‘Ooohhhohoho’ An evil laugh echoed through the halls of the castle; she was going to enjoy this one. “Is the king wiiilingly participating in such an event! One who has such a delectable hate for magic?” A purple glittering fog, seeped under Nokus office’s door. A curvaceous woman soon appeared; her glittering purple eyes narrowing in detests as she looked upon the king of Nova. One who scoffed at magic; who hated its existence…a gift thrown back in her face. A long slender hand held up a red rose up to her nose. “Such a lovely flower; one intended to give to your lover no doubt.” She chuckled as she glided over to his desk; calmly sitting upon the edge. “Love…Ai always said it has a certain magic to it; I do hold a special place in my heart for magic. Even different types; after all magic is a gift I have given to the world….but why should I let someone like you experience such a gift?  I’m doing something nice for that person’s daughter whose fate is the same as mine. Why should I give you another one of my gifts?” She leaned in close; her cold eyes searching for a sign.



“The woman you intended to give this to; she embraces my gift yes? And yet you embrace her……perhaps for her sake. I will give you my grace this one last time. Perhaps she can teach you to enjoy the gifts given to you” Caster leaned forward grasping the front of Nokus shirt and thrust her lips upon his. In that moment the scene began to change. The room began to rock around them and slowly they would find themselves on a boat. The person whom had their lips pressed to Noku’s was no longer Caster but that of the woman he had sent the rose to. Caster sat upon the edge of the deck smiling; the moon casting a lovely glow on her features. Her gaze directed towards Lilith as soon as the couples lips would surely part. “Girl child; teach this man something useful tonight will you?” She winked “Enjoy my gift, please do make it entertaining”



With a poof the glittery fog returned, and was quickly carried off with the breeze. At the very same moment the small sea vessel hit shore. They would find themselves on a remote island with white sandy beaches; and tall cliffs. The beach they found themselves on was not overly large; and it let into some thick vegetation that led to the tall cliffs. High above them a small stone gazebo could be spotted on top of the peak of the mountain. The beach was on the eastern half of the island; only accessible during the summer months. The beach was well lit; not by fire but by the plants around it. A few magical plants of different varieties glowed softly; pricks of fire flies zoomed here and there. Even the soft waves that lapped the edge of the shore seemed to be glowing a dazzling blue. Not far from the lapping waves sat a blue blanket; surrounded by romantically lit candles. Upon and around the blanket whit flower petals were scattered. Coconuts with the tops cut off; were filled with a delectable sweet drink. A tropical meal was also laid out for the couple to enjoy.

Lilith had just been minding her own business, tending to the small garden outside her cottage. She was dressed plainly, in a white and blue ensemble, her hair down in soft beach waves surrounding her petit frame. She had just gone back inside to wash her hands, and as she was drying them, she felt herself get light headed, her vision going blurry. Just as she thought she was about to fall, she gained her footing again, finally able to feel solid ground below her. Though, her face was very warm. Specifically her lips. 

Her eyes shot open, stunned to find herself kissing someone. She glanced around scared at first, but once she realized it was Noku standing directly in front of her her heart calmed itself. Right. The Blossom Festival She calmed her breathing, looking up at her love. Well hello you. She smiled up at him, leaning up to return the kiss again now that she knew it was him. She hadn’t realized however, that the one who brought them here was still present. Hearing her voice, Lilith jumped slightly, looking over to the source. There she found a simply stunning woman with dark hair and eyes like her own. Useful? She questioned nervously, not sure what to make of it. 

Looking around more she found that they were on a boat, closing in on an island. I can’t believe this is happening. She mumbled to herself; she was surprised Noku was actually participating in this festival at all!

[Noku Noru]

Noku glared at the strange woman who had appeared in his office. His heart pounding in his chest while he sat in his chair. Quickly scrambling to his feet the moment she approached his desk and began to speak. Damn magic users. Noku thought over and over. His lips pressed as he gave the woman a disgusted look. He would've spoken sooner, question this woman’s information and furthermore figure out how she slipped by his castle’s security. His golden eyes locked on the stranger with both fear and rage. Though when he opened his mouth to speak, her lips pressed his.

Noku’s eyes flared in rage when her lips touched his. The very idea of another woman laying herself upon him made his skin crawl; The image of Lilith with a swollen belly came into the forethought of his mind. His hand raised in reaction to strike, however, by what ever means of black magic… The woman before him was not the same. Noku halted his swing, moments away from striking Lilith’s face. His hand hovering over her cheek, while he gazed at her wide eyed in horror. “ Well hello you.” Lilith spoke, leaning up to kiss him again.

