"I don't wish to cause a time paradox even if I want to prevent the event from ever happening in the first place. It wouldn't matter much either since I would have knowledge of the event who is to say that it wouldn't change my own world timeline because I prevent something that was meant to happen." Her eyes downcast, knowing that what she said could very well be true. That maybe the energy ball was meant to go astray and towards them and her sister was going to survive it and she was meant to be pulled to Nova at that time. If anything she had a feeling that if there was to way to return to her own world it would be after the events of what happened to prevent the future from changing.
Nyx turned her eyes to the ceiling, wondering if her father already saw this all happening, what her life in this world was going to be like, even the point of time that she was to return to their own world. Even if he did know she knew that he wouldn't have told her since it would just make her want to change the timeline and quicken her own return before it was time.
Nyx laughed remembering her own encounter with Kail and a few fated that she was able to meet. "Yes the worlds are all different, but I am sure they all have one thing in common. Be it my world, this one or another is that they all have a Deity or many." Laughing once again as she imagined Adrain in the clothes of her world trying to blend in and while learning skills of that world. Seeing him in jeans with t-shirt and runners or even in a suit made her laugh even more. "Sorry I didn't mean to laugh just when you said you would like to go see the other worlds and learn from them, I couldn't help but imagine you in the clothes of my world. I think some of it would look charming while others would look ridiculous. If you want I can tell you what I remember of my journey over here from the feel of the magic to what everything looked like if it would help you." The last part said much sincerity.
Thinking of the different options that she said, her own staff had been created to match her own magical signature and allowing her to infuse it with her mana and little of her own life blood. A new staff would require her to do the same over once again but with everything, she would need someone to train her or just keep practicing till she got it right. The idea of her current staff being modified did strike a little terror in her heart, which was reflected in the staff as it the heart seems to move rapidly before it slowed down once again. Weighing all the options she finally decided which would be the best course of action. "The modification would be the best in my own opinion."
She smiled as she listened to how enrollment when for the Arch. It was a great system she had to admit this way no one would feel like they were cheated out on learning magic and everyone who truly wished to learn it was given the ability and chance. Not that she was going to ever tell her family it was the best thing she heard cause some of the protectors didn't even want the job which is why many fail in the year their desired to secure a job within the section their prefer and not having to risk their lives in a job that no one had retired from.
Closing her eyes she thought about maybe truly enrolling in the Arch as a student, she knew that she would be able to easily pass the entrance exam at least the execution part the knowledge part would be harder since magic in this world was different from her world and her magic was limited to her having to channel through an object. Pushing that thought out of her mind, wondering if maybe her knowledge on the basic of blood magic would be enough for her to pass the entrance exam and secure a position as a student.
Her eyes only opened when she felt the heat on her skin, turning her head she was Adrain standing with his hands above her wings as the feathers started to regrow. It reminded her of visiting the nurse who specialized in healing magic and would help heal the various cuts and bruises that one would get in training. Deciding to keep an eye on her feathers, as she watched them carefully as she saw them start to curve outwards from her back, giving the wings a little flutter to spread them to make sure they did regrow properly.
"Thank you for helping me... uh..." Finally noticing that she never asked him for his name and she never provided her either. Covering her mouth to hide the light laugh thinking of it that she allowed a complete stranger to help her while she was hurt. If she was back home it could have caused her life. "We are both quite silly people. You brought me to the Arch without learning my name and I allowed you to help me heal without learning yours. I do guess now is a better time than any." Clearing her throat, "My name is Nyx North, Guardian of Laven and sadly only half angelic."

