Cam had sent a message for Lucifina to meet him in the meadows since the moment he had discovered the place he enjoyed coming out there when he had a chance. Since today was the new moon he was allowed the afternoon and the evening off so that he could relax and not cause any trouble because of his nature. Currently, he was sitting in the middle of the meadow, his shirt off folded on the ground next to him along with a cloak. He was wearing loose black pants and on his feet, were his normal sandals still not use to the Nova customs just yet. On top of his clothes was his whip he made sure since his encounter with Lucifina that he took it him everywhere he went since it wasn’t a weapon to kill just to slow and detain someone for a short period of time.


Reminding closed legged as he allowed his mind to meditate on his powers. Even with the restrictors on he could feel that his control was well maintained then again, the sun was just setting and he wasn’t close to his full demonic strength just yet. Keeping his eyes closed until Lucifina appeared so they could get this lesson in control underway.

After receiving the message from Cam to meet him at the meadow Lucifina wondered for a couple minutes if it was a trap since he was a demon, but looking back after remembering what the headmaster said about demons were more of a race then creation of evil along with how much cam did help her during that time she decided it would be safe to meet him. After changing to her dress since she didn't have anything else she walked out the door , spread her wings, and flew towards the meadows.


By the time she got to the meadow the sun was slowly beginning to set, seeing the demon on the meadows Lucifina descended and landed a couple feet from him before using magic to make her wings vanish and walked closer to him “ h..hello Cam you wanted to see me? “Lucifina said starting off nervous before taking a breathe to calm herself. Though she didn't notice her body was reacting to something as if there was a slightly different aura surrounding him. Looking at him with his eyes closed she wondered if he fell asleep as she moved closer to poke him “Cam? Did you fall asleep by chance?” she said as she was about an arm's length away from him. Her arm reaching out to touch his shoulder.

Cam didn’t open his eyes when Lucifina first appeared or when she asked if he had fallen sleep. The touch of her arm on his shoulder made his eyes open, looking from the arm to the person it belonged to noticing the familiar purple hair and ruby eyes. Taking a deep feeling his desire for Lucifina but had to remind himself that she was like a sister to him and he doesn’t desire any of his family members. It was hard because he knew that she didn’t share a single drop of blood with him or any of his siblings. “I’m okay Lucifina just meditating tonight is the new moon. Think of tonight similar to your own full moon nights.”


Taking a few moments to re-center himself before speaking once again. “You can take a seat across from me. I figured it would be easier to show you how to have control on these nights instead of just telling you.” Carefully reaching up he brushed his hair back revealing that he was still wearing his restrictors normally during this night he wouldn’t even take them off but he wanted to show Lucifina that control can be gained without having to rely on a magical object all the time. Taking off all of his resistors he carefully handed them over to Lucifina feeling the weight lifted off his powers and energy it felt a little strange to have full access to his powers. “Hold on to these and don’t hand them to me unless you believe I am in need of them.”

After touching Cam’s shoulder she noticed cam open his eyes before beginning to talk to her. Hearing how it was his “time” she became wary for a few seconds before realizing he seemed to be acting normal “ Ah that's good to know, at least it seems you have it under control right?” Lucifina said to cam before taking a seat across from him.

Before Lucifina could ask why cam wanted her here she noticed cam taking off the restrictors and handing them to her. “don't you need these though cam” Lucifina said right before he said to only put them back on him when needed. With that in mind Lucifina became slightly wary again ready to instantly cast her magic if cam made any sudden movement. Though as of right now her magic was severely weakened at best it'll be able to force him to stop moving for a few seconds if needed.


“okay but if worse comes to worse I will be forced to use magic on you Cam. Though I preferred not too” Lucifina honestly spoke as she knew cam would never purposely harm her. After saying that she continued to look at cam prepared for if anything happens.

“Trust me it only had ever gotten worst once in my life.” He said honestly thinking of his child and how two years ago he had lost control. Closing his eyes he still remembered that night it was one of the local girls in town that he knew had taken a liking to him and flirted with a little. Shaking thoughts times away not wanting to think of it right now since he needed to remain calm and in control.



