After Adrain's worst injuries had healed from the undead siege, he thinks back to the events that happened that day, remembering that a young woman had a wing heavily damaged if not ripped off outright. He couldn't remember completely what happened, but the distraction the woman paid a price for allowed Adrain time to cast the spell that would shatter the red fog. It was only right in his mind to try to repay the woman for her efforts and pain and see if he can relieve the pain she may be experiencing. He had talked to the alchemists at the Arch, and with some effort secured a regeneration formula. He reasoned that the the potion could help the wings heal. Finding the young woman may be another effort in itself. He had asked around to see if anyone knew her, the best answer he could find that she was trying to fly outside the city. It was a lead as good as any, and using the Fruit for tracking down someone he wasn't even properly acquainted with felt awkward. The mage would wear a black robe with gold embroidery with the insignia of the arch on his left breast and shoulders. His white hair flowed loosely behind him, leaving the hood down for now. The formula was tucked in to one of the pouches inside his robe as he looked at the sky around the farmlands. Boots traverse the cold, snowy ground as he would crane his neck around to seek his quarry. Bandages would cover his exposed skin wherever it would peek out of his garments. He felt slightly silly staring at the sky, but sometimes silly things have to be done for the greater goals. Nyx

It has been only 3 days since she fought Helena and got her wins plucked out. The last two days have been hell for her the day before she had spent time at the hot springs only for it to turned into a boiling bath because simple comment and had to end of her lovely bath to help heal her wounds.
Today she had decided to hide out in the country trying to get herself air bound without her wings. But with her magic being limited to this for the time being and wind flight spell was something that she never thought about learning because she always had her wings which she got from her mother’s side of genetics.
Hanging her legs off the of roof that she had managed to climb to the top of looking out at the people going to and from the barn to the house. It was a small comfort that no one was looking up to spot her up there and start yelling at her when she was already feeling down about her lost.
Reaching for her staff that was in arms distance she looked at the design it was simple and beautiful at the same thing. It wasn’t too badly damage even with all the fighting she done with it in the past and the most recent fighting, she knew that she would have to find someone who knew how to repair magical weapons so that she would get her staff fixed up if it was to get a crack somewhere along its body. The heart in the ring was slowly rotating matching her own steady heartbeat. It was something she never told anyone but the heart on her staff because it only responds to her always match her own heartbeat even if the staff wasn’t in her hand only if someone recognized blood magic they would notice that the staff magical signature was very similar to her own.
Standing up she and closing her eyes for a few seconds as she took a deep breath. “Lights of the world guide this servant with the power to protect those she care about. Zepon Guide Me!" She said yelling the last part feeling the magic sound her transforming her into her blue body suit with her long white and blue gloves that reach her elbows with her white stockings that over her feet. The only thing different was that she at her shoulder blades were little stubs of feathers and scars of her feathers getting plucked out as well.
Sighing she looked up at the sky watching not noticing that someone was walking by under where she was. Spreading her arms wide placing one foot in front of her with some intentions to jump off and see if her little stubs of wings would take flight. "If I was meant to fly again send me a sign from the heavens." She said loud enough that the man in the black robe below her would be able to hear here.

Adrain was a little ways off when he began to hear a woman's voice. The words couldn't be made out, but he approached it thinking he may have finally gotten a lead on his target. A pulse of magic was felt for a moment, and as he walked around a barn, he found the angel in question standing at the top of a barn shouting about a sign from flying and then jumping.
The mage was taken a bit off guard, and since a drop like that would only take a few seconds he didn't have time to try to conjure something together, so he hopped a few steps forward and tried to reach up to catch the plummeting woman, but his right shoulder's injury surges causing him to twitch and the catch is far from graceful as Nyx crashes into Adrain, sending him tumbling into the ground with the woman on top of him. A bit of a tumble on the snow and Adrain would end up on the bottom looking at some angle of the woman's head atop of him. At least her bones probably didn't break...his own, remain to be seen.
"Well at least I found you, even if the first proper greeting was unconventional." Adrain says with a slight chuckle, waiting for Nyx to orient herself before trying to move himself.

Letting the feel of gravity pull her to the earth Nyx wanted for the cold earth to come make contact with her body to only feel the soft fleshy hands for a person. Causing them to tumble the snow helping break some of the damage that might have been inflicted upon them.