Could it be? Was it really her now that he had felt his lips upon? Noku was confused, though there was no doubt about it. This was Lilith, her warm soft lips something he would recognize all too well. Perhaps what happened earlier was a dream? Noku thought, relaxing his body and carefully cupped the cheek he had already close to her. His fingers gently shaking as he caressed her features in his hand. His heart still pounding deep within his chest as he pulled her close.

He even jumping a bit at her own sudden jump when the magic users voice spoke up again. His eyes narrowing as she addressed Lilith. What did she mean by teach him something useful? Noku mulled over in his head, though refused to look away from the magic user.

Though as quickly as the magic user appeared and brought them out to where-ever they were, she vanished in a fog; leaving the two behind. Noku still angered, held Lilith in his arms. Had he known the festival would do this, he would of been more prepared. He quickly took note of their situation. He identified the type of boat they were on and the closeness of the shore and braced for impact. His own footing grounded on the ship’s deck. As he held Lilith in his arms in order to stop her from jerking along with the ship as it hit shore. He didn’t want her to shake too much with unborn twins growing inside her.

With the ship now on the sandy beach, Noku released lilith and let out an audible sigh. “ Are you alright? Did you know that woman? ” Noku asked his voice still sounding some what upset.

Lilith glanced over and saw his hand move from the air to her cheek, now aiming to caress it. From the angle if had been raised, it looked to be something far different. She looked up at him with confused eyes, bringing her hands up to her chest. W-why did you raise your hand at me? She asked softly, assuring herself that there absolutely must be a reason for it. He wouldn’t strike her- not ever, let alone while she was with his children. She could feel his heart pounding as he pulled her close to his chest, her own heart battling his for speed. 

She didn’t know how long she spent pressed against his chest, watching as the land slowly made its way close to them. She noted how carful he was being with her; not even allowing her to rock with the boat. When the boat settled into the sand, he released her. She blinked and looked up at him as he spoke to her, shaking her head. No… I’ve never seen her before in my life… She continued to stare at him, eyes still confused.

[Noku Noru]

Noku looked at Lilith with concern and a bit of guilt. Her question causing him to fidget a bit with his hands, while he rolled his lips in hesitation of answering her. He had hoped that his action would of gone unnoticed, however, her expression towards him said differently and it tore at him.
“ I raised my hand because that woman had decided to rob a kiss.” He spoke in a calm tone, though his expression was snarled in a more aggressive manner.

He took a couple steps to the side and stepped out onto the sandy beach. His arm extended to hold his hand out to Lilith in case she needed help out of the boat. His lips pressed as she spoke again about not having seen the woman before in her life. “ That concerns me how powerful, unnatural and disgusting Magic users really are…” He spoke in a low tone, almost as if he was speaking to himself before he looked up. His golden honey eyes going wide like saucers as he realized he had most likely insulted her and now…” Forgive me… I’m still a little upset. I do not mean to compare you to that of something unnatural or vile.” Noku apologized, knowing very well he was scared, plus his own offspring would possibly carry the gift of caster.

Then it hit him; Why he felt so unsettled by the woman who had robbed his lips from his beloved. ‘ Caster.’, Yes, That had to be it. It was too uncanny how that woman resembled the drawings he had seen in the library books and scrolls as a child. The mother of magic had stolen a kiss from him. Which made his skin crawl a bit, however, he shook the thought aside as it seemed Lilith and him were in no immediate danger.

Noku relaxed a bit and waited for Lilith to step off the boat; so he could pull it further onto the beach, after all, he had no idea how they were going to get off the island. The boat that ‘troublesome’ and possibly dangerous deity had left them was probably the only way off this island. . Better yet, he had no idea how far the mainland was from wherever they were. Though he had to admit, he was thankful his company was one that he rather enjoyed and was most fond of.

Lilith waited for his answer, seeing the change in emotion on his face. When he explained himself, Lilith furrowed her brows, wondering who he meant, before realizing it was probably the Goddess who'd taken them here. After a moment of thought, she relaxed her face and nodded. In that case, I understand. I'm flattered you'd take such action against kiss that wasn't mine. Lilith smiled.
She took Noku's arm, stepping out of the boat carefully. She looked up as he started speaking, blinking at him, hurt instantly crossing her face. Now, she did know he had an aversion to magic, and in the back of her mind she understood his fear, but in that instant, her automatic reaction was to be hurt. It didn't take him long to realize his mistake, as his eyes went wide and he spoke up, immediately apologizing for his words. She sighed, ...It's alright... I just hope my magic doesn't scare you, or would ever make you... well... make you hate me like you hate them... Lilith looked down at her feet, face saddened by the thought. Noku really did hate 99% of magical things... what was to stop him seeing her that way some day?

