It was later in the evening, storm clouds had rolled in around noon and now were unleashing their fury. Most everyone had retired already for the evening; only a few late birds were up during this time of the night. Aria had donned on an oil skinned cloak over a black tunic and breeches, along with her black oiled boots. She stayed on castle grounds but headed down to the beach where the waves crashed angrily along the shore. Already the wind had ripped the cloak which she clutched around her from her hands; making it next to useless in the rain…she was already soaked. Water cascaded down in large spouts off of the cliffs edge, where the castle rested above. It had been an interesting and slippery trek down to the shore….it would be a chore to climb back up.
Aria had the chakrams hidden and tattooed on her skin, hidden underneath her tunic. Her daggers and staff were also hidden in the same manner. However she did make sure to have a couple of her daggers hanging from her waist. She had kept to the rock wall, her dark clothes blending her into the scenery quite well…tonight was one of those nights she needed no invisibility to move unseen. She could have walked in the open and none would have seen the small moving form through the thick sheets of rain…one could even barely see a few feet a head of them; never mind down a whole cliff side. But safe rather than sorry she had kept to the shadows.
Aria’s teeth chattered, this was no warm summer rain, but ice cold that numbed you to the bone. Her bright blue green eyes looked out to the ocean and out. She took a deep breath, removing her oiled cloak, it was doing her no good right now; and tucked it away under a rock where it would be kept safe from the harsh winds and waves. She inched out along the rocks, and wedged herself between them, the ocean swelled up to her waist as it passed her. She was no fool to venture out further in rough seas. She had originally hoped to avoid this meeting, however do to the recent circumstances…she would need to take a risk tonight…and tonight was the perfect night to call on him. Storms; they were life bringers….the rain the life blood of the world, lighting struck trees and started fires which fertilized the ground; storms were like Mylee himself…and the ocean, another life bringer, so many life forms depended on nutrients of the sea. While the moon temple could have been a place to go, the spot which she wedged herself now…seemed much more appropriate. Though she didn’t know if this would work or not….but she had no other way to call him…wasn’t like he had his healers shop where she could drop in on him.
”Mylee; do you mind inviting a poor girl over for a chat before she freezes herself enough to go visit your brother?”
She talked out into the wind; seeing that she had god blood in her…it seemed up his alley to hopefully be able to hear her. She knew he could port family.
