Go with the Tide [Nyx and Lucifina]

The summer breeze lifted its way through the trees on a beautiful afternoon. The sun was shinning behind soft white clouds, the blue sky incredibly vibrant to the human eye. The beach wasn't very crowded, given that it was the middle of the week; most residents still had day to day lives to take care of. That meant this could be a perfect spot for a romantic afternoon. The two, wherever they might be, would hear a sigh behind them. As they would turn to look, their eyes would be blinded by a bright white light transporting them to their destination. As the light blinded them, a voice would play in their heads. "My my my... aren't you two a fun pair..." It mused aloud, rather amused with what she knew about both women. "A foreign angel and a demon Temptress... what a pairing indeed." She cackled lightly. 

They would soon feel the ground beneath their feet again, albeit mushy ground given that it was sand. There was a blanket set out a few feet away from the pairing, closer to the water, with a large umbrella set up to conceal them. On the blanket was a bucket of ice, a wine bottle, and two glasses. As their eyes would clear up, they would hear the voice once more; "Now, don't have too much fun. This is a public place you know..." She giggle, fading from sight as their eyes focused.

After the light passed Lucifina stared into a view of the beach before looking around for Nyx “ Nyx! Nyx! Nyx! look its the beach “ Lucifina said like a kid. It looks so nice but how did we even get here? “. Moving towards the umbrella and seeing everything that was there she looked at Nyx, “ Hey Nyx is this for us?”

[Nyx]

Nyx had been walking around town getting ready to go to do some clothes shopping when she heard a sigh behind her. Turning to look behind her she didn’t see much after as the light blinded here it felt warm almost familiar yet different her thoughts were that maybe she was going home finally. Those thoughts quickly ended as she heard another voice saying something about a fun pair causing her to wonder what was going on until she felt the ground under her feet was now softer.



As the light died down she saw that she at the beach and she wasn’t even dressed properly for it. Looking around she was that a blanket was there along with an umbrella big enough to shield herself and something else from viewing eyes. It was then she heard another voice the one of her roommate Lucifina. Looking up she saw her and a smiled brightly closing the distance nodding her head when Lucifina asked if the stuff was for them. “It is I believe that this is our date spot.” Taking off her shoes she placed them next to the blanket as she wiggled her toes in the sand, moving closer to Lucifina she wrapped her arms her and planting a quick kiss on her lips. “How has my beautiful angel been?”

“Our date spot? What do you mean Nyx?” Lucifina asked as she tried to understand if there was any hidden meanings behind her friend’s words. As she was about to say something else Lucifina suddenly realized Nyx hugging her and giving a quick kiss “ N..N..NYX “ Lucifina shouted startled that she would do that here “ w..were in public you know. “ trying to calm herself down to figure out what was happening she heard Nyx ask a question “ I..Im good, not like were too far apart anyways Nyx we been almost always together lately. “ Lucifina said shyly as she tried to compose herself after what just happened “ S..so tell me how did we get here Nyx, what do you mean our date?”.

[Nyx]

“Yes, our date. I brought a red flower for you at the Blossom Festival.” Smiling brightly at Lucifina she did enjoy the way her cheeks redden when she kissed her. It was cute and Lucifina always acted so innocently sometimes that she couldn’t help but tease. “Not many people are here and it was only a kiss it’s not like anything that happens at night.” She winked at her before taking a seat on the blanket. “Well, the Goddess of Love brought us here to celebrate our love.”


Popping open the bottle of wine she poured some into each of the glass before putting the wine back in the bucket of ice. “A glass for you, my darling. So, what were you doing before you got spirted away to this spot.” She said as offered a glass to Lucifina, taking the time to look out at the water. The waves splashing upon the shore, the light spray of water and the scent of the salt in the air it was lovely plus with fact that they weren’t too many out on the beach today. Her fingers moved across as she laced her fingers with Lucifina as they watched the waves for a bit.

Lucifina looked at Nyx for a couple seconds before taking a breath and made a slightly angry pout “ You should had told meee “ Lucifina said, unknown to herself why she sometimes acted like a kid around Nyx, “ I didn’t expect any of this” Looking back at Nyx as she mentioned the goddess of love brought them together.

After taking the glass of wine she looked at Nyx “ thank you, and well before all of this I was at the Arch relaxing in our room for a bit” Lucifina felt Nyx lace they’re hands together and for some reason wanted payback though it was odd since she was in full control as Nyx was watching the waves lucifina grasp her hand tighter before pulling Nyx’s hand causing her to turn her head before kissing Nyx for a few seconds and then backed up “ that was payback for earlier “ Lucifina smiled as she waited for her friend’s reaction.

“If I had told you about the flower it wouldn’t have been a surprise.” Nyx wasn’t going to admit it but she did like when Lucifina acted childish sometimes it showed that she was down to earth. Plus, it was kind of cute even with her being older than her by a number of sunshine they were seen. “Lucikins I wasn’t aware of the fact that she would have taken us to the beach.”


“You are welcome. I see it must have been shocking to suddenly end up here.” The waves were enchanting as they change shape and even colours sometimes as they rolled they way onto the shore. Feeling a pull on her hand she turned only to feel lips upon hers at first, she was shocked since Lucifina wasn’t normally that bold. “You are childish you know that but I wouldn’t mind if this was how you did payback or even wanted to go a little further.” Winking at Lucifina before she took a sip of her wine. “So, tell me about the other person you been hanging out with lately. Do they have bigger breast than me?” She said with a fake hurt in her voice.

