Kuro found himself waking up, and despite the woman that slept beside him, he treated this as a regular day. He thanked the gods that he woke up first, and his first instinct was to return his blade to his hand. He put on his underwear, then his pants, quickly grabbing his blade and making sure it was securely attached to his waist. After this Kuro put on his shirts, and pre-checked to make sure he had everything. He didn't lay in bed, pondering about things people usually ponder about after a night of nudity. Kuro then sat down back on the bed, his initial worries dissipated as his blade was returned to it's home. That was the most difficult part for Kuro, he was so addicted to the blades power that paranoia of something taking it when he is not looking ran his mind rampant.
He felt that he should wake up the big breasted beauty beside him, but then realized perhaps she would have a hangover. The thought actually made it more enticing. The blade confirmed this thought by saying. "Do it.." However, Kai disliked doing what the blade told him most of the time. He sat on the bed with his clothes, thinking of what was the next step he had to perform to continue to warp her mind. Kuro grabbed the leg closest to him and shook it, hoping it would be enough to wake her. She did ask for this after all.

Serenity felt herself waking up and a soft groan emanated from her throat. Her body gave in involuntary stretch and she opened her eyes to see Kuro sitting in front her of. She had to admit he was a little off. She didn't think much of it though, and sat up slowly with him, only half using the blanket to cover herself. Serenity pushed a few locks of hair out of her face, and the night before slowly made its way back into her mind. She'd been drunk but she'd been far worse before, and another thing she was happy to admit to herself, was when she knew someone would be good, she was rarely wrong, and last night, she was not wrong.
Her head had a slight pulse in it, but nothing that wasn't manageable, and she got up leaving the blanket behind and began to dress as he had, not caring much about him seeing her. It was one thing if she didn't want someone to see her, but if they already had, she didn't mind much. Serenity slipped on the crimson dress, doing up the buttons and ties where needed, then began combing out her hair with her fingers, leaving it down. It cascaded around her like a curly blanket out autumn leaves, and when caught in the sunlight, it glimmered as though it had morning dew in it - of course, it did not. Once finished with that, she looked back at Kuro, unsure of what was next. He seemed calm and collected so she had no doubt he had a plan. Serenity leaned up against a wall and waited for him to speak.

Kuro glanced at his bed companion, she was not yet dressed. He was slightly irritated with her slow rising, Kuro never had a problem getting up in the morning regardless to what had happened previously. When she seemed to finally have herself together he moved, opening the door. Kuro was not wasting much time, but gave her the benefit of the doubt this time. "Come," He spoke abruptly, expecting her to follow. Kuro made his way down the stairs, already having paid for the night he was able to walk straight out of the inn without much worry. Kuro looked towards the forest, first, despite the obvious lead he had Kuro needed to get a grip on what Sima was doing. He knew Sima quite well, and he could tell he would have spent time around the forests before entering the city.
By heading out there he could look for signs from something that only a demon could cause, and then he could leave something terrifying for Sima, Kuro's scent. "You should remove the dress, it's not best fitted for combat," That made another question pop into his head. "Are you even any good at combat?" He wasn't sure that training her for combat would be the best effort, as long as she could follow orders he could use her for other things. However, Kuro had to his part of the deal, it would improve his image upon her, and hopefully sink her deeper into his mind games. Kuro began heading towards the forest, already having a task for Serenity.

Serenity, without a word followed the man, down the stairs and away from the Inn. Once she saw he was heading towards the forest, her heart gave a little jump. She'd heard stories of that place, and she was rather afraid of it, not that she'd tell him. She looked down at her dress, and wondered what else she could change into, but decided it would have to wait until she had something else, she hoped he wouldn't mind. At his question she looked up- that was what she hoped he would teach her.
I've picked up a few things here and there, but nothing that you would really find useful, I will admit. Just basic. She spoke with confidence now, the alcohol no longer hindering her train of thought or the slur in her voice. Her accent made her voice ring loud and clear as they walked towards the forest, it was distinct and hard to forget. A reminder everyday that she was of the Fated.

