After there miss adventures in the lower levels of the castile. Kail brings Lilith and Wayland to the Mary to buy them several drinks. He was ashamed of himself and got his own insecurities to control what he did. Perhaps this is why several people drank to get rid of feelings like this. He gets a table that was near the fireplace. "Well....lets try and make the best out of all of this at least" he said looking sheepish and looked like he needed a few. Even though he was young compared to Wayland and Lilith. Perhaps he could get to know these two a bit more as they technicly saved his sorry ass and then some. "So come on and sit down he said while pulling out the other two chairs for Wayland and Lilith.

Wayland sat in the offered chair. He'd been here often in his life. He practically knew everyone in the bar. Fellow colleagues, and old acquaintances. He felt comfortable here. This was home. This was family. "I can honestly say that I have never experienced that much excitement. Even though nothing happened from it, it was the best night of my life," and it was true. He avoided conflict his whole life and people generally avoided him because of his size. He attempted to smile again, but his face from a viewer would have thought he was completely serious. A sad curse of his.

Whata night, what a NIGHT! The Bloody Mary was booming with customers as usual. Which was a pleasent sight to see for the tall dark skinned individual. He came in through the doors with a stride in his step. A dark splotchy gray and black deer hide coat loosely hung over his shoulders. While the large tuffs of wolf fur bounced with each step towards the bar. Red eyes locked onto the pretty little bar maid with a devilish grin. " Sweetness, a pint of your stoutest Rum. " He smirked, flipping two coins onto the bar counter while pulling up a stool. The young bartender blinking at the rugged looking man whom she had become so familiar with.
" Louie, have a lot of nerve. Thats the third time you stood me up! " She scowled, glaring at the grinning man. Louie's brows popped with amusement as he pouted out his lips and smiled at the young lass. " Oh come now puppet, you know I've been busy. Now how about that Rum." Louie pouted, reaching over the bar and taking hold of her hands. He held her hands in his as he gave the pretty young lady a smile. Her cheeks just flushed and her lips quiver. " Oh Louie you hound." She sighed, giving up and reaching over to pour him a pint full of red rum. A wide devilish smile folding up his lips as he gives her a wink. " Such a good puppet." He smiled, leaned over the bar and kissed the top of her hand.
Now that he had his rum in hand, Louie turned in his seat. Deep crimson eyes scanning the Tavern for a possible meal ticket or two. Everyone needs a hired mercenary after all. Hell, they lived in a cut throat world. Somebody always wants to kill someone. So it was just a matter of waiting and scouting. Something was bound to stick out. Like the odd looking boy sitting with a odd looking group of 'friends'. Might as well watch and see. Also, probably not a bad idea to ease drop while drinking either. So Louie sat there patiently, his eyes locked on the table of misfits.

Lilith graciously took the seat, and leaned back in it, stretching out her legs and arms. Once they'd left the castle, they went directly to the Mary, and she had been in heels since before the party. Talk about tiring. She shook her hair out from the high pony tale from before, and long ago shoved the dagger back into it's hiding place in her boot. Her buzz from the ball had worn off when the cool air hit her face outside the castle, and reality was setting in that she was alone with two men she had just met. Mind you, both seemed overall pleasant, and not at all murderous, as they all almost got killed together, so she felt just a little safer around them. She let out a gush of air and sat up straighter, her hair falling in waves around her and the chair. She real personality was emerging for the moment, and she was becoming shy again, at least until she started drinking. At least we can tell this story to people and laugh about it. Kind of. She let out an awkward laugh, and let her face fall into her hands, elbows on the table. You both realize we're all idiots right? We could have been killed. She looks up to Kail. You we're being an idiot, by searching for some sort of treasure, danger, whatever- Turning to Wayland, she continues; and you had to be weird and follow the poor man. And I had to be adventurous and follow you both! ... Are we crazy? She let out a wild laugh and pushed the hair from her face entirely, shaking her head at them both.

"In some way we all are......all I have to say is freaking kismet that we met. Well at least one of us enjoyed that daredevil of a adventure. We could go on another adventure.....Well something less life threatening" said Kail as he had some ale. Not something too strong but needed a buzz from what happened. He saw that Wayland looked like he had enjoyed himself. While Lilith on the other hand was about to freak out. As she was sobering up from the near death experience. "So what do you two do for a living anyway. Since I guess we are a bit more then friends, I guess. I'll try and tell you a bit about myself and the world I'm from. Heck I'll show you a few items that came along with me" he said and asked the barmaid to bring them some food. Since he felt really out of energy as his emotional high was gone.

