The short woman in clothes made from tanned animal skins hummed as she dragged the whetstone back and forth along the blade of her tomahawk. She had been meticulously sharpening the old blade, causing her shoulder to go sore. She sat outside among the training dummies and practice targets that have seen better days. These mini training grounds were in the backyard of a decent sized home, far too large for the woman by herself. Moments later a tall man with a deep scar going down his cheek came out from the back door of the home. His blue eyes practically alight with excitement as he looked down to the petite warrior. “Kasa! How would you like to add another skin to your collection, my dear?”
She rose her head with interest, setting aside the whetstone and rising to a stand. She clipped her tomahawk back into place in its sheath that rested on her hip. Her wolf and deer skins in a satchel that hung from her shoulders against her back. “Ansel find something for this one, yes?” She asked with excitement in her voice. Oh, how she loved when some farm out in the country was running into troubles with some sort of beast! Its skin once it was defeated would make a fun new toy for the little Skin-Walker. “Mhmm, come down to my study. We'll plan the trip with Leyanin.” He said and motioned for her to follow, to which she gladly did. He lead the way down the hall then down some stairs where his study was. He cursed as his foot slipped on an uneven step. Grumbling on how he'll have to send for someone to fix it. Kasa chuckled at his grumbling. “What, Ansel not able to- ah!” Distracted by her attempts to tease her good friend, she quickly forgot to skip over the uneven step and slipped. Her body locking up in surprise and she braced herself, ready to go tumbling down the steps and into Ansel. She wouldn't hear the end of it from him after this. But she never did hit those stairs or Ansel. She opened her eyes only to be greeted by stone bricks. She hit a chilled stone floor with a thump that echoed through the alters room. She groaned somewhat and pushed herself up so she was sitting and rubbed her scarred neck. “H-Hatlvno ayv?” She stuttered with a grumble. She felt her stomach twist somewhat as she looked around, a sense of panic washing over her at realizing she had no idea where she was.

Kail had come by the temple on his break from working in his shop for the day. As he got to the temple there was a certain sound when someone being dropped in from a portal drop. The blond pokes his head in and sees a new person trying to get the fog of what happened to them out of there heads. What he saw was a dark haired girl with pointed ears and speaking some kind of unknown language. More then likely from her world in this case and he slowly walks into the room. Kail was dressed in his jeans and a short sleeved shirt. On either side of his waist were two swords one was a bit bigger then the other but not by much. "Easy there, just give yourself a few minutes before getting up. That first step is a doozy" he said and then offered a hand up. He knew in the next few minutes whatever effect was placed in the world that would know the basic tounge of Nova. Kail did have his blond haired pulled back and his glasses were on his face, he would look a bit out of the ordinary in a fantasy world but at this point he did not care.

Kasa's ears twitched somewhat as she picked up the noise of steps. Slow and cautious. She tried to leap to a stand and growl at him like an animal, which probably might have seemed threatening if she wasn't so small, but it seemed even less so when she stumbled in her steps and sat herself back on her rump. It was like when you stood up too fast and your head gets dizzy. She blinked and sat still, staring forward until her mind sorted itself out. “Easy there, just give yourself a few minutes before getting up. That first step is a doozy.” She looked back up to the blond man. His hair was long and tied back, he wore...Simple clothes, yet still strange looking to her; He had swords on his hips as well. So he was a warrior. Or some sort of fighter? She remained quiet and studied the stranger, not realizing how long she was quiet for but at least she didn't seem confused by what he said. She seemed to understand perfectly what he said. She was just...Taking her sweet time studying him from afar before she went and accepted his help. At first she tried to push herself back to a stand on her own. Not to be rude to the young human but she wanted to see if she could do it on her own. She felt a rush, weaker than before wash over her again. 'Nope. Not quite ready.' She thought to herself, this time grasping the man's hand tightly and using him for balance. “Ah..Where...Where is this one, yes?” She asked him. Her heart still beating hard in her chest from before. She furrowed her brow a little and looked up to him, “And why is this one here? Did yvwi...Human, bring this one here?” She asked, her shoulders tensing with suspicion again.

