up showing where other buildings were and a destroyed fence. She stood still, listening and still taking in her surroundings including the human girl. "Excuse me, hello?" she called out, waving.

Serenity froze in surprise, not expecting to have his lips against her own. Her skin blossomed and she blinked rapidly as he turned and left with few words behind him. The thought was flattering, but that didn't change the unexpected air it held. Once he was gone she cleared her throat and combed out her hair with her fingers, coming into contact with only few tangles. Her eyes wandered around her, taking in more detail of where he'd brought her. It was quiet and quant, and upon closer inspection, rather beautiful, though torn.
She went over his notes in her head, making sure she didn't do anything wrong, or harmful as he'd advised. She faintly worried about Kail as she looked around, wondering if he'd be okay, and hoping he'd be home when River's arrived. She knew he could take care of himself, but that didn't stop her worries. Serenity decided she would go inside, but was stopped by the sound of a feminine voice behind her. She turned, squinting slightly to identify the person, but found herself drawing a blank to who she could be.
Hello? She took a hesitant step forward. Rivers had said there was other people around, or would be. It could only be assumed she was one of them. Serenity wanted to be as she always was, arrogant, confidant and judgmental, but she found that she couldn't quite muster it up just now. This was not the time, nor the situation. Nor, would it be wise to make more enemies right now- Rivers and Kail were her only friends, and she was beginning to think she would need more if she wanted to survive this.
Did Mr. Rivers bring you here? Her eyes focused better, and she found herself looking at another red head, not to different from her own, aside from shade and length. Serenity had to admit her beauty, though it would only be in her mind.

The half demon walked over to stand by the other woman, no point shouting across the village after all, leaving enough space so that neither felt uncomfortable. "Rivers? That depends. Is he a rough around the edges, deliberately dirty man with brown hair? If so, then yes. He showed up at the temple and ushered me here with little explanation and fewer manners. If all men here are so uncivilized, I might have to have a serious talk with Aria about dragging me here," she answered, her annoyance at the situation bleeding through.
Roxanne eyed the house again, noting it looked sturdy enough. "We should probably get inside where it's safer, all things considered," she suggested, making her way towards the portal set up for them to avoid the door. "We can have proper introductions there," she added before disappearing into the house.
I'm never going to get used to this, she thought as she quickly gained her footing after exiting the second portal. She took a moment to straighten her hair again as she looked around at the inside of the house. It was in much better condition inside than out, having been restored to a rather cozy little cabin. The floors were wooden, with a lovely hearth and cooking area. The kitchen had beautiful, stained glass windows and a bowl for bird seed. There was a table, covered in miscellaneous planning materials and a little loft. Roxanne smiled as she recognized Zepon's horn above the mantel, a tell tale sign that this wasn't just any cabin, along with the vine carvings on the wooden surfaces. This was Aria's home. Remind me next time I see her to compliment her on this, she thought, as she finally managed to take a deep breath since arriving.

A form suddenly flops out of thin air, Rivers appears covered in sweat and panting. "Alright, good to come through," he pants at the invisible distortion behind him. I am out of shape, He realizes as he gets back to his feet and grins, he'd gotten them. He hadn't been able to check on Ilta and Aria was in bad shape, but this was something, it was a group to work with.
And you're about to drag them into a new and complicated world. Rivers realizes as he looks around, once Kail comes through the gate, Rivers retrieves the pair, feeling a bit light headed, but glad to no longer be maintaining them. A black winged bird flaps down and lands on Rivers head and he smiles up at her.
The crow caws at him and Rivers begins to brush himself off. He walks over to a small wooden stall and emerges soon after, clean and with his wet hair matted back against his head. "The shower really is man's greatest invention he chuckles, beginning to regain his normal mood now that the immediate threat had passed. He was wearing a loose fitting white shirt that was slightly damp in places due to water traces left from the shower and his stout pants made him look much like a poet or writer.
"Well we can talk about the situation once everyone gathers, I'll be inside." He calls and walks inside, though stopping at the door for a moment to fix his posture.

