The majority of the training grounds is shared by the Royal Stables. Often training's taking place in one of the larger pastures. The stables consists of had five sixteen stalled stables; two large tack and hay barns, and finally two large fifteen acre pastures. Many stable hands are employed to take care of the residences. One of the stables currently housing the Palico drakes; while the other stables house the personal mounts of the nobility which live in the castle. Other mounts have shelter they can find outside in the pastures.

The Barracks are long multi floored wooden buildings. The buildings are split up two for woman, and three for men. Newer recruits share large rooms with many bunk beds. Since recruits come and go. These rooms can hold up to twenty new recruits. More seasoned veterans will only share their room with one other person. High ranking officers, or those of noble birth have there own rooms.
