"If that is your wish then I will work with you on that subject...later." he says mischievously, referring to the festivities to come. It made Adrain happy in a way that Lucinda wanted to learn of magic. Her openmindedness truly showed with that decision. Though hopefully she was able to conceal that or at least not show it off so much in front of the King whom was still always skeptical of magic's place in the world.

"You are an adult woman, I know nobility is a pain in the ass but I imagine you could find some plausible reason to leave for a day, even half a day would be enough." Adrain said trying to be optimistic. He knew it wasn't that simple but there was bound to be some reason or another or some way to make it happen. At least portals made things very convenient.

"Well it is set on closest to reality settings for a number of very good reasons." Adrain says, then looking slightly disappointed as Lucinda's top remained on. Of course then Lucinda turned the tables and glanced at his pants still on with her intent obvious enough.

"Oh is that right? I suppose I should be fair then...or should I?" he chuckles and says, undoing the belt and other components, but not quite pulling off the pants, looking up at Lucinda with a teasing smile, leaning back on his fist with a seductive gaze, the wind blowing his silver locks about.

Lucinda grinned as Adrain agreed to teaching her. "Thank you," she said simply, allowing that subject to drop for now. They could discuss it later, figure out what her element was, where a good place to practice would be. Certainly not at the castle with Uncle Noku and Roland's security systems. Adrain's next words were encouraging, to say the least. "I'll think of something," she promised. Perhaps Aria would be willing to help with a cover story.

Refocusing her attention, Lucinda sat up and scooted closer to Adrain. She laughed a bit when he reminded her that they had the settings up for good reasons. "Ah yes. I do remember you saying that. It is just so hard to believe that this is not real," Lucinda said. She looked Adrain up and down for a moment, reaching out a hand to stroke his chest. "You feel pretty real to me," she said, teasing. She noted his disappointment and considered for a moment, the potion still present in her system. Then, reaching around, she undid the clasp on her bar, sliding the straps over her shoulders and then tossing it to the side.

As Adrain teased her and undid his loosened his pants, Lucinda leaned over him, placing a supporting hand on the other side of him. Her lips met his first for a deep kiss, then moved lower, dropping kisses along his neck and collar bone. The princess trailed her free hand down his chest and midsection, resting it on his upper thigh. The wind was very helpful in blowing her hair out of way as much as his. "I believe this is where we left off?" she asked seductively, desire dancing in her blue eyes. The potion was slowly wearing off, but her desire to please Adrain had not lessened in the slightest. Rather, it almost felt like she wanted him more now.

"It's real enough until the circumstances arise we can just go for the real thing." Adrain says with a wink to Lucinda. A tingle approached his chest and lower as Lucinda touched him grazing her soft hand against his chest. Then off came the bra and onward came the horny Lucinda to which Adrain was more than happy to meet and indulge. Seeing her with her hair blowing and smiling seductively only made him want to please her as much as she him.

It wasn't clear quite how long the two would be coiled in love's embrace together, but it would be one of the most remarkable experiences in Adrain's life. The couple would go through a number of rounds, with Adrain even indulging some of Lucinda's more interesting requests. The warmth, beauty, and radiance of Lucinda's body, even in the dream-like state, was without compare.

At the end of it, when both had enough, the dream-like state would end, Adrain manifesting and still holding Lucinda tightly against him saying nothing with a content sigh, absentmindedly caressing Lucinda's side. Once Lucinda had settled back into reality, Adrain kissed her neck once, even with the potion having worn off by this point still wanting to please his princess.

"That was amazing." he says calmly, taking it in for now.

Lucinda came to in reality after what had to be the best night of her life. She felt fairly certain that if they hadn't been in the dreamscape that she'd be sore for a week. Adrain was a wonderfully attentive and indulgent lover, with the body of a god. Lucinda returned his affections equally, enjoying the freedom they had to explore each other and their interests. It was impossible to measure how much time had passed, nor did she want to, as they twisted through love's roller coaster only to begin again and again. 

When they had both come back to reality, Adrain was still holding her to him which she didn't protest against at all. Lucinda smiled up at him as he kissed her neck, snuggling into him. "That was wonderful!" Lucinda agreed, sighing happily. "Yes, it is definitely real enough until the circumstances change. Or should I say, if. I don't want to presume." she added, finally agreeing with his earlier statement. "Thank you. I've had such a wonderful evening with you, Adrain," Lucinda added, reaching up to give him a soft kiss.

Adrain smiles contentedly, returning Lucinda's kisses and not responding. He wanted her to wonder, but he definitely could see a future with Lucinda if there is a solution to that whole social class bullshit. "The night isn't over yet." he says coyly, as he picks up Lucinda and teleports the pair back to the terrace where they started.

Serai was rolling around on both of their clothing, being an ass, but he begins running off, the fact Adrain was princess carrying Lucinda the only reason he didn't become a catsicle. Adrain glares at the cat, but then puts Lucinda back down to give her space and time to get dressed. Adrain does the same, more quickly since he only removed his shirt and robe in reality, and then goes over to behind the bookcase, pulling out four packages and carrying them over, putting them on the seat next to Lucinda.