Once they had come to stop her head rest just over his chest her hands feeling the accelerated heartbeat for a moment. Pushing herself up her face flushed from the embarrassing position that they both had landed in and for her own fault for jumping from the top of the barn.
Standing up feeling a small pain in her ankle, looking down she notice a small bruise starting to small just above the connecting bone. Putting a little of weight on it to test to see if it was broken, having not heard the cracking of bones. The pain was horrible but not broken bone horrible.
Extending a hand to help the man up as she remember him mention something about having been looking for her. "Oh, you been looking for me? Also thank you for catching me." She said once the man was standing.
Looking at the man thinking that she has seen him somewhere before not knowing if it was at the battle or if it was somewhere in town. "Also are you are okay?" She asked as she saw the bandages flashed under his cloak, wondering if she might of cause his wounds to reopen.

Once Nyx had gotten up, he propped himself up with his hands, watching Nyx sort of shuffle quickly off of him then trying to stand up. He noticed her flinch at the pressure of putting weight on her ankle. As she offered to help him up by extending a hand, he smiled and shook his head as he stood. His back was a bit sore and other various aches, but nothing too horrible.
"It's alright, I see you may have sprained your ankle, I wouldn't want you to put additional strain on it." he says as he looks at Nyx. She was actually quite lovely up close, the definition of a freshly bloomed woman. The outfit was questionable given the weather but maybe she had some sort of insulating magic to keep her body heat in.
"It's no problem that I caught you, but why did you jump? The reason I was looking for you...well, I arrived at the West Gate when you were facing off against Helena. Seeing you in melee, I had held off on using a barrage of spells against her not wanting collateral damage, so that's when I started the Dispersion spell." he says as he lowers his head slightly. Internally, Adrain felt shame that he didn't try to Hasten or Shield Nyx or something. Granted, she may have been out of range but it bothered him nonetheless.
"But I saw that rather cruel attack that Helena did to you.." he says, his eyes shifting to Nyx's battered wings before back to her eyes. "I wasn't able to do anything at the time, but you bought valuable time for me to complete my spell and others to land a decisive blow against the enemy." he says as he then reaches into his robe, pulling out a crystal vial containing a blue fluid.
"I know Midwinter is a few days off, but I felt as though you could use this as soon as possible. This is a serum I had the Alchemists at the Arch create. It is a complex formula, but it relieves pain and hastens regeneration once applied directly, specifically to help restore the magical circuit and structure on top of the physical damage." he says as he then pauses a moment for Nyx to process.
"Also, once the medicine has been applied, I wouldn't mind getting to know the fearless woman who faced a pissed off goddess head on." he says with a slight smirk to relieve any tension that may be in the air.

Seeing him turn down her offer to help him up she made her way over to where her staff had landed. Bending down to pick it up she grinds her teeth to prevent the small cry of pain she as grabbed her staff, lending against it a help ease some of her weight off of her ankle. "It seems like I didn't get off too lucky." Laughing it off a bit since a sprain wasn't too bad.
"Oh, the reason why I jumped... guess I was hoping that God who my powers are more aligned to would grant me a small wish and let me fly."Her voice now sad since it was a true wish for her to fly once again or even master a bit more of her magic to summon her wings without full transforming.
Her eyes darken at the mention of Helena since she hated that woman with a passion now and until she got her wings back she wouldn't be training properly without the reminder of what happened. "I am glad I was able to help. I just wished it didn't cost me one of the few reminders of my mother."
The word Midwinter was something she never heard of it must be one the holidays in this world. For a moment, her eyes flashed with confusion if Adrain was to notice before it disappeared behind a mask of happiness. She listened as he mentioned they were able to make a serum that would help regenerate much faster than she would on her own and help restore the magical circuits of her wings. "Alchemist? Arch? Sorry for my ignorant but I am from Nova. This Arch is it similar to a school to learn magic?" She asked while eyeing the crystal vial. Surely if they were a school of magic here someone would know where it was and she could go there and train her magic.
Nyx laughed a little at the mention of her facing off against a pissed off goddess. "We can surely talk and get to know each other." Placing her finger on her lips. "But one question my arms aren't long enough to reach my back so would you mind helping me apply it?" She asked as the heart on her staff started to spin faster as her own heart beat rate increased.

Nyx's yelp as she went to get her staff did not go unnoticed. She may have been shaking it off, but the fresh sprain on top of the damage from the battle probably wasn't pleasant, at least it likely didn't contribute to a healthy state of mind. She was sweet in a way trying to keep others from being too concerned about her well being. Or maybe it was just her personal pride of trying to not look weak. Who knows.
