Following the day after her encounter with the thieves and with several break-ins, Tres spent her day checking the locks on her front and back doors, and ensuring that the enchantment that was set upon the doorknob on the door at the bottom of her stairwell was still in tact from when she had first purchased and refurbished her home. Once she was finished after her long day of lock checking, she wandered into her new greenhouse and picked a few white flowers with a yellow buds from a plant made to help those who sleep restlessly, sleep. She collected a few flowers as well as buds from the chamomile plant. When she had had her pickings in a bowl, she wandered back into her home, locked the front and the back door to the infirmary, she then made her way upstairs to get ready to go to bed. Tres placed the bowl on the counter in her kitchen, then head up to her loft bedroom and changed into a white cotton full-length nightgown. The nightgown had short sleeves, with a deep v-neck scooping down, which was tied together at the front with a little ribbon. The dress was embellished with lace along the edges of the dress and looked something like this. When Tres had finally gotten into her pajamas, she made her way over to the kitchen and filled the kettle with water, then placed it over the oven to boil. She grabbed a mug from her cabinet to the right and above the oven, then took a seat at the table in the kitchen area in waiting for her nightly tea. Tres had hoped that the chamomile would help to settle her nightmares and flashbacks of Helena. They had only gotten worse since the surgery, and had given her too many restless nights recently. So she sat and waited after a mundane day, to hopefully sleep.

" Oh god damnit I'm bored..." By now Core had become restless by lunch time; tired of staying cooped up within four walls of the all too familiar cabin. After several hours of cleaning his basic sword and a few daggers he had picked up at the market. Core was already beginning to become anxious to adventure out again. He had stated what it felt like to walk again, to talk and to be seen by more than just one person or who ever had possession of his vessel prison at that time. Core wanted to go back to the Kingdom of Nova, even if it was just a few hours. With a bit of hesitation, Core silently observed his surrounding and the contents of the dinner of Claire's home. She had been gone for awhile; Perhaps she was still out on some personal business or was even in the kingdom of Nova herself? Core pondered, silently cleaning up his mess and walked around the cabin preparing himself to leave the house for the eve. Dressed in a cream tunic button up top, dark sage green vest with leaf vine embedded designs trimmed with brown leather and brown leather buttons. Black pants and boiled dark brown leather boots. His dark blue hair pulled back into a low pony tail with a green hair ribbon made out of the same material as the vest.
He looked like a gentleman of middle class; or so he believed as he threw on brown cloak and walked out the door. Core walked through the forever forest for most of the day, finally making it to the Kingdom's outer walls by...Core looked around, realizing it was nearly dark out. A heavy sigh escaping him as he entered into the kingdom and walked through the third district all the way to the second. His expression was mixed with amusement and the entire walk, not realizing he was absentmindedly walking directly to the residential district. Once Core finally realized that the buildings he was staring at were not and indeed houses, he also realized he was walking the same path he took by roof top the night before.
Even so far as to realize the house he stopped right in front of; The same house he had broke into the night before where he was reunited with Aria and met a few of her friends. He stared at the door with a puzzled expression at first. Conflicted of what to do... He had walked all the way out here and the woman who lived here was a Thief of Nova from what Aria had claimed. So perhaps with her being a fellow thief, he could ask more about the world in which he was re-birthed into. Core stared at the door with hesitation and a blank expression on his face.. A chuckle escaping out as he knocked on the door.

Tres grew nervous upon hearing a knock on the door downstairs. She hadn't any idea of who it could be at this hour. Tres raced over to her room, grabbed her robe, and threw it over her nightgown. Tres briefly stopped by the stove, and removed the kettle as it whistled it's merry tune. Tres made her way down the stairs holding onto the railing in a hurry. She quickly straightened herself out, and hoped for the best.
Tres had a visit in the middle of the night the other night, where a patient came seeking help after being poisoned in the third district. It was a very rushed situation, and it always worried Tres. Sadly, it was part of being a healer. However, she took a breath, and hoped that the undisturbed knock did not lead to another patient.
Tres took a peek out the window, and spotted some familiar blue hair. It was the man she had met the other night... Aria's friend. Tres let the curtain slip from her fingers, and reached for the cold doorknob. She opened the door, peering her head out, in which her body followed. She grabbed the edges of her robe, and wrapped them tighter around her body, then folded her arms in front of her, leaning against the door. "Hello..." she said with a curious tone. "Core, right?" Tres would push the door back, allowing room for Core to come into her home. She would laugh a little under her breath, smiling ear to ear. "You knocked this time." she laughed, inviting Core inside.