"Of course...if there is a threat, I can step through first and handle it somehow or another then opening the way for you to join once your other self disappears. I certainly wouldn't want your sister to come to harm." he says with a confident smile. "If there is anything I can do about it, I will, trust me." the mage says trying to put Nyx at ease.
As Nyx laughed, Adrain raised a brow and poked her back briefly. "Oh what's so funny?" he interjects before being told the answer. He chuckles softly before speaking once more. "Well, I'm sure you could say the same thing about clothing from here, perhaps it can improve my style level. What do you think would look good on me, mm?" he says then nodding at Nyx's offer to detail her world.
"I would like to hear if you don't mind sharing, yeah." he replies calmly.
Adrain noted that Nyx was deep in thought for a time and used the gap to work on her wings. When she said she would want a modification, he nodded. "Alright, I will work on getting that set up for you, if you have a style preference I'll accommodate. An angelic motif perhaps?"
During the tail end of the healing process, Adrain was silent since a lot of focus was required to balance out the way everything was growing. The flutter threw him off slightly, but he knew it was her wings and he just had to adjust on the fly to it.
As Nyx pointed out that they never introduced themselves properly, Adrain blinks and has a slightly dumbfounded look on his face. He puts his right hand to his forehead and then chuckles, openly laughing for a moment.
"Oh, wow! I am so sorry about that, I can't believe I got that caught up in things I forgot that one nicety." he says, taking a moment to calm himself.
"And I am Adrain Kaiaru, Headmaster of the Arch of Ages, it is glad to finally meet you" he says, having a little cheekiness to the end to make fun of himself to forget the introduction earlier. As Nyx seemed ready, he takes a step back.
"Well with all that done, would you like some food or do you want to go to the Alternate Reality Chamber? Or would you like something else?" he says, then pausing and realizing once more her outfit might gain her attention of the sort she might not appreciate.
"I can find you some garments if you wish to cover up your lovely body a bit before you get undue attention." he says, trying to flatter the woman a little and also addressing the concern. That said, the mage didn't still know she had her untransformed state clothing.

Nyx nodded her head knowing that the sudden appearance of Adrain in her world could cause two things either one everyone would be terrified at the sight of him or be overjoyed at the sight of another guardian. Thinking on it, they might go with the latter since he could be protecting an innocent from harm and she would defend him once herself from this world appears.
"Well, the clothes from this is not too strange just different. I do know that I will have to wear the clothes of this world at some point." Placing her index finger on her lips as she thought about what he would look the best in. If she was honest a three piece suit would bring out his features well and make many females and some males flock to him. "What do you think of a three piece, I thinking a dark gray jacket with matching pants and a vest. On the jacket lovely silver cufflinks, of course under you will have a white cotton button up shirt, with a black tie. Maybe a rose or a handkerchief in the breast pocket, to top off the look formal penny loafers. Of course, this is a more formal look. I'm sure if you wore something like that in this world your girlfriend wouldn't be able to keep her hands off you." Raising her eyebrows as she said the next part. "Or is it a boyfriend." A little teasing cause she didn't believe Adrain had a boyfriend but the more she thought about it the easier it was for her to see him in a loving embrace with another man, sometimes a little shorter than him. Oh, now she did want to see that happen.
Her trip to this world most of it flashed through her mind. Calming her breathing as she slowed down the images and sounds. "This is what I remembered, as the energy ball was heading to Tara and myself another energy ball almost transparent was coming to use from my left. It slowly started to grow in size until it surrounded me, it didn't feel hostile only friendly so I cling to it as I tried to reach for my sister. Sadly the light wouldn't allow me. Next, it started to brighten in a burning sun kind of way become white." Pausing for a moment as she felt some of the memory slipping away almost as if someone did not want her to remember just yet. Quickly trying to grab on to it only to feel some details slipping through her fingers. Placing her hand on her head feeling a headache coming on. "I feel like someone doesn't want me to remember all the details yet, but I think I heard a voice I can't tell you what the voice said sadly. Then the next thing I remember was I appearing in this world the light placing me on the ground."
"No true preferences on the modifications as long as the staff still recognize me it's all good. An angel modification huh, I think that would fit perfectly with what I am."
Once her feathers were fully grown, she tossed her legs off the bed. Doing the basic test to make sure that everything was good for the time being, first a small flutter of the wings, then a simple hover and finally a small spiral flight. Other than her feeling that her wings were a bit weaker but that was to be expected after all since she did just get them regrown nothing seemed out of the normal.
Once her feet were on the ground once again she smiled at Adrain. "Well, it is nice to finally meet you Adrain-san." She said feeling that it was alright for her to slip in some words from her native tongue. After all even if she was stuck in this world she did want to use words from her mother tongue when she can.
"I believe food would be a wise decision at this point if you agree. Then we could visit the Alternate Reality Chamber."
Looking down at her outfit she did realize that he did have a point it would draw unneeded attention to her. Grabbing her staff she closed her eyes even if it wasn't needed and pulled the strings of her magic letting a mana pool around her into a bright light ending her transformation as quickly as the light had appeared.
Now she would be standing in her winter cloak colored brown. Shrugging off the cloak folding it over her left arm she would reveal her outfit under a black halter top with straps that goes around her neck with her matching pink pleated mini skirt. To complete the look were her long white knee length stockings with her black heeled boots. "Would this draw less attention?" She asked knowing that she was still showing much skin but not as much as before. "If anyone asked I could claim to be your sister visiting from a faraway land." She couldn't help but laugh at the last part since she wasn't sure who would believe that they were related other than the hair color nothing about them seem similar.