The comment about being glad to help and sad that one of her memories of her mother, the wings, was damaged removed some of the doubt about her sweetness. People like her were rare, able to even speak in such a selfless manner. It was admirable. As Adrain's eyes were focused on Nyx's and not on her other...attributes, the look of confusion was indeed noticed. He chuckled slightly.
"Apologies for assuming you knew, but the Arch of Ages is indeed an academy for the development and education of the magical arts. An Alchemist is an individual trained in both magic and chemistry able to create special effects that both alone can't quite fully realize...for example to use a healing medicine would only relieve the pain of the physical wing and do nothing to accelerate the healing of the feathers while a spell alone is...unreliable with such a specific aim." Adrain says casually to explain the academy and the job of the alchemist.
As Nyx asked him to help her apply it, Adrain nodded. It was probably better if he could do it since he had an idea for how to hasten the healing a little more with some time manipulation, but he couldn't be certain the young woman would have wanted that before meeting her.
"Of course, I don't mind. Though applying this in the cold outdoors is probably not the most comfortable of places and I do need you to relax so that you are able to realize the effects of the serum." Adrain says as he then thinks about where to do so. They were a long ways off by foot to either Nova or the Arch, especially with Nyx's ankle sprain. The barn itself was probably not a good place either since if the farmer came in it could disrupt the process one way or another.
A portal would have to do: Adrain disliked using portals more than he had to: it typically causes a small panic to portal into Nova, and some nosy instructors usually could sense the portals created in the Arch, sometimes assuming that there was an attack of some kind. But then again, the Arch was on a break period for Midwinter, so less people should be there.
"Let me take you to the Arch, the Infirmary there should work well enough for us." he says as he forms a purple sphere of energy in his right hand as he starts to draw a glyph of white light in the air with his left hand. A few arcane words and eye glows later, the air begins to crack and then burst open in a purple and white rift of energy. He turns to Nyx, looks at her ankle (Not having noticed the staff to heartbeat correlation: Blood Magic wasn't one of his foremost specialties) then walks over to her.
"Let me help you since you are aching a bit more than you let on." Adrain says, and before Nyx knew it, he scooped the angel up into his arms maintaining as respectful a hand positioning as he could. "Yes I know most women find this embarrassing, but Portals don't last too long and I don't want you to risk being trapped in the void for any length of time in between. Besides, you already landed on me in that outfit anyway so this is a notch better than that." he says with a teasing smile and a chuckle as he then walks through the portal.
For a few seconds, Nyx would in the transition between the field and the Arch see a seemingly endless rift filled of wild energies and ruined structures with no consistent pattern between them.
On the other side of the portal, the pair would emerge in room that was indeed an infirmary: a number of made, empty beds lay on two sides of a long room with various magical based medical equipment nearby. The room would be odd in that there was a yellow glow that radiated from a crystal atop embedded in a tree root. The entire room almost looked like it were carved into a massive tree as large roots intertwine with the room proper.
A window would show a few excitable students rambling about Midwinter, a fireball casually being flung from one student to another which is frozen in mid-air by a frost spell. Adrain looks over and scowls at the students, shaking his head.
"If I tell them once, I tell them a hundred times not to use spells as toys.." he mumbled partially under his breath. He refocused on Nyx as he then walks to the closest bed and then holds her close enough that she can transition onto the edge of it as he lowered her.
"Give me a moment while you settle in and recover from the portal transition." Adrain says, walking away to what looked like a sink. He takes off his cowl, showing a loose fitting black shirt beneath with a brown pair of pants below. The shirt was short sleeved, as bandages wrapped a good portion of his arms. The mage actually had some muscle tone to him while not being burly. His white hair came down to his shoulders, a bit messy from being pounced and then in the cold. He waves his right hand as a blue spark manifests and water begins to spew from the crystal in an arc into the sink at which Adrain begins to wash his hands to make sure they are cleaned of dirt and grime: if the wings are so special to Nyx, he might as well have washed hands before applying a medical serum to them after all!

"Oh, no need to apologise," Nyx said as she waved her free hand to show that it was okay. After all, she wasn't from this world so it made sense that the idea of this past world being different from her own might have a magic school since magic was in this world. Listening to him explaining about the school it made her wonder if maybe she could enroll in a few classes or maybe even find some more information on blood magic and even her ability to see the future via cards.