Core was becoming a bit anxious; He could hear dogs barking down the street and felt nervous whenever anyone walked by. Not that he had anything to be nervous about, but he was beginning to feel odd just standing outside what looked like a infirmary? Strange he hadn’t noticed what the building was before; Though he could see why he didn’t notice it before from the angle he was looking at the building before when he broke into it the night before. Though now thinking about it more, he probably looked even more odd standing outside an infirmary out at night.
Great, racking up the late night visits like a creeper. Core thought, unsure if he should give another knock. It was rather late, he could just come back another time. He thought, while observing the front door. It was then he noticed the shift in the curtain out of the corner of his eye.
Ah someone was awake.
Core waited patiently, A gentle smile appearing on his features when the door opened and Tres stuck her head out. Ah so she was awake, his eyes following to her robe; his cheeks becoming flushed with a bit of red. “ Hello, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to disturb you this late. If this is a bad time-” He asks, his voice trailing when she asked if his name was Core. “ Oh.... Uh, Yes ma’am. Core is the name my mother blessed me with. “ He chuckled, giving somewhat a playful response to her question.
His smile continued to linger as she invited him inside; Perhaps he wasn’t intruding? Though laughed when she commented about him knocking. “ I said I would, remember? I try not to go back on my word if I can help it.” he smiled with a nod, giving her a playful wink as he stepped further inside.
“ You have a nice place; I didn’t get to compliment it before.” He added, taking a glance around the main entrance of the house. “ I’m not interrupting anything am I? I wanted to come by and ask you a few questions. I figured since you were apart of the Thieves of Nova and a intelligent, cunning woman you could help me out. “ He smiled charmingly at her.

Tres felt the skin on her cheekbones flush into a bright pink at the immediate sight of Core. She wanted to blame it on the sunlight… or rather the moonlight, but there was simply something about Core that made her feel coy like the fish. Tres hadn’t realized how late it was until she peered up at the bright moon that hung decoratively in the sky. Tres’ attention was quickly averted back to Core at the sound of his charming voice. “Oh, I hadn’t realized how late it was.” she murmured in an off-set tone. “But please do come in. It really isn’t any trouble at all.” Tres would let Core enter her home, and would shut the door behind him.
Tres couldn’t help but giggle, she had known that his name was Core, she just found his nervous antics humorous… wait, was he nervous? Perhaps Tres’ nervousness was radiating onto him, and that’s what caused them to both feel nervous. Tres suddenly felt herself overthinking, this needed to stop. She smiled at his promise. He did seem to be a man of his word, however it was nice to see him actually knock this time. A charming gesture to say the least. “I was just making some tea, if you’d like to join me upstairs for some?” she offered blushing all-the-while.
She felt herself grinning ear-to-ear when he complimented her home. “Thank you,” she said gratefully, “I’m proud to call this my home and my place of work.” She smiled looking around the room and admiring all that she had worked for, and how far she had come. She immediately looked back to Core as he seemed to continue his nervous antics. “Oh please, you’re not intruding at all.” she answered honestly “To be frank, I haven’t slept too well these past few nights. Maybe some company will help with that.” She said pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
“Now I can answer any questions you would like. But first, how about that tea?” Tres made her way upstairs after locking the front door to the infirmary. As she went up the stairs, she blushed into a red tone, she hadn’t expected such compliments from a man of his stature. Tres continued upstairs and didn’t look to Core until she felt the blush subside. Tres went straight to the kitchen and grabbed another mug from her cupboards, filling each with the fresh flowers, stray petals, and buds to make a warm cup of chamomile tea. “Please, take a seat.” she said as she poured the hot water over the loose leaves. She grabbed both mugs, and gave one to Core, and placed one on the table for herself. Tres sat down, fixed her robe by closing it once again, then began, “So, what sort of questions does a mysterious and diligent man such as yourself have for a woman like me?” Tres could feel herself falling for his charm little by little.

