Serenity was simply strolling through the park, enjoying the sun, attempting to remain calm despite the tear in her lovely peach dress, when a light so bright she couldn't see, swallowed her whole. She used her umbrella to shield her eyes, but her attempt was futile, as next thing she knew, she was being thrown on her bottom onto a seemingly concrete floor, and the umbrella fell from her hand in the process. The light died out, and Serenity huffed breath after breath, completely disoriented.
Well I say! Talk about rude!
Her satin gloved hands were on the floor, on either side of her, her legs out in front of her. With one final puff of breath, she swiped the air out from her face, and fixed back into its neat twist on the back of her head, clipping it in place with what was left of her pins. She dusted the scuff off of her dress, and retrieved her umbrella again, closing it. Her face was pinched as she looked around, not at all liking her situation. She seemed to be inside some old temple of sorts. It looked dirty, completely unsanitary. She cleared her throat.
Heeellloooooooooo? She called out, expected someone to reply. She hadn't a clue where she was, but she surely couldn't be 100% alone. There was always someone around, either passing by or working. Either way, they were at her dispense and her service.
Would someone care to explain what the hell I just went through? And where on earth I am now!? By the end of her sentence, her voice was at a shrieking tone, impatient and tired. She tapped her foot while she waited, leaning delicately on her umbrella. Needless to say, she was completely out of her element, and quite uncomfortable.

Post by Mysteria on Jan 12, 2015 22:07:09 GMT
”Greetings my child, you need not fear” A calming female voice floated from the corner of the room; she was stunningly beautiful but odd at the same time. Mysteria was smiling politely at the strange woman that was calling out and making such a racket. Her long lavender hair fell down to the bottom of a richly embroidered navy thick coat. Her skin was pale like a dolls and wrapped up in black and purple silk. Only her shoulders and head were bare. She took a few steps forward her eyes twinkling in the dim light, a perfect melting pot of blue’s and purples.
" Fate has chosen a higher purpose for you... That is why you were brought here. I know you most likely are shocked and confused... However I will explain to you as much as I can. What you do from here on out though, is up to you... First of all, how rude of me of not introducing myself."
Mysteria curtsied and smiled. " Welcome to the World of Teair. And the capital neutral kingdom, which you are in, is called Nova. You may call me Mysteria, Advisor to the King of Nova, Noku Noru. You have been brought here to Nova by the will of the god of Destiny, Fate. Which classifies you here in this world as 'Fated'.... Just an FYI. I'm sure you'll hear civilians call you such a thing. " Mysteria gestured, popping her head to one side in almost a curious fashion as if waiting to hear some sort of response. She hoped that the transportation from where ever this poor soul had came from hadn't traumatized her for life and cause a mental break down of some sort. So she waited patiently with her hands clasped in front her.

Serenity turned to the sound of a voice so pleasant and sweet that her insides churned slightly. A woman whom Serenity could't doubt was amazingly beautiful, stood before her. Serenity listened to her, eyes narrowed, and hip popped out, still leaning on the umbrella, not liking what the woman was saying.
Fated? No no, there must be a sort of mistake. Serenity cleared her throat, and tossed her head arrogantly. I Am Serenity Caine, heir and head to my father, John Caine's company. I must be returned home at once! I demand you take me there! The words which the woman had said swirled within her mind. Teair Nova. the god of Destiny, Fate has chosen me to be here... Fated... It wasn't sitting well at all. She stopped leaning on her umbrella and took a step towards her, her eyes wide and fearful.
Take. Me. Home!

Kail had been curious about the gods after hearing so much about them from the people of Nova. He had wanted to know a lot more on them and one person had sudjested to him, about going to the Moon Temple. The blond had briefly remembered the place as it was the same place for the fated to show up. There was a slight amount of guilt as he never properly thanked Mysteria. At the time he was overweilmed at what had happened to him. So at the time he came off a bit rude. As he walked into the temple though he heard Mysteria's voice as well as someone else. The blond himself was dressed warmly as he could though as he was wearing some jeans. A heavy denim jacket with several long sleeve shirts underneath. He sees a normally dressed Mysteria and another woman. And seemed very much out of place like himself. Since she was wearing a very frufru dress and her accent and way she spoke.
And deduced from his memory at least she came from a Victorian era of earth. Or a steampunk world from the looks of things. Even then the woman was having a break down. Different then what he had experienced but similar, due to the fact that he was going to take advantage of the situation then wallow too much in despair. Kail made a loud cough to break things up for the two. "Excuse me for evesedropping on the conversation. But Miss Caine, what she says is true. We've unfortunetly been forced down the rabbit hole to chase after a white rabbit that we can not catch. I am like yourself a fated brought here" he said walking over to her.
"I know your from Earth, and at least some where from England. But what was the date before you left including the year please" he said and for Serenity though she could pick up his American accent as well as some of his attire.

