The day after he was accepted into the arch by the headmaster he made a b-line for the libraries on hand. He knew his powers weren't working they way they had in his old world. This place might provide clues to correcting that issue as he learned to navigate this world a bit better. He still only had the one outfit so he was wearing it again and even had his sword and staff on him since he was a bit wary of his new surroundings. Mages were used as tools back where he came from and they were highly competitive amongst each other on top of that.
He pulled the stone he had made the day before and made a decision on what to research first. Giving it the command to show him the way to what he was seeking at that moment. In this case, he was looking for the history of magic for this world and how it came into being and just about anything he could find on its nature. He plucked a book from the shelf that resonated with what he was looking for strongly and then wandered off to find a place to sit down and read through the book. He took the time to mark the section the book came from so he wouldn't need the inscribed rock to find where to put it once he was done.
The table he chose was a smaller one that was in a place where he could keep an eye on most of the approaches towards him due to the paranoid nature that had been drilled into him his entire life. He took his time to read the pages carefully since some of it wasn't quite the same as the translations back home and he had to do a bit of deductive reasoning as to what the exact translation was. At least this would keep his mind sharp, his body being kept sharp would come at a later time when he had found a place that would be suitable to use for his own practice and for training in more advanced techniques when he had a class to teach.

Jeon had finally compiled his notes on magical plants throughout the region. His goal was to investigate plants that had been thoroughly researched by other mages. His favorite part of the trip was finding a field of fall flowers that radiated a luminescent blue instead of its normal bright orange. He had been able to collect some, sketch, and make observations about their habits. He was headed to the library to double check some of his notes against other scholars, and then take it to a board of peers to review. This is what he lived for.
Stepping confidently into the library, he aimed for the row that he thought he could find the right books. He also wanted to grab a book on how to extract the seeds from the all flowers so that he could plant the blue species in a garden. He had had some difficulty while out in the wild.
While on his way to the eye an olive coat caught Jeon's eyes. It was a person he had never seen before, which seemed odd because the gentlemen had an older appearance and Jeon knew most of the older students and teachers at the arch. When he got a glimpse of his face he couldn't ignore the man's eyes. They were a rich brown, and Jeon could swear they were glowing gold--smack into a chair, tumbling, face first toward the ground. Jeon pushed his hands out and a giant gust of wind shot him up and he awkwardly landed on his legs while holding onto the side of a table. His notes flew everywhere across the room, along with any student's papers that were nearby. Jeon had acted instinctively. Some students had been knocked out of their chairs and some were running around grabbing their papers. Words were muttered under their breaths. Jeon looked around with a face of concern and kept bowing at everyone while speaking forgiveness.

Melda Delsaran Vanya Melda liked spending some time in the library, it gave her time to either catch up on her own reading, to research new material for her class. So far things had been going well, no one had been overly disruptive in them, but only time would tell. She was sitting in one of the nicer chairs in the library, her legs crossed infront of her as she read from a rather heavy leather bound book. Her grown settled around her gracefully, a lovely bundle of pink and peach fabric. The gown was simplistic for her style, a slim cut dress of sheer fabrics layered together to cover her form. The neck line went just above her collarbone, and the sleeves cut off just under her shoulders. Off each shoulder blade, was a strip of more sheer fabric, falling down to the hem of the dress. Along the bodice and the skirt was a lovely tree branch embroidery made in silvers, light pinks and baby blues. It was a bit more cheerful than usual for her, but none the less it looked beautiful on her. Her normally tightly wound hair was half down today, cascading down her back and over her shoulders softly, while the other half was braided back into a lovely complex bun.
She was rather peaceful until a loud crash caught her attention. She closed the large book, placing it on the table beside her, and stood up, thinking it was a rowdy student. She walked over to the source of the noise, and to her surprise, she found the opposite of a rowdy student. My my… You never cease to make an entrance Jeon… Melda mused lightly, standing a few feet away as the young man collected himself and his belongings. She watched curiously as he seemed entranced by another man not far away from them, and she took looked there. She knew him as one of the new instructors, but she’d yet to meet him.

Arthas saw the man trip and watched him cast a spell to correct himself. Barely able to put a hand on his papers in time to keep his notes in place unlike some of the poor students in the library. An annoyed sigh passed his lips as he waited for the last of the air bursts to subside, marking his place in the book he was reading for his research project. He heard a woman speak to the man who just cast the wind based spell in the library calling him Jeon. His eyes turned gold and glowed as he activated his aura filter visual rune. Finding that neither of them were marked with the manna of a fated.
The gold faded away and he set his book down and collected papers that were near him and left them on the end of the table he was sitting at. "Can we please try not to use elemental spells in the library?" he asks before taking his seat again and cracking open the book to the marked page and resuming his reading. While he was labeled one of the school's instructors he was taking time to read up on the methods of how to use manna that were taught here to gather knowledge he needed under the guise of making sure he can properly teach his magic to the students who already attend the school.
