The Fall of Nova

The Fall of Nova
The battle was a turning point in Nova's dominating power. The Rebel groups that split off and left the kingdom after crippling its economy by setting fire to the buildings and farms, killing the livestock. The Rebel army was able to injure the king, which was their victory and success in escaping the capital to establish their own kingdoms outside of Nova's borders.
The Beginning of The Fall
Blain Noru became sick in the head during his 8th year of rule over the Capital kingdom of Nova, the only kingdom established in the province of Nova in the world Teair. The beginning stages of the war began after mass executions by the King. The people fearful of the king's behavior fell into a lull of dread and silence turning Nova into a violent place. The guards were unjust and cruel to the civilians and King Malcolm turned his head and rejected his people. He began worshiping Zeapon and began praying for a cure for his 'boredom'. This did not settle well with some and soon two secret rebel organizations were formed. The first group being lead by a man name Robert Palico, who wished to overthrow the Noru family and establish his own kingdom. The second group was lead by a man named Thaddeus Kanto, who wished none other than to leave Nova and establish his own kingdom outside of Nova's borders. Both Rebel groups came together and fought against the guards and Novian Loyalist soldiers for twelve long years.
The End of the Fall of Nova
After 12 long years of fighting among brothers, families and friends. The two rebel groups lead by Robert Palico and Thaddeus Kanto, finally were able to raise enough followers to set fire to the Lower half of Nova's third district. The entire district going in flames and reaching up to the second and 1st before finally reaching the castle. Once the fire had reached the castle, most of the civilians had fled the kingdom and watched as their homes burned to the ground. Malcolm Noru, asked Mysteria to show her worth and the worth of the magic guards that she had helped established as his newest Adviser. The Magic Guards were able to put out the fire at the castle and the rest of the districts by using water magic. However, most of Nova was lost to the flames that the rebels had left behind. Thaddeus devastated had the surviving civilians rebuild the kingdom while he became bed ridden due to major burns from the fire.