“I figured it would be easier to show you how to remind in control even if all your instinct are screaming at you to find release in the opposites or the same sex.” He said, as he opened his eyes and stood up, stretching causing his abs to ripple a bit as he got the knots out from sitting down for so long. “Walk with me it is a beautiful night even if the moon isn’t at it’s brightest.”

“At the least it was only one time” Lucifina responded after hearing what Cam said. Afterwards hearing what Cam said she looked at him “The moon not at its brightest would be the best right now Cam and i’m pretty sure you’d agree” Lucifina held a small smile hinting out on her own curse and demonic side. “But sure I’ll walk with you Cam just give me a second” Lucifina said as she stood up and held all his restrictors deciding that carrying all of them in her hand would be unnecessarily difficult for a regular stroll she slid a few of them on herself making sure at least half of them was still on hand just in case. “ Sorry i had to put a few of them on so its simple to move around without dropping them all”

"Yes but that one time left a lifetime impact upon myself and the person," Cam said feeling a bit better after stretching. Bending down he picked up his whip placing it back in its holder and folded his shirt and cloak over his arms. "Well, I think by the time the moon is at it's brightest we would be more prepared." He said winking at Lucifina, now that he has gotten a bit more comfortable around her he wasn't afraid to flirt with her or even open up a bit more speaking freely around her. Watching her put on the restrictions he made note that she looked good in the jewellery and might get her something as a present on the day that she was able to control her basic instinct. "It is fine, though you do look lovely in gold it suits you."

Walking across the meadow he took his time, enjoying the scenery and the sounds of nature coming alive in the evening. "You can ask me anything you like. I'll try to answer as honestly as I can."

“Oh okay im sorry to hear that” Looking at Cam as he continued to respond she realized his demeanor and attitude was changing and he was acting similar to how she was. “ Hopefully we’ll be more prepared, and Cam? Are you okay? You’re starting to act like I do when the moon’s out. “ while she waited for an answer from him, he began commenting on her looks with the jewelry on. “ Thank you Cam.”

Following Cam around the meadow Lucifina would switch between looking at the scenery and looking at Cam making sure he was okay. “ Well I guess how did you first learn to control your power”

“It is okay. I live with the mistake and so does the other person.” Cam flashed her a charming smile and laughed a little at the mention of if he was okay. Compared to how Lucifina had been when they first met he was more aware and in control. He liked that he normally just flirted mostly during this time it kept him under control and calm. “I am okay darling. I just can’t help myself around a beauty like yourself.”



Listening to Lucifina as she spoke he knew that she was looking at him wondering if he was going to do something that might make her place a restrictor on him. He might be young as a demon still but he had the control that was one thing that he prided himself on. The question was a little unexpected he had thought she would ask him about his family or maybe what happened on the night he lost control. “I learned control from my mother and my two of my older siblings during the time my older brother by a year was also learning control. Mother figured given where we work that all of us should learn how to control ourselves.”

Looking at Cam, Lucifina did question it a bit that he said he was okay though she kept that to herself. Though looking at Cam act all flirty did seem weird she secretly enjoyable though she herself probably didn’t realize it. Hearing what Cam said besides from the urges it seemed he had somewhat of a normal life. “It seemed you had a fairly normal life then Cam, correct me if I’m wrong” Lucifina said to Cam while trying to recall everything he mentioned about himself. “Though how would watching you help me control my curse more Cam? Sorry I’m just more accustomed to actually trying something over explanations for me it's easier to try it. Though obviously we wouldn’t be able to try anything since the moon’s not out at all right now.”

Lucifina looked up at the darkening sky where the stars began to shine brightly even without the light from the moon. “ but tonight everything does seem peaceful does it not Cam?” Lucifina asked continuing to put effort in changing her attitude towards him especially since he was a person trying to help her control herself.

Thinking for a moment on when Lucifina said that he had a normal life well at least family. His family might be normal in the sense they all looked out for each other and helped however them could, it was thanks to Cam’s mother that they could get a small house on the castle grounds for them to live in given what there were and they each helped and add layers or extend the house when another family member joins the family. Thinking on his up brings it was less than normal given the type of training he went through because he was gifted with higher intelligent compared to other children his own age. “My family was normal but my up brings not so much.”