Good to be king

▲ Noku watched in curiosity; A little worried, but yet interested in what Lilith would do or say. He remained silent, keeping his eyes on Lilith as he took note of her facial expressions as they changed. It seemed she had to process what was told to her. For a moment Noku began to grow steadily worried. Had he truly upset her? The silence that came from her while she pondered made him pondering, but his concern lifted when she began to relax and speak again. The tension breaking the moment her lips parted to give him a smile. His heart a flutter for a moment, but it was cut short when he saw her brow begin to furrow and her sweet smile turned into a frown. His lips pressed together as she began to speak again. This had been something on his mind. One he had pushed to the back of his thoughts for the most part; up until now. He knew of Lilith's true origin; Her Dova blood that coursed through her veins and would potentially release him of his curse, by giving birth to his children. It has been this knowledge since the beginning of his life, that he would be destined to be with a magic user if he wanted to or not. Even if he didn't know of Lilith's Divine blood before; He would not intentionally try and push away the woman that had chosen to accept him... Monster or King...  " I would not hate you... After all, you chose to lay with a monster and bare it's children." Noku spoke softly, his lips pressed in a frown and his own gaze looked away from Lilith. He turned his head to look out around the beach once more; taking note of the gazebo up high and exotic glowing plants that illuminated the beach. Noku even took note of the glowing water. It also didn't take long to spot the area lit by candles, one he guessed was left behind by the woman who had brought them out here. " It seems something is lit up over in that direction. " Noku finally spoke up, gesturing to the blanket surrounded by candles that he could see a little ways off on the beach. He extended his arm once more to her, holding out his elbow in case she wanted to take hold; His expression calm and stoic as he began to walk over to where the blanket and candles were. ⚜ ⚜ ⚜

While Noku took a moment to respond to her, she fiddled with strands of her hair, folding it over her fingers and letting it loose, over and over again. A nervous habit she had. When he did speak, she looked up her purple eyes wide with curiosity. She knew he cared deeply for her, but she also knew his fear was deeply rooted within him. His answer had her shaking her head at him. You are the farthest thing from a Monster... She brought a delicate hand up to push some of his hair back. You are a kind, generous, honest leader. And our children will be just as king, as generous and as honest. She smiled genuinely, her purple eyes beaming at him. She was hoping her own smile would remove his frown.

As he gestured out to the candles, she looked over, curious as to what had been laid out for them. She smiled again as he lifted his arm to her, taking his elbow with her own arm, and resting her head softly against his arm as they began walking- she was a bit too short to reach his shoulder.

[Noku Noru]

Noku froze a bit when her hand reached up to brush a bit of his hair back. His eyes following her as she spoke and smiled up at him. Her words sweet and encouraging; filling his core with a tingly warmth that was hard for him to describe. He had felt it with one before, but around Lilith her smile just seemed to bring life back into him. His frown slowly turning into a soft smile as he walked along side her on the beach. “ You’re too kind. “ He whispered, not sure if she could hear him, but he kept his smile for her to see. While deep down his mind festered with the current state of the kingdom, plus his own future and the future that laid before the woman beside him.

When they reached the blanket, Noku sat down and stretched out onto the blanket. His eyes looking up at Lilith as he propped his upper half up with his elbows. “ You look absolutely radiant tonight, hon. I know we haven’t had much time to really spend one-on-one time, except when I can slip past Breton or at night, so I guess what I’m trying to ask is…” Noku asked, looking over his shoulders to the bottle and cups laid out; A feeling of deja vu from the last blossom festival event coming to mind as he looked at the full bottle.


His attention returning to Lilith as he took in a deep breath. “ Do you want something to drink? Eat? “ He asked, his tone not sounding so thrilling at the word drink.

Lilith beamed more as Noku smiled at her, commenting on her kindness. So I've been told. She admitted. Most people tended to describe her as quiet, shy and kind. She clung to his arm, enjoying the feel of his body so close to hers. When they reached the blanket and Noku stretched out, Lilith smiled down at him, curtsying lightly at his compliment, taking a moment to sit herself down comfortably.