Wayland drank his drinks slowly, but gradually. Drinking was something that he didn't normally do because of how if affected him. For some reason that didn't stop him from drinking this evening. It was probably the adrenaline rush that his body was still experiencing. "Yeah, tell us about yourself!" Wayland had a sudden energy. He patted Kail on the back hard. "I'll start thought! I am Wayland Smith. I grew up in this city. I'm a shy person who tends to keep to himself. I enjoy making weapons. It's my life's blood. When I'm not making weapons I like to travel around and explore the woods and places that people generally don't go. I do enjoy a good book, but I can rarely find one. On average I say twenty words a day, and as I can see I've already surpassed my limit for the day," he takes a break from talking and drinks another whole cup,"I don't even know you people...what am I doing? Why am I here? Why am I ever anywhere...?" he shut up, but he was completely awake. His face was actually smiling though. Not huge, but the corners of his mouth curved.

Lilith smiled at Wayland's drunkness. It hadn't been that long, but he really packed it back. She was working on her second drink, and feeling it start to hit her. Well, if we're doing full introductory's, then we must go all out musn't we? She chugged what was left of her drink, set it on the table, and leaned back into her chair, fiddling with a section of her hair. My name is Lilith Harmonia. I grew up in the second district, not far from here actually. I, um, am normally really quiet as well, as I tend to steer clear of human contact, or rather, contact of any kind- she pushed some hair behind her ear, revealing the pointed tips, signalling that she wasn't human. She smiled. I work in the local library, also not to far from here. I just like being around so many books. It's like being around thousands of people, and their lives, without really being around any of them. But anyway, today I seemed to have lost my mind, because I don't know how I got here. Or what the hell was in that punch at the party. She shook her head, causing her to let out a small burp. Her face plunged into a scarlet tone, and she bowed her head. ... Pardon me. She looked up tentatively, not having publicly embarrassed herself in quite some time, and especially not in front os strangers. Could she really even consider them strangers now though? After all, they had been through quite the night together. She looked over to Kail. He was fated. For some reason, though she never felt the need to approach one, anyone really, the fated had always interested her. A land other than Nova... What wasn't fascinating about that? Knowing her, she could probably listen for hours about what goes on in Kails world- or any fated world. She didn't completely understand why they were here, but she was certainly curious about them. Being as she was with one now, she took advantage of it, knowing she may never have this opportunity again, drunk as they were getting. Okay, Wayland and I have both said our parts, now it's your turn Kail. I understand if this is weird, or blunt, but you must understand, people like you, fated, are so curious to us-me- and I just must know, what's it like, where you come from? Are there elves there? Gods? Balls to crash and nearly die in? She added that last bit for sheer humour, hoping to make a joke out of it, and make her questions less pushy. She was leaning forward now, curiosity burning in her wide lilac eyes. Her hair was scattered around her, some on the table, her lap, and almost the floor, spilling around her like a white/gold waterfall. There was a small smile on her face, subconsciously excited to learn about a new world.

Kail felt the slap on the back from Wayland as he described himself. He had a small chuckle or two on this guy being more of the silent big guys. The fact that Wayland did make weapons for a living was something to note. As he could help him with some things later on. None the less he saw the guy smile a bit more and saw that he was enjoying himself. Then with Lilith's turn he had another chuckle but stopped when she showed off her elven ears. It did take Kail a bit by surprise but seeing Ilta though he was not too shocked. He also learned that she was shy and worked in a library. He almost rolled his eyes in that combination. Then she got to business and he had hardy laugh at that one. As she was curious about his world.
"Let me see here where to begin. I'm Killian Lancaster, age 18, and my profession.......I guess struggling artist and I guess amature adventurer now. Er I guess I dive into things without thinking sometimes. As you well saw tonight " he said with a laugh and was slowly taking sips from his ale. As he was trying to make it last. "The world I came from has no magic what so ever. Nor do we have mythical creatures or races. The only elves I know of are from books or plays. Or whenever a actor uses stage effects or make up. Or any non human person. We mostly rely on technology in my world. I mean we have been able to harness the power of lightning as well as use it to power things" said Kail and went into his pocket and pulls out his MP3 player. And places it on the table for the two to see.
"Like this thing here as a example of technology from my world. We are able to record music and place it on something for others to listen to. This thing here, even thought its small as a coin....it has over one thousand songs on it. But....this thing has a limited amount of power. Since I don't have anything to charge it with. I need to learn how to use lightning magic or control it. So I don't lose everything from it, one of the few things I have from my world. I think you understand how far and different this world is compared to my own" he said finishing. As he was going to let this all sink in for Wayland and Lilith. Since some of the other Fated seemed to be from other fantasy worlds. Or mediviel places of origin while he was the only person from the modern world.

"It is nice to meet both of you." He didn't have the slightest clue of what to say next. He had rambled on for a while just a few seconds ago. After awkwardly sitting there he put his hand out to shake with theirs. "I've always thought this place to be a fun place. A lot of locals come here for a good night and there's usually a lot of entertainers..." He had run out of things to say.