"Midwinter is formally over, but it is the time we met and I wanted to get you some things." he says with a warm smile, waiting for Lucinda to go through the packages.

In one, there would be a gold ring with a blue gem in the middle, but if looked at closely enough there would be a magical stone beneath. The second, a platinum bracelet of sapphires and water gems, having an apparent magical aura around it. The third, a painter's pallete made of fine material, but yet again having a magical aura to it. The last, a snowglobe enchanted to show a night sky with a prismatic aurorae shimmering above a platform with shooting stars constantly flowing across the edge of it

Lucinda smiled as he returned her kisses, noting his silence. She supposed suspense was the name of the game and as such, wasn't upset. She gives him a curious look at his comment and a little 'oh' of surprise as he picks her up, finding herself back on the terrace a moment later.

The princess smiled as she saw Serai rolling around on their clothes, finding the action quite cute, even if they were mostly her clothes. After he runs off and Adrain sets her down, she dresses quickly, slipping her hair pin into a pocket of her cloak since she couldn't very well put it back up herself. As she's dressing, she watches Adrain dress and then go over to the bookcase. Her eyes widen in surprise and curiosity as he returns with packages, setting them on the couch. Lucinda's face split into a grin as Adrain explained that they were indeed for her.

Thrilled just at the prospect of having gifts from him, Lucinda squealed and moves to wrap him in an embrace, giving him gentle, gratitude filled kisses. She then settles herself on the couch and pulls one of the packages onto her lap, opening it carefully, and making an 'oooo' noise. Incidentally, she had picked the bracelet first and slid it immediately on her wrist, turning it this way and that, admiring the way the night sky reflected in the gems. "What kind of gems are these? Not the sapphires, these others. They're gorgeous," she asked curiously. Something seemed different about the bracelet as well, but she couldn't pin point it and so moved on to the next package. The second one she opened contained the palette. It was exquisitely made, a painter's dream. Again, something seemed different about it and she turned it curiously, not seeing the difference that she could feel.

Moving on to open the third package, Lucinda actually gasped as she pulled out the snowglobe. It was the Headmaster's terrace, a perfect little replica of the night complete with shooting stars and the aurora from the tree. "Oh, Adrain... It's perfect," she said in a hushed tone, as she peered into the globe. After a moment, Lucinda carefully set the obviously enchanted snowglobe aside, picking up the last unopened box. Inside this box was a delicate gold ring set with a beautiful blue gem in the middle and a second stone hidden beneath it. Lucinda examined it for a moment, smiling, before slipping it on her right hand. It looked gorgeous against the paleness of her skin. "Thank you," she said earnestly, standing to give him another deep kiss, having to stretch because of their difference in height. "Something feels different about these, Adrain. What is it?" she asked after a moment, looking back down at the palette and snowglobe.

Adrain watched as Lucinda went excited eyed at the gifts that she got, barraged him with kisses, opened her gifts, and barraged him yet again with affection. He waited til she settled down a little before beginning to explain the items for Lucinda.

"Well the snowglobe is just a reminder of tonight, I had a feeling tonight would be special but it surpassed even what I could have anticipated. When you look at it, I just hope you will be happy." he says, then looking at the palette.

"The palette is enchanted in a way such that you just have to put water on it and it will manifest as a paint of any color you can think of. The bracelet's other gems are water gems which when you say Iceaus Veras a bow of ice will manifest in the ideal shape. It's to give you an option to defend yourself while looking stylish." he says, then taking Lucinda's hand and holding the hand with the ring up.

"The ring, I believe is the most special gift. It has a runestone that will allow you to teleport here when you wish to. It is to give you a place you can be yourself at a whim, where you can be yourself without having to be Princess Lucinda or Noble Lucinda, but real Lucinda. Granted, it takes a few hours to recharge and it's a one way trip, I can take you back but it allows you to visit me when you want and an emergency escape as well."

Lucinda listened as Adrain explained the gifts, having calmed a bit since the initial receipt. She smiled as he explained about the snowglobe first, but didn't say anything yet. Her eyes widened in surprise as he told her about the enchanted palette and bracelet. She grinned after a moment, appreciating that he had made an effort to give her gifts that took the hobbies she already practiced up a notch. She waited, knowing he wasn't finished, and allowed him to take her hand to highlight the ring. As he explained what the ring did and what his intention for giving it to her was, Lucinda looked up at him, a tender expression settling on her face and a warmth in her eyes.

"It has indeed been a very special night. I was not sure what to expect when you asked me to join you and I was, admittedly, quite nervous. I'm not sure I want any more of that potion again for awhile, but it certainly had its usefulness," Lucinda said, laughing a little, then continued, "These gifts are amazing, thank you. I feel like you've really come to understand me as a person, and these are a perfect demonstration of that," she finished, smiling.

