Weapons and Modeling (Amiee/Malpheena)

Gabriel woke up in the Gallows like any other day but today decided he would probably go and buy a weapon that was sturdier than his current staff. Its been a few days after going shopping with Amiee and meeting Malpheena in the Merchant Distract. As he started walking down the stairs he noticed Amiee cleaning the tables and walked up to her “ Hello Amiee, your working early today it seems.” Gabriel said with a smile as he remembered Amiee would probably want to join him to go to the Merchant District again. “ By the way, did you want to come with me to the Merchant District again? I was planning on buying a weapon there and I remembered you promised Malpheena at the Toy Store you would help her with one of the designs. “ Gabriel stood still with his sack and waited for an answer.



While waiting for an answer Gabriel took a seat on one of the chairs and checked his sack to make sure he brought everything he needed and also prayed in his head that the weapons were fairly cheap. Seeing how he still doesn’t have a permanent job. Most of the money he made was through hunting every few days or so and selling the materials in the marketplace.

Amiee had gotten up early for once it was mostly so that she could listen to the music box. She placed her new stuff cat next to the one her papa had gotten her as a midwinter present. Quickly getting ready for the day she was downstairs had the tavern sweep and was wiping down the tables when Gabriel came down the stairs. "Good Morning Gabriel." Hearing that he would be going to Miss Phee's shop or at least in the area later that day she thought for a second. She did inform her father when she had gotten home the other day about the request for her to model for a new doll.



"Yep I will come, just me a few moments to get ready and let papa know." She said before throwing her rag back into the bucket and running up the stairs. She finally came down dress in the dress that Aria had gotten her with white ribbons in her hair to complete the outfit. Before leaving she ran into the kitchen cutting a cutting a piece of the bread off while also informing the cook to let her father know that she was going to be at the toy store. Walking out as she nibbles on her piece of bread, her little coin purse on her hip in case she wanted to grab a snack later before coming home. "Okay, I am ready now."

Gabriel waited at the seat as he saw Amiee asked Calix and went upstairs to change, as she was doing that Gabriel was day dreaming and thinking on the type of weapon he would actually get. As he was thinking he realized that Amiee was dressed and stood next to him asking if he was ready to go. “Thats good we can head out now then hopefully its not to crowded over there.”

After saying that Gabriel stood up and carried his sack as he accomanied by Amiee left the Inn and started heading towards the Merchant District. After walking through multiple areas and roads they reached the merchant district as gabriel walked around trying to find the weapon store as he walked around and would walk around some of the people on the street. Before he realized it he was standing next to the Toy Store owned by Malpheena. Looking at Amiee “ Guess we’ll go and say hi to phee first hm? And hopefully she’ll be able to do that doll right?”

Amiee walked alongside Gabriel as they made they way from the Inn to the Merchant district. She did wonder sometimes if this what having an older sibling was like 'cause if that was the case then she wouldn't mind if Gabriel became her older brother. She didn't even notice then they reached the toy store until he mentioned it. Nodding her head at going inside and saying hi to Miss Phee. "Are you going to leave me here then go to the weapon store?" Once she got an answer she would push the door letting the little bell ring.



"Good Morning Miss Phee."Calling out, while her eyes looked around the little kitten that she left there the day before wondering if the cat had stayed out of trouble for the first evening in a nice warm home.

Phee had finished setting up the chair that she would have Amiee sit in for the sketches, though she would take a few basic measurements for scaling the doll to the right size. While she waited for Amiee to show up she took the time to make a little house for the kitten, making sure there was enough room for her when she got bigger providing she stayed around here.

She heard the bell on the door chime and it was followed by Amiee's voice, "I'm back here Amiee." She called out and figured that Amiee would be able to find the attached workshop easily enough. The kitten was all curled up in the blanket she put in there for it. She stood up and straightened her clothes. She gave Amiee a smile, "Thank you for helping me with this Amiee, I'm sure the doll will be a hit with the girls in the city."

Gabriel was walking besides Amiee as she asked the question to him “ well first i’ll say hello to Phee first afterwards if you want me to leave you with her for some time I’ll go to the weapon store alone if not i’ll stay until you're done” Looking at Amiee as they went through the door they were instantly greeted by a familiar voice “ Good Morning Miss Phee, I was accompanying Amiee to your store I hope you don’t mind” Gabriel said as he stood next to Amiee and looked at them both for a second.





Wondering what he would do he looked around the workshop and wondered what most of the things were. And walked towards a corner to lean on and relax a bit while he watched what Amiee and Phee were doing.

Looking up at Gabriel her eyes widen as she blinked a few times while pouting. She didn't want him to leave her alone so soon. "Stay a bit pleeease." She said drawing out the last word. "After you see that I am okay you can go to the weapon store and come back."



Hearing Miss Phee's voice Amiee headed in the direction the voice was coming from. Entering the workshop she looked around in awe seeing all the gadgets and the some of what looked like to be unfinished toys. Her eyes did turn towards the kitten seeing that it seem to be sleeping in a little house on it. It looked cute and Amiee did hope that the kitten kept it promises to not cause any trouble for Miss Phee.



"You are welcome Miss Phee. I am happy to help." She said giggling a tiny bit excited to get started.

Phee stood up and smiled at Amiee and Gabe, "Nothing to worry about, you are her escort are you not? Wouldn't be right if you didn't make sure she got where she was supposed to go." With that said she turned to look at Amiee and lead her into the workshop a bit further, there was a stool and some paper and charcoal for her to do sketches on.

She picked up her measuring tape first as she needed to measure limb length and height to make sure she could get the right size ratios for the doll. "First things first we need to measure your height, arms, and legs so I can make sure the doll looks correct." Her tone of voice was warm and calm but she seemed to be a little different than yesterday as she was working so various other things were going through her head. She wasn't so worried about bust size or anything as the doll wasn't going to be overly correct on anatomy. It was something for kids after all not something for some perverted nobleman. Not that she would ever make something like that in the first place.

Amiee followed Phee to where the stool and wondered if this was how some of the nobles felt when they got they portrait done. Hearing Phee mention that she needed to take her measurement of her height, arms, and legs. It makes sense if she wanted the doll to look like her she needed to have proper measurements. Nodding her head she reminded standing and extended her arms so that she was standing in a T position so that it would be easier to get the measurements that day. "Miss Phee did you always want to make toys?"

Phee took the measurements easily enough as it just had to be a general measurement of each. When asked if she had always wanted to make toys she smiled a little bit, "I grew up in the shop and always liked seeing the other kids smile when they got one of my dad's toys. So I took over when he got too old to do it anymore, his hands started to fail him." She left it at that and sat down with a sketch pad and worked on a basic humanoid figure before correcting it for her measurements to make the proportions correct. "Was there a color you would like the dress to be for the doll there hun?"