"So it is similar to the academy that I went to for my own magical studies and training. Minus we didn't have people who trained in both magic and chemistry, that I went to for my own magical studies and training. Minus we didn't have people who trained in both magic and chemistry," She said now deep in thought, wondeing if maybe this was her reason for being brought into this world. To teach magic to new students plus also, maybe this school had a mirror that would allow her to finally see her family again if not maybe a mage that was powerful enough to help.
Coming out her thoughts her eyes sparkled with happiness hearing that he wouldn't mind helping her apply the serum. The mention of the outdoors not being the most comfortable places to do it plus with her ankle already standing for an extra long moment of time without moving would surely cause more issues than just a slightly sprained ankle. While thinking of a place that wasn't too far of a walk away she felt a slight magic energy, her eyes widen as a portal appeared just a few feet away from them.
She was about to hoble to the portal when she was swept up into Adrain's arms being carried bridal style. Normally she would kick and scream demanding that she was put back down right away since she was more than capable of walking on her own. Sadly before she could speak a word they were already passed though the portal before appering on the other side where she was placed on the ground.
Looking around she did notice that she was in an infirmary or one that was simalr to the ones that she was used to. Adjusting herself on the bed her legs swinging onto it as she looked out of the window seeing the students playing with the magic. It made her giggle a little thinking back to her own time when she was just like that. Her friends all running around tranforming playing with the more harmless magical spells that they been taught mostly the water spells since it was fun to run around throwing water each other. That was until their got into trouble and had to clean the bathrooms for a week or even worst having their magic sealed for a week while still having to attend all classes.
Her eyes soften just a little as she kept watching for a while longer, praying that they don't get into as much trouble as she did and have to miss seeing they family during the vacations because of it.
Refocusing her attentions on back on Adrain as she watched him wash his hands. It gave her some time to study him since he took off his cowl. She was glad to see that the bandages weren't spotted with crimson from his wounds opening back up after she fell on him, the muscles that she could see told her a great deal. That he did keep his body in good shape and worked out which was a good since if a mage magical energy ran low if a battle was drawn out being able to fight hand to hand and being fit came in handy. Next, it was his hair it reminded her of her father a little bit making her heart aching thinking of him.
Blinking away the tears that were threating to from, not wanting to get too emotional. "Question would it be easier or harder if I dispell my armor?" Nyx asked not sure if there was a seal on her back where her wings when she was in human form since she never gotten a chance to see her naked back. If they were a seal it mostly wasn't noticeable by her because was done at a young age to hide her angelic heritage and can only be undone by someone who had powerful magic to undo seals.
Turning back towards the window watching the students as she awaited his answer if he said yes that she would undo the transformation which would cause her magic to become visible able even to someone who can not see the mana that always ever present as it surrounded her in a light blue and white lights before returning to her normal state of dress with her cloak covering her body, under would be her normal clothes that black halter top with the straps tied around her neck with her pink mini skirt long white stockings and her boots.

"Yes it is probably easiest to think that way. It is through the Arch we teach magical adepts and neophytes the ethical and skillful application of magic to their jobs and lives. It is my vision that in the future, magic will be commonplace in day to day life for a better world." Adrain says when Nyx mentions the academy.
Moments before he put Nyx down, Adrain sighed a little. "Yes I could feel the indignation burning and seething off of you, but there was a moment a week ago I had tried to portal with a student who was distracted by the void in between sides of the portal and the portal had shut. It took about fifteen minutes to lock in on him to get him back out but he was quite traumatized by the experience." Adrain says with a slightly downcast look. There was always the downside of magic having many mysterious side effects of drawbacks to it. No magic was ever perfect.
Adrain hadn't noticed too much of Nyx's trance watching the students or reminiscing about home, not that Adrain would have known as much of either as of yet. As he finished and started walking back to the bed where Nyx had begun to settle in, he was approached with the question of dispelling her armor. A brow raised slightly.
"Only if it's needed to reach the base of your wing maybe...and I would have to darken the windows outside or put up a curtain in that case unless you have some other sort of cover under your armor." Adrain says. The mage wasn't aware that Nyx had a more human physical form and only could assume that she was a full angel. They were uncommon, but present enough on Nova.