Serenity jumped, startled by the sound of another voice, and looked over to see a man very oddly dressed approaching her. His words, mixed with the odd woman before her, sank in, and she stumbled back a bit, her umbrella no longer able to hold up her weight. Her head snapped up yet again when he spoke of earth, and her home.
What year...? 1854, that is the current year. She cleared her throat, and regained her composure, snapping out of her state up shock. She looked upon both the woman and the man with disdain.
You are correct, I am from England. And if what you say is true, then you too are from my world. But from a clearly... different time... Her eyes wandered up and down his body, eyeing his clothes. Men must dress funny in the future... She was assuming he was from a futuristic time period compared to her own. Just that thought alone made her feel crazy. She couldn't believe that all of this was true. That she was never going home... That she was stuck in this world, a world she knew nothing about, and filled with people who dress and acted so... odd.
And who are you? Her eyes were filled with superiority, though she actually held none.

"I'm Killian Lancaster and in truth Miss Caine. I'm 160 years into the future of earth. I was not sure if you were from my time and in a costume" said Kail as he rubbed the back of his head and composed himself. Since this lady would be a high maintenance case. Due to the fact of the time she came from and her social standing. "Life is going to be hard here. Since well....there are not any normal convinaces and your going to have to work hard for money. Plus some of your social standing it would be hard to adjust. Trust me.......I just recently killed a dragon. A bloody dragon, mind you it was still a child. But still" he said telling the high class lady that things were going to be hard.

Her eyes seemed to widen a bit more with every few words he spoke. 160 years...working, dragons...working? She let out a small gust of air.
First of all, let me assure you, this is not a costume. It is made of some of the finest fabrics in London! Secondly, I don't know who you think you are, telling me I will have to work. I have always been in charge of things, I've never had to lay a single finger down and actually work, and there is no way that's going to start now! She was simply being stubborn, she knew he was right. This was a new land, new people and a new way of life. That thought was slowly sinking into her head, but there was no way she would start working without exhausting every other option first. She decided to ignore the part about the dragon, her mind unable to fully wrap around that just yet. She did however, decide that this man, though poorly dressed, would be her escort for the time being.
Well, Mr. Lancaster, you seem to know a decent amount of information about this land. Would you be willing to show me to a place where I could learn for myself? She really just wanted to get out of this barren temple, and into the daylight. She picked a place at random in her head, though a place for information couldn't hurt.

Kail wanted to roll his eyes at Serenity but desided not to. For obvious reasons on her high horse on not lifting a finger to work. Or when she mentioned the faberics "Well....lets see here Serenity, there is a library. I've been there a few times to look things up. But with anything your going to have to experience the world its self. No amount of books can change that but this place would be a start" he said and then offers his hand like a gentalman would from that era. He was not sure where to take this but he had to admit the redhead was rather hot. But knew he could not make a pass on her. Due to the fact that she was a high maintenance girl that needed a lot of care. Unlike him, she was not really suited for this world. But he could not turn his back on her due to the fact that she was from earth and his reality. None the less he had a job to do with Serenity.

Serenity let out a sigh, becoming somber. No matter what he looked like, this man was only trying to help her, and she couldn't push that away, not now. After a moment Serenity nodded and walked towards him, taking his arm. He was from his world, he was the closest and only thing she would ever have of home, even if he wasn't from her time at all. She had to remember she was no longer in charge, no longer powerful. She was below everyone here. She gripped his arm, trying very hard to keep her composure at this point.
Thank you sir... I know I'm - well I'm not worth your helping me, not anymore. But regardless, I thank you. Her voice was low, slightly shaky. She would not cry, not here and not now, but she wanted to thank him. She looked at the ground, her dress slightly wrinkled, but oddly, it didn't bother her. Serenity knew she would have to adjust to this world, it was now just a matter of how well, and how fast.

Kail did not mean to come off to harsh but he did not want to sugar coat this at all. Since sweetened lies were far more worse in the long run. He then watches her come over and took his arm and it looked like she was holding on for dear life. The blond then hears her speak up and the tone was wavering as though she was about to let lose the water works. "Perhaps you need a place of rest, rather then a place to learn" he said and knew that perhaps going to the gardens would be a peaceful place for some solitude. But it was winter and Serenity did not have any clothes for that kind of weather. He was more then likely going to take her to the Gallows Inn and get her a room to settle down. But none the less though, Serenity was in a vunerable state and a lot of people could take advantage of her. So he had to play the bodyguard for now. He did hope that she could adjust to this world as it was not too bad in some places.

Serenity looked up at him, but after a moment she agreed. She would need to learn about this world and how to live in it, but she didn't need to do that now. She needed to find a place to sleep, to relax, and to take everything in. She didn't know how to thank this man- she'd never done much thanking in her life time, aside from the thanks she gave to those who worked for her, and rarely then.
This world would take quite a bit of adjusting, and Serenity didn't know if she had it in her. Not now, and possibly not ever. Do you know of somewhere I can go? I clearly don'y have a home anymore... She pushed that thought from her mind. Dwelling on all she had lost could certainly not help her situation.
