APPEARANCE: Gelen is far from being lady like or dressing like one. In fact, she seems to be more at home wearing baggy clothes or outfits that would be normally mistaken for what a guy would wear. With her tomboyish charms; Gelen can hold a natural appearance of some feminine beauty. That is if she ever get her to wear a dress or some make up.

With beauty aside, Gelen stands at a impressive 6'1" and has the body built of a toned out, flat chested pole. Matted up and almost wildly choppy raven black hair rests at her round jawline just past her ears. The color of her eyes gray and her skin tone the color of sun scorched olive.


PERSONALITY: If exploring the wilderness or killing a dragon is what's on the list of things to do, bet your ass that Gelen will be the first to sign up!! However, ask her to go to a party or banquet in a fancy dress around a large crowd and someone might loose an eye. Not that she is violent, just not so graceful and very awkward when trying to "make" friends. Now past all the social awkwardness and tough 'manly', over protective approach; Gelen is a warm soul that is often misunderstood. Growing up around all men, Gelen had to grow up fast. Though she is a woman, Gelen believes in her heart that she must be just as strong and tough as a man emotionally and physically.

So pissing her off isn't a smart idea sense she can be rather vindictive and hold a grudge. However, a quick apology and all is forgiven. That is unless you've gone past the point of being forgiven. Also Gelen is a tad bit raciest towards all other races besides humans. Not that she HATES any other race; she just believes that humans are the ruling and rightful heirs to the land of Teair.

BIOGRAPHY:
Gelen was born in the kingdom of Kanto during the autumn month after the harvest festival. She is the 3rd daughter and the 8th child to the House of Hellgar; Her father, the head of the house, Talos Hellgar, held the proud title of Kanto's Royal Guard Captain to the Kingdom's King. Her mother, Breace Hellgar stayed at home tending to the house and the odds in ends of raising children such as Gelen and her two older siblings that were not yet old enough to move out, Kaluth and Roth.

The rest of Gelen's siblings followed in their father's foots steps by choosing the career path of the guard; A life of living within the barracks away from home for weeks to months at best. This left Gelen in the care of her two other brothers and mother for the majority of her childhood. The importance of education given more to her brothers than to her, however that did not stop her from learning from afar. The only thing that seemed to be shared equally among the siblings knowledge and learning wise was the way of the blade. With each afternoon ending with a hour's worth of training with her father and siblings before going in to eat. That was until word reached Kanto that the King of Nova had been murdered and his son, Prince Noku Noru was quickly placed on the throne soon after. 

A smart move to the monarch family; however, the change in Nova had nearly cost Kanto in resources and trade. Gold being the first thing to change during the new rise in power of Nova's king, affecting trade to all kingdoms that lived within Nova's border. Which brought Kanto into poverty for a few years... This lead to riots and fights among the civilians. Gelen was 15 when the first largest riot in kanto's history started within the main street. The riot didn't lasted for a few hours, only to be dissolved within a matter of minutes after the kingdom's guard arrived. The kingdoms first blood bath in over 100 years which came at a heavy cost to both civilian and soldiers alike. 

The Riot had claimed her Father and three of her brothers that day. This devastated her mother Breace an she refused to accept  their un-timely death often blaming the gods and kingdom for not protecting her husband and children. However, her father's and brother's death did not sway Gelen's mind away from the idea of being a warrior like the proud Hellgar women before her. Once of age, Gelen left home and joined up with the guard. Despite her mother's many pleas to try and talk her out of it... Though stubbornness seems to run on one side of the family sense in a matter of months Gelen was on her way to being a Royal Guard.

Years would pass and Gelen has grown to a fine..... Woman. Her time mostly in service to the Kingdom spending what little existence she has in the training court yards of the barracks. Nothing to go wrong other than the thief or troublemaker now and then. Life was good, until the Fated began showing up in the trade stocks and city. The strange people causing concern to most and even more concern in the capital kingdom of Nova and it's King. With the events going on in Nova, Kanto decided it was best to 'give' the Kingdom of Nova some much needed support. Thus Gelen and 24 other men and women were transferred to Nova within the fallowing weeks. It would be the first day of Winter when Gelen and the rest of Kanto's guards would arrive to Nova's barracks. A place much different from Kanto, but a beginning none the less to her new life within the world and kingdom Of Nova.

SPELLS:

Ability One: Material identification - The ability to handle any one handed weapon that Gelen picks up. However, if it is a weapon not from Nova identification can be a longer process and not so accurate. Weapons that are not from Nova Gelen will have a much longer time trying to figure out or work with. That if it's not a sword or long blade of any kind.

Spell One: Conjure weapon - Gelen can conjure only ONE one-handed weapon at a time. Each weapon is made of compressed stable (safe) manna crystals that is formed from concentration and how much manna the caster has stored or collected within two feet. The weapon can only last a duration of (4 post rounds ) a few minutes.

COMBAT:  Trained in sword fighting Gelen is pretty skilled with a blade. She is also trained in hand to hand combat, but chooses not to do so sense she believes swords are better communicators than fist.