"I suppose that would look good, I admit I am not fully certain on the mental image I should have but I can figure it out and maybe get something similar made." he says with a small chuckle before Nyx mentioned 'or boyfriend'. A bubble of sweat went down the side of his head, he knew that same gender relationships were a thing, but Adrain wasn't of that classification. Well, Yuki sort of used to be a male but then turned female in every sense of the word...
That's complicated. Yuki is a woman as far as Adrain is concerned.
"I uh...very much like women, but I don't have a girlfriend as of the moment." he says, then hoping that Nyx will put that behind her. If Iris knew about this exchange she might get a chuckle out of it. He might tell her later.
The mage listened to Nyx intently as she described what happened when she was fated over. He took the words of the woman to heart, trying to make sense of it. It sounded vague and somewhat obscured.
"Perhaps...you were pulled precisely at that moment knowing that would be hanging over your head and motivating you to do something here to return. As I said, if a way back comes we can hopefully manipulate the time to our favor to prevent harm from coming to Tara, so as hard as it may be, release the stress and frustration of not being able to do anything right now. Even if you spend a hundred years here, when you go back you can be re-inserted right in the moment, or myself I suppose if I am to go ahead of you to prevent a paradox. Focus on what you can do now to help yourself and grow."
When Nyx made a mention to the type of modification, he nodded. "Very well then, I'll get started on that when I have some free-time, I think I have just the ideal design in mind. he says, then watching Nyx get used to her wings. The treatment seemed to work as well as it could, which Adrain was sort of impressed with himself about since he has never been much of a proper healer, he just improvised with the tools he could use.
"I'm glad your flight can work this quickly, it means you'll recover just fine." he says, when she mentions its nice to meet him, he raises his brow. "It's great to meet you too Nyx, but what does the 'san' mean you just said?" Adrain states, not familiar with the honorifics.
Adrain was about to mention something else but the Nyx detransformed into her casual clothes, causing the mage to blink a few times. "Oh...I see, I didn't know you had that alternative state. I suppose it's a little less attention grabbing than your boobs hanging half out from mana constructed armor that a mischievous adolescent mage might be able to disrupt showing your nips to the world." he says, having another experience come to mind from a few years ago.
When Nyx mentions to say that she's his sister, he chuckles. "Sure why not, but you don't really need to justify yourself to anyone here. Anyway, lets go get some food, yeah?" Adrain says, walking out of the Infirmary, walking down the halls and making a right, left, then right turn entering a larger open area. He enters what appears to be a shaft with green, plant-like pods in it waiting for Nyx to get in and gesturing for her to sit. Once she does so, he presses a small crystal button on the pod, as it launches up quite quickly, probably making Nyx panic for a few seconds before it stops at a higher level. When the door opens, Adrain leaves after Nyx gets off and shows her down to a gold and black door, touching it and using a spell to unlock the door.
Within would be a fairly stylish living quarters which could only be assumed to be Adrain's living space. A large living room would roll out before Nyx with a few various doors and hallways leading out. Two golems stand by one heavier door, a restricted area. A large black tiger sleeps on the couch, not rousing when the pair would enter.
Adrain gestures Nyx over to the dining area which has finer tables and next to a fireplace with cushioned seats.
"So I'll try to make your 'gyazo', see if I can try to do anything similar to that. I am actually a fairly capable chef so I feel like it shouldn't be too, too bad. If you have any advice or want to come back and help with it by all means." he states with a smile before walking to a nearby room which had a number of magic/crystal based variations of things Nyx might be familiar with such as an oven and refrigerator.
Inside the kitchen, Adrain starts pulling out some ingredients such as flour, salt and other implements and begins to combine them into a dough. Meanwhile the stove starts to heat up gradually.