Kuro made his way towards the forest. He glanced at her with a bit of anger when she spoke about having no notable skills for combat. So Kuro was right, she had no combat skills. It was more then likely not worth training her full out. but he could use her. Kuro knew he could use her to fool with Sima and his new companion. He could twist their emotions, get Sima and the blonde to fight, and then he would be able to finish it with something he knew Sima couldn't deal with. Kuro couldn't help but brandish a wicked smile for what he had in store for that demon. "I suppose we will have to teach you, Now that was the deal they agreed upon, but he didn't regard keeping his end of the bargain. If Kuro felt that she became a burden at any point, he would drop her like a bad habit. This was something he was notorious for doing.
"We will train you for a little bit, then you will do some errands for me okay?" This was yet another test, how willing was she so far to do something he asked. Would she believe it was for her benefit, as often teachers did things to benefit the student, not themselves.

Serenity smiled and quickened her pace to match his, falling in step with him. That sounds perfect. I would love to help you. She winked at him, giving the words a double meaning, but she didn't mind, for she had a feeling he'd know she was being serious about actually helping him. As long as he continued to teach her, she would be at his service for as long as he needed her.
They were getting closer to the forest, and Serenity did her best to keep her questions at bay, and walked along side him quietly. She had no intention of being the annoying sidekick for him, and decided most silence was the best option at this point in time. She did however ask one thing.
What is it you need me to do?

Kuro continued walking, noting her responses. Everything seemed to be working perfectly, their was no hiccups in his plan. He had a woman, or what was more important in his plan, the sight of a woman. Kuro had a man, which what was more important was the scent of a man. Kuro had most of what was necessary to make Sima's life a living hell. There were however a few problems that had to be addressed, the first was the location of Sima Oratio. The second was to address how to control the massive power he knew Sima had. Of course, Kuro was at a lack of knowledge, he had no clue that Sima's powers were affected during the world jump, so now things were different. Kuro now had the power that trumped Sima's without even realizing it.
"What I need you to do is irrelevant right now, first you need to focus on the task at hand." Kuro already had what he needed her to do planned out, it was very simple. Recon, find, and if possible, track Sima. This was something Kuro could not do, his scent would be recognized. Kuro knew however he needed this woman in 100% belief in Kuro's abilities. Once the two made it to the edge of the forest Kuro spoke up a little more about what they were doing out here. "First, do you have a weapon?" Kuro asked her, assuming that she did not, but she could be hiding quite a few things under her dress. Kuro was certain he would spot it, but if she surprised him it only made her a bit more useful.

Serenity cursed herself for not having purchased a weapon as of late, and shook her head looking away from him. She probably seemed useless to him, and she wouldn't be to surprised if he ended up ditching her not long from now. But she would take what she could get, and learn what she could. Speaking wasn't her best option at the moment, so she stayed silent and waited for more instructions. She had walked into this unprepared, and she was starting to regret this. Not her over all decision, but the fact that she was to drunk before to do this properly.
Serenity stayed a few feet away from Kuro, not knowing him well enough to how his reactions would be.

Kuro looked at her taking her silence as an answer. "Take this," He tossed her a short sword which he pulled quickly from underneath the shieth that held his black blade. "Pick it up, " His orders were precise and easy to follow. Kuro pulled his blade out, it rang into the distance. "Follow me, " His blade slid against the ground, yet it oddly made no noise, almost as if the ground refused to irritate the blade with some sound, as if that alone would make a difference. "Be silent, don't make a sound, If you fail we will be spotted, and then you will deserve a lashing." You could tell his voice was completely serious, and he wasn't talking in any sexual pre-tenses. He slid into the thick of the forest, his movement was oddly quiet, he held the chain of his blade in such a way that it even too was making almost no sound. He moved for 10 minutes through the forest, not speaking, and when he was done he stopped abruptly bringing his sword to the right as if to stop Serenity at that point. If she ran into the blade and cut herself, that would be her problem, and if the blade caught a taste for her blood in the process, then Kuro might not see a reason to keep her around.
Kuro thought this may be a bit too much already, but he needed her to be able to kill. Kuro knew the underground activity quite well, and this area of the forest was good for drug smugglers. Kuro already knew the people in front of him were exactly that, their formation, and their obvious thug charms. They were backbones, each holding a pouch at their side, with nice weaponry. Kuro knew that these men held a good amount of money in drugs, and it would be an easy score. It wasn't so simple as that however, but he would also get the attention of the local peddler, the higher up, the supplier. "Can you take them down?" To be honest Kuro wasn't expecting her to do to great, he expected her to use her appeals to her use of course, and would be able to catch the first one of guard, but perhaps the second wouldn't be so easy, and the third would certainly end things no? He would see, but could she even kill? Was she ok with killing.

