The night always tastes like silver and dust. Estrella thought to herself as she perched silently above a closed rug store, a dark stretch of shadow cut against the moon. She was swathed in coal persuasions, a cloak in a dusky purple was time d around her slim neck, the hood oxyn dipped in the same shade of violet. Her shoulders were sheathed in a leather cut to flare out to a tip, and the inside panels were a dark black. Underneath, her budding chest was covered in deep purple leather vest, with straps and buckles from which throwing daggers hung. Black cotton became the sleeves and down material and she wore black metal bracers along her forearms. She paired this with slim leather pants with coal cotton panels running down the thighs and round the knee to better accommodate running. Her feet were clad in soft leather boots with silver buckles that made nearly no sound upon nearly every surface.
Around her slim waist was a belt with pouches and straps for her many vials, herbs and knives. Attached to the belt was a thin holster in which a delicate sword with a gold handle rest. The handle spread out to make a circular top, the gold here was a series of solid strands Weaving in and out to create such a dome. In hand and resting lazily against her slim shoulder was dark oaken staff made of four winding branches that were tightly wound at first to become a spout like structure near the top, the tips of the wood becoming a tip at one side and cut low in the next. Dark and four deactivated manna crystals were embedded along the length of the shaft, shining a vivid ruby once power ran through them.
Estrella was wont to stay up into the deep hours of the night, often astride the rooftops as she was now. The moon was glorious and nearly full, it was a bright pearl in the dark tapestry of night and though it's shining rays allowed a lightening effect to her sight, she could not technically view its glory.
Born blind when not using her natural powers, aside from the occasional viewing when she did, she rarely saw the true image of it. Her sight came from impressions-strong ones albeit-gained through a collection of heightened senses and the life fields around her. Each sound, every smell, and all tastes, vibrations, and the physical energy emitted by every being moulded together in her mind into a vision that went far beyond plain sight. She saw nothing and yet saw all.
Standing up her black eyes scanning the area that she could not see, they began to glow a fierce white as her inner strength awoken to allow her to slip away into the shadows. Her body and all attached become transparent and inky like the shadows and she lept from the building and fell into its overcast, using her Shadow Play spell to run along undetected. She leaped from dark spot to dark spot of each wall as she strayed from the moonlight before stilling and relinquishing her Manna. Her form came back into light as she stepped inside the moon's path, finding herself outside the library. A sound to her left caused her young pale face to whip around, her black bob of hair making a slight whooshing sound against her hood.