"Well if you know any tailors I could have one design what I am trying to describe and failing horribly at explaining." Laughing at little knowing that it would be easier if she could get someone to recreate it here in Nova for her. With that as well maybe even hire them and open a clothing store that sells clothing from different worlds of the Fated, she would have to ask Kail and some other fated about it once she got back to Bane.
The slight hesitation in his words made her think that she might of hit it on the nose, or maybe there was a boy in Adrain's life that made him question what his preference was. For the time being she wasn't going to push on it since it wasn't her business he wasn't family and she had much respect for him to not get involved in his personal life yet.
"Perhaps but I do wish whoever pulled me had given me a hint on how to return home." Giggling a bit, "Living to a hundred in this world. I do pray that if I do I age gracefully. I don't believe my mother would be able to accept that I am older than her if that was the case. I will take your advice and pray that Tara is alive and well and focus now on becoming stronger."
"Just let me know when you need the staff."
"Yes I am glad that I can fly again but I should look into either a flight spell or maybe a spell that allows me to summon my wings without my armor." She said as she looked at her wings, having missed them so much and promising never to let any harm come to them once again. Doing a face-palm having forgotten that it was a term not used in this world. "San it is a common way to address someone in my world. I guess the easiest way to explain is that is a term of respect but also that I think of you as my equal." She explained.
"You can call it an alternative state, but this is how I am without my mana armor to protect myself." A light chuckled left her lips at the mention of a young mage disrupting it and showing her body off to the world. "Well if they did that then I might have to teach them a lesson. After all, if they wanted to see they could have just asked." She did mean it, after all, there wasn't anything different about her body than a normal female's body after all and she wouldn't mind starting that mage's sex education early with they consent of course.
"I know but I feel like it would be best to have a story in place if it is asked." Nyx followed Adrain her eyes widen as she saw everything this school was not was she was expecting. She almost wanted him to slow down and give her a proper tour of this place but decided not to and for now just remembering all the twist and turns it took for them to get where they were going. Upon reaching the open area she eyed the green pod wondering if Adrain was crazy cause surely that thing wasn't going anywhere and would break upon the both of them stepping in. She was proven wrong as she took a seat and almost went into a panic but relaxed once she realize that he wasn't trying to kill her with the plant-a-vator.
Once off the plant-a-vator, she followed after him seeing the gold and black door. Before she asks a question if it was a kitchen she was greeted with an apartment of some sorts. Other than the fact that it was golems standing by the door and a tiger sleeping on the couch it was a nice place which she guessed to Adrain's down rooms.
Walking towards the dinning room table she placed the table and took a seat on the cushioned with her bent and tucked under her, with her hands folded on her lap. "Um... I think if your going to and make gyazo then I should help." Pushing off of the cushion she walked over to the kicthen, quickly doing her hair up into a messy bun not wanting to get flour in it. Coming into the kicthen she noticed that he already had gotten the ingredients together. "We can split the work I can make the wrappers for them while you make the filling or vis versa." She said. Once it was decided who was going to do what she starting working her share of the preperations, for once thanking Zepon for offering home ecomnice as part of the school's curriculum and her mother for demanding that she doesn't want a daugther who can only fight but one that can cook and make her wife or husband happy.