She watched as he threw the sword in her direction. She watched as it fell to the grass, not making a sound besides the soft thud from the hilt. Serenity picked up the sword, testing it's weight with her arm, finding it to be a good weight for her. She looked curiously at his blade, sliding along the ground by his side, absolutely silent. It only added to the odd aura about him, but she pushed it aside. What he was like did not matter to her. If she got what she wanted, then that was most important. To anyone, she knew it would look like she was playing servant girl, but she knew what she was doing- in the long run, what she wanted would be obtained, and she would no longer need to act so uncivilized.
A moment later she began to follow Kuro, making sure to stay a good distance behind him. She picked her steps carefully, avoiding anything that would cause noise. She felt the seriousness in his tone, and really didn't feel like finding out if he was telling the truth. She'd be damned if she was going to let that happen. She managed to keep up silently, and stopped when he did, making sure not to hit the sword that was jut out in front of her.
She was stunned into more of a silence, her brain drawing a slight blank for a moment. He wanted her to kill them? Well this has escalated quite quickly now, hasn’t it? Serenity took a quiet breath, and observed the men once more with Kuro, taking them in. With one look at Kuro’s face, she could tell he didn’t expect her to get far, and at the back of her mind, she was agreeing with him. There was no way she would have done this back in London- but she wasn’t in London anymore, and she needed to adjust to that. In preparation, she tucked the short sword in the lacing at the back of her dress- easy access, though she was likely to slice through it when pulling the sword back out, but it wasn’t to big of a deal, hiding the sword was more important. Having that done, she messed up her hair some, and pushed her chest up a little, before waltzing out of their hiding place without a glance at Kuro.
Serenity walked up to the first man, doing what she knew was expected of her, and using her “charm” to lure him away from the view of the other two, and while he was distracted by her mouth, she raised her hands and put them both to his throat, squeezing until he stopped struggling, and using her mouth to make sure he stay quite the whole time. She felt a little gross after that, but she shook it off and headed towards the second, pulling the sword out from behind her dress as he noticed her, slicing the ribbon as she had assumed it would. As he ran towards her, seeing the sword, he made obvious noise that alerted the third man, making things rather difficult from here on out. When the second man reached her, she feigned apology, raising her hands, not dropping the sword. As she predicted, he was looking at her chest, and as most men did, assumed he would have his way with her, as he was going to kill her anyway. Once he was close enough, she slashed her arm out and slit his throat, but had to move away right after or she;d be crushed by his fall. The third man was yelling now, coming at her quite fast, knowing not to fall for what the other two did. Though she was fast, she wasn’t fast enough and he was able to get quite a few scratches in before she pushed him off of her, and stabbed him in the chest.
Now her dress was torn and barely wearable, her hair full of grass, and blood on her arms and neck from where the man had nicked her. She did better than she though, and she was actually quite pleased with herself, though she knew very little talent had been involved, and purely luck. She stayed where she was now, sitting in the grass, knowing it would only be moments until Kuro appeared, no doubt having a sarcastic remark about what she had done. She was breathing quite heavily, and pushed the hair out of her face.
You can stop hiding now and come out. I've clearly proven something now, haven't I? There was no real tone to her voice, as she was to out of breath to add any sarcasm, though it was implied.

Kuro made his way around the groups who attention was on the woman in front of them. She did exactly what he expected, a little surprised at when she pretended to give up. Kuro could tell she had a knack for thinking on the spot, yet that plan was a little flawed. If that person heading towards her had half a brain he would have demanded her to drop the blade. Once the men were dispatched he saw no reason concealing himself, this was her job, he was merely there to observe. When Kuro did emerge from the bush he was already in a position for flanking the men that came at Serenity. He just glanced over to her on the ground, noting the condition of her clothes. "I like your clothes much better now," This wasn't exactly a lie, but he doubted she would see anything but sarcasm in his voice. Kuro headed towards the one farthest from Serenity. He pulled his blade, quickly jutting it into the man's chest. The only sign of anything happening was the condition of the man's skin. After a few seconds he began to prune up as if the blood was being devoured from within his body. After doing this for a brief moment he pulled the blade out, yet it was clean, no blood to be found. He did this with each body, searching them for the desired money, and loot.
"You did well, even with a dress that encumbers you." By complementing her more he was hoping to increase her want for acceptance, more then he already seemed to have. So this time the compliment sounded sincere, but even so it wasn't because he thought she did well at all, but because he wanted to raise his image higher for what Serenity perceived. She killed without asking questions, she followed orders almost to a fault, Kuro only needed her to see him as something she would never harm, and then he would feel she was greatly useful, despite lack of skills, greatly helpful. Kuro already begun a plan that would hopefully raise his image as something she cared for, despite his feelings towards her being less than admirable. "Stand up, you should feel happy, our goals were met." Every word he spoke was meant to increase the bond between the two, however to him the bond was a ruse, something to manipulate, the goal was to get her to believe there was a bond. His words tailored to subconsciously add a weight to his word inside her mind, our, us, instead of speaking similar, something tiny that most people overlooked, but overtime gave a sense of weight of relationship, as if she meant something to him.