Serenity followed her inside, agreeing it would be safer to do so. Yes, that does sound like him. She smiled faintly and tossed her hair over her shoulders. Walking through the portal didn't sit well with her, but she shook it off, and leaned against a wall, near their table. It was a cute little house, but it didn't seem like Rivers' style- but then again, what did she know?
Serenity was about to turn and question to woman again, but the dull sound of a voice outside stopped her, and she found herself looking at a sweaty Rivers instead, through the window of the house. She shut her mouth and her eyes followed him as he moved to the shower after a bird came through the portal with him. She blushed lightly at how they had left off, and let her eyes snap away from him, and back to the portal as another figure emerges.
Mr. Lancaster? So Rivers had been able to help him! She knew he couldn't hear her, as they were out side, but she felt a slight weight lift off of her shoulders and she grinned for a moment, before regaining her composure and dimming it down to a polite smile, clearing her throat and waiting for them to enter.
I wonder how many people Mr. Rivers intends to save today... It was more a thought for herself, but if she was being honest, she found it quite brave.

Out from the aether Kail steps out and he looked like he was ready for war as he had several bags with him. He was also decked out in some black hide leather armor. He goes through the door like Rivers did as he assumed it was just a illuision to a massive hideout. The blond was slightly disappointed but knew that Aria had to make do with what she had. He places his bags down in a corner with the weapons and equipment he brought with him. "Sorry if I did not give a reply Serenity, I had a lot to carry. He said and started to take the armor he had on, off as to get comfortable" he does see Rivers walk back in and looked like he had a shower. "I'll be the next one for the shower" he said and saw a new face that he did not see before. This made him raise an eyebrow slightly. "And you are miss" he asked Roxanne as he assumed that she was either a recent fated or in some kind of situation that was similar. Either way it looked like Kail was slightly tired, not as much as Rivers but he was close to it.

Roxanne turned as she heard the other woman mutter something and noticed her at the window. Apparently, Rivers had returned with whomever he had left to fetch. Her guess was confirmed a moment later as the man in question came in, along with a blonde. Her face smoothed over, emotionless as she took the two men in, until she was noticed. She smiled politely. "Oh yes, introductions still have yet to be made. I'm Roxanne D'Angelo," she said simply, "Whose company do I have the pleasure of sharing in this adventure?" she inquired.

Séanait had been out exploring the forest, looking for good avenues of retreat as well as for any enemies who might now be approaching. Rivers obviously thought that the cabin was safe - although Séanait had her doubts that it was safe to be inside it - but the Earl and his armies hadn't been able to conquer the Silver Isles by attacking their enemies where they felt weak or insecure. No, they'd sought out where the enemy felt safest and most confident and tried to find a way to attack them there. So far, though, she hadn't seen any signs of hostile activity.
She returned just as Kail and Rivers went through the portal that served as the front door. Kail was dressed in his armour and carrying a number of sacks which, Séanait hoped, might contain some of her armour and weapons. She was sure that she'd seen her bow among everything Kail had been carrying. So, she hurried towards the door, hopeful that she might be able to get her hands on some proper equipment.
Once through the portal, Séanait started at a new, very attractive woman and smiled pleasantly at her. She bowed as gallantly as she could and said, "I don't think I've had the pleasure of seeing you before. I'm Séanait, although most people just call me Shy."