“Well, I wanted to show you that control is easy my darling angel. I would love to teach you to control if you can will your succubus side to come out and play so I can teach you.” Cam stated being completely honest with her. He couldn’t teach her proper control if she couldn’t bring her succubus side out plus it was one of the other reasons he wondered if he could will her demon half out without it being the full moon because if she could it would mean she already had some control. Though given that she was a succubus he wondered if maybe she could only bring that side out during events where lust ran high and that side of her comes out easier given the situation. “Today is very peaceful. Though I do miss home the nights are much warmer though Nova nights are perfect for cuddles. Don’t worry my darling as beautiful as you are I don’t see you in that way.”

Looking at Cam she did want to ask to go further more on his upbringing but knowing it was not what she came to do went against asking, hearing him bring up control again she looked at him “ Control may be easy for you but it still is extremely difficult for me, and there is no way she’s coming out tonight. It's the furthest from a full moon and I am wearing a few of your restrictors. If it could come out forcefully then it means the curse is much stronger than me” Lucifina said honestly since she got a basic grasp on the curse’s power. The stronger it got the harder it became to control in simple terms. Looking at cam she said in a slightly depressed voice “ yeah I basically have no control of it, after all these decades I haven’t gotten any closer to controlling its power.”

Looking at Cam for a second as he spoke she had a slight frown on her face “ though I am grateful that you don’t see me like that I do believe that could be taken offensively. Though I see that as a good thing, if i was under its influence I’m sure it wouldn’t be as peaceful right now.”

Cam nodded his head as Lucifina spoke it seems like he was right in a small sense, the woman had no control. That was bad and given what her demon side was made it worst it was why many of his kind tend to keep within close-knit families and stay away from outsiders. Hearing her say decades made him stop in his steps because it honestly couldn’t have been decades a normal demon even without proper training gains control within a matter of one or two decades depending on what they sub-species was. “Lucifina darling how many decades are we talking?” His voice having lost some of its flirtation and taking on a serious tone. He needed to know this information cause given what he knows so far and how she acts he could have assumed that she been going at this for only a few years now maybe five at most.



“Don’t take it offensively, it’s just I see you more as a sister. Also between you and me I don’t females with big breast, I prefer them small because it means I can get closer to they heart. It is also why I like men since there is nothing prevent me from listening to their heartbeat.” He said being honest with her plus he didn’t expect that she would have taken it as an offence. Then again, he was an incubus so many she thought that he was rejecting her and didn’t even see her as someone to be intimate with or even as a potential mate.

Hearing what Cam asked she looked up in the sky for a second before counting on her fingers trying to remember when exactly she got the curse and then looked at Cam with her hands out in front of her “ Well I got cursed about 100 years ago, it took about 2 decades for it to finally take control for once afterwards and its been like that until now. So about 8 decades or so?” Lucifina said honestly though with a slight innocence in her voice.

“I wouldn’t take offense to that, though until i can fully control myself my other side may try to prove you wrong when it has the chance.” Lucifina said with an almost depressed and tired voice as she recalled their first meeting and how she acts as the moon drew closer. “I don’t mind your more of a friend to me then most people right now anyways even after knowing what I am, and hopefully I’ll get over the hatred of demons as soon as possible since I dont know when I’ll be forced home. Though Adrian did say that demons here and in my world are almost fundamentally different.

Cam's facepalmed upon hearing that Lucifina had been dealing with this curse for more than 80 years and had the much control over it as a demon who just hit puberty. The innocence tone of her voice didn’t help either honestly, he knew that she wasn’t born the same was as he was since she was created and cursed so in a sense she was a human made demon but still basic control was something that came to most of them because they wanted to live a normal life. There were the few that just allowed instinct to control them and just did whatever they pleased but that’s when someone hunts them down and kill them. Cam still couldn’t believe that he was dealing with someone older than him but had less control than his child if he ever gets to meet them. “Um, Lucifina no offence but what have you been doing all those years. Surely you didn’t just let the demon side of you do whatever she wanted during the full moon. That is dangerous if you allow instinct to control you that behaviour is harder to counter as you get older to try and live a normal life.” He said almost scolding her like a child for being irresponsible.