From when they left the infirmary to Adrain's quarters, a lot of the small talk had been wrapped up in some shape or form. It was surprising how chatty he could be with Nyx, when it wasn't conventionally his personality to be as such. It may have been just Nyx's lighthearted personality seemed to bring out the same in Adrain, at least when the subject was averted from the more depressing subjects such as the circumstances under which that she had been fated.
When Nyx came to the kitchen to insist that she wanted to help with the meal, he nodded. "Well you do the wrappers then since I can handle the meat and I admit I'd be sort of winging the wrapper part of it." he states, relinquishing that duty to the lady whilst he pulled out some chicken from a magical 'refrigerator' of sorts and begins to cook and saute it using a custom glaze.
The overall product would end up fairly well by all measures. After a drink and meal, the pair would then make their way to the Alternate Reality Chamber. When Nyx entered, she would see a vast chamber inscribed with countless glyphs, abuzz with magical energy.
"This is the alternate reality chamber, the culmination of many mages' work over the course of a year of experiments and effort. Just sit in one of the rune circles and close your eyes, entering a meditative state and the dream-state should start in short order." Adrain states, going to one circle himself and sitting in it after sealing the chamber from intrusion as the stone door closes and seals.
When Nyx would enter the state, she would find a large, grassy plain with hills and minor peaks scattered around. Adrain would stand at the edge, his hair drifting in the wind, waiting for Nyx to enter as her imagined self.
"As stated before, I want to see where your potential lies once you adjust to the magic of this world. I want to see your knowledge and ability at peak to judge where you should be in an Arch program should you be eligible for it. I will let you have the first move, ladies first after all. Don't fear pain or injury, they have been reduced to two percent for purposes here, enough to feel it just enough to gauge." he states, then quietly waiting for Nyx to begin.

After the meal which Nyx was happy turned out well given that not everything was to the letter of how it should be made. All in all, it was a nice meal and it was nice to be doing something that was familiar to her that made it almost seem like she was home for those few days with her mother by her side her little sister watching television while her father was trying to sneak a taste of the food.
She followed Adrain to the Alternate Reality Chamber looking around at all the magic symbols, feeling the energy in the air. It was familiar and yet strange at the same time. After she listened to the explanation on how the chamber worked she followed suit to one of the circles. Settling herself into a light meditation to let her mind and body enter the chambers to see what little test Adrain had created for her.
Upon entering the chambers the first thing she did was change her clothes from her somewhat still revealing clothes to the clothes she wore in training. Her skirt changed into shorts black running shorts with two pink lines on the sides that hugged her waist, her shirt changed a matching pink training bra revealing her tummy showing that it wasn't completely flat with only a four pack and a small bump. Finally, she kicked off her shoes and socks deciding that it was best to go barefoot was the best way. Closing her eyes she visualized her wings letting them take form in her mind deciding to try it out, feeling the weight of her wings she smiled as she opened her eyes. The outfit was much more revealing that her battle armor but it was her normal training clothes but it was easy to move around in as well.
"I hope my manner of dress is okay but this is more comfortable for me when it comes to training." She said in a light playful manner before getting serious with a goal in her mind not to beat the stuffing out of Adrain but just enough that she gets all of her anger and frustrations out on being dragged into this God-forsaken the world, with limited magic, no friends, no way to return and most of all Zepon isn't the king of this world.
"You in real fights ladies don't normally have first move." She said then chanted a quick spell under her breath to summon her staff at first a bit surprised that it worked then remembered that where were wasn't a true reality. She smiled since it meant that she had access to all of her spells.
Giving her wings a flap to get herself in the air she flew at Adrain staff ready to meet him in combat wanting to show him her psychical abilities first. All the while chanting a simple beginner fire spell under her breath mentally shaping it into a star for when she was close enough to unleash the spell to have it do more damage.