Lilith was listening eagerly to Kail as he spoke, drinking in every detail so as to write it down later. She had finished her drink, and was holding a new one, while leaning forward still almost as if to hear better, over the noise of the tavern. She didn't want to miss a thing. He'd mentioned he was a struggling artist, though she was unfamiliar to the term, she knew what an artist was, and considered herself to be one as well. No magic!? That stunned her beyond words. She'd never heard of a place with no magic. Though her powers were limited, she couldn't imagine her life without them. Though, when he began to show them a device he called an "MP3 Player" She didn't believe there was no magic. How else could you fit such amazing sounds into a little box? Kail didn't seem to question it, so she refrained from asking. I believe you are correct Kail, our world are quite different from each other in more ways than describable. She sat back into her seat, her eyes wide as she attempted to imagine the place he had described. She would try to draw it out later, she knew. Lilith turned to face Wayland as he spoke, feeling the awkwardness emanate from him like an aura. She shook his hand. Wayland, it is quite the pleasure to meet you, both of you, though I can't really attest to this place, it's the first time I've been here. She blushed at her lack of life. She too no longer knew what to say, as she didn't want to bombard Kail with questions, but she didn't want to make Wayland anymore awkward than he seemed. She was out of her element, being the one who felt the need to speak. She bit her lip subconsciously as she looked around the tavern, trying to think of something to say. So... How are you liking our world Kail? And Wayland, you should stop by the library some time, because I can think of a book you would like, from the way you described yourself earlier. She attempted to make them both feel comfortable at the same time, but really, it just came out awkwardly jumbled.

"Sorry if I dumped a lot of stuff on the two of you" said Kail as he saw the expression on Lilith's face. As something like that did not was not possible to happen but it was the truth. He could see the cogs in the elf's head going into overdrive. But his eyes turn to Wayland as it seemed he was running out of ideas on what to talk about. "Wayland don't worry too much. I know that for you it seems actions speak louder then words" he said and then heard Lilith ask him how he was faring in this new world. He pondered that question a bit "Its been a bit hard.....I am missing a lot of convinaces I had back home. But aside from that I am trying to enjoy myself. I mean its like being dragged into your favorite book. But I might stop by the Library though. I know next to nothing about this world or the things in it. And out of curiosity what kind of book is that" he said and then looks over at Wayland.
"And I might stop by your shop if you have one Wayland. I need something better then these knives I got. There good but I need something with a bit more reach" he said and gently took out both of his nine inch survival knives and placed them on the table. "But in all honesty I need to make a lot of money. I want to get my own place with a lot of property area. So I can at least build a few workshops. I don't know how long I am going to be here. But I would want to get some creature comforts I had in my world" he said showing some kind of goal he had in mind for himself.

Wayland nodded his head,"I would love to come to the library. I sometimes enjoy a good book. He then looked to Kail and responding,"I will gladly make you a weapon,"he started smiling again. This was one thing he really enjoyed,"I can show you where the smithy is and we can measure you to see if I can make a sword that would be perfectly balanced for you."
Wayland was happy to have friends and to have new adventures, though at the comfort of his own home. And even though he seemed to be uninterested in Kail's history, he was thoroughly. He didn't feel like he could ask questions well enough to get a correct response so he kept his mouth shut. And it mostly confused him.

Lilith understood Kails standpoint on their world, a fairytale described his world perfectly, for her so she could only imagine what their world looked like for him. well, I was thinking the book of every weapon created in Novas time. Well, all the notable ones. Nothing to recent of course, it's an old book. But it seems interesting enough, if you enjoy that sort of thing. Lilith leaned back, stretching her arms and legs in her chair. She wasn't usually a night owl, and it was beginning to hit her, but she didn't want to leave just yet. She was having fun.

"I might need two, I'm very coordinated to use two blades at once. Although.....I might want something else besides a sword or two. I'm sure I can find your place Wayland. I need to get use to Nova and make some barrings so I can get around. I mean your smithy is in the merchant district right" said Kail as he stopped drinking as he needed to stay alert slightly. Plus be able to walk around coherently. He raised an eyebrow when Lilith mentioned the book about the weapons of Nova. Kail had to laugh at the sense of irony of this "Well ain't that ironic, although....I'm going to have to do some research on Nova. I need to know a lot more of this world" he said and looked over to the elf girl and saw she was getting a bit tired. He was not sure on Wayland but he did not want to see Lilith go home alone.
"It is getting late, do you need a escort home Lilith" said Kail since that was the right thing to do in this situation on the matter. Plus he did not want someone to take advantage of her while slightly drunk in this state.
