Diamond was casually browsing the stalls in the market district as of right now he did not have much to do. Taking the next few days to relax and enjoy himself. While getting use to the area. Browsing most of the shops to see there wares while seeing the prices of what they sold them at. Although he was looking at some places where they sold some crystals. As he needed them to use the magic he was taught with. Since he tapped into various crystals and gemstones to use various magical powers. He needed a few other colored crystals as he was running low on what he had. Plus if he were to train this magic he would need them anyway. For the most part he hoped to gain some cheaper stuff with some lower quality stuff. But if he could find a high yielding crystal such as a diamond. After what he was named after cheaply it would be well worth it.
But so far no such luck for him as he was not able to find such a shop for himself. Although if he came across a nice weapon or magical item. He would be rather happy with that as well.

Lia’s last luggage bag decided to finally fall apart. It served many trips to the Crystal Springs when she had to leave the city. Honestly, she should have been glad that it lasted as long as it did. However, she was about to leave the city in a few days for an entire week, so she needed to find a new bag to replace it.
Merchant district was full of just about every type of good, but as large as it was, it was easy to get lost. Now, Lia was standing around a bunch of places selling overpriced gemstones. While they were very pretty, they weren’t anywhere close to what she was looking for. Now, how did she get to someplace more practical. Let’s see… if she could find which direction to the harbor, she could hopefully reorient herself. Trying to wave down a man, she asks, “Excuse me, sir? Do you know which way to the harbor from here?”

Diamond finally finds the gemstone shops but was a bit shocked at there prices. That was until he was stopped by someone, to his ironic surprise it was that pink haired dancer. Once at the tavern and then again at the mall. "I apologize miss, but I am new to Nova and I don't have my barings yet. So in truth I am just as lost as you. " he said being rather honest. As he then thinks for a second "Sorry if this is odd but. I keep running into you a lot though, even though we have not really met each other. I saw you at the Bloody Mary and the ball a day ago. I think" he said and then rubs the back of his head a bit. Trying to make some conversation with the lady in front of him. Diamond did have to wonder if they would keep meeting like this.

Lia looks around again as the white-haired male admits to also being lost. She isn’t sure why she does that since it most certainly won’t get her unlost. “Well, damn. This is what I get for wondering the Merchant’s District, I suppose. I’m guessing you wouldn’t know where to get a good luggage bag around here either.”
She strains to try to remember him as he says they have passed by each other a few times. However, she can’t really recall him. Both places had large crowds, and she was focused on other things. She shakes her head. “Sorry. I was at both places, but I can’t say I recall you. However, if you don’t mind me asking, what did you think of my performance at the Winter Ball?”

"I think I saw a stall back that way. I can take you to it" offered Diamond as he heard the lady was looking for something. It was a shame that she did not remember him. But could not blame her as she was performing for a lot of people both times he met her. "Your performance was amazing and I've been around the world for a while. So you put other performers to shame" he said to well brighten the Lia's mood. Since it looked like today was not her day to be shopping at all. And Diamond himself was in the same boat as her as well on some items. "I should introduce myself though, I'm Diamond Corsica. And you are miss" he said trying to break some more ice while dogeing some people.

Lia smiles as he says he knows a stall. Well, perhaps she would still end up getting what she was looking for after all. “Thank you,” Lia says before following him. “You’re too kind. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m not going to lie… I was hoping that would have attracted the king’s attention, but it seemed that was not in the cards.” As he introduces himself, Lia sticks at a hand for a handshake, “Thalia Anwen. However, Lia is what I tend to go by. So you said you weren’t from the city, did you just come in for the Winter Ball and Champion’s Calling then?” Those were immensely popular events, so it would make sense if they attracted a lot of people from outside the city walls.

Diamond shakes Lia's hand with his unarmored hand "In all honesty I forgot about those events. I've spent several years in combat with a mercenary company. So I can't keep track of everything from going place to place. I might do the Champions Calling to see where I stand with other warriors and fighters" he said and lead Lia to the stands that were selling the luggage bags. He had a smaller bag but it was all that he needed. But he guessed with a dancer like Lia that she would need a larger one to hold all of her clothes and costumes for performances. "I came for travel and some work. Someone told me something big was happening. Maybe that guy was talking about that Champion's calling" he said and paused for a moment of thought.
"Are you a traveling performer or part of a performance troop here in the city" Diamond asked as he brushed some hair out of his face. As the wind blew a bit messing it up a bit.