Adrain's warning about the ring made the princess grin, oddly enough. "All good things come with limits, I've found. I don't mind if it's a one way trip but I do apologize if I ever interrupt anything with my sudden appearance," Lucinda said, sounding overall very appreciative. Then she seemed to remember something else and bit her bottom lip a little. "Adrain, now that we're not under the effects of the potion anymore, I was wondering...if all the, well, affection bothers you?" she asked, tentatively. Lucinda was a bit unsure of where they stood now that the potion had worn off and she didn't want to make him uncomfortable. Yes he had said he had real feelings for her, but that didn't mean that he necessarily was comfortable with them being quite so close, so soon. Really, her logic didn't make sense but she was clearly having a slight moment of insecurity.

"Yeah...lets just keep what happened with that potion between us mm? Even if we sort of cheated the normal process I wouldn't advertise it for a number of reasons both obvious and not." Adrain says rubbing the back of his head. Now that the head of the moment had worn off he just hoped that Lucinda wouldn't accidentally say something that might bring trouble for her.

As Lucinda started to have an insecure moment, Adrain cuts her off midway by kissing her lightly then tilting his head, looking at her. "Yes I give you a way to invade my privacy at will because I am uncomfortable with affection." he says with a teasing sarcasm. "Granted we can't really be affectionate in public and there are some things to figure out, but don't worry, okay?" he says, then leaning in to Lucinda's ear.

"Besides, you could always come by and find me asleep and wake me up in a creative way.." he teases, knowing that would get Lucinda riled up.

Lucinda nodded, completely understanding that they needed to keep this quiet. "I do not intend to go shouting it about the castle. People would not look fondly upon it. I am concerned about Aria finding out though," she said, seeming a bit nervous as she twisted a strand of her hair. She knew Aria could speak with animals and worried that Serai would tattle on them.

The princess's moment of insecurity was shushed quite soundly as Adrain cut her off with a kiss and she gave him a sheepish, relieved smile. "I did not even think about that, Adrain, how silly of me," she said, laughing a little. As he reminds her that they cannot be affectionate in public, she nods. "Yes, I am aware, of course. I was not speaking of public meetings, though," Lucinda added. She knew what would happen to her reputation if this got out or if people saw them being affectionate without them officially being a couple. It really wouldn't be good for either of them, actually. "You have just as much to lose as I do, if this gets out..." she said, trailing off. She didn't really want to imply anything.

When Adrain made his teasing comment about sneaking in and waking him up, Lucinda laughed, blushing a bit at the implication. "Perhaps you will be so lucky, one day. For now, and speaking of sleep, I should get back to the castle. It's terribly late. I can only hope no one has informed Uncle Noku of my absence," she said, biting her lip again. If her Uncle found out, he would not be pleased and then he would likely tell her brother who would also not be pleased. He'd probably lock her in a tower somewhere and leave her to rot.

"Right, which on a related note let me get that damn cat's hair off your clothes.." he starts as he approaches Lucinda and holds his hands up as green energy begins to manifest. A powerful gust begins to blow over her clothing, but not to the point it would damage it. He would go around until he was convinced there was no way any of the tiger's hair could linger on her clothing, then pausing.

"Well if it gets out, we shall simply elope and carry off to the unknown lands to establish a new kingdom of beauty, love, and peace!" he says, pointing aimlessly into the distance with an exaggerated tone of voice to try to pull Lucinda's mind off that worry.

When Lucinda blushed and taunted Adrain in return at his suggestion, he poked her nose. "But Lucindaaa, I must feel your passionate embrace as often as I can or I will wither away and dieeee" he says, feigning weakness by clasping his hands over his chest. As she makes motion to leave though, he nods and gets a spare basket for Lucinda to carry her things with. Once she was packed up, Adrain pulls her close, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Tonight was remarkable and a night to remember. I hope to have more of them like that with you. And if it somehow becomes an issue, you can just state you requested to watch the meteor shower for inspiration for one of your paintings from the highest point in the land. You are an adult and not even a part of Noku's court directly. I think you worry a little too much, so just try to relax, okay" he declares, then leaning in to kiss her deeply for a time. Once they were both satisfied, Adrain would open a portal back to the spot outside the castle.

Lucinda smiled, amused, as Adrain offered to get Serai's fur off her clothes. Considering the big cat had rolled all over them, that might be a bit suspicious. "Thank you," she said simply then covered her face as he conjured a gust to blow it away, straightening her hair afterwards, necessary or no.

She laughed as he went into theatrics concerning their accidental coming out. "That's a wonderful plan. I would gladly elope with you for such a noble cause," Lucinda answered, highly amused and grinning. Adrain continued his dramatics as she taunted him, insisting that he needed her. She reached over and kissed him lightly. "I will try to visit as often as I can," she promised, smiling gently.

After he assisted in getting her ready, including providing a nifty basket, Lucinda made a noise of surprise as Adrain pulled her in close. Her blue eyes looked up to meet his amethyst ones as she listened to him, nodding in agreement. "Tonight has been amazing. I cannot honestly thank you enough for this Adrain. I will try not to worry but I've never done anything like this in my life. I am not sure I'm allowed to be this happy, honestly," she said, only half kidding about the last part. The princess returned Adrain's kiss enthusiastically, sighing at its end. She watched as the archmage opened their return portal, nodding when she was ready.
