A rent in the air appears and Rivers steps through falling slightly as he had made the portal higher than the ground actually was. He stumbled a bit and then calls back through. "There is a drop when you step out, so be careful." He calls up to the group who was going to be following him through. Rivers looked around and was impressed by what he saw.
"Looks like Mel has been busy." He whistles as he looks around in surprise.
"Well this makes things a lot easier, if there is already a town all we had to do is get room and board." Rivers was carrying a rucksack on his back and his trademark brown coat was blowing softly in a wind that was not there.
He turns back towards the tunnel and waits for the others to follow him out, curious at what their reactions to the surprisingly beautiful city would be. This was going to be interesting.

A bag of Lia’s belongings get pushed through first. Afterwards, Lia hops down from the portal onto the ground below. She had honestly been expecting a ton of tents or something, not buildings and the small town that this was. It was the city, but it was more than livable. She gives a relieved smile. “This is surprisingly nice for a place not all too long ago… Just how many people were involved in this though and how did the crown not notice?”
She lifts up her bag and gets out of the way for the next person to get through the portal. “Considering this is a town specifically made for providing shelter to those on the run, I think we’ll probably be fine in terms of finding accommodations. We might not all be in the same though, which I’m fine with as long as I’m not with the obviously intoxicated individual that brought us here.”
Things were starting to look up it seemed. It helped that her expectations were fairly low to begin with though. “You’re the leader, I guess, so where to first?”

Kail had adjusted a lot of his bags and got re-equipped with all of his items and jumps through. He lands rather loudly due to the weight he was carrying with all of his items. The blond then looks around and was amazed at the natural wonder around him. "This...is rather unreal.....this defies everything I know" he said and adjusts himself a bit. The blond did want to go with Claire and Shy, but he would be rather useless. As he would need time to get himself armed and ready. As well as learn a lot more about the world, since he wanted to learn magic. Even then, Kail would have perfered to negotiate with king after kicking his ass. Killing him would have been a real problem as that would throw everything into chaos. But that bridge would come later, right now he needed rest and recover. As the last several hours were insane and overwhelming and needed some time to prosess it all for his mind. "I hope they have places for us....I am worn out and worn thin" he said taking a minute for a breather.

Serenity walked through after Kail, stumbling herself, despite the warning from Rivers. She had her bag with her, from when Rivers bought her to the cabin. However, she was still dressed in her nightwear as it was more practical than the dress packed in her bag. Blinking she took in the area surrounding them- it was stunning. It took a moment, to take it all in, but when she did, there wasn't much to say. She looked at the group before her, and Lia was right, Rivers did seem to be the leader. It seemed like a natural role for a guy like him. Serenity put the strap of her bag over her shoulder, adjusting it so it was comfortable. She had been surprised that Kail had joined them, but not opposed. Though her anger had not died completely, she was far from hating the blonde male, and she was rather pleased he came along, not that she would admit it.
Looking to Rivers, she smiled calmly. I believe Miss Lia is correct- you rather are our leader now. Lead the way. Her calm smile sparked a small grin, lasting only a fleeting second as she gestured out before them with her arm. She was worn out and looked so, but none the less looked beautiful as she always did. Her autumn coloured hair was down and curled, though frizzed. She was in need of a bath, but for once, hadn't paid any mind to her appearance- not yet at least.

Roxanne had gathered all her things back into her bag, including her clothes still soiled from the rescue, Leaving her still in the sexy black evening gown. She was the last to come through the portal, stepping gracefully despite the drop. She stood with te others to take in their new home. Looking around at the new city, she couldn't help but be impressed. She also nodded in agreement with Lia. "I don't want to bunk with him either but I'm not opposed to sharing in general," she added,
As everyone stated that Rivers was the leader, Roxanne turned her attention to him. She looked him over for a minute before motioning that he should proceed and they would follow.

Rivers looks at the ragtag band that had followed him through and were now calling him leader. Some of the other Fated from the gallows had also followed him, and he found himself at a bit of a loss. Well you're here, how the hell do you lead? Rivers found himself wondering, Aria always made it look so easy. Though in response to their expectations he puts on a smile and heads towards one of the larger looking building with a audible clinking coming from the rucksack on his back.
"Well I suppose first things first let's go get some lodging. I am going to see if I can purchase one of the larger houses as a base of operations, and generally as a home. Anyone who would like a place to stay is free to stay with me." He offers as he walks.
"I'll also talk with Mysteria, the person in charge here to get a place to stay for anyone else who just wants to stay here." He offers, "Then...well I think I deserve a trip to wash off in the hot springs, anyone care to come along?"