“Lucikins? Thats a new one Nyx “ Lucifina smiled as she heard that. “Hey I am not childish it was payback for eariler “ Lucifina faked a pout “ well we could but aren’t we in public? “ Hearing Nyx say in such an obvious fake voice Lucifina smiled slightly “ well he’s a demon, but he’s been helping me control my demonic side since you know I can’t control it too well. “ Lucifina moved in and sat a bit closer to Nyx, “ Besides from meeting him on a full moon nothing really happened, the headmaster has been helping us as well. But what were you doing before this Nyx?”

[Nyx]

"Don't you like it?" Nyx asked before pouting herself. "Why don't you have a cute nickname for me? When you say Nyx I feel as if you don't like me or I did something wrong." Her voice and demeanour changed as she lost most of her normal perkiness. Turning away from Lucifina she slowly sipped her wine as she listened and watched the water. 

At the mention of them being in a public place, she didn't even throw in a smart reply and just nodded her head. When she mention that the other person was a demon who was helping her learn to control her demonic side. "That's good. You do need a bit better control of your demon side." Her voice was void of any emotions as she continued to stare blankly at the sea. "Oh before I was brought here I was in town doing some shopping." Looking down into her glass she notices that it was empty and poured herself an another glass before she pulled her knees up to her chest wrapping her arms around them as she stared at the water wondering that was meant to happen on this date.

“I like it I’m just not used to it Nyx, and well it’s difficult to find a nice nickname for your name Nyx” Lucifina said apologetically as she went and hugged Nyx. “If you want I could try to come up with one but it would be easier if I knew your full name”



Holding onto Nyx Lucifina smiled “Yeah it’ll be nice when I could control it, I wouldn’t have to be locked up and according to Cam, I would be able to retain my memory during that time as well” Lucifina said trying to cheer Nyx up. Wondering what she could do to cheer her up Lucifina kissed Nyx on the cheek before whispering in her ear “Nyxie (pronounced Nyx-y)” Lucifina felt embarrassed as she said “Sorry that's the best I could come up with” Lucifina said as she continued to hug Nyx.

Nyx just looked at Lucifina when she hugged her and said that she didn’t know her full name. “It’s Nyx Sona North.” Turning her eyes back towards the ocean watching the waves, at that point she thought about what it would be like to have washed away from Nova by those waves.


Nodding her head when she said that once she gains control that she would be able to retain her memory of that night without her having to ask someone. “Well, it would be good if you are not locked up on the night of the full moon.” Nyx cheeks flushed red quickly when Lucifina called her Nyxie it was embarrassing but also super cute and she liked it. Quickly returning the kiss on her cheek. “I like it.”

"Oh I never heard a name like that its pretty unique hm nyxie?" Lucifina smiled seeing Nyx blushing for once. "Mhm it would be nice to be able to sleep in the same bed during the full moon again, its so lonely in there though the room is pretty big. oh maybe you should ask Adrian if you could join me in there until I control my powers huh Nyxie?" Leaning over to Nyx, Lucifina gave a fairly innocent kiss on Nyx's lips while smiling.

Lucifina recalled some of the nicknames Nyx had given her before and decided to try to see how far she could make Nyx blush "Hey Nyxie?" Making sure that Nyx was paying attention to her she smiled and said as innocently as posssible "Nyxie? do you prefer Nyxie or Nyxie-Chan?"

“It is cute and unique just like the person who came up with it.” She said still blushing a bit from the nickname. “Hm… how is it lonely. Don’t you get to go into a dream like a state and get to enjoy yourself to your heart's content.” Nyx said teasing Lucifina a bit about it since she kind of figured after what she had told her that one night that she was been put into the ARC. “I would ask Adrain if I could join you but I feel like it might be not until you gain some control.” She was almost a little sad that Lucifina started to act shy again.


Hearing Lucifina call her by the nickname. “Yes Lucikins?” She answered wondering what Lucifina might want, hearing her call her Nyxie-chan caused her to blush a bit more and also smile brightly. “Hm… I like Nyxie-chan it sounds cuter.” She said before she kissed Lucifina on the nose.

“Thanks Nyxie, and sure I can go to a dream like state but I still can’t leave the room. After so long it’s no fun to do it yourself. And dreams can only go so far before not being able to have another person to truely interact with makes the whole dream dull” Lucifina smiled as nyx said she would ask “Mhm well when I can control it I probably wouldn’t need the room anymore then would I?”

“Nyxie-Chan it is, anything you wanted to particularly do right now Nyxie-chan?” Lucifina asked as she looked at the half-angel with a seductive smile. Moving with the flow Lucifina slowly moved to Nyx's front and laid down on her legs. "Sorry Nyxie-chan it just looks to tempting to not do this"

Nyx looked at Lucifina as she spoke of being alone in the dream like state and it gets boring without another person to interact with. "Well Luc-chan darling you never tell me of your dreams. So I just assumed that they were the most wonderful dreams that ever had that a real person can not make up for it." Winking at her before giggling a bit at the thought of Lucifina being left unsatisfied by her own dreams and imagination.

When Lucifina decided to use her legs as a pillow she just rolled her eyes playfully. Using her free hand she let her fingers roam though the female's hair. "We can stay like this for a while and just watch the waves it's rare we get any peace like this." She said smiling at her friend and roommate knowing that it was true. "I could fall asleep like this." A yawn escaped her lips as she said those words realizing that this scene was beyond relaxing.