In any case, assuming Nyx remained in her current state, Adrain first goes to the edge where her ankle was. He holds his hands around either side of the sprain as a ring of ice begins to form and surround it, a faint blue glow coming from the mana in the air being converted to frost energy.
"If I did that right, it should still transmit the cold through whatever armor that may be since metal channels cold fairly well along with most other materials. If I need to redo that on a bare ankle to get it to work, I can certainly do so." Adrain says as he then walks behind where Nyx was to where her wings would be sticking up.
"Get comfortable, this could take a bit, whether you want to sit up or lay on your stomach just as long as your wings can be reached easily enough." he says. Once Nyx had adjusted her position if she does, Adrain picks up the bottle of regeneration serum and opens the top. He attaches a small unit to the top which had a length of tube with a small green shine to it as he put an amount of the serum in his hand and began to apply it to the edge of Nyx's closest wing. A yellow and purple glow would be visible from light as he began to apply the serum gently to the wings. His hands would be warm intending to open up the pores and add comfort to the process while he had the smallest bit of time magic used to speed up the regenerative process another notch. By his eyes, he could see where the numerous mana circuits were frayed and damaged from Helena's attack. As he gradually began to work down from the tip to the middle of the wing, taking his time to make sure each broken link and damaged feather was correctly administered to, he finally speaks again.
"So where did you learn your magic anyway? You didn't study here, so I'm curious. You seem to have a great deal of potential for the elemental arts."

Nyx nodded her head as he explained more about the Arch. It a nice to know that it wasn't just a school for those to learn magic but also the ethical of using it in they everyday lives and jobs. It a little similar and different from her own school but a smile graced her lips at the dream of seeing magic used in every day in the commonplace. It was possible her own world wasn't at that place yet but magic being used every day would be a dream come up for sure.
"The poor boy, from what I been told traveling by portal requires one to focus the slightest distraction can cause one to go astray."Her heart going out for the student wondering if he was ever going to get over the trauma. "I do hope that he is able to recover from the experience."
"A simple curtain would be fine." She replied since she didn't have anything to any sort of cover under her armor well she did and didn't at the same time. Since if her armor was dispelled she would be in her regular clothes but until it was dispelled it was just her protective armor. Though it did make her wonder if she could strengthen her magic to adjust how her armor look since it requires her own magic to create it. It would have to be something for her to look into later.
Watching the Adrain hold his hands around either side of her ankle as she watched a ring of ice being to form. Ice magic it wasn't too far from water magic since ice is formed from water that has it's temperature lowered to that of its freezing point. She had to admit it did beat having to get an ice pack when no one knew how to crystalize water into ice.
Nodding her head, she moved to lay down on her stomach adjusting her body into a more comfortable position. Her eyes closing as she relaxed knowing that any kind of cream that is to help healing works much better when the person was relaxed. A sigh of happiness left her lips as she felt the serum slowly doing it's working her mind going back to her first day of school receiving her staff and transforming.
It was the same day that she had to leave home, her teacher giving her staff which she now still use, and telling her to channel her magic into the staff to bind it with her. It was a long process but she was able to get it done after that it was just natural the words for her magic spinning in her head as she started her first transformation giving her the current armor that she wears since from what she been told her armor her formed was based on what came into her mind at the time minus the wings since they seem to react to her magic.
Her mind leaving her first day of school as she pushed the memory aside to become focus back to reality. It seems that since coming to the Arch she been having lots of memories of her school almost as she missed learning. It was silly after all the time studying and training she did realize now that she was back inside the walls of a school she did miss learning.
"Where I learned magic it wasn't of this world." She finally said deciding that it was okay to tell Adrain that she was Fated. It was mostly because he reminded her of her father a little that she felt safe telling him. "The school I studied at in my world is used to train those selected to become protectors and guardians of their kingdom for life. Six years of schooling to learn they craft last two years are spent in the field for real world training. The name of the school I studied at is called The Royal Zepon Academy of Guardians."
"What you saw before was just a small amount... since coming to this world my magic as been reduce by 3/4 of what it use to be." She said since she had tried some of her other magic chants just to find out that nothing would happen also the connection to that element for the spell was almost completly lost.

"Right, well a curtain it is." Adrain says as he then looks at a crystal nearby. His eyes glow for a moment as he paused putting the medication on Nyx's wings.
"Alair Za Fahr" he mutters. An air elemental appears nearby, idle for a moment then flying over to the middle of the room and pulling a large blind style curtain towards them, pulling it around in an arc to block off the window. The task done, the elemental disperses in a cloud of particles.