Since finding out about her pregnancy, she'd grown a bit in size. Not enough that it affected her day to day too much, but enough that sitting down on the ground took her a second. Once she was down comfortably, she turned to her love again, smiling as he mentioned their lack of time together, pausing to offer her a drink. She saw his eyes linger for a moment on the bottle, and Lilith had flashes of memories of the rumors that had floated through the city a year before; of the woman who'd attacked the King during the festival. She wondered if he was still worried about that happening now.

Hmmm... maybe a small glass of wine? That couldn't hurt anything... could it? She looked down a tad worried at her stomach.

Noku raised a brow when Lilith asked to have a small glass of wine. Not that he had any problem with it, but he gave her a timid smile, compiled and then reached back behind him to grab the glass and the wine bottle. He poured a small serving of clear grape wine; Then handed her the cup. “ I suppose a glass wouldn’t hurt. “ Noku nodded, not seeing any problem in having something to calm the nerves. He himself hadn’t had a glass of wine since the last blossom festival. His golden gaze drifted down to the bottle in his hand; His thumb tracing over the lettering of the label. Perhaps he could relax for once… It seemed like they were alone, but then again he couldn’t be too sure.

Noku pondered this for a moment, silently weighing in the option to pour himself a glass or not. After a minute, Noku reached back to pick up the other cup. Poured himself a glass and held it up to his face to stare at the liquid. “ One year… It’s been exactly one year from the last time a glass of wine touched my lips. Perhaps this year will be different, with better company. “ He gest, holding his glass out to her. “ To good health, our future and to the kingdom’s future.. “ Noku toasted, tapping the edge of her cup with his.

“ Speaking of our future…. Have you thought of any names? I have one or a couple in mind. ” Noku asked curious to hear her answer, while placing the cup up to his lips to take a sip.

Lilith accepted the glass with a small smile, holding it delicately. She watched as he seemed to have an inner monologue with himself, glancing over at the bottle once or twice. Thats right... He doesn't drink... Not since... She blinked as he gabs another cup, pouring himself some. Her eyes widen slightly, but so does her smile. When he speaks, she flushes pink yet again, flattered by the compliment. She raised her glass with him, touching the rim of his with hers before bringing it to her lips. I love you. She responds simply, unable to find any other words that could express how she felt just then.

When the topic of baby names was brought up, Lilith tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, which was - you guessed it - tinged with pink tones. Actually... yes. For a girl... I've been thinking Aurora... but for a boy - and I'm really getting the feeling they're boys- the name Jonathan... its just sticking with me. She answered honestly, her eyes lighting up with the subject. What about you? Have you had time to think of any names in between all your Kingly Duties? She nudged him lightly with her foot.

Noku swallowed the sip he had took of his wine; A smirk appearing on his lips when he felt his leg being nudged by Lilith’s dainty toes. He enjoyed her playfulness and company compared to those around him on a day to day basis. His index finger tapping the glass of his cup listening to the names she had came up with. “ Those are fitting names my dear, Aurora Noru and Jonathan Noru .” Noku nodded his head, repeating the names as if testing how they would sound out aloud. His gaze turned to the half empty glass in his hand.

Noku hadn’t ignored her question; In fact, he held his glass in one hand and reached over carefully hover his left hand over her belly. He held it there with his palms down and his fingers spread out. “ Can I? “ He asked, still a little nervous and awe-struck that his offspring were growing inside. His golden eyes looking over to her with a gentleness about them. “ I have given some thought to names…. The name Halyan had came to mind if we were to have a son… I also thought of Gwen if you are to have girls.”

Lilith beamed at him. You really think so? I've loved the name Jonathan ever since I was a little girl. I think I got it from a book. I mean I really must have. She flushed, pushing some hair behind her hear and taking a sip of wine. She looked down as he brought a hand over her belly, hovering inches away as he asked for permission. She smiled warmly at him, bringing her free hand over to press his hand against her belly. Darling, they are your children. Of course you can.

When he spoke his choices, she beamed a him again. Haylan! Oh I simply adore that name! And Gwen is lovely. She was giddy with excitement. She never knew she wanted to be a Mother, but now that it was happening, so was so full of joy. Especially because of who she would be sharing the experience. She was staring at him now, her face and eyes full of wonder at how she managed to bring her life to such a perfect state. She tightened her hand on his on her belly, blushing.