Rivers walks into the cabin and looks around, he did not see Tres and shrugs, she must be out right now. "Alright, I think this is more or less everyone. We have another fighter and a healer, but they are not here at the moment and I do not know if we will be able to count on them for what comes next." Rivers explains as he sits down on a stool, grinning at the group and locking eyes with each.
"Like it or not, we've become outcasts, so let's try to get along." He closes his eyes for a moment and waits for Kail to get in before speaking again.
"So now that almost everyone is here let's have introductions, can you please share your name and capabilities, or at least preferred role? I would like to save a friend of Aria's named Claire and I need help doing it since I no longer have Aria for support." he explains and smiles at the group.
"Many of you know me, but my name is Rivers, my main capability is teleportation, I also have a firearm which is basically a stronger short range crossbow that makes a loud noise. I can also walk the wind, and I'm in charge of Aria's band until she gets back, an invitation which I am extending to all of you." He explains simply, no sense in being grandiose here.

Serenity shrugged her reply to Kail, trying to play it cool, despite the P.J's she and her appearance in general. She moved to introduce herself to The other red head, as well as to move closer to the blonde, but was stopped again as another woman joined them in the house. With a silent frustrated sigh, Serenity leaned back into the wall, blowing the hair from her face. There was no point introducing herself now, as Rivers emerged and started speaking to them, formally, yet not. He had a talent for that. Serenity doubted she'd ever see him act the way he did when he found her- and she knew he'd never tell anyone the way she acted either.
They were a sort of team now, the whole group of them, or so it seemed. Rivers called upon them not only to save them, but for their help. At request she spoke her name, finally able to introduce herself.
Serenity Cainem I- She cleared her throat, cutting herself off. What could she possibly have to offer in terms of helping them? Serenity looked down for a moment, before tossing her head back up. I can do whatever is required of me- or whatever is left once you all decide, I suppose. She didn't say that easily, and she locked eyes with Rivers as she spoke- her wall of confidence still stood, but her words were far from it. Admitting her lack of role or talent did not come easily to her. After a moment, she spared a glance towards Kail, wondering if he notice her falter- she rather doubted it, but what did she know?

Kail sees Shy coming in through the door "Shy I grabbed the majority of your equipment and its right over there" he said and pointed passed the last bag. Her armor and helmet were stacked nicely and her spear, bow, and her quiver of arrows. "If you need a shield you can borrow mine, I made a slight adjustment where you can stow a short sword or knife into it. If you need to alter it go on ahead, I'll fix it later" he said since right now. Beggers could not be choosers at this point with equipment after this. Since they were going to have to survive for awhile. The other redhead by the name of Roxanne had introduced herself. He gave a nod of his head and was about to say something until Rivers spoke up on introductions and there tallents. It seemed Serenity went first and it seemed a bit fitting that he should follow up. He did have to raise an eyebrow that Rivers had a gun. The blond figured that Rivers had a six shooter or some kind of revolver as it seemed to fit the man's style.
"I am Killian Lancaster, a jack of all trades in a sense. My main talent seems to be magitech items such as this weapon right here" he said and hefted the weapon up and it was a rather beastly weapon. The blond sets the weapon back down. "I know a bit of everything, a bit of hand to hand combat, sniping, a few spells and some trap making. Give me a bit of time and resources and I can make anything" he said and was trying to be at least modest with his tallents. None the less he would have to take River's offer as some bad shit was going down.

Roxanne couldn't help but grin as Rivers explained the situation. Not only was it very Aria to get into this sort of thing but she was itching for some action, seeing as the mercenary job she was supposed to be on was currently 1000 years in the future. She wasn't really comfortable with his request but it was reasonable considering the circumstances. She listened as everyone introduced themselves and gave short descriptions on what they were capable of doing. It didn't take her long to figure out who the most useful of them would be in a combat situation. She'd have to finish off her initial introduction as well and she worried for a moment about what they would think of her before remembering that she didn't care. Only Aria's opinion really mattered and she wasn't here.
She sighed as Killian finished up, making it her turn. "Well, I already gave you my name. As for abilities, well, I'm a half demon. I've been trained as a mercenary with blades of all sorts, preferring swords or scythes, but I'm not very good with hand to hand combat. My demon specialty is dealing with fire, starting it and controlling it," she finished, looking at the group.