"That seemed slightly lazy, but I am busy with the medicine so I had Ze'veir take care of that. A good fellow that elemental is." Adrain says, partially explaining what just happened there. With that, he resumed with putting the serum on the next part of Nyx's wings as it went down the length. He used his fingers in a massaging way while putting the medicine in, going for both maximum absorption and comfort of the angel.
"Lifelong kingdom guardian eh? Seems like your home world was a bit more interesting in that sense. At least it seems you have a firm purpose unlike some of the souls who come here to train looking for their way. Ironic that the name Zepon could ever be attached to something other than an anathema you don't utter unless you wish to summon the devil himself." he says with a small shrug. "What kingdom did you represent, tell me a bit about your home, what your favorite part was about."
As Adrain listened to Nyx indicate her magic was greatly weakened, a brow raised curiously, not that Nyx could probably see it.
"Most 'fated' who come to this world that use magic struggle to adapt at first, but with time and training they are able to meet their previous levels of ability quickly enough. The greatest attribute you can have is a strong will to bend the mana around you to your will. You may have to learn new methods of using your powers, but that's not too hard." Adrain says, continuing closer to the base of the first wing that he was working on.
"When we are done here, perhaps we can try to spur some of your recollection with the training room I made from a fated's idea. Something called 'virtual' reality, though I prefer the term 'altered' reality since it's a very, very complicated set of glyphs and circuits that uses astral projection to put your consciousness in a dream-like state...at least that's the best way I can explain it. In any case, there you can more easily activate your latent abilities at least in that false setting and perhaps get inspired in how to pull them back to your current self."

Nyx gasped as she saw an air elemental appear, only a few people she knew have known to have a contract to summon one at will or when they needed them. "It's okay. elementals are rarely seen where I am from." Her eyes watched his disappeared into cloud particles a little sad because we wanted to know more but if anything she could always do some research on it.
It seemed that since coming to this place she realized that she has a lot to research and learn, not that it mattered since she wanted to learn as much as she could to survive in this world.
She laughed a bit. "Lifelong kingdom guardian. Sadly it feels like I abandon my job since I was made to come to this world. Well not everyone gets the job of lifelong protectors. For those who didn't make it the six years, they are given other jobs working within the kingdom based on the years their were able to complete." A smile graced her lips about those who came to here unsure about what they wish to do. "Well, it is easier to find yourself and your destiny future is still a purpose."
She laughed once again wondering what Adrain would do or say once he found out the kingdom she represented or even how her world was set up. "Well, I been uttering his name since I was able to talk. See my world each God and Goddess rules over a kingdom. The kingdom I was born in is called is Laven and well Zepon was the ruler. Hm... my favorite part about it. That would be the open meadows that seem to go on for miles never seeing the end. Also, the food of my world I miss that the most."
"New methods of using my powers. Well, I think that would be hard for me since my magic isn't the norm. It is what once would call blood magic without an object that has been channeled with my own magical signature I can not use it." What she said was true and also sad in her case. Everyone else could use magic at the top of a hat and here she was limited to have to use an object to channel her magic or would cause her issue in the future from her blood thinning out to even death. Sighing at her sad fate that she could be a powerful or powerless mage if she had an item.
"Oh, so it's similar to the magical reality training rooms of my world, minus the mind going into an unconscious state." She said after hearing the explanation of the alter reality, as long as she didn't come out with bruises or newly formed welts on her arms and legs she would be fine.
"Question? Do you only teach magical studies here or do you also teach physical combat." It was just something that was on her mind plus learning more about the Arch didn't hurt as well.

"A fair number of elementals live at the Arch, attracted to it's potent energies. They work with us and assist us in return for having a relatively peaceful setting for them to exist in. I can summon a few of them if I need to, but I rarely do so. Elementals actually have a fair bit of personality unlike mortal beings, I view them as equals." he says with a small smile. "If you earn their respect, they would likely do the same for you."
Adrain's fingers knead at a fairly difficult portion of Nyx's wing with a firmer massaging feel. The patch of wing had calloused up and made it a little more difficult to work the formula in. Perhaps a bit of Helena's acidic blood that was in the wings struck particularly hard there.