"Whatever you feel is appropriate for this occasion. It's a nice view." Adrain says, slightly teasingly toward Nyx since as of the timing of this thread, Adrain was a single man and able to at least make mildly flirtatious comments without ramifications. He could tell that Nyx was focusing, and the comment about real fights in which ladies don't normally have the first move evoked a chuckle from the mage.
"True...but you'll need the advantage." he says with his eyes closed and a soft smile. As he watched Nyx, every strand of manipulated energy within her form was visible to the mage's sense of mana. When she chose to engage in melee, his amethyst eyes traced her movements, his insight provided by the Fruit of Time allowing him to fortell most of the basic movements. When she got close enough to unleash the spell, Adrain in an instant encased himself in a block of ice, providing an effective defense against the fire spell and any successive, immediate melee hit.

Nyx smirked at the mention of the view if only she could dress like this all of the time but unfortunately this world she couldn't dress as she pleased and had to cover up. Her smile didn't last long at the mention that she could need the advantage now it made her wonder if he was that strong.
Her answer was quickly given as soon as the block of ice encased him blocking not only her fire spell but also any melee attack. She wasn't about to give up just needed to change her battle plan since she couldn't keep him on the defensive forever and he would have to attack her but before that she needed to find a crack in his defences. For that, she knew that she would need to buy herself some time to pull off what she had in mind and she knew the best way to do that.
She started chanting a basic earth spell for it to created a small pit under Adrain and his wall of ice. Once the spell was done she pointed her staff at him for the spot she wanted the pit knowing it wouldn't be deep but it would do for what she had in mind. Next, she flew up towards the sun deciding to use it as a natural shield.
She started to chant a more complexed air spell that would take some time to complete. As she chanted Adrain would notice a small change in the air pressure as she started to bend the mana and the air to her well.

When Nyx backed off to disengage and create a gap once more, the mage could sense her ascending attempting to do a bombard spell of some point. The ground lowered, which then forced Adrain to react before he became a sitting duck. The ice block shatters around him and then launches up in the sky splitting in multiple pieces at a variety of altitudes attempting to surround Nyx completely in ice shards whilst she was casting.
Once they were in place, electrical mana surges from Adrain as the sky fills with arcs of lightning, a more aggressive version of the spell that he had been practicing another time. The air literally electrifies and intensifies as the sparks and bolts randomly launch from ice to ice bit, but it would only last for ten seconds since the ice had a limited durability.

Nyx saw the ice shards surround her, she angled her staff across her body in a defensive position. That was until she felt the electricity in the air and her hair starting to flow upwards standing on ends watching the first sparks move from each ice shard she knew that she was screwed if she stayed in her current position but she still couldn't do much to avoid since it seems to not have a pattern lighting. Having to resort to a last minute defensive she curled her body up as she wrapped her wings around her to protect her body from any sparks that her at the cost of some of her feathers getting fried.
At this point, the clouds would have started to twist around them slowly forming a funnel informing Adrain that she was gearing up for a high-level twister that if there were not in the alternate reality chambers would rip half of Nova apart. Nyx just prayed that Adrain didn't fully catch to her full plan for the twister since it was just the first half of what she wanted to do and she just needed s few more moments for the twister to fully form before she could put the next step of her plan into effect.

"Remember...the goal isn't to actually overpower her, but to see what she can do. Just put up enough resistances to push her..." Adrain thinks to himself as he watched Nyx defend herself with her wings and then begin winding up another spell. The clouds began to stir, subtlety was hardly one of the attributes of the spell being created in the sky as the mana current and moving clouds would be quite visible. Nonetheless, he didn't interfere as he watched Nyx and then holds his hands out as shadows animate around Adrain.
Five beasts of shadow, jagged, humanoid shapes launch from ground into the air, seemingly cutting the light apart as they approached and causing the area around Nyx to grow dim. They launch their limbs, stretching them and attempting to ensnare Nyx.