Core looked up towards the moon when Tres turned her gaze to the sky; He smirking when she commented on the time and how she too didn't realize it herself. Odd, He thought to himself. Taking a quick glance at her attire as he stepped past her. He swore from the way she was dressed, she was getting ready for bed. With a raised brow, Core kept his smile the entire time she spoke. Grateful she allowed him to come into her home at such short notice and such a inappropriate time. " Thank you." He smiled gently, watching her movements carefully as she walked around.
" Uh yes, tea would be nice. Thank you." He nodded, noticing the flush of color splashed against her cheeks. He kept silent there after though, just listening to her as she thanked him for his simple complement. Though he raised his brow when she mentioned her home was also her place of work. " Wow, you seem to have it together to be able to stand home and work in the same environment. I'm impressed. " He smirked, relaxing a bit while he slowly glanced around the room. His attention turning back to Tres when she mentioned she hadn't been sleeping well for the past few days. " I see, I'm sorry your dreams are being plagued by terrors. I know that feeling and its not always a good one, so if its company that you want. I'm more than happy to oblige madam... " He nodded, giving her a smile as he watched her fidget with her hair and remember about the tea again. His smile brightened chuckling to himself, before he followed her up the stairs.
Once up the stairs he stopped, his eyes falling down her backside to a very notable feature her robe did barely any justice to hide. While her back was turned, he cocked his head slowly to one side and mouthed the word " Daaaaammmnnnn " silently to himself, while she disappeared into the kitchen. When she returned with beverages in hand; Core straightened his neck and head back up and smiled once she handed him the cup. He happily accepted the beverage and blew lightly over the mug several times before taking a sip. The flavors savoring on his tongue in a delightful manner; the taste sweet and floral like spring and honey. A expression of satisfaction appeared on his features. " It's been a while since I've had tea like this; I commend your brewing skills. " He nodded, watching her adjust her robe and take a seat across from another empty chair.
He did his best not to stare, but moved to seat down as she had requested. A chuckle escaping as she talked and he listened. " Well, what made a lovely like yourself decide to become a thief? You don't seem like the type. " He smiled warmly, taking a sip of the tea she had made.

Each time Core gave Tres a compliment of sorts, she would look down to her feet, smile ear to ear and then using her index finger she would tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Her cheeks continued to be flushed in a rosy pink colour. She wasn’t sure why Core made her so nervous or so timid. All that she understood was in the little time she did know him, he made her smile. That was all that really mattered.
Tres smiled at Core, with a sparkle in her eyes. “Thank you, the tea is from my self-sustaining greenhouse in the back. The tea leaves are from my crop of chamomile that I just re-potted a few days ago.” Tres smiled, she really hadn’t realized how much of a nature nerd she had become. Tres took a quick sip of the warm tea She knew that soon enough she would sleepy thanks to the plants in the tea. She felt the warmth of the liquid flowing down her throat, and let the steam from her cup hug her cheeks. She took in a deep breath and in-took an enchanting floral aroma.
Tres watched his every move as he sat down. He seemed to be avoiding eye contact with her… or perhaps he was avoiding watching her. Tres didn’t want him to catch her staring intently at him, so she looked back to the rising steam from her mug.
Tres quickly looked back at him as he asked her as to why she was a thief. Tres smiled when he called her lovely, her cheeks turning redder than before. Tres felt herself glowing from happiness. In a joking tone, she threw one of her hands on her chest in an “Me, a thief? How dare you sir. I’m only known for stealing hearts and healing them.” She laughed making a joke about her profession. “Well, I lived with Aria for some time, then after I moved out, we became closer and she asked me to join the Thieves.” Tres shrugged, she was kind of thrown into the thieves. Tres lied a little bit, she wasn’t sure if she was ready to tell Core that she was a fallen angel and that she had vowed to follow Aria once she joined the pantheon. Tres played it off as if that’s how it happened. She didn’t know how much Core knew.
After shrugging, Tres continued “I really am not the type… I’ve been a healer my whole life, I believe in balance.” She shook her head. “I don’t really know what Aria saw in me to become a thief.” Tres quickly raised an eyebrow and her posture immediately changed to a flirtier stance. “Perhaps that is why she asked me to be a thief. Because I don’t seem the type to steal your pocket change.” Tres winked at Core, then broke out into a laugh after a moment of consideration.
“What about yourself? What do you do? You obviously know Aria, but I’m not sure of what it is that you do.” Tres leaned back in her chair, resting her back against cold wood. She examined Core, looking him up and down, wondering about the mystery that is this man.