"Maybe try not to think of it as abandoning but an extension of your training. It appears that Fated can be pulled across mulitple points of time as well as world to here. It is possible you can return to roughly when you were pulled without any significant time passing, wiser and perhaps stronger for it. Think of it as an opportunity." the mage says as he works his way to the base of the first wing, firming up his hands and massaging motions since the base of the wing was firmer and more thick. As he approaches the bottom of the wing, it is a little too narrow for his fingers to reach correctly, but since Nyx said it was able to be dispelled, the mage assumed the armor was a mana construct. He simply uses a very narrow dispel to disrupt the mana around the back, exposing the point around the base of the wings and the gap in between to the light, working in more of the magic and serum into the wings.
"I see, I should like to visit your world and observe the differences if an opportunity should present itself. It sounds fascinating how divergent the roles of the gods are compared to this realm. What kind of food do you have on your world, such that it seems to be different from the fare you have had here thus far."
As Nyx described how her magic works, his brow raised. It sounded very inconvenient to have a dependency on an object such as that.
"It should still be possible for you to learn how to use our mana based magic, since it relies on incantations and glyphs. Granted that would be learning a new school so it wouldn't emulate your original abilities as quickly. However I am skilled at making magical items so it is possible I can either modify your staff since I assume that is what you use right now or make you a new one that is more potent and able to draw your powers out." he says with a small chuckle. "Which isn't to say that your normal staff is weak, but I know the various properties of metals and gems and can figure out what will probably work best on this world. Probably an orichalcum base with an electrum coating inscribed with Xer and Avan glyphs integrated into elemental gems infused with some of your blood." Adrain says, going about a mechanic process for a first draft of a staff for Nyx.
"In any case, if we go to the Alternate Reality Chamber, you should be able to tap into your full potential since it relies on your mental image of yourself and not merely the physical limitations of reality. The reason it is a mindscape instead of a pocket dimension is that it allows a lot more open and fierece training without worrying about pain, death, or other inconveniences of physical based training."
At this point, Adrain had finished with the first wing and was working into the base of the second wing. Nyx's first wing should feel tingly, warm, and perhaps the new feathers would gradually start to come in since it was time accelerated. In any case Adrain would do a more focused burst of time energy once he was done. Nyx brought up physical combat and the mage shrugged.
"There is a physical training regimen available and required yes, generally self defense. There are some more advanced courses for those who wish to learn Runic Combat or Ethereal Arts, but the Arch admittedly doesn't go that far into combat training with weapons. I do a lot of staff training with a group in a club as well as fencing and swordplay sparring."

As she listened that a fair number of the elementals lives at the Arch it made her want to stay at the Arch even more. It's not like she had a home to stay at in Bane sure she could properly sleep on Kail's couch but it wasn't truly a home for her to return to every night. Maybe if she stayed at the Arch she would feel a tiny bit at home having been use to living at her school plus it would be the perfect way for her to bond with an elemental.
"I wouldn't want to return to the point of time I was pulled from. See... at the time I was pulled from Laven I was walking my sister home from school." Turning her head as far as she could to look behind her to take a quick peek at her little stubs of wings and to look at Adrain for a moment before turning back to face forward. "Tara that's my little sister name. She was lucky not to be chosen to become a life-long guardian, so she was enrolled in regular schooling. Sorry getting distracted, but I was walking home from school catching up with her when it happened." Pausing in her tale a little as she closed her eyes every detail of the attack happening, her sister and her talking as they walk down the street passing the fenced homes with they walls, some parents outside greeting they children other were quickly rushing them inside having seen the strange boy in the sky. "An attack happened overhead, my partner in protecting that part of kingdom met the enemy in the sky. No, my partner doesn't have wings he used a flight spell. At the time, I was focused on getting my sister home then my job. We started to move quickly when a stray energy ball headed towards us... it was at that moment I was pulled from my world. The last thing I saw was my sister with the energy ball heading straight towards her."
It was one of her bittersweet memories and if what Adrain said was true that she return to her time without the passage of time having moved forward much in her time then she hoped she returned moments before the attack happen to make sure her sister lived.
"I am not sure if you would like my world. It is different from Nova from how to dress to the food, the buildings even the landscape. The food is hard to describe there is this one that I love the most it's called gyoza." Thinking for a moment on how to describe the item to someone who had never seen or even heard of it. "It's a dumpling that is filled with vegetables and ground meat, we normally fry it. It is more of a snack than a full meal but still very delicious. I haven't found anything close to it here in Nova."