Seeing that the girl was still out of it Kail looks around and sees a bench near by. "Before I talk more in depth lets walk over here. But I will say this though, I was not the one that summoned you here. Its a complicated situation " said Kail as he leads the girl over to what looked like a small rest area. As there were several benches and a fountain that had water running for anyone that needed a drink of water. Mostly a small addition that was made due to the slight summoning sickness that some Fated were hit with when brought to this world. "And to be be blunt this is not the world your from. You might want to sit here" he said motioning to the bench that was there. What made Kail curious was the manner of speech she was using. It sounded as if it was a child was speaking or something from an anime or manga he once read. "So whats your name? I'm Kail" he said trying to befriend this girl. Or at least put her at ease since there might be some distrust to him as a human. But Kail could have been mistaken in this though since this was there first meeting after all.
From what the blond could see, the girl might have been from another fantasy world. Mostly due to what she was wearing, he could tell though this was not an elf. Since she looked a lot more wild looking or thats what the impression he was getting from Kasa. Kail would try and take things slow since he rushed things. The person might get overloaded and freak out more on there situation.

Kasa followed the young man, keeping a firm grasp on his hand as they walked. Supposedly he wasn't the one who summoned her to...Where ever this place was. It smelt dusty and musky though, the air was stagnant. That same scent clinged to the young man over top his regular scent too; He must live in this place. As they approached the resting area her eyes focused on the fountain and she licked her lips. She hadn't realized how thirsty she was. “And to be blunt this is not the world your from. You might want to sit here.” He said, motioning for her to sit in the nearby bench. Her tough-gal stare softened into a worried one, she took his advice and sat on the bench. She pulled the wolf pelt from her satchel and pulled it around her like a blanket. Smiling somewhat at its scent. It still smelled held the scent of her home. “So whats your name? I'm Kail.” She heard him speak up again, his voice gentle and calm, she looked back up to him, pursing her lips a little before answering, “...Kasa. This one is Kasa.” She paused after her introduction, looking back towards where she landed and then looking to Kail, her nerves slowly beginning to relax after their initial shock “Why was this one brought here?”

"Alright Kasa, I am going to try and explain the situation as best as I can. You were brought here by the power of a demi-god by the name of Fate. Now its been said that we can change this world's destiny. For what I am not sure,I have been in this world for a year now. I rather be honest with you then trying to sugar coat things. What you do in this world is up to you" said Kail as he watched Kasa wrap the wolf pelt around her for comfort then warmth. Since this world might be a tad hard to adjust from her world. But it seemed again she might have come from a simular world he had hoped so the change may not be as rough on Kasa. But the other though in the blond's mind on what she could do with herself "Winter is almost over and soon it will be spring. So you might find some kind of job or something soon" he said just trying to use some kind of observation on what the girl had on hand. He was not that suited to give advice on what to do within this world. Since he himself was still trying to figure that out. Since he would constantly hide out in his workshop to make something. As he still felt very unsecure or be able to stand up to the majority of this world. As Kail was before coming and still some degree just a normal person compared to more powerful magical and semi divine beings.

Kasa stared at Kail as he explained the situation, giving him her undivided attention so she could absorb what happened to her. Thankfully he explained it simple enough, but she still found it hard to believe that she was actually in another world. She took in a long breath and broke her stare from after he gave her the seasonal forecast. What she could do in this strange place? She doubted she was the one to change the world's destiny. She didn't have that kind of power in her. He would notice she didn't have much on her. Just her satchel which had that wolf pelt and what looked like another pelt, a simple brown deer pelt. And on her hip she had her tomahawk. Since she was relaxing at home she wasn't exactly prepared for an inter-dimensional trip. She had no food, no water, and no spare clothes. She brushed her hand over the sheath of the tomahawk in thought. She supposed she could go back to hunting for coin. Or she could work in a tavern again, that job would be a more reliable way of getting income. She was so caught in her thoughts of what she was going to do herself she nearly missed the fact that he said he was bought in by this demi-god too. Good to know, maybe it would mean he'd be sympathetic to her and lend her a hand. She brought her hand from her tomahawk to rub the side of her neck where a horizontal scar ran. “Well, maybe this one can work at tavern, and do hunting on the side.” She said, hoping to get his thoughts. She brought herself to a stand. Her head feeling more clear now. She folded up the wolf pelt and carefully put it back into the satchel. She kneeled down by the fountain, cupping handfuls of water into her mouth to quench her thirst. She paused her drinking to look back at him, bringing her sleeve up to her mouth to dry herself off, “Ka-eel says that he has been here for year. So he was once like this one?” She asked, standing back up and returning to the bench to sit. “Also, thank you for just telling this one what is happening. She is is not fan of when people beat around bush.” She explains with a slight chuckle.