Serenity started walking as he did, off to the left side of him, just a bit behind. She heard his words, and despite herself smiled for a moment. He planned on buying a place for them all to stay if they wanted to? For some reason she found that almost admirable. At the mention of taking a bath, her attention immediately went to her appearnce, and as they walked she glanced down at herself, noting her knotted hair and dusty skin.
A trip to the springs would be wondrous, I must admit. Her voice came out like a sigh, her mind going to the thoughts of bathing and how comforting it would be. She didn't even think of that fact that it was public, and the last time she'd been to the springs with people-- well that hadn't started off too well. Though Rivers had been there for that, too. Her decision was made, she simply needed to bathe.

Kail was not inclined to call Rivers, the leader in all of this. Right now he viewed this as the best corse of action for himself, by going with Rivers. As to him Claire and Shy were on a suicidal mission but they were right on confronting the king. What he was doing was way out of line and was eventually going to cause more harm then good. He would rather prefer building up resources and then make one massive attack on Nova. To hit hard and fast before they could react, but even then he needed to learn more on Nova. This was on the matters of magic and alchemy as these mystical arts would help him in this world. He then hears a wisper in his ear and did not see who it was. This voice told him that there was a place for him. "I'm going to look for my own place, I might join later but for right now. I need my own space" he said and walked ahead into the underground city. Wondering where this voice would lead him to. Kail had some things to thing over and needed his own space. A place where he could call home for now.

Lia looks at Rivers’ curiously, “You’re going to buy a house outright that is big enough to fit all of us? That seems like it would be pricey, but I’m not going to turn down a free room right now. Thank you.” After all, where else would she stay around here? It’s not like she knew this city at all. Besides, it was nice to not be alone right now.
After a stressful trip to the middle of the forest, a trip the hot springs sounded nice. It felt like a somewhat normal event in an otherwise strange couple of days. “I’ll go too. Do you think there is one here or are we headed to the Crystal Springs?” She looks back at the town, "But could we pick up a few things first? A towel is not one of the things that I remembered to bring."

Roxanne followed slightly behind the group as they made their way into the city. Her eyebrows rose as River's mentioned buying a house big enough for all of them. "I could use a room, if you're sure about that offer. I'd be in your debt, of course," she says politely. As he mentions a hot springs, she perks up. "That would be wonderful! I will certainly be joining you for that. I need to clean my clothes as well," she answers, not bothering to keep the smile from her face at the thought. After everything that had happened, a hot spring dip was just the thing to help work out some kinks and relax her a bit.

(( Coming in a wheeee bit late, but decided to have Mysteria welcome the new arrivals. haha ))
A gust of wind tickled at the parties feet, a un-natural wind that raced through out the town's neatly stone cobble streets. Once everyone moved further into the center of the settlement; Carved into the walls of the slowly darkening Cavern that was lit up by the quarts collecting the sun from up above. Huge veins embedded in the solid rock ceiling. The sun up above, had finally smothered past the horizon line, blanketing the earth in the blackness of night. However, with the light gone from up above. The CS shards that hailed from the Manna Gorge and the shards that were buried past the hidden safe barrier began to glow a faint red hue. The effect causing the stones to sparkle like an endless galaxy.
Even the cobbled streets were lighting up with brightly colored teal, purple, and green speckles. The underground settlement brought to life within the darkness, by illuminating itself with gems and crystal spires made to it easier to see the buildings and building signs. High above in the center of the town; A familiar crystal that once floated within the Moon Temple could be seen slowly spinning around. An from from the road that lead to the center of this town, A humanoid woman figure approached the newly arriving group.
Mysteria approached the group with caution at first, until her eyes fell upon Rivers. Unlike all her previous encounters with these fated, this was the first time she wasn't in dark, covering robes. She was in a cream hued embroidered gown, sense her previous clothes were vaporized back at the Moon Temple. Plus, she hadn't fully recovered from the transformation. Her skin patched with violet-teal scales on her shoulders, cheeks, and spine. Her right hand completely darkened to a chard hue, which was poorly hidden under the cream color loose arm-sleeves on each arm. Brown S shape horns curled back with her skull, the tips curling skywards. Her long lavender hair in a messy and down state, which made it cascade around her frame carelessly like a vale.
" You've come early, Welcome to Gallow's Bane. " she called out, stopping in the middle of the street.