Diamond… an interesting name for an interesting person. “Ah… Which company? My father worked in one.” Lia knew the names of a few. Some were more reputable than others. It would give a decent understanding of who this person was though.
She smiles as the luggage bags come into sight, but turns back to Diamond as he mentions his friend inviting him down. “Hmmm… something big. Champions Calling does indeed draw a crowd. I take it you’ve never seen it before? Seven days of fighting, and at the end, the winner gets blessed with a gift by a god… Honestly, though, I take that time to take a vacation elsewhere though. The Springs are pretty peaceful during that time of year.” There was no way anyone could keep here in the same city as Helena. Besides, watching people devote themselves to the amusement and service to beings that didn’t really need or deserve it was frustrating.
She’s a bit surprised when he asks about her. “The latter. But I have left the city before. I’ll probably be back to doing shows at the end of tournament. Probably at the Bloody Mary.”

"I don't know even if the Crystalis is a well known one. We travel all over so I can not be for sure if our name has been spread by word of mouth all over. But we do decently" Diamond said as he watched Lia look through everything. She then goes into more detail and could not blame the dancer. As it seemed like a very brutal event for this place. So some people would be squeamish with the violence or be intertainment for the gods. To be playthings for a higher power that was above them. "I can understand if you wanted to get the heck out of doge. I would assume that it would attract a lot of rowdy people" he said and then heard about her plans with going back to do shows.
"Er by the way, did you see any crystals that were particularly cheap? I need them to use a particular form of magic" he said and was not sure if there were decent places or that the prices were the norm of the area.

Lia closes her eyes trying to recall the name. “Crystalis… No, I can’t say I’m too familiar with your work. I’m guessing a smaller company then. No more than 50.” She glances over at Diamond before looking back at the bags, “Actually, I’m going to guess around 20. That’s small enough to travel a lot. Mostly taking jobs for minor nobles in smaller towns on the countryside. Am I warm?” she jokes.
“I can deal with rowdy people. I just…” Saying she didn’t like gods wouldn’t be wise. “People say it is a good opportunity for performers, but you kind of get forgotten as soon as the next round of fights start. It’s a lot of headache for not a lot in return.”
Lia shook her head at the mention of crystals. “Never seen crystals run cheap. However, if you go to the Forever Forest, you might be able haggle with the miners up there. You’d be cutting out the merchant who probably puts a decent markup on them.” Eventually, she sees the perfect bag. Pretty green color with a lot of space and pockets.

"Close and your by 15, we are about 35 er 34 now since I left. We sometimes go into the far east. I learned a lot when I was out there, plus meeting a lot of interesting characters. But for the most part your correct" Diamond said and chuckled a bit as remenist on a particular adventure that took place. But sighed a bit and shook his head and it seemed that there was something else but did not push it. He guess that it was something dealing with the gods and goddess. "That's true....I guess its similar to when a lord is trying to hier my company" he said trying to at least relate with Lia. He then hears about not going to the sellers but go directly to the mines in the Forever Forest. That would be something he should check out later.
"hhhhmmmm, do you know anyone that went out that way" he asked since it was getting colder and it felt like it would snow soon. Plus he wanted to meet other people and make some contacts with others.

Lia smiled at how close she was. She was still good at this evidently or perhaps she just couldn’t forget all those conversations that she had with her father about this kind of thing. “I can imagine. I hear life outside city walls can be a bit more lawless.”
She took the bag to the merchant and paid for it. Inspecting it one more time, it seemed that this would be suitable for her trip and however many trips to come. She could probably put a weeks worth of things in there without much issue. She looked back up at Diamond as he asked if she knew anyone headed that direction. Shaking her head, she says, “No. I don’t think the mine is too deep into the Forever Forest though… With a good map, you could probably travel there yourself.”