She watched him carefully, deciding not to move until he was finished looting. She scoffed at his first comment, and looked down at her mess of a gown. It was torn in many places, and what was already a revealing dress, was now more of tease than anything else. She’d need to change soon, she didn’t think so low of herself as to walk around like this for long. The skirt too, had been torn, making it so it ended more at her calves than her ankles. Not a big deal here, she was sure, but in London, she’d have stayed to the shadows.
She became confused as she watched what his blade did to it’s victims, but kept her mouth shut as she’d previously decided to do. She picked grass out of her hair, and decided to stand, taking the sword with her. She shook her head at his second comment. She was aware of their situation- he was using her to get what he wanted, and vice versa. She was no stranger to manipulation, she’d used it all the time to further her company back home. Making someone feel like they meant someone to you was one of the best ways, they’d do nearly anything.
Kuro you can cut the act. She’d decided simply telling him would be fine, nothing would change in her perspective. She’d help him regardless, after all she had just killed three men for no reason at his call.
Where I come from, what you’re trying to do isn’t uncommon. In fact it was something I did all the time. I am not going to love you, nor am I going bond with you. I am here because I want something from you, and you allow me to be here for the same reason. That fact will not change until we both receive what it is we want, that was the deal and I intend to complete that. Her tone was bored, tired of him attempting to manipulate her when she could see right through it.
I know what is expected of me, clearly. So from now on, if you don’t mind, just tell me what to do and I’ll do it. Enough of this bonding crap. It was bad, she knew, that words were considered bonding in comparison to what they had done the previous night. If he asked for that, she would still comply, knowing it wouldn’t mean a thing. After all, it was good for her as well, so who was she to complain?

Kuro smiled at her outburst. She had more brains than he thought, so her tits were not of a replacement of that. He laughed, raising his left hand to conceal his mouth in doing so. He couldn't help it, she was so blind. It was true she saw an act, one that was easily seen through. He thought it was funny that she seemed to assume that was the only way to get this 'bond'. Of course it would be difficult, and they would probably be at odds as far as she was concerned. However regardless, Kuro would have his way. Knowing that she would do what he said was good, but having a back up was better. Kuro would be able to make him god to her, as far as he was concerned, but that took time, and he did not have all the time in the world. If this meant things had to be sloppy, so be it, but he would keep her around. There were a few things she failed to notice in her outburst, and it only made Kuro have an even harder time to keep his excitement from showing. As long as she didn't realize this key feature, Kuro would have the upper hand. He stopped laughing and regained control of himself. "That was great, I haven't laughed that hard in quite some time."
Kuro eyes stopped looking into hers, almost as if his speech was cut off. "Insolence" The blade spoke within his head, silent to the woman infront of him. A ringing sound so irritating that Kuro could swear his ears were bleeding ringed into his head. "KILL, EXAMPLE," The blade was mortified that something so lowly could talk back to it, despite Kuro having full control of his body, his power did come from the sword, and that meant he had to keep it happy, at least happy enough anyways. The blade was not much for planning, but Kuro needed this woman for what he planned to do with Sima, so that meant killing her was off the table, yet he still had to please the blade, meaning he could not let her shout at him so, at least with the blade being so ignorant to Kuro's thoughts. Kuro raised the black blade quickly to her throat, centimeters away with pinpoint precision.
"Realize this, I have what I want already, you are here for pleasure alone, if you get what you want then so be it, but there is nothing keeping me from driving this blade through your throat," It wasn't the best speech, but it worked, it was what he came up with on the spot, but the blade seemed to be pleased that Kuro did not take her talking up to him so lightly, although it would make his job harder, it pleased the blade, and he could move easier now. He still kept the blade pointed at her, a dead stare in his eyes. You looked into his eyes, and you could see death, not death for Serenity, but that something had died in Kuro himself. "You are disposable, and the only reason you are here at all is because it entertains me." His arm twitched slightly, as if Kuro himself had to hold the blade back from thrusting toward her throat. At least this wasn't considered bonding, Kuro knew it was out of the area of what he wanted to accomplish, but it was the least he was able to do to keep the blade happy.