Listening to him about the magic in this world that it was more mana based, incantations she was used to hearing since she had to use them along with her own staff. Glyphs was a new one for her and it would be interesting if what he said earlier was true. That she was brought to this world not to help it but for it to help her to grow stronger before she is sent back to her world. "That is okay it would be best if I could learn and adapt to this world's magic." She laughed a bit at the mention that he knew hot to make magical items. "You know it is funny you said that I was hoping to find someone that could repair magical items. My staff doesn't need any repairs yet that I could see but I did want someone to take a look at it. As much as a new staff sounds it's not that easy since I would need to infuse it with my magic so if I ever lose it in battle I can recall it to my hands." It was what she did for all of her magical items including her cards in case she loses them in the house somewhere to have them return to her hand after a few minutes.
"Wait, the Alternate Reality Chamber..." Thinking for a moment "Since it relies on a mental image of myself would it be possible for me to recreate my home world or even a small section of it." If it was possible then this way she could easily show him her world and even maybe have a place she could go once in a while to get a feel of being home once again, even if it wasn't her real home.
Nyx started to feel her wing warm up and the slight tickle as some feathers started to regrow. Turning her head once again to look behind her at her wing she smiled the feathers were so soft but she did notice one thing the colouring was off it wasn't the normal golden feathers that she was used to seeing instead it seemed to be a mix of Golden Yellow and Peral White, odd that her feathers would take on a new colour. It was now another thing to add to her list to research.
Nodding her head happy that the Arch also made it mandatory for students to take come kind of self-defense. "Now silly question, how does enrollment here at the Arch work. I don't think it is anything like my world where you are chosen at a young age based on what you told me so far." Her next set of questions she would save for later, from how they go about the hiring process for the school and if she could drop in on a lesson or two and last would it be possible for her to borrow a few books on some topics that she wanted more information on.

"Then if there is a way to help it, we will reinsert you at a point prior to that, though that does present a risk of a time paradox if two of you exist simultaneously. I'm not sure what would happen, but in the event that you can successfully be replaced to that moment you have in mind, just try to be careful." Adrain says, having thought about the nature of time magic but there were a thousand unknowns yet to figure out.
As Nyx went on to describe the circumstances when she was pulled to Nova, he lowered his head slightly. That would weigh heavily on anyone's heart to have an unknown floating over one's heart indefinitely without any way of knowing how it resolved. If there was a way to show that maybe her ally had intervened and saved her sister it would relieve a heavy weight off Nyx's heart. Adrain would have to look into a way to find that out somehow, not that he was sure if he could pull that feat off even with the Fruit.
The shift to the world and food was a welcome change. He took note of how to make 'Gyoza' and would try to make something similar later. The mage was admittedly curious. "I imagine all worlds are different based on the various fated I've seen over time. It is precisely that which makes me want to go and learn and bring back what knowledge I can to enhance the lives of those who live here but that is admittedly ambitious. I'd have to learn how to reverse-engineer the process that brings fated over here which is still a massive unknown."
As Nyx talked about her staff, he chuckled slightly. "Item recall is a pretty basic enchantment to put on most spellcasting foci. If you don't want a new staff completely, perhaps I can create an ornament that enhances your existing one or some other modification to simplify the process of casting between your natural method and the Novian method."
"Possible yes, but it requires a lot of work, if it's something you want to work towards we can work on that to teach you the basics, but it isn't something where you just think it and it happens easily as far as the environment goes."
As Adrain works the serum and the feathers start to manifest, he admittedly didn't seen an abnormality since the one time prior he saw Nyx with proper wings, it was high in the air in the fog of battle. He continues to work up the second wing as Nyx asked about enrollment.
"Traditionally there are entrance exams held twice a year for new students towards the end of winter and the end of summer. A mage candidate has to demonstrate a knowledge of the basic mechanics of mana magic as well as display an execution of said magic in a controlled setting. We don't look for reasons to eliminate people as a means of making people be unnecessarily competitive since the art of the mage is ultimately the search for truth, but we do want to only use our resources with people who want to grow as magi and have the ability and willingness to do so."
Over the new few minutes, Adrain would finish applying the serum to the second wing, and then steps back, remoing the heat magic from his hands and then holding both hands over Nyx as he concentrates using time magic in a controlled manner to accelerate the growth of the feathers, pausing if anything seems off while trying to balance the growth such that it is roughly even.