Once she uncurled from her protection of her wings she pushed towards finishing up her tornado as she infused a simple fire spell into creating a whirling pillar of flames. Nyx didn't have much time to examine her tornado or even sending it on a proper path of destruction as the shadow beast started cutting through the light around her.
It was in that moment that she knew she only has one option at this point, throwing her staff to the ground. She lifted her hands up to cross her chest, using her wings once again to protect her for a few moments from the shadows. Saying her final prayers of her people since she was about to push her body beyond its normal limits and even in the Virtual Reality Chamber, she knew that there was a chance that she might pass out.
She chanted her spell, "Lights of this guide this servant. Grant her the powers of her kingdom and her god for only a few moments. Give her the powers of a full bloodied angel and guide her soul back to her body." Once done her wings unfolded as some of the limbs of the shadow figures had her ensnare as her body glowed with its own light her eyes turning cyan in colour with her hair standing on ends. Summoning a small ball of pure light throwing it towards Adrain's last known location.
At that point, her body stop glowing and went limp her wings disappearing causing her to fall from the sky as her body became covered a layer of water. As she as falling her soul detracted itself from her body as she flew to stand behind Adrain in a spirit like a stage. "Adrain can you catch my body if it gets damage I might not be able to return to this world." She said in a soft whisper as she watched the cuts that had appeared on arms start to stain the body crimson.

As the fire tornado started, Adrain looked upon it impressed by it's power. It was a little impractical in a solo fight and he wondered if Nyx ever used a spell like that in her own world. Nonetheless, Adrain knelt down and formed a barrier around himself while the Tornado approached. When it clashed against the shield, it gradually began to decline until it shattered and Adrain actually got engulfed momentarily, forcing him to teleport a distance away out of the path of the whirlwind.
Nyx's light banished the shadows, and launched at where Adrain was. It was fast moving and powerful, evading it would be difficult. At this point he dispersed into pure shadows right when the light hit causing a powerful explosion, a distortion and swirl manifesting around Adrain's immediate vicinity. A short time later, he would reform, his robe tattered and battered and blood marks manifesting upon him.
"Well, that was a little potent." he murmurs. When Nyx asked for him to catch her body or bad things would happen, he rose a brow, but decided to just do it to relieve the angel of whatever worry came to mind. He walked up to where Nyx's body would fall and then lowered it with air magic, gently dropping it to his arms before he then laid her down on the grass nearby. Once this was done, he looked at her spirit with a smile.
"You surprise me Nyx, you have a lot of potential in that short bit of sparring there. I wanted to see what you could do if you didn't have the whole 'getting used to mana' thing going and I'm impressed. You see, since I became Headmaster, there was a gap in the elemental school teaching. I would like to hire you as an instructor for introduction to elemental magic and teach you myself until you are up to speed if you need. Either way, you would be given a living space here and a salary, if you accept."

Nyx was thankful that Adrain caught her body she floated to her body giving it a quick look over. Other that the cut on the arms it seemed that she would be fine if she was to learn the how to bend the mana of this world she would surviving using that spell. Still, her condition of her body she would have to find a way to minimize the effect of using a spell without her staff if it was possible.
Turning to face Adrain still in her spirit form she scratched the back head suddenly feeling a shy. "Uh... thank you. It was also a nice to see what I could do later on in this world thanks to you help." Her eyes widen at the mention of a teaching position with not only benefit Adrain since he would have someone else to help educate the younger generation of mage with elemental magic but she would also have a place to crash at night without having to rely on a room in an inn being arrival or having to go crash on Kail's couch in Bane.
"I would be honoured to become an instructor here Adrain-san." Giving a small bow before going over to her body. Placing one hand over her heart the other on her forehead as she allowed her soul to re-enter her body. Once back in her body, she blinked her eyes before pushing off of the ground into a sitting position.