Serenity was caught off guard by his outburst, not understanding why he was laughing. She rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. The sword he had given her was still firmly in her hand, and she intended to keep it that way. She glanced at Kuro in time to see the sudden change in his face and stepped back enough that when the blade shot out to her throat, it was barely touching her. She would be lying if she said it didn't stun her, but for some reason, she didn't fear him. She remained still, believing he would indeed kill her, but the rest she ignored, not really caring much for being someones entertainment.
She looked into his eyes and saw nothing, literally nothing and so she shrugged everything off. Using the sword in her hand she pushed the blade away from her throat, and moved away, glaring at him.
Fine, I'm disposable. But don't think for a second that I care what you think, or that I will tolerate you treating me like crap either. I don't need you for what I want, I chose you. If I'm so disposable, then find someone else to help you find that guy. She started to walk off, not really caring for this game anymore. She didn't intend to leave just yet, but was curious to what his reaction here would be. If he decided to stop her, she'd help him longer. If not, then she'd simply have to find someone else. What she wanted from him, was not worth dying for.

The blade was horrified at the way the woman treated it. The blade treated Kuro, and itself as a whole, as long as a stronger host wasn't spotted, a stronger host with more to offer than Kuro. It took the woman's words as insults, and it took action, by telling Kuro to take action, in a way that made Kuro's mind pointless, it was no longer Kuro driving the body forward, but the blade's own spirit and rage. The easy tell was that of the eyes, that went from a light red to a dark black. When she turned around their was no thought, there was only drive. The blade did not care that she was a woman, the blade did not care what she thought. IT only wanted blood. With inhuman amounts of speed he darted towards her, so fast that she may not be able to register his motion. Within that same second the blade dug towards her legs, aiming at the section behind the knees, where it was soft, and it dug in enough to cause severe damage, but not sever the muscles. This was due to the blade, when something treated it as such it treated them with pain.
The blade even cut in a direction so that when she began falling she would spin, landing on her back. Kuro now stood overtop of her, but the blade ran the motions. Only now did Kuro recover control of his own body, the blade was curious as to how he would react. The easy tell of the switch is the black eyes returning to their red state. He looked down, understanding what the blade has done. Perhaps she was useless now, it was time to kill her. He brought the blade down towards her, no emotion, she would die, regardless of the night she spent with him. As he begun to bring the blade down to her chest an arrow flung by hitting the blade causing just enough motion to cause it to move upward, and land just beside her head, clipping a little bit of hair in the process. Kuro cursed in his mind, but felt that braking her might be an option, if she was to still do what he said. "You want to learn from the best, don't you?" This reasoning was due to Kuro's more human nature. He was greedy and full of lust, he wanted Serenity, he also was gullible, he fell for her little charade, and in fact if she played things correctly she could do the opposite and play Kuro the fool. Kuro also was angered easily, and wanted to prove his superiority. Had that arrow not came in and gave the situation hope, Kuro wouldn't have been affected by these more human thoughts.
Within a matter of seconds, Kuro turned towards the arrow that shot him. The man tried to call while shooting another arrow towards Kuro, "T-" Kuro moved so swiftly it was almost hard to see his motions, and he deflected the arrow easily, bringing the blade upon the mans body so quickly that it fell apart only after he stopped slashing it. The cuts were so oddly clean, and with lack of blood, that it was as if someone cut it perfectly. Five other men came abroad the horizon, resembling that of the smugglers. "He killed our smugglers," One called, not even noticing the real killer of the first three, Serenity, however Kuro didn't care for the numbers. They were easily dispatched, one by one. One man was lucky enough to actually hit Kuro with an arrow, causing his tainted black blood to show. However each man was dead, all but one, who simply ran from the maniac named Kuro, all this within 30 seconds, and Kuro ripped the arrow from his shoulder, the black blood flowing down his arm. He then walked casually back to the woman that was initially his target for death. "You won't become feared learning from anyone else,"
